Hades Oc: Chloe, Pomegranate Nymph & Head Gardener of the House of Hades

Chloe is the Head (only) gardener of the House of Hades and one of the few underworld nymphs in existence, specifically borne of a pomegranate tree.

Taking the form of a young girl, Chloe is soft-spoken and keeps to herself, content to carry out her gardening duties. She will indulge in light conversation with whomever approaches her (usually Zagreus) but will rarely initiate interactions.

Giving her nectar will prompt her to give Zagreus the Pom Parer, which would allow him to upgrade two boons of his choice once per floor when he gets a Pom of Power.

Completing her bond will earn Zagreus the Chthonic Companion, Pom Pom. Using this summon allows Chloe to plant spiny pomegranate shrubs on the field that can ensnare enemies and inflict chip damage. Completing her bond involves having the House contractor build a rooftop garden for her next to the training area. (Garden could also be used for "date" interactions with other characters, much to her chagrin.)

It would probably never come up but she is capable of fighting, her gardening sickle as her main weapon and a switch made of a thorny branch as her back up, as well as some magic with her pomegranate seeds.

The tree Chloe was born from was one accidentally planted by Persephone when she choked and coughed up a pomegranate seed she was eating and lodged into the grounds of the garden. Thanks to Persephone's power, it had the magic needed to spawn a nymph, making Chloe Persephone's daughter and Zagreus' half sibling on a technicality. However, Chloe formed long after Persephone left and thus no one seems to have made the connection; as far as anyone is concerned, Chloe just appeared in the garden one day and became their gardener, and she would prefer it to stay that way.

Relations:

Zagreus: One of the few members of the House she regularly speaks to. She respects him as her Prince but also considers him a friend. She has her own opinions on how the people of the house speak to and of him.

Hades: Respects him as a god and master. Her personal opinions are best remained unsaid.

Persephone: Has mixed feelings towards the queen of the Underworld. On one hand, Chloe's glad she has returned but on the other, the fact she ran away in the first place makes Chloe believe she is irresponsible and unreliable.

Skelly: Very pointedly tunes him out

Dusa: The mutual respect had for a fellow tender of the House.

Achilles: Likes his voice and how he calls her 'lass'.

Megaera: Doesn't get to speak to her often but admires her whip proficiency. Often practices similar moves in secret with a thorny branch.

Hypnos: Always seems to be sleeping when she sees him.

Thanatos: They sometimes exist in the same space in companionable silence.

Nyx: Greet each other respectfully when passing in halls and Chloe ensure that the flowers in Nyx's corner are always fresh.

Charon: Business partners, they have a shared side hustle involving Pomegranate Wine being "exported" to the surface. Hades does not know of this.

Max Bond: I was never fond of the way that... certain members of this House spoke to you, or of you. It seemed so unfair when you had done nothing to deserve it beyond just not being what they wanted. As just a gardener, there was never anything I could do to help but for what it's worth; I was always on your side, Prince.

Pocketwatch theory;

Okay, I know this is DEFINITELY isn't true but I have a funny theory about Ulyana and this little Hook character based on the wiki saying Ulyana is Uma's sister rn.

What if after d3 Harry and Uma just find two random street kids that look vaguely like them, and decide to take them in. And then they just gaslight their parents into thinking that they've always had a younger brother/sister.

It would explain why Ulyana wasn't mentioned in d2 if she was actually Uma's sister and why this kid is called Hook.

Bonus points if Harry looked James straight in the eye and just said 'his name is Hook. Just Hook' when asked what the kids' name was.

And if he and Uma and their crew all just play dumb whenever someone asks about them.

Like 'what do you mean? Harry's always had a brother!'

Or 'Uma's always had a sister! What are you talking about?'

This is also assuming that they're like 8 years younger roughly.

If Hades raised Bianca and Nico and took them to camp later-er

Bianca's Hair

Bianca's hair means a lot to her.

She's often told by everyone that she looks like her mother. And whenever Nico misses their Mama, he would go to Bianca and seek comfort because she reminded him of her because Nico was too young to remember what she looked like.

