12 am... thoughts on Obey Me. Fourth realmmmmmmmm
It is time I talked about the Devildom, the last one of the three main realms. Now, I know the other two were short... I'm trying not to kill off my braincell. Yes, singular braincell.
Mama has a los of ideas and absolutely no words to put them in here... Lisa would be dissapointed.
4. The Devildom
It was created somewhere between the beginning of humanity and the second separation of powers withing the Celestials. The apearance of this realm was due to Mox's hatered towards the creation of humans "What is the point of The Creator(s) having these worms as an experiment? No powers, no mind... no nothing!". He viewed humans as only mare pests (cut the first s and you would still be right), is viewing and will most likely forever view humans as such. For him, power was everything, not only body strenght, but also mana and spiritual powers. Humans had non, were created with none, so he viewed them as reboots. As mare little playthings for him and the others.
Not many Celestial shared his beliefes, although, and he was heavily judged for them, even though he was part of the Principalities (if he had remained in the Celestial Realm). What happened there was something out of a phychological thriller. He one by one tricked humans into believing certain lies: the sky is fake, The Creator(s) don't exsts and it's their own conscience keeping them alive, that if they jumped high enough maybe they could see the end of the universe. If you'd like, Mox was the very first person to ever create conspiracy theories... So if you want to thank someone for the fact that one of the people you know is stuck into conspiracies... it's Mox. ThAnK YoU mOX!
He, in one of his little journies in the Celestial realm (that thing is way too huge), he met the love of his life Maeke. She was the most beutiful angel who ever existed until then. But... since they were from different classes, The Creator(s) didn't like the closeness they had to one another and dismembered Maeke right in fromt of Mox. He. Was. So. DONE. With everything that these assholes did.
Mox gathered the little support that he knew he had, in which Barbatos was a part of it (hon hon hon), and began to march to Cloud9. They trashed the place in Maeke's name before they were found and exiled into a new realm. Empty and eerie. This realm is now comonly known as Devildom.
Yet, like the Celestial realm, the Devildom has a few separations. However, there is no rule stating that someone can't go in other separations (such as it is in the Celestial realm. That Hall still gives Luke nightmares, help him.) plus, Mox wanted to keep it simple. At first, since there were no sinners, the only sepparation that existed was the city in which the game is taking place.
Once the falling of humans into sin, they needed to separate thwmselves from rogue humans and so created Hell, bellow the city. It is a place in which torture runs by your own guilty subconscious. Yes, brutal punishments also exist on an outside level, but the "demons" (as they were from then on called by the celestials) prefer to see what the human mind can really invent. And they were more than surprised to see what a guilty human mind had to say for itself.
Soon enough, Mox was declared The Great Demon King by his followers, in a sense of respect and showing him their loyalty, showing him that he has the power. He needed men closer to him to rule this new realm. Of course, he offered Barbatos the spot as his right hand man, but he refused "I wish to serve you, my king. Nothing more. Please, kindly reconsider..." And he did reconsider. Barbatos was his most trusted friend, so if he felt more comfortable as a butler... then he'd let him do it. He named a great council, formed of 22 demons, called Senatoa. (I may or may not go in detail later on, idk.)
As more humans began to enter the Devildom, demons have learned from them many things about how their cities and countries were structured, they learned that both humans and celestials were completely and utterly stupid. Yet, nowadays, they imitate humans more. "At least humans have some flavour in their lifes"
Later on, he grew older and older and finally decided he should for a family. A royal family... and his children were meant to continue his legacy. He married Carolina, Diavolo's mother and had their son. Their life was very calm and quiet until the rebelion. Carolina was vieewed as Mater Supremum, loved by the people not only for the fact that she was the wife of the king, but also because she was very kind to less fortunate souls and known to try to make humans that went to hell feel a bit better about their pathetic afterlife.
In 260 moons (about 20-22 human years), the rebelion happened. Demons were called on the front by Lucifer and his brothers to help them fight against The Creator(s). Mox's old grudge fueled him in battle and Carolina together with Diavolo were helping the wounded. But then, from the sky, Seven luminuous entities began to fall accompanied by a rain of feathers and blood. Diavolo knew he should rush there and Barbatos went with him for extra hands on deck.
The first archangel he found was Lucifer, holding what was left of Lilith, crying and cursing himself for bringing his siblings into this mess that he created. The rest from here was history. After Lucifer's pact with Diavolo, it didn't took many moons beofre The Great Demon King decided to incorporate them in the official Devildom matters. They were now known as Avatars, The Seven Princes Of Hell, and viewed as royalty themselves.
Woho, the Devildom is now ready to go, baked and buttered just like fresh buns.... damn i crave some buns now....

