I love Monroe a lot like, he's a reformed blutbad, he probs used to be a bit of a bad guy, but meeting him you wouldn't ever know cuz he's a vegetarian clockmaker, who does pilates in the morning and wears cardigans and plaid button ups and drives around in a cute yellow bug volkswagen, can't forget his love for classical music and his talent at playing the cello, and then OFC there's his giant love for christmas. He will go all out in decorating the inside of his house. He has a big train set that takes up almost his entire living room during Christmas time.
Also pretty sure he has extensive knowledge on trains as well. Actually he has extensive knowledge on a lot of things, random things you probs wouldn't expect. Like he's just, I love him sm. Monroe is everything to me. 😭

Wesen Moodboards
Hexenbiest ♀ (German: Witch Beast)
Zauberbiest ♂ (German: Wizard Beast)
Hexenbiests and Zauberbiests are shown to be among the most powerful Wesen in the series due to their many powerful abilities. In their woged form, they also possess superhuman strength, able to casually overpower a grown man and rip him apart; they do not possess this strength in human form though.
They work at the command of royalty and are extremely loyal creatures, but they are only loyal to whomever they serve, as to others they are treacherous and manipulative, even to their own kind. Hexenbiests who are "created" are more deadly than normal Hexenbiests.
Notables: Adalind Schade, Sean Renard (half-zauberbiest), Diana Schade Renard (3/4 hexenbiest), Elizabeth Lascelles, Juliette Silverton/Eve, Conrad Bonaparte

Rewatching ‘Grimm’ because reasons, and like, I still cringe at how Juliette becoming a hexenbiest was plotted.
What if, when she revealed herself to Nick, instead of turning away from her, he kissed her, eyes wide open. If he reassured her that no matter what she was, he would be with her. That she’d changed in the process of saving him, and that he only cherished her the more for her sacrifice?
That she was no more of a monster than he was, and he couldn’t love her more or less for it?
... this would, of course, segueway to Adalind and Juliette reconciling with a great deal of violence, forming a kind of coven, and agreeing to share Nick and Sean. The boys are mildly terrified to learn the ladies have formed an alliance, but end up becoming the best protected (and best behaved) officers in the country under the watch of powerful witches. Hexenbiest and Grimm genetics work out so that the Burkhardt kids are one or the other, with a little extra oomph from some kind of synergistic effects of their genetics. And everyone lives happily ever after :D

For November I am going to highlight a different tea each day.
Day 26
This one is seasonal but today's tea is Happy Turtle Tea Kissed By A Hexenbiest, a Grimm inspired black tea blend. Only three ingredients but tastes so warm and comforting with hints of chestnut and candied walnuts.

I got my hair bleached with highlights after painfully growing it back to all natural and I’m not in love w it yet. I feel like it has aged me? On the downside, I feel like a granny. On the plus side, I feel like a hexenbiest eternally trapped in a half woge <3

Once upon a Grimm: (part 1) (part 2)❤️🩹💔 Summary: It took you time for your Wesen part to come out. You're alone since you can remember. You're a freak and freeze in rock every poor soul who sadly crosses your way until she hunts you and almost kills you but finally can't.

Nick and Eve have tender, angsty goodbye sex during their time in the Schwartzwald/Other Place. Nick asks Eve to show him her hexenbiest face at some point and kisses her while she's woged instead of shuddering away like he did when Juliette once asked if he could spend the rest of his life with her like that. Can be a happy AU ending where they get together, or stay angsty and canon compliant (Eve resolves not to return to their relationship).
Oh, this one.

Well, the actor who plays Adalind is the sole individual on this Earth with the qualification necessary to receive Hexen Knowledge. I'm not sure how to deliver it exactly, definitely not gonna deny her signature though.

Thinking about what Adalind actually DID, the fact that she ended up with Nick is extremely fucked up. There’s a laundry list of unethical shit she pulled, but let’s focus on something the show tends to gloss over:
Sleeping with Nick while pretending to be Juliette? The show doesn’t really seem to explore what a violation that was to Nick. Plot-wise, of course they were more interested in ‘Nick has lost his powers’, but the discussion of the emotional aspects of it seem more centered on Juliette’s response (and initial feelings of betrayal by Nick) than Nick’s.
It was ten years ago and Grimm has a very heteronormative paradigm. I’m not exactly surprised that they never use the words rape or non-consensual to discuss a woman obtaining sex from a man under false pretenses. But I still can’t get over that Nick was in any way able to warm up to Adalind after her betrayals and dishonesty. Based on (1) and the other things she managed to do when she didn’t have her powers? I really don’t think her being a Hexenbiest was the problem. Season V and VI read more as a manipulation of Nick into having feelings for her (and I’m not convinced she didn’t give him a love potion); other possibilities, including her ‘reforming’ due to motherhood and the suppression potion, feel a bit OOC.

AU where Nick and Adalind never happen but Nick still somehow ends up raising Diana. I worked way too hard on this.
