During the first few days of your relationship with katsuki, you give him a quick kiss each time you're with him. But the thing is those kisses always land near but not on his lips— you're such a tease!
AHHHH BUT IMAGINE GOING TO HUG HIM GOODBYE WHEN HE’S WALKED YOU TO THE TRAIN STATION AFTER YOUR FIRST DATE.
So you reach up to hug him, like definitely not expecting a kiss on the first date but he turns his head to the side just as you go to kiss his cheek and your lips end up right on the corner of his.
And you’re flustered and apologising as your train pulls into the station, stepping onto it to try and disappear from the situation because you just almost kissed him on the first date (when he hasn’t even asked you for a second date!!).
So now he’s standing there watching you rush onto the train and he’s even more shy and nervous because he was going to ask you on a second date, and then that happened, and now he’s just thinking about how soft your lips felt against his skin.
I kinda love how the moment Leo got his dual wield katana back, he adapted so much more naturally to his teleportation abilities.
Not to say he didn’t come around with the odachi, but it was pretty clear that he struggled hard with the mystic properties of it, and I think that it’s partially because while the odachi itself is a portaling tool that seemingly most anyone can use, Leo’s innate mystic abilities call for something to work with him, not for him.
So it makes perfect sense why his katana, made from himself and more in line with how he naturally fights, finally allow him to seamlessly grasp his space warping abilities to the extent he can.
having a villain or monster f/o is amazing because they love every fucked up, wretched part of you. every flaw is endearing to them, and they’ll stand with you during healing. during the worst of it all.
for the self shippers with severe mental health struggles, personality disorders and whatnot…i see you. your f/o loves you even if you feel like a monster. they’re not scared of you and they’ll help you.
it does something incomprehensible to my little writer’s soul whenever alex articulates a phenomenon of the writing process i’ve always picked up on and then goes on to describe it in exactly the same way
