well anyway this is another reupload!! added kuni’s part also got lazy to proof read its just a headcanon anyway!!! i play wayy to much video games and id love to share my hobbies with these sweet babies <3

kazuha

i think this baby is a really chill gamer, he enjoys the cozy aspect of video games. thats why i think games like minecraft, stardew valley, animal crossing and the sims!! cozy video game dates are a norm for you guys when its too hot outside or too rainy.

imagine playing stardew valley with him, curled up under the covers with your MATCHING SWITCH CONSOLES. you guys working through the first few years of the game as little farm people doing little farm things. he’d even find some helpful guides online so you guys can maximise your finances in the game. honestly i can see how he gets a little petty at the fact that you MARRIED some npc in the game and he had to watch the whole cutscene while you joked around that he hadn’t given you enough attention and this was all his fault. now kazuha hates that particular npc, and he’s definitely pouting the whole night. give him lots of smooches, tell him that no video game code can replace your pookie wookie baby boy <3

but there, of course are other ways you can make up for it, like asking him to marry you- in animal crossing duh!! he’d take this whole thing very seriously obviously, its a wedding silly. he’d prepare a little wedding venue in his world by the beach, even going as far to design a cute little tux. it’s adorable, also don’t think for a second that he wouldn’t give you a kiss (giggling after) when the wedding officiant says you may now kiss. i also can picture kazuha buying you a promise ring irl , with a maple leaf engraved onto it. yes it was a animal crossing wedding, but it was YOUR WEDDING non the less.

another thing i can imagine is while you were playing the sims kazuha would 100% ask to create a little family with you. he’d even help to go “shopping” online for CC that would fit your characters or homes. kazuha DIES A LITTLE inside as you carefully curate each of the characters, spending hours deciding on the perfect outfits, hairs and personalities. coming up with mini fantasy stories about the mini yous and giggling along with him when they get a little too absurd. your cute family consists of you, kazuha and a little white cat. kazuha likes watching you get a little flustered whenever his character flirts with yours, sending a romantic haiku your way. not to mention the first time your character’s woohoo’ed he teasingly said:

“its honestly a shame that they’re the only ones that get to woohoo you know?”

anyway kazuha is 100% down to try as many games as he can with you, playing games with him is 10 bells out of 10 bells hehe

xiao

gamer xiao… yea he kinda scares me. xiao plays shooter games for sure, like obviously he’s had an eboy valorant phase but lets skip past that for now. its definitely more than normal to hear him grumbling how “dogshit” some of his teammates are. he’s definitely muted from chat on several games, also banned from league most of the time from being toxic in the chats.

playing competitive games with xiao is definitely an experience, and it definitely does not feel like the stereotypical pocket sage and hyper-carry jett. so please proceed with caution. the first time you and him played together, he may have gotten a little TOO HEATED and may have cussed you out on accident forgetting it was his loving, doting and caring partner who just wanted to participate in one of his hobbies. xiao doesn’t mean to get angry at you, please bare with him when the words “how is this person so fucking bad, how are they SO USELESS JUST GET OFF THE GAME DUDE” slip out. and oh boy… xiao immediately regrets his words, he feels so bad. he was actually overjoyed when you asked to play with him, even if he doesn’t actually show it, now he definitely assumes that you won’t ever want to play games with him EVER, hell maybe you want to break up. he’s spiralling. he apologises so much and he’s so awkward and so fidgety. its hard to stay mad at him, when he’s like this you have to admit he’s a little cutie. the next few days he’s definitely cautious and on edge around you, he finds it weird that you let go of the situation so easily and just moved on. he cant believe he let such vulgar words be thrown towards you. so after a conversation about his behaviour, you both decide maybe its best you just be an observer. you’re more than happy to straddle him, chin on his shoulder when he plays at his pc. and xiao LOVES IT, there is honestly nothing more comforting than you give him a little kiss when he starts to get a little too tense. occasionally when you face the screen and watch his games, he gets so nervous to play well. and xiao absolutely DIES when you compliment his abilities. bro needs the praise please, in that moment he thinks you’re so sexy and you have such a caring soul and his ears are tinted so red. don’t tease him though, he won’t be able to play the game properly.

another thing xiao is so weirdly good at is arcade games. i can picture arcade dates and xiao is just godly at them, claw machines, those basketball ones, car racing- you name it sweetheart and he’s earning those tickets like he needs to feed his 20 kids as a single dad. xiao acts so nonchalant about it, shrugging his shoulders as if this talent of his isn’t a big deal, but inside he’s so proud that he’s managed to get you that plushie he knows you’d been eyeing the whole day. he loves the way you grip onto his biceps pulling him to another machine to test his abilities, he may grumble about you overreacting but he’s so happy just to see you smile. and having you cheer him on the side is such an added bonus, you’re such a cute cheerleader. anyway i rate xiao a “please dont scold me baby im trying my best” out of “FUCK YOU FUCKING SUCK”

venti

horror games. literally venti HATES THEM but he cant get enough of it. playing phasmophobia would be so incredibly fun, but also a total shitshow. like im talking him making you do all the work while he intentionally provokes the ghost. at the same time he’s too scared to do anything so, he’s always really close to you. so if anything ever happens, you’d be a total idiot to think he’d try to help you, venti would be the first one out the door and running away. venti is also so horrendously LOUD, literally half the time instead of getting spooked by the game, your having a heart attack inducing jump scare from his random screaming. don’t even get me started on roblox horror games, every week there’s some new game he discovered on tiktok, and you are playing it with him, you have to.

another game venti loves to play is sims, but he’s about 100 times more chaotic compared to kazuha. he loves those ridiculous challenges and he wants to have like 10 babies with you, and then proceeds to cry when they are taken away from the sims version of cps. for some reason he has all the packs and likes to screw around with everything. he makes silly little bets with you in any game, for example in the sims he’d bet with you whether your 23rd child is going to be a boy or girl, most bets are harmless like a kiss or cuddles, unless he’s in the mood.