Bianca has vivid memories of their mother brushing her hair and styling it. Which is why Bianca's very protective of her hair; it's the last thing her mother had done for her and it was her favorite memory of her. It reminded her of something that was only between the two of them.

She used to decline Persephone whenever she offered to help her with her hair. As much as she loved and adored her, it wasn't the same as her mother.

Bianca froze at the sound of the snip of scissors

"There! Fixed!" The girl behind her, Chloe, exclaimed, unaware of what she had just done.

Bianca was having trouble detangling her hair again and it was worse than most. After failing, she gave up and asked one of her co-hunters to help her out.

Bianca turned around and looked at the girl and saw how much of her hair she had cut off. She looked at the chunk of hair then back at Chloe.

"Hey, I'm ba-" Thalia came in and locked eyes with them. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" She exclaimed.

"W-well her hair was really messy again so I helped her out" Chloe explained. "So you cut it off?! Did you even bother asking her if she was okay with it?!" Thalia yelled, marching towards them.

"She asked for my help"

"I asked you to help me detangle my hair. When I said to do whatever it took, I meant to pull really hard!" Bianca cried. She felt a somewhat familiar feeling in her stomach as she looked at the section of where Chloe cut. From the waist (almost hip) length she had, it had been cut to only reach midtorso. She wanted to scream and shout.

"You always had trouble fixing it, so, I thought that maybe I could help you out. I mean, even during quests, your hair always gets in the way"

Both Thalia and Bianca looked at her. "Excuse me?" She said it like she was being polite but you could hear how much she heard what the girl said and took offense.

"Your hair is always a mess, it's too long, it makes you look like you have a mop on your head and you always braid it wrong." Chloe listed.

"Chloe! What the hell?!" Thalia shouted. "I only did what was for the better. Bianca, trust me, this is for the best" Chloe said.

Bianca didn't know what came over her as she stormed out of the cabin. The moment she bursted the doors open, she saw black thorny vines creeping onto the cabin. They wrapped around the pillars, crept towards the entrance, climbed up the walls; they were everywhere. The violet veins that crept inside the vines and roots glowed. She stepped back at the sight of it.

Then she heard Thalia and Chloe coming up behind her and seeing what she did.

Thalia stared before grabbing Bianca's wrist and dragging her to the Aphrodite Cabin.

"Wait, Thal-" the older pushed the door open and bursted into the room, shocking the residents. "Any of you guys know how to fix this?" She points to Bianca. Still stunned (both by the door and Thalia's audacity), they just stared. Then Silena stood up and walked over to them.

"What happened?" She asked. "Something happened with one of the co-hunters and now her hair is ruined" Thalia explained. Bianca narrowed her eyes at her. It wasn't that simple.

Silena raised a hand to touch her hair but Bianca flinched away. The daughter of Aphrodite tried again and when Bianca didn't flinch away, she ran her fingers on her hair and examined it.

"That was a lot of hair." She remarked. Bianca blushed abd looked away. "I guess we can fix it. I'm guessing you want it to be as long as possible?" Silena smiled. "Yes, please!" The younger replied almost immediately.

"We'll see what we can do"

Thalia groaned. "Good. Now once you're done, you can clean up the mess you made of the cabin. For now, just calm down and trust them. I'll deal with Chloe"

another thing that i hate about the ROR designs is that for all the young villains-they all look-modern-everyone is designed to be in the same era when thats not the case! if Chloe and Red go back in the past when their parents/the villains were teens-it should be like-the 80s at the very LEAST!!! like half of those fukin villains shouldnt be in school together anyway becuase HADES IS A 1000+ YEAR OLD GOD FROM THE OLD GREEK AGE, Maleficent is like-from the middle ages!!!! they shouldn't be teens together, and oh FG WAS AN OLD LADY WHEN SHE MET CINDERELLAAAAA at the very least, if you're going to put time travel in a movie, DESIGN UR OUTFITS APPROPRIATELY. the teen villains all look like teens of the 2020s! they should look, older than that!
