it's definitely a very weird lyric and surely there was a much better way to convey the message lol but in context of the whole verse/song she's basically saying there's no fun in living in the past and being nostalgic, how we shouldn't look back on the past so fondly as it glosses over the hard realities. my brain isn't wording it correctly but it makes a bit more sense in context. still a weird way to execute it though