speaking of intimacy, venti needs to be holding you while playing games. arms linked, lying on your lap or you in his, honestly you just let him because he’s so cheeky about it anyway. venti also loves playing music related games with you, duh!! karaoke, guess the song, finish the lyric. ANYTHING!! whether you can sing or not, he just loves to hear your voice, definitely teases you if you cant though hehe. karaoke is so fun, if your shy he definitely eases you into letting lose and breaking out of your comfort zone, duetting with you is something he loves because music is his passion and honestly it hits so close to home for him. you’d often find him squeezing your hand as a form of encouragement.

im rating venti a solid 8 red bulls out of “i’ve already had 15”.

wanderer

this little emo baby is 100% only ever playing single player games, things that are extremely grindy and super lore heavy (bro is on subreddits looking at game theories and conspiracies, he would love to talk to you about them if you ever asked)!! im talking about bloodborne, doom, assassin’s creed and dark souls. he hates online multiplayer games because he doesn’t want to interact with “idiots” as he’s mentioned numerous times. so unfortunately its not often that you have a chance to play any type of multiplayer games with him.

however when it comes to his gaming sessions, he’d subtly invite you to come watch him because you’re like his own little streaming audience, and he loves it. the way you comment about how cool his character looks, or ask questions about gameplay mechanics. he loves how you involve yourself in his hobbies, it turns him to mush. he also loves how you play with his hair while peeking over his shoulder to look at the tv screen as he taps away at the controller. sometimes when the game gets a little boring he notices how your breath bounces off his neck, needless to say, those nights end up a bit more differently than how you originally imagined.

also if your ever interested in the game, kuni would “hesitantly” offer you to play on a new save file. but he’s actually elated that you’re going to try his FAVOURITE video game ever. you take your place in his lap as he explains to you the basics, not many would notice but you can ever so slightly hear the excitement in his voice. kuni complains about you being so lost but he’s so careful with explaining certain things, he’s also so patient as you take hours designing your character, well he’s okay being patient since its you. kuni absolutely DISSOLVES when facing a difficult boss, puzzle or obstacle, you kinda go into a slump against his chest and beg him to help you get past it. he snickers that your so weak, but somehow he manages to get through so swiftly- i guess he needs to show off a little to you. he also may complain a lot but thats just how this baby boy is, dont get discouraged he actually thinks you’re so cute.

also if you ever find yourself playing overcooked, moving out, gang beasts or any of those party games with kuni… good luck, just because he doesn’t like competitive games like valorant, DOES NOT MEAN HE ISNT COMPETITIVE. he gets so worked up and its honestly a little cute if you can look past the crusty white dog behaviour. if you do end up getting into an argument over these games, dont be surprised. im lazy to give a rating so im giving him 10/10, again minus the crusty white dog.

Heizou

"Ah yes Y/n! They are quite lovely don't you think? You know, the first time I met them something inside of me just knew they were my soulmate, and unsurprisingly I dreamed about them that night! “uh, hi. could i please get a…” you flash what you’re certain is the most awkward grin of your life at the poor barista, who’s currently running the cashier as well. you swear you’re never the type to hold up a queue, pondering for ages over what to drink to get – in fact, you always get the exact same drink. it’s just that the way the barista’s pretty amber eyes almost seem to gleam in the late afternoon sun has you stumbling over your words, barely able to form coherent sentences; it’s so embarrassing you wish the ground would open up and swallow you whole, you're lucky there's no one else in the line behind you.

“your usual?” he raises an eyebrow, a few strands of jade hair tumbling out of his loose bun to frame his face, and holy archons this man is such a masterpiece he belongs in a museum. you gape at him for a few seconds, opening and closing your mouth like a goldfish before you realise how stupid you must look and you scramble for a reply, “how do you know?!” the corner of his lips quirk up into what might be a smile, “you order the same drink every time.” you’re fumbling for a retort when he continues, “and you come here three times a day.” now you’re ninety-nine percent certain your face is on fire.

“that’s true…” you mutter sheepishly before making a valiant attempt to defend yourself, “but maybe i just really like coffee!” “i think you drink too much coffee,” he chuckles softly as he writes your name on the cup. you’re freaking out over the fact that what has to be the world’s cutest barista is actually aware of your existence, he recognises you instead of seeing you as just another customer from the endless throngs of students that flock to the campus coffee shop daily. then you gasp, “wait. how do you know my name?!” he lifts an eyebrow once more, “i just told you that you order coffee here three times a day. you say your name every time.” great. now he definitely thinks you’re an idiot. it’s not your fault that all your braincells seem to fly out of your head every time you see him!

“oh.” you laugh weakly as you pull your wallet out of your bag, “that makes sense.” mentally, you’re slamming your head against the wall, cursing yourself for being so head-over-heels that you can’t even carry a normal conversation with the barista. as he types your total, he suddenly murmurs so softly that you have to struggle to catch it, “it’s a pretty name, though.” “o-oh, you think so?” the compliment makes your brain short-circuit, but thankfully you manage a proper response, “i like your name too… xiao.” saying his name out loud almost makes you spontaneously burst into flames, which honestly would be pretty inconvenient for the rest of the customers in the coffee shop. not to mention you doubt it would endear you to xiao if you exploded in the middle of his workplace.

you aren't sure if it's just your imagination, but you think that xiao's ears look a little red as he taps on the screen in front of him. then he clears his throat, “you know what, today's drink is on the house.” “what?! really?!” your eyes light up and xiao meets your gaze for a split second before looking away, the faintest pink tinge dusting his cheeks as he starts making your drink, “yeah.” your heart's beating at a million miles per hour from just this small interaction, but you swallow your nerves and give yourself a pep talk as you wait to receive your drink. you never know unless you try, right?