A Persuasive Argument - dpxdc
"Great!" Danny says, clapping his hands together to get everyone's attention. The dinner table falls silent as everyone looks towards him. It's a full house today and, honestly, Danny's a little nervous. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I gathered you here today."
"It's dinnertime. In our house." Duke mutters, while doing a very bad job of concealing his yawn. He holds his fork poised over the braised beef, but, just like everyone else, still looks towards Danny before tucking in. It's intriguing enough to wait.
"Yeah, no one misses Alfie's dinner." Dick says, with a brilliant smile that Danny can't help but return.
"Precisely! What better time to talk to you all than when you're all actually here!"
"Wait, I thought you came round to work on our English essays?" Tim asks, blinking owlishly.
"I'm afraid I've lured you here under false pretences, Tim."
"This is where I live."
"I would still really appreciate help on that essay though, I mean, what the hell is Hamlet even about? I just don't get that old time-y language, like 'Hark! A ghost hath killed me!' - absolute rubbish, what does that even mean?"
"The ghost never kills anyone in Hamlet, he's there to tell Hamlet that he was murdered. Have you actually read it?"
"No, but it sounds like you have. Tim, I want this guy to help me with my essay instead. I know for a fact that you haven't read Hamlet, either."
"So? We don't need Jason, I've read the Sparknotes."
"Hi Jason, I'm Danny, pleasure to meet you, summarise Hamlet in three sentences or less."
"Am I auditioning to help you write your essays? I can't believe you’ve gone through your whole school life without reading it, it’s good!"
"Hamlet, along with a number of other classics, was banned in our house because it portrayed ghosts as intelligent and sympathetic beings rather than evil, animalistic beasts. I didn’t even get to see The Muppet's Christmas Carol until last year with Tim! It was surprisingly good, and I hate Christmas because everyone always argued and it sucked. But we're getting off topic. I—"
"No, no, please go back to that, because what the fu—"
"Boys, please." Bruce interrupts, looking to the world as if he wants to hang his head in his hands. "Danny, you were about to say something?"
"Oh, yeah, Mr. Wayne! Thanks!"
"Please, call me Bruce."
"Well, that very succinctly brings me to my point, because I'd actually really like to call you dad."
Nobody says a word. Nobody even blinks, all as shocked as the other, watching open-mouthed as Danny pulls his laptop out from beside his chair. Bruce can definitely feel a headache coming on.
"Before you say anything, I've prepared a 69 slide PowerPoint presentation on why you, Bruce Wayne, should adopt me, Danny Last-Name-Pending. Please save your questions, comments, and verdict until the end, thank you."

ghosts - batman: haunted knight
[ID: A multi panel sequence of Bruce Wayne as a child on Halloween. He's dressed up in a Mask of Zorro costume and is excitedly running down the stairs while holding two swords, calling out for his mother happily. He tells her that he's ready to go trick or treating. Martha Wayne has her hand on his shoulder and is smiling as she tells him, “your costume looks great!” Bruce replies, “Thanks, I made it myself. Alfred sorta helped. Is dad home yet?” Martha draws her hand back hesitantly and says his name. Bruce already knows that that means there's bad news. He tells her, “don't tell me,” before she continues and says his father called. Bruce has his head down, angrily finishing her sentence, “he's gotta work late!” He looks out the window as if his father will appear and says, “It's not fair! He promised he would take me trick or treating!” Martha soothes that she knows as Bruce repeats, “he promised,” to himself disappointedly. She tells him, “But there was an emergency,” which makes Bruce snap, “There's always some emergency!”
Bruce continues to stand in front of the window as Martha looks at him. Bruce announces, “I'm gonna wait for him. Even if it takes all night!” as he tensely clenches the handle of his sword. Martha reaches out for him sadly and suggests, “Bruce, I could take you out myself. Or, we can call some of the other children at school and go out with them.” Bruce, as an adult, somberly says off panel that, “she doesn't know...” as his kid self stares out the window still. His hat casting a small shadow on his face as he tells her, “There are no other kids to call. I have no friends at school.” Martha says his name again but doesn't know how to comfort him. Instead, she just silently places a hand on his shoulder. We see a silhouette from far away of her standing next to him as Bruce waits for his father to eventually come home. END ID]

if dorian didn't show up, do you think louis would have shot minnie?
I do. I know some people think either he wouldn't have or he would've missed so that's why the writers had him shoot Dorian instead, but mmmmmm no, I don't personally think so. I like to think that if he had taken the shot, his shaky hands would've caused him to shoot her fatally.
Mostly because I'm already so normal about the fact that of the Ericson crew, Marlon and Louis are the only ones with a body count. Well, that we know of, but shown to us in the game, at least. Plus, we know it's Louis' first kill.
Like yeah, Clementine and AJ become part of the crew and they have bigger body counts, and if we're counting indirect kills caused by actions, then Tenn has a count... and I guess everyone has blood on their hands for blowing up the boat... but I'm talking about killed directly with a weapon like....... I lied, I'm not normal about that at all, Louis and Marlon are the ones who have killed someone in Louis' route. I'm also not normal about the fact that Louis kills Dorian and then even as he's clearly in shock, he tries to go with Clementine to get AJ, and then later on when they talk about it, he says it feels like bile but not quite and he's glad he has it in him to do it.... listen, listen, listen... I'm obsessed with that.
Anyway, so if Louis shot Minerva, I think he would've accidentally killed her and can you imagine? He's already enough of a mess after killing the woman who pinned him down and tried to cut his finger off [or succeeded] but he knew Minerva, they were friends before the twins were taken. Even Violet couldn't kill her even though that would've been the smarter thing to do, and we know thanks to meta knowledge that killing her would've saved lives, but Violet couldn't, and I don't think Louis would intentionally either.
Speaking of Violet, if Louis killed Minerva, I hate to think about what that would've done to Vi. I think she might've actually left at that point, like what was planned before it got changed to her being burned. I don't think she would've attacked Louis over it, though, like yeah she attacked Clementine in the cell but Louis? I don't know, but I don't think so just because it's Louis and he'd be a mess about it anyway.
Though if he did kill her, it would be a neat parallel to draw... y'know, because Louis forgave AJ for killing Marlon even though he was pissed and heartbroken, and Violet was annoyed with him the entire time... but could she ever forgive Louis for killing Minerva? Y'know? We already have a similar parallel with AJ shooting Tenn, but still.
If Clementine killed Minerva in that moment, though, then I could see Violet attacking her since in her eyes, Clem proved her right.
So yeah, I get why they added the Dorian kill to his route. It adds another compelling element to Louis as a character, but we also need Minerva alive for episode 4; Louis can't kill her, he can't miss, and he's not going to stay with her because we need Violet to stay on the boat and him to be on shore for all routes.
