Hiya! For the writing promo how about something completely different? Stan being de-aged to a 10 years old kid and Ford to a 15 years old teen. Basically they stumbling upon a fountain of youth of sorts in their sea voyage but Stan fell in and Ford got splashed by it.

"Wh-what happened?" Stan lifted an arm, his much longer sleeves hanging limply to the wet ground, startling at his weirdly non-gravelly voice. Was it just him or did the forest appear much bigger than usual? He looked down at himself and gasped, he was practically swaddled by clothes that were much too big for him, threatening to leave him bare. Without warning, someone knelt down to him. Stan struggled to make out who it was until his six fingers were in view. Ford! But why was he bigger than him? They were twins!

"You fell into that fountain over there... the Fountain of Youth..." Ford quickly explained, trying to dry everything around them in an attempt to not become any younger, "I only got splashed, so the effects weren't as strong on me as it was to you. You look to be about... Ten? Eleven? I'm no good with ages..."

That would explain why he felt so small, and why Ford seemed older, but what were they to do? Their clothes didn't fit anymore! How were they supposed to explain this to their family? Could they reverse it? Ford noticed Stan's panic and was by his side faster than one could blink.

and that's all I wrote. I feel bad for abandoning it since, uh, July, but I ran out of ideas of where to take this and the motivation to write it. Have this snippet months later and I'm sorry.

i told my friend how interesting it is that Akechi appeared immediately after they defeated Yaldabaoth, while the other phantom thieves' wishes took until after the new year to manifest and my friend said "that probably means joker was thinking of akechi the entire time they were fighting yaldabaoth, wishing he was there with them" and im NOT OKAY ANYMORE

Has this been done as a poll yet?? Apologies if it has! It’s a very morbid one but it’s always been an incredibly divisive question and I’m curious.

Admittedly these are very simplistic answers. The reason being, whilst I acknowledge there’s more room for dimension of feeling there, I wanted to get to the basics of it if you like? Boiled down, when those charges against Anne were drawn up, did Henry honestly think they were true?

#it’s a difficult question #someone take one for the team and ouija board Henry lol #but anyway #a big part of this I guess is would Cromwell do it w/o the king’s permission/approval #he was clearly more than happy to construct the charges. that he was the architect is beyond doubt #but w/o henrys involvement or knowledge? I’m not so sure.. #have to say I’m convinced by MacCulloch’s suggestion that Anne and Thomas Did Not Get On #even if they worked together on aspects of the reformation his evidence is solid enough imo to support the idea they weren’t allies #(the reformation is where they found some common ground it seems? #they agreed on the poor laws he’d had drafted it looks like? #and both disliked and pushed back against the legislation that went through parliament re: monastic closure) #for example #but overall #seems they tried to work around each other for the most part. again elements of the reformation excepted #and that would presumably cause issues and conflicts of interest. #on top of any personality clashes etc. #but could that crystallise into a plot of that calibre absent of Henry’s involvement? #or his approval? #again.. not so sure #henry viii #anne boleyn #thomas cromwell #Tudor history #poll

You're supposed to have good reasons for killing off characters, right? Is "my best friend who made this character for our DnD game is now dead and writing the character without him feels like sacrilege" a good reason?