and as xiao turns to give your drink, you blurt, “icouldtakeyououtonadate!” he blinks slowly, cat-like, and furrows his brow in confusion, “sorry, what did you say?” doing your best not to melt into a puddle on the ground, you mumble, “to make up for the free coffee, i could take you out to lunch or something.” there’s a pause, and you quickly continue, “only if you want to, of course!” you're cursing yourself for even daring to be so bold, there's no way he'd want to go out with a caffeine addict like you- “i'd like that.” his reply is so unexpected you look at him incredulously, “what?” “i said, i’d like to go for lunch with you,” now xiao's face is bright red, and he's gripping your coffee cup so tightly his knuckles are turning white.

at this point, you think that you could jump over the moon. “oh! that's great!” you beam, and xiao thinks that your smile is like the sun, “maybe sunday?” “sure,” he smiles, and it's the most adorable thing you've ever seen, “it's a date.” he turns away after saying that to hide his blush, and with the biggest, cheesiest grin on your face you reply, “yeah, it's a date.”

(and later when you finally drink your coffee, you realise xiao has scribbled his number on the side of the cup. maybe all this time you were crushing on the local barista, he was crushing on you too.)

wahhh i missed writing 🥹 i tried something new with this one, i usually prefer writing confident and flirty readers so i hope this is okay for a first time hehehe. hope you enjoyed! <3

"Hehe, I am never leaving!" You exclaimed, petting and giving all your attention that you could give to the cats that surrounded you.

You were visiting Liyue as you always did when you weren't busy with knight stuff. As a knight to the Knights of Favonius well a captain, you have a lot of duties on your plate and you can get them done with ease but that doesn't mean you overwork yourself with knightly stuff. You have a great relationship with work and play, taking care of yourself to keep yourself sane.

You decided to take leave for a bit with Master Jean's permission of course and used your time off to see Xiao in Liyue. You and the Mighty Yaksha had a strange relationship, you came to Liyue for the first time and you ran into the a Ruin Guard, you don't have a vision so you're lacking in that sort of power that's when Xiao came into the picture, saving you from the Ruin Guard.

The adeptus really intrigued you and being a curious knight you asked many questions and I mean a lot of questions. You didn't leave him alone and the small male found you annoying but you oddly fascinated him. So most of the time you spent in Liyue, you spent with Xiao.

And today was on of those days. One of the first times you and Xiao spent together you told him about your love for cats and you don't see too many in Mondstadt unless you went to the Cat's Tail which you don't go often since you usually don't have time to. So, Xiao decided to do something nice and took you to a place in Liyue where all the cats hang out.

Xiao has a weird habit of trying to make you smile. It made his heart beat quickly when you would but honestly he'd lie though his teeth when you ask him if he did this for you. Xiao would get embarrassed and tell you off saying "Of course not, mortal." But in reality he did.

"Xiao!" The yaksha had his arms crossed over his chest when turned his head to look at you when you called for him.

"What is it?" He asked.

"You did this for me, didn't you?" You asked with a smirk, having a cat in your arms

Xiao blushed red turning his head away from you smirking face. "Of course not, mortal. Don't be ridiculous." He growled.

"Sure. You totally don't listen to me when I talk." You said rolling your eyes with smile patting another cat on the head.

Xiao looked back at you as you sat in the middle a swarm of cats, giving them your undivided attention which made the adeptus slightly jealous and honestly he felt a little silly for feeling that way they're just cats not people, but that's another story.

The Mighty Yaksha scowled and he walked over towards you making the cats around you scatter as Xiao sat himself beside you. Both of your knees brushed against each other's and your shoulders side by side. You widened your eyes seeing Xiao sitting beside you a bit too close, it was a bit out of character for him and honestly you didn't mind.

Xiao's heartbeat quickened since you haven't said anything to him. He was relieved and scared at the same time.

"Xiao." He perked up at his name leaving your lips. He quickly looked over at you, your eyes meet, the next thing Xiao knew you picked up a cat near his face, making the cat's wet nose lightly press against his cheek. Xiao blushed as you pulled the cat away, a smile making its way onto your face.

"Thanks for taking me to a cat paradise." You said with the same smile on your face.

Xiao blinked a bit before a small smile appeared on his face. "Anytime."

notes: i come back from my holiday bearing xiao angst :D also, i have a fever. flores mortis (meaning “flowers of death” in latin) is an original curse that i came up with; the poem is also original. if you would like to use this as well, please credit me :) also, i used google translate so if it means something else entirely i deeply apologise :’) format kinda wonky

long ago, the vigilant yaksha had taken care of a child with the curse flores mortis, and he still mourns for them even after all these years. apparently, there’s a small altar at the highest room of wangshu inn, and the incense burns everyday.

xiao had taken this young child under his wings after learning that they were cursed to die at a young age. feeling indescribable pity for this mortal, he took them to reside with him on the mountains.

watching as the black, stemming veins spread across their body over time, his cold heart clenched tightly in his chest, causing his face to twist in an unreadable expression.

when he was not defending liyue from the onslaught of demons, he would be spending time in the small wooden shed he built, accompanying the child. his eyes would follow as he watched the child weave flower crowns out of qingxin and violetgrass he collected, and their gradual habit of folding paper cranes.

the child gazed at him wordlessly, before breaking into a small smile.

“the person making the wish needs to be the one who folds all 1000 paper cranes. besides, you’re busy protecting the people of liyue, aren’t you?”

xiao didn’t ask again.

a few months passed, and the black veins started crawling along the length of the child’s arms. their body became thinner, their eyes a little droopier, but their spirit still burning brighter than the flames of the pyro archon.

every morning before leaving, xiao would thread his nimble fingers through their hair, his calloused hands barely grazing their head. he would watch as they exhaled small puffs of air, chest rising and falling with a rhythmic pattern as they slept peacefully.

not too long after, the curse had already spread to their neck. the child’s breathing became laborious, and their hands shook as they folded their paper cranes. black flowers bloomed on their skin, painting the unblemished canvas with roses.

xiao sighed through his nose, watching them persist through the harsh storms of the curse wracking through their body. dissolving into countless green particles, he left to continue his job.

xiao was by their side in a moment. his footsteps thudded through the house, coming to a stop in front of the child’s bedroom. sliding the door open, his heart stopped.

sitting on the mattress, the child brought down the hands cupped over their mouth, revealing a crimson red patch covering their palm.

their time was almost up.

his eyes lost all colour, shoulders falling slack and his body collapsing onto his knees.

no, wait, you’re not done yet! you still have so much more to see, to do, to live! why must this happen? why must it be you? his hands clasped their smaller ones, bringing them to his lips. his heart screamed, begging for the gods above to grant his wish and save this young child.

