#so i woke up really early #and that was okay cos inwatched avs while i loaded the dishwasher and fed henry (cat not popstar) and washed my face and logged into work #four day weekends are so nice but my bosses emails ugh #i managed to have three meetings #one of which i had to contribute a lot to #and get a ministerial response completed while watching that utterly borked nucks match #and now i am having morning tea and feeling good #ive decided its not too late to plant sweet peas #i couldn't do it cos of surgery but look its still Autumn.. #and idk i just feel gd about this week #i am enjoying organising the house in a low pressure way and writing my fic and i see neil on wed #and it is mamas birthday on Saturday so on Friday my sisters and i will have dinner at a nice place by the harbour #near where she wants her ashes scattered under the bridge where you walk round the corner and see soh #and we'll talk about things she would have hated and things she would have loved since she died #and I'll cry into my sydney rock oysters and miss her #but im missing her as i stand in the kitchen typing this waiting for the kettle to boil so you know #silv rambles #sorry i just do this on whichever blog im using the most #block the silv rambles tag if its super annoying

Love how mad Mischa was that i dragged her to the vet once again that she kept rubbing her nose against the carrier backpack I carried her in and now she has a bright red booboo on the top her nose

#i have to carry her 1.6 km / 1 mile to the vet and then back and i guess she just felt like shredding her nose against the rubber grit #shhhh dont tell her that we're going back on friday to check on the inflammation #but shes feeling much better again! 😭🥹 i took this photo on the bench on the balcony where she begged for treats #and the soft treats are available again and i bought like 8 bags so we're good for at least a month or two #we just played and now shes begging for dinner and im so glad shes annoying again😭😭😭 #i cried so much the past weekend she wouldnt come out of my closet and would scream in a very weird voice when i tried to touch her #the vet was so nice to her she was like :3 mischa we're gonna be friends i tell you you secretly like me do you :3 #they we're so gentle and kind with her 😭 #they made her a little cave out of towels so shed feel better #and her liver is doing better too 😭 i was so afraid we fucked it up completely with the surgery and then the pain meds and the treats #hate to say it but this expensive vet is really worth it even if the surgery and appointments are like 2.6k euro #and back in 2018 sissys 3 day kidney dialysis stay was like... half of that

I think my favourite build is arcane! It’s the one that got me the platinum and I love messing around with the hunter’s tools. My favourite weapons move-set wise are Beast’s Embrace/Beast Claw and the Burial Blade. All Bloodborne weapons are good though- I believe this whole heartedly.

i've been sick now for over a month. between my kidneys and stomach i have been in constant pain and discomfort for more than a month straight. fuck. it's been some of the worst, most debilitating pain of my life. which says a lot coming from someone who has lived with chronic pain for the last eight years and had two throat surgeries last fall. everyone in my life is concerned and doing what they can for me, but they can't do much. i can't eat regularly, i have major problems accepting help from others, and i hate people seeing me unwell. so instead everyone just loves me as best they can with calls and kind notes. but when i say that i'm tired of being sick and don't want to do it anymore everyone acts like i'm crazy. would YOU be able to survive this shit without breaking?? sudden illness on top of chronic illness AND mental illness?! don't answer that it'd make me feel worse. i'm just trying to survive this. i am trying and trying and trying and trying and trying and in the end i am still just drained and defeated.

i know i sound like a classic bitch in crisis but i'm not. i'm getting more and more sick every year. i have to question what is worth fighting for and what isn't. i cannot spend my whole life being sick or recovering from being sick. i won't.

#okay so last year and the beginning of this year were an absolute nightmare #my mom's still hospitalised they changed her diagnosis three times #before they finally settled on a heart disease and shoved her into #surgery on friday #but she made it through and she's under medical supervision rn #and if everything goes well she'll be put into a rehab center soon #that's another one month stay though and i will have to juggle her everyday chores #ANYWAY #with my hospital stay and an ass full of diagnoses following that whole surgery ordeal and her #diagnoses and my sister living with me again and spiraling mentally for most of 2022 #it really was the year of testing my limits to the absolute max #but also the latest hospitalisation was a wakeup call to my family and they're finally starting to pull #their own weight again and it's just a relief to see it #i've started to focus on myself a little more and it feels good #it's just the exhaustion i can't deal with yet #i'm itching for a creative outlet though and i have many blorbo thoughts so #be prepared for somewhat of a return #i might just let the queue run out as a start #mutuals wave @ me

My great grandmother passed away last night. She was old, and very sick, and she lasted months longer than the doctors expected, but it's going to hit my father hard, esp because he just had (minor-ish) surgery and couldn't travel to see her before she passed / won't be able to make the funeral

#im not upset really. i barely knew her #shes technically my step great grandmother #but she was very dear to my father #since the only dad he ever knew was his stepdad and this is his stepdad's mon #mom* #she was so sick + dementia and Alzheimer's. but still hes gonna be so upset #guilty i am more distressed by the fact that im going to have to manage his moods #im already managing his shit bc surgery recovery #and my mother hates him #so im trying to keep everyonein a good mood #but be subtle bc they get upset if im obvious about it #and now im gonna have to be therapist again bc no one else is #its horrible and selfish of me i know #but my allergies are tearing a new one in my throat and palate #and it's friday. and i rlly just wanted to go home and nap in the sun or read more rote #or video games

Just had my first therapy session and I love my therapist!!

#my last therapist was uh. bad. so after her i vowed to never go to therapy again #but lately ive realized my head is kinda fucked and i need some help #so i talked to my psychiatrist and she recommended a therapist #and i saw her today! #she asked if i had any goals for transition or if i was happy where i am #i told her im oretty happy with my body and everything rn #she said 'i dont want to sound like im saying you have to transition. because transitioning isnt a requirement to be trans #but i want to let you know that if you ever change your mind and have a goal for transition. i can write notes for hormones and surgeries' #shes a treasure and i love her #im gonna go get a drink now #normally i dont like tea but yesterday i bought a raspberry green tea lemonade and it was amazing #and in 1.5 hours i have to go to work but its okay cuz its friday

#Friday the babygirls go in for surgeries #And the following days I'll have to watch them to make sure they're recovering well enough to be alone while I'm at work #I'll call in if 4 days aren't enough time. Work is whatever I care more about them being safe and healing well #Hopefully it gives me some time to rest too. Olive is notoriously very bad at recovering from surgery #Hope is extremely easy and just sleeps it off the whole time. Olive gets rambunctious #But she's older now. More than double in age since her last and first surgery. Maybe she'll be more adjusted to it #Hopefully. I really hope she chills it with the 'needing to pick out all my stitches while papa sleeps' thing #Not that she didn't wear a cone (and jammies) but she just WORMS out of even the smallest ones #She's also a bigger girl now. Maybe she won't worm out