“let’s hurry and finish those 1000 cranes. you said you were almost done, didn’t you?”

of course, the 1000 cranes story was just a myth. despite pouring their blood, sweat and tears into them, the child still passed away from the curse flores mortis.

their kind smile still shines brightly in xiao’s mind as he spilled the blood of monsters, day and night.

they did not deserve this fate. why had the gods above decided to curse this child with such a dreadful end?

these were a few words that came to mind when you thought of the solitary, ethereal man who sat on the railing of the inn's balcony with his chin on his knee and a leg dangling in the wind. he seemed much like a qingxin blooming high up on a cliff whose petals ruffled in the high breeze of midnight: far from reach yet visible enough to marvel in its beauty and bask in its sweet smell.

verr goldett had mentioned once in passing that his tongue favored sweetness—especially the sugary, melting flavor found embedded in bites of almond tofu.

so you went one evening, heart leaping in the ridged walls of your throat as you approached his usual spot with a plate of almond tofu gripped in your clammy hands.

his ichor eyes roved over you not unlike how you've seen millelith examine treasure hoarders: guarded, scrutinizing. nonetheless, he took the plate from you with a quiet gratitude and you watched from afar how his eyes fluttered at the sweetness of the dish and the candies you had placed around the rim of the plate.

you continued this routine until eventually one day he asked, "where is yours?" as you handed the plate to him. convinced, you asked smiley yanxiao to hand you a plate and felt your heart skip for joy in your chest, content just to be beside the young man who seemed to push away all of the world around him.

eventually you learned of him not just as the mysterious, handsome stranger on the balcony with a penchant for sweets and solitude, but as the revered yaksha, xiao. he referred to you as "mortal" no matter how much you tried to get him to parrot your name and scoffed at the crowns of silk flowers that you'd weave for him yet voice no objections when you placed them over top his soft, silky locks. eventually he repeated your name back to you, but it was under a full moon and uttered in the same line as a promise of devotion while his eyes consumed you wholly with feverish affection.

somehow you managed to tip toe around each other until eventually you slid your hand into his and it fit, albeit with its imperfections, and yet to you it felt no less than perfect.

along your path together, you found his eyes softening more and his fingers fumbling to match yours as you showed him how to weave delicate flowers into jewelry of all sorts. and just as the flowers weaved through each other, so you and he intertwined and became tangled in each other.

xiao held his chopsticks particularly, and though you often used to lightly tease him for such an unorthodox method, you found that your hands had one day had shifted so that now you also held your chopsticks in the same, weird manner that he did.

"i recall you saying that i held my chopsticks weird," it was impossible for him to hide the sliver of a smile on his face, "but it appears i'm not the only weird one here."

he often stretched like a cat; arms reaching up high and shoulder blades creasing and kissing in the middle before returning back to normal. a purring noise sometimes escaped past his throat, and you found yourself doing the same after a long days' work at the inn. "it seems you've been spending a lot of time around xiao." verr goldett giggled with a knowing look when seeing you with your fingertips to the sky, shoulder blades creasing and kissing in the middle and hearing the purr-like noise escape from your lips.

you soon noticed that the infamously reclusive yaksha slowly started to emerge from his cocoon. he caught you once singing a lovely tune to a bird that had perched itself on the railing, and not even a day later had you returned to the same spot and found him humming the same tune to a group of small, brown birds—one perched on his finger. he smiled just as you did but with a mirth found only within himself, and you smiled from afar.

before, xiao would pay little to no attention to the flowers he came across. after meeting you, however, and experiencing what softness and tenderness could be, he looked at flowers and felt your hands showing him to weave; saw your smile when he sat pliantly and let you dress him in silk flowers and qingxins. his duties long finished, he sat in the field of flowers and picked as many as he could, eager to return back to the balcony where you'd be singing birdsongs of homecoming and where his fingers would weave dainty crowns of flowers to place on your head.

Hu Tao says, you look down at your phone and find Venti's number, assuming you clicked on Venti's phone number, someone picked up. "Hello?" Said the voice in the other line, "Venti! Where are you right now?" You ask, Hu Tao looked at you and slightly smiled, "Oh! [name], I'm with Xiao right now, sorry if he isn't picking up any calls! He's currently asleep.'' Venti says, you sigh, "I see. Well, thanks for letting me know, Venti. Take care to the both of you." You say, "Thanks, [name]. You too." Venti says, "I'll call back if Xiao wakes up, I'm sure he has a lot of apologizing to do, huh?" Venti says, "Ha, yeah. He really does, but thanks, Venti.. I really do appreciate it." She says hugging you and pulling you closer. You sigh in relief knowing Hu Tao would be there for you all the time, "Now, I'll just give Venti a little call. I'll be right back!" Hu Tao says as she gets her phone, she goes outside your room and you can hear her voice through the room, enough just to hear mumbles though. After the conversation Hu Tao bursts open your door "I bought the plane tickets! And we're leaving next week!" She says excitedly, "That was quick.." You say, "The plane leaves at 8am, so we're leaving at around 4 - 5am, so we need to sleep and wake up early." Hu Tao informs you, "Tell that to yourself.. I wake up early." You say, "Haha.. good point, but yeah! Let's have fun before then." She says dragging you to archons knows where. Of course, she brought your dog with you, you two went to a cat cafe! Multiple cats went to you, in which you felt a lot of comfort. Your dog and Hu Tao watched outside because dogs weren't allowed. But after that you two went to a dog cafe! So that Hu Tao won't feel left out, ( and also she won't use all her money on you ), you two went to multiple places, as if you two wouldn't see each other the next day. But Hu Tao was serious when she said she'd do anything to see you smile, you helped Hu Tao go through hard times, when she couldn't afford tuition you were there to help her, you were there work a part time job with her so that she can earn extra. You even helped her create her business, without you, Hu Tao would have given up on her dreams. But she didn't, it's all because of you. Her sibling, her best friend. And she loves you, no matter who you are. As long as you are you, yourself.

"[Name]! Got everything packed?!" Hu Tao asks, "Yeah!" You say, Hu Tao went inside your room, "Ready for tomorrow?" She says as she closes your door, "Maybe..? I'm slightly nervous." You say, "Don't be nervous! Oh and, by the way, Venti should be expecting us at the airport. He'll be waiting!" Hu Tao informs you, you smile, "Thank you, Hu Tao." You say, Hu Tao looks at you lovingly, like how a mother would look at their new born child. "You're welcome, [name]." Hu Tao says as she hugs you, "Now c'mon, we've got a big day ahead of us." She says turning off the lights, you lay in bed as Hu Tao lays on the mattress beside you. "Good night, [name]." she says, "Good night Tao." You say back.

"[Name] wake up!" Hu Tao yells, you open your eyes and look at the time, "Hu Tao it's 4 in the morning, calm yourself you're gonna wake up the neighbors.." You say sitting up, "Yes I'm aware but get ready! We might be late!" She says, "Oh, right!" You say as you recall the information Hu Tao said earlier, "I forgot!" You say as you rush to the bathroom, "Well be quick!" You heard Hu Tao, You finished washing your face, brushing your teeth, and fixing your hair. You got out of the bathroom and saw Hu Tao, "Okay, so. I don't know how to drive a car, do you?" Hu Tao asks, "Oh yeah I do." you reply, "Oh thank the archons! I don't want to go on an Uber." Hu Tao says, "Fair, but I don't have a car." You say, "Oh." Hu Tao says as she stares blankly at you, "Uber it is.." You say, You both called an Uber, then it it arrived 20 minutes later. The car ride was silent as Hu Tao was glaring at the driver, a few minutes has passed and you both arrived.

Time check : 6 : 04 am.

"Alright, we arrived safely." Hu Tao says, "Yeah.. no shit, you were giving the poor driver a glare, poor dude was sweating." You say, "Good!" Hu Tao says before skipping in the airport, it was so early and yet the place is packed, you wonder if both of you would get in time. "Okay, first they'll scan our luggage, then uh what's next?" Hu Tao asks, you shrug, "I dunno." You say, "Let's just wait and see." you add, "Urgh the line is sooo long.. my legs are tired!" Hu Tao complains, you nervously laugh slightly bowing to other people as an indication of apologizing because Hu Tao is being too loud. "C'mon Hu Tao! It's out turn." You say putting your bag and luggages, Hu Tao follows, after both of your luggages were scanned, you two looked for the plane you both needed to board.

Time check : 6 : 38 am.

As you two were walking around you two found some food stalls, come to think of it, you two haven't ate anything yet, "Wanna get some food? My treat." You offer, "Sure! I just saw where our flight is, and we haven't ate since 4am, so a food break is what we need." Hu Tao says, "Where are we headed?" Hu Tao asks, "Just a normal fast food place. Order some fries, maybe some drinks." You say, "Ooh alright!" Hu Tao says excitedly, "Since I'm paying you order." You whisper, "Alright!" Hu Tao says, "Hi good morning!" Hu Tao greets the employee, "Hello and good morning!" The employee greets her back, "I would like...." after ordering, you two sat, Hu Tao just ordered a simple meal, burger, fries, and a drink, you ordered something similar as well. You both finish up eating quickly, it only took 10 minutes. Once both of you were done you both headed to the waiting area of the airport, "I hope the flight isn't delayed." You say looking out, "Right.." Hu Tao says, you both sat down and waited, "Hey [name], you wanna play a game?" Hu Tao asks, "Sure, what is it?" You ask, "It's a board game!" "Plane number 7 is now boarding, please board the plane. Again, plane number 7 is now boarding, please board the plane." Said the intercom, "Oh, that's our flight right?" Hu Tao says while she packs everything up, you help her pick up the pieces / cards. "Here." You say handing the items you picked up, "Thanks [name]!" She says, once she packed everything up you both stand up and go to the plane, you were walking a narrow hall, "Oooo this is so exciting!" Hu Tao whispers, "Agreed." You say smiling at her, you both see the flight attendant and hand your tickets to her, she nodded and began to lead you both to your seats, "Here are your seats." The flight attendant says, "Thank you!" You thank her, "Thank you ma'am!" Hu Tao says, the flight attendant nods and greatfully smiles at the both of you, "Oh lucky! You got the window seat." Hu Tao says, you chuckle, you can still look out." You say, "True." She says, "Everyone please buckle your seatbelts, the plane will now be preparing for flight." The pilot says, you buckled your seat and you saw Hu Tao struggling in the corner of your eye, you slightly chuckle to the sight, "Stop laughing [name]..! I actually need help.." Hu Tao says, you help her buckle her seat belt, "Phew! Thanks for that [name]." Hu Tao thanks you "No prob-" You got cut off by the loud noises caused by the plane, "Guess we have to stay quiet." you whisper to Hu Tao. Hu Tao nods.

Time check : 5 : 12 pm.

You stayed awake the entire flight, admiring the clouds, the beautiful sight of the morning sky. The way the rays of sunshine illuminate through the clouds, you wish you could see this everyday. You took a few photos of the scenery to show Xiao, you thought of him non stop at the flight, the flight was 9 hours long, so you did take a few naps. Although the flight may seem long, it only felt like minutes for you, maybe because you were nervous, or worried, or even scared. Hu Tao fell asleep most of the time on the flight, like 5 hours, the next 4 hours you two played some games, talked, and even draw on each others arm, Hu Tao brought a marker. Hu Tao drew a little ghost on your wrist and you drew a little butterfly on hers, "washable matching tattoos!" She whisper-yells, you let out a breathy laugh, "Everyone please buckle your seat belts, the plane is now preparing for landing." The pilot warns everyone, "Oh!" Hu Tao says, she looks at you and smiles, "Are you excited?" She asks, "A bit.." You say, "Venti's going to be here." Hu Tao says, "I know." You say, The plane was slowly landing until it fully landed. All of you landed safely, you and Hu Tao stood up to get your luggages, she got yours and got hers, "Thanks, Tao." you thank her, she smiles at you brightly, "Welcome!" She says, you both got down the plane and got inside the airport, "Woah.. this is one fancy airport." You say, you took a picture of the airport, outside and inside. "Aha! Look! It's Venti!" Hu Tao points out, you saw someone jumping and waving their hands like a lunatic, people were even looking at him weirdly. You laugh nervously to the sight, "Hey Venti." You say, "Hi [name]! Hi Hu Tao!" He greets the both of you, "By the way, there's a van that'll pick us up and drop us at the hospital!" Venti says, "Alright, make sure it isn't a sketchy driver though." Hu Tao says, "Don't worry! I've actually made friends with the driver." Venti assures her. "Good!" Hu Tao says, "C'mon, we can't keep the driver waiting!" Venti says as he takes Hu Tao's arm, you smile and walk with them, a few more minutes after walking, you two got in the van. The ride was also quiet, Venti probably woke up early, because he slept, or rather, the both of them slept. Maybe they're both full of energy, they eventually got tired, but the ride was short, so you had to wake them up, "Hey.. Sorry guys, I had to wake you up because we're here." You say, they both wake up, "Oh wait we're here?" Hu Tao says, "Yeah. Venti, could you lead us to Xiao's room?" You ask, "Sure!" He said, Venti opened the door and you see a hospital, a tall one, maybe around 10 or more floors ? The inside is extremely fancy, the group floor looks like an entrance to a hotel. "Come on, let's use the elevator." Venti says as he leads you two to the elevator, the hospital is 16 floors, and Xiao's room was at the 7th floor at room 117, you three got into the elevator and Venti pressed the button, "So, [name], how are you feeling right now ?" Venti asks you, "Uh slightly nervous.." You say, "Don't be, I'm sure he'll be happy once he sees you." Venti assures you, you sigh once the elevator dings signaling you guys have arrived "Alrighty! Xiao texted me at the airport that he's awake, but he doesn't know that you're coming, [name]." Venti says, all of you found Xiao's door and Venti knocked, "Xiao? Hu Tao's here along with someone else." Venti said as he enters the room, you saw Xiao sitting up and going through his phone, for some reason his arms are all bandaged, "Xiao? Ha! You look awful!" Hu Tao says, "Thanks, I know." He says looking up, you stayed by the door afraid to come inside, you finally stepped inside, and inside you let your head peek, and Xiao saw it. Xiao saw your hair, and the eyes he's been longingly to see, he was filled with guilt, he wanted to see you, yes, but he didn't expect for you to visit him instead, Xiao missed you so much, "[name]?" He calls out to you, you smile, finally hearing his voice. "Xiao." You call out to him softly, smiling to him comfortingly.

You turn to Venti and Hu Tao, "Thank you, the both of you." You say hugging them, "Awe c'mon now. We're supposed to be happy!" Venti says, you chuckle pulling out of the hug, "Oh right, I was planning on going out to buy some stuff. You guys want anything?" You ask, "No, not really, thank you [name]!" Hu Tao says, "Me too. Thank you for offering though!" Venti thanks you, "You, Xiao? You want anything?" You ask Xiao, Xiao shakes his head, "Alright. I'll go alone, see you guys later." You say waving the them, "Bye [name]! Be careful out there!" Venti says, you guys were at Inazuma, the beautiful buildings, the lantern shape like lights hanging from a restaurant, you were actually planning on buying them a little something, because they've all been with you since up and downs, Hu Tao, Venti, Xiao, the people you love and cherish the most. You planned on buying them a bracelet, or a necklace for Hu Tao because she normally wears long sleeved shirts. You wanted to buy something accordingly to the color they normally wear, for Venti, a sage green, for Hu Tao a red or orange one, for Xiao a dark green one mixed with black. Your family runs a business, and you yourself gain money from them as well, as a thank you for helping your family. So you could easily afford something for them, just something that isn't as expensive, like 1 million mora and above.. After walking, you found a jewelry shop nearby.

You went inside the jewelry shop, and you saw multiple beautiful jewelry, you looked around and you saw the exact things you are looking for, a dove for Venti, a butterfly for Hu Tao just like the one on your wrist, and the one for Xiao is a cute little turtle ( it's said in the internet that a turtle means freedom in china ), the turtle necklace didn't actually look like a turtle, it just had a shape of a turtle, at least that's what the person said. It was a mix of darn green, forest green, and black. You bought a necklace for Hu Tao, and a bracelet for Xiao and Venti, you bought a snack as well for everyone to eat. The walk back to the hospital was pretty long, you even found stalls that you didn't see on the way to the jewelry shop, you bought keychains for all of you to match, you ordered some drinks to deliever to the hospital, you got it at the entrance. You went up the elevator again and walk to the room. Once you've arrived to the room you opened the door, "[name]! Look's like you went on a shopping spree!" Venti says, "No, not really, not for me." You say handing the box to him, "What's this?" Venti asks, you hand Hu Tao her box and Xiao's his, "I hope you all like it." You say, "[name].. Awe! You bought us something so that we can match?" Venti asks, "Yeah! I got myself one too, see? A little flower that's surrounded by diamonds, and the center is gold." You show them, "How much was this?" Xiao asks, "Maybe around 700 thousand mora all in all." You say, "[Name].. You didn't have to spend this much on us." Xiao says, "I have more, by the way. I bought us drinks too, snacks, and dinner is on the way." You say while smiling. Once dinners arrives, Hu Tao and Venti stays in a corner, and you sat near Xiao, "How are you, Xiao?" You ask, "I'm doing well. How about you?" He says, "I'm doing nice as well." You say, "Well, eat up Xiao." You say, Xiao slightly smiles and nods. You all had a great dinner, and night fall arises, everyone needed to go to bed.

time skip!! Everyone had a great time with the weeks spent with each other. Everyone got to play games, talk to each other, tell stories, et cetera et cetera. But, things always end, don't they? You were walking from somewhere to the hospital, you bought the group some food, as you got inside the hospital, multiple people rushed to the elevator. There was only one elevator because the other one was broken and had been shut down, so you had to use the stairs, it'll take a long while to get up to the 7th floor. You finally reached the 7th floor, but then you remembered Xiao's room was far away from the stairs, "great. More walking again." You mumble to yourself, as you were walking you noticed multiple nurses came to your way rushing to wherever room they needed to go. But you wondered, why did they go to the same direction you're going? Then it hits you, the realization. They were headed to Xiao's room. After that, you rushed to Xiao's room to see Hu Tao and Venti waiting outside the door, Venti's eyes widen and holding onto Hu Tao, you can tell he was holding tears. "Venti, Hu Tao, what happened?!" You say out of breath, "it's Xiao.." Hu Tao says, "Archons please.." You hear Venti mumble, your tears started to form, "When we called the doctors something was wrong with Xiao.. The doctor said his illness got worse." Hu Tao says. Why? You thought he was getting better? He always seemed happy from the times you guys spent. You don't understand, why is this happening? After a while, you, Hu Tap, and Venti sat at the waiting area downstairs, the doctor said you two have to wait there. After archons knows long, the doctor finally shows up, though, his face expression doesn't look great. "Doctor!" Venti called out, "How is he?" - like childe, heizou would be a very talkative cat so he'd never shut up

- swats at random things

itto

- itto would be a maine coon

- a Large boy

- but despite being physically larger in size than most cats

- he is a big babie

- comes running for you whenever he gets startled by the smallest things :(

- not very bright but super sweet

- you know that trend where you hold a cat up against the wall and see if they're smart enough to stop themselves?

- yeah, itto doesn't pass that one

- his face just goes s m a s h into the wall 💥

- when he loafs, he doesn't just look like a loaf of bread 🍞🙅🏻‍♀️

- he looks like a whole ass bakery

kazuha

- kazu would be a white cat with reddish-orange eyes

- you know how some cats have very dilated pupils all the time?

- that's kazuha as a cat

- this feature just makes him look even cuter than he already is

- goes CRAZY over catnip 🍃

- definitely a lap cat

- just wants to cuddle and be held

- purrs a lot and makes biscuits on your lap

- jumps on your bed at night bc he wants to be closer to you 🥰

- loves giving head bonks too 🥹

- likes to sit by the windowsill and watch birds fly around in the backyard 🪟

scaramouche

- i can see scara as a grey tabby

- definitely used to be a stray cat, so he has his left ear tipped

- which gives him a menacing kinda look

- he is a little menace, after all

- hisses at everyone and everything

- people, dogs, squirrels, other cats, etc.

- likes to catch small bugs and spiders and torture them until they die 😼

- will not hesitate to scratch your eyes out with his murden mittens

- bites and clings onto your hand whenever you try to pet him

- and acts all innocent after you retract your hand??? 😇

- one day you decide to risk your life and start scratching under his chin

- at first, scara started clawing at your arm, but then after a few seconds you start to see his eyes kinda close

- as if he was saying, "hey this kinda feels nice......"

- scara eventually gives in and learns to love chin scratches 🤭

xiao

- black cat with golden eyes

- looks like a lil void

- especially when he's hiding in the dark and you see nothing but two big golden eyes staring back

- shy shy shy

- hides from strangers at first

- but warms up after he gets to know them better

- brings back dead animals he caught and drops them in front of you as a gift ❤️

- barely sleeps at night but keeps quiet so he doesn't disturb you

- in fact, he watches over you to make sure you're safe from any danger

- loves to sit in boxes 📦

- it gives him a sense of calm and security

zhongli

- i can see zhongli as a tuxedo cat

- he'd be a super senior cat

- since he is old asf 💯

- every time you take him to the vet, everyone there is amazed at how he is still alive

- his fur is kinda scruffy ngl

- and whiskers are crinkly

- but he is still a handsome kitty regardless 😌

- spends most of his time sleeping due to his age :(

- cleans himself pretty well 🧼🧽

- gets along with other cats, including childe surprsingly

I have uh, a really goofy cat, his name is parizival and we think he’s got a little brain damage. When you scare him, he scrambles in place for a few seconds before running and it’s kind of funny. He’s very jumpy and he doesn’t really have a sense of balance so the whole rules of cats always landing on their feet really don’t apply hehe, he always tried to walk off his weird landings though like “I meant to do that!”

Maybe… Xiao? I’m not certain he could though but I know he has adeptus spirit and such that may be able to help…~ 🌸

Startin this off, Bodyguard!Xiao would absolutely 100% be SO jealous if someone was to flirt with you well he'd be use to it since your famous but this person is particularly handsome????

Speaking of, i can see him leaving you gifts but never saying anything. Atp idk if I'm talking about Bodyguard!Xiao anymore but anyways!

He would sneak you gifts onto your desk, table, whatever is there he will put it there he wont say anything he's just gonna go "Oh, your welcome." If you say thank you Xiao. It could be for literally anything and he would still say your welcome.

He has so much potential for angst and i can feel it.

I can see Xiao as the kid who gets bullied for being academically smart but his other siblings are smarr and well versed in sports and activities. I CAN however see him get one friend. And this is purely for funny moments but Tartaglia would friend him unironically. I love the intorvert adopted by extrovert trope and those two fit that role well.

Hes so shocked he doesnt know what to do so he just goes with it. And now oh would you look at that Hu Tao is now taking him out for Boba and rambling about her favorite show. I can see Xiao not knowing anything about Boba, or just the outside world. His caregivers werent harsh on him, he just wanted to be seen by them like his older siblings :( he just wanted that validation. Know who gives it to him? Hu Tao and Childe.

"Xiao your so cool!" As he absolutely owns them in paintball?? Hes smiling so hard.

bodyguard!xiao gets a certain reputaion... he is a bloody good bodyguard, very protective of his clients and their privacy. you bet everyone wants him as their bodyguard (especially when he's handsome as well)

also the gifts... asdkfubhd- he will leave all his gifts at the places he knows you will see them, watching with a small smile how you eagerly open his gifts (sue him, you really look cute when you get all excited and happy about little things)

he will spoil tf out of you, gift you with the most lavish gifts, oh and if you like his cooking, yeah, well he will always cook a full ass menu for you, just to enjoy your blissful face when you take the first bite of his heavenly food.

okay, childe and xiao friendship. we love and we need this rn. xiao gets bullied by the jocks and it's acutally his elder siblings fault,,, because well,, they are a jock too and started teasing him. not many realize they are siblings, and since older sibling is quite popular, everyone else started teasing bullying him too. xiao swallows all the bitterness, not wanting to call his siblings out because he still loves them!! but sometimes... sometimes they don't realize he's hurting.

anti social!xiao. emo!xiao. introvert!xiao just... xiao. he is the weird loner of the school, but not quite?? like, he's smart and does so well in school and not to mention, he is handsome. not that many would admit that. but there was a time where xiao wore eyeliner before everything went downhill and some really miss those times... but they would never admit it.

he doesn't really have friends until childe comes along. and childe is a social butterfly. he is friends with the whole school but not really, he is outgoing, quite smart too and just funny to be around. he can be a jerk sometimes, but aren't we all sometimes too? he befriends xiao first for a selfish reason, hoping he would get a bit of quiet from all the noise in his life. but then he realizes how he enjoys xiao's company and sticks around.

later, when they're really thick and probably somthing like best friends, childe will admit that to xiao and they almost have a fallout

and when hu tao comes around? yeah well, prepare for chaos. childe and hu tao go along so well and you bet after a while, when Xiao feels comfortable enough, he will try and curb their chaos. not that he succeds.

hu tao still feels bad sometimes about how much she ruined from xiao's stuff, which is why she started spoiling him. she is well off, probably from a rich family, just like childe. they will spoil all the sadness and angst from xiao away

you bet hu tao is the reason why xiao now has a starbucks and bubble tea addiction this is how he meets other friends, on his own but that's for another time

yk what, with anti social and introvert xiao... gamer!xiao. what is he even doing the whole time in his room? yeah well, of course he studies, but he can't study the whole ass time and this is how he slowly became a gamer. not that many know that

but after hu tao and childe find out, you bet they will buy him a whole ass aesthetic streamer set up, even tho he doesn't stream but maybe in the future they want him happy, and all those little games make him happy. especially when he now can play with real friends, not only those people who he met online.

thanks to hu tao and childe he comes out of his shell, dressing up a bit (xiao has style. he just has a style not everyone would approve. war core/dark and tech wear. he has style and the clothes, just not the confidence wearing it) and even putting his eyeliner back on (you bet he suddenly becomes the crush of so many people)

hu tao and childe are confident people, and he somehow has to keep up. he finds his confidence once again (if we want to make this especially angsty, he was a very confident, if a bit silent child. but his family and all the teasing/bullying made him lose his confidence)

oh and if we want to create more plot, childe is a somewhat well known influencer and hu tao hops on that train too. it's easy for them to gain more followers and reach, and the extra money is certainly welcome. xiao ponders if he should start doing this too, but somehow... he's not really comfortable with that. he wants to do this in his own way. (que, xiao being the 'unreachable, mystery, but lovable and gorgeous influencer)

but he starts with streaming first, his fan base grows fast because,,, xiao is so calm, he loves all the games he plays and is so passionate about it!! he is an avid animal crossing player, always building and creating on his island and proudly showing it off to his viewers. they praise him and shower him with compliments, and he always gets all shy and blushy and you bet they will coo over him and only make things worse better

hu tao and childe just proudly show off xiao's achievements in their social media, talking about xiao and what an awesome friend he is, how smart he is and everything.

now i want cracked gamer!xiao, who looks nothing like it, but will absolutely destroy you in CoD, Val, LoL and all the other games. he is well known in the gamer community and you bet he has many admirers. okay but what about professional gamer!xiao-

okay okay, i got a bit distracted- but,,, SLEEP OVERS!!! yes omfg, yes, just yes. xiao loves energy drinks, but they get expensive if you drink so much like him. but with hu tao and childe as his walking wallets, nothing can stop his addiction. he has so much energy in this small body and childe loves to create more chaos and just gives him more. hu tao just giggling and filming all the chaos xiao creates (because that's so rare!! it's always her or childe) and never deleting it.

hhhh- all of them sleeping in these big ass beds hu tao and childe have, piling up and smacking each other while sleeping, but not caring. both hu tao and childe love cuddling, and xiao is always their victim. what if... touch starved!xiao

they would go to McDonalds at midnight, get like 60 chicken nuggest and 7 burgers, eat it on there or take the whole food with them home, talking and giggling the whole time and having to eat the food cold.

just the whole group dynamic with them would be so whole some and i'm here for it!!! like,,, AHHHH i mean come on!!!!
