Part one

Third year au

Tobio was in a very foul mood. It was just very obvious. He frowned more and didn't talk much. He ignored Hinata's endless blabbering.

The first years became all fidgety and even Tadashi started getting concerned.

"Hey Kageyama, are you alright ?", He asked worriedly.

"Mind your business!" Kageyama snapped.

The gym fell quiet. Tsukishima opened his mouth to insult him but coach Ukai spoke before him.

"Kageyama, you do not talk to your captain like that! Go out at once and take a walk. Come back once you've reflected on your behaviour. The rest of you, back to practice."

Kageyama stormed off, throwing the ball at the wall. And Tsukishima stared in disbelief.

"He must be going through something. He's been like that the whole week. You better not egg him on, Tsukki." Yamaguchi spoke up, still looking worried.

He didn't mind Kageyama's outburst as much as Tsukishima did.

Without bothering to follow Tadashi's advice, Tsukishima taunted Kageyama for the rest of the practice.

"As punishment instead of Yamaguchi, Kageyama will clean the gym. Who else was there with Yamaguchi ?" Coach Ukai announced.

"That would unluckily be me."

Almost instantly Kageyama groaned. He immediately knew who the snarky voice belonged to.

"Are we sure we should leave them together ?" Hinata asked his boyfriend, who sighed.

"Coach's words. We might find a dead body here tomorrow." Yamaguchi whispered.

LATER

"Is his highness too tired ? Should the commoner do all the work ?"

Something in his gut told Tsukishima that he had taunted Kageyama enough. And he should probably stop.

He was right.

Kageyama first glared at him. Then he took three deep breaths and walked towards him. He walked so calmly that it made Kei uneasy.

Almost unconsciously Kei, moved behind till he hit the wall. Kageyama caged him in and stared at him.

A minute passed and Tsukishima totally froze. He didn't realise what was happening or how he should react to this situation. He became hyper aware of Kageyama's muscular arms surrounding him.

"You're all quiet now." Kageyama spoke suddenly, his voice turning deep.

And Tsukishima couldn't say a single word. Kageyama was so fuxking close. He was pretty as hell. Kei always did admire the setter's skill but has never once been this close to his face.

And goddamn. He was handsome. So much that Kei wished he had noticed it sooner.

"Hey, you've been bothering me all day. Now that I'm up close, what's the matter?" Tobio's voice just sounded so fucking sexy to him that he just moved his eyes down to his mouth.

Fuxk

That was the biggest mistake Kei made in his life.

Kageyama's lips were slightly parted and God they looked so fuxking soft and pink and just kissable.

"My eyes are up here, bean pole." Tobio just sounded amused this time. As if wondering why Tsukishima Kei of all people was staring at his lips and not uttering a word.

"Do you want me to kiss you?" Kageyama asked after a second. He mostly said it to get a reaction out of the blocker but a part of him hoped for something more.

Kei panicked almost instantly at the word kiss and Kageyama laughed.

"You won't talk to me as if you've lost your voice and you keep staring at me. Do you like me ?" It sounded like Tobio wished Kei would say yes.

It was a question Kei asked himself the minute he found Tobio handsome. He nodded in the most awkward way possible which Kageyama found adorable.

"Oh that's great. I like you too. Can I kiss you ?"

Kei replied by caressing his face softly. He stared at his eyes while slowly lowering himself to touch Tobio's lips. It was light peck and Kageyama was not having it.

"That's not a kiss, Kei."

Fuxk.

Did his name ever sound that sexy ?

Tobio grabbed his face and slowly smirked his way into a proper french kiss.

"They're soft." Kei mumbled.

"What ?" Tobio asked confused.

"Your lips.... they're soft." Kei was feeling drunk. He was mumbling nonsense. He felt weird. The guy in front of him was his teammate who was covered in sweat and all kinds of gross bodily fluid yet all Kei wanted at that moment was to kiss him.

"Hah."

Tobio closed his eyes trying his best to control himself.

"Do you want to sleep over at my place ?" He asked after two minutes of admiring Kei and trying not to pounce on him.

"What ? Isn't that too fast ?" Kei finally felt like he was in his senses. He looked so flabbergasted that Tobio chuckled and kissed his cheek.

"We're just gonna sleep, idiot. And I have someone picking me up today. We're both tired so let's just go at mine."

"Okay." The only reason Kei agreed was probably because of the whole kiss thing and how much energy that zapped out of him.

OUTSIDE

A limousine stood outside the gates of the school and Tobio gave a big sigh before dragging Kei with him.

An old man dressed in butler like clothes stepped out and greeted Kageyama

"Young master, do we have a guest tonight ?"

Kei looked at Tobio in disbelief. He knew the setter was rich but not rich enough to have a freaking butler.

"No need for any of that nonsense please. He'll be sleeping in my room. Give him a phone."

After calling home, Kei almost immediately hissed at Kageyama.

"How rich are you ? Young master ? And why am I sleeping in your room ?"

"Calm down kitten. I'm not that rich. Also you just kissed me awhile ago. You won't take responsibility for that ?" Tobio teased enjoying the red that spread across Kei's face.

"You were the one with your tongue down my throat." He snapped

Aone 1 Year 2 Months Into Crushing On You And Having a Funny Conversation with Kenji, Koganegawa and Katana 💵👮

“Hey! Futakuchi and his friends! Wait up!”

While on the way to volleyball practice, Aone, Kenji & Kanji heard a distant female voice from behind calling them.

The three tall boys turned around, seeing an out-of-breath Katana trying to catch up with them from 20 meters away.

To Aone’s right, Kenji sighed.

“Here we go, He murmured under his breath in annoyance.

Kenji was convinced that he should sign up for the Date Tech talent show and claim that his talent is collecting clingy exes. He wouldn’t even have asked clingy-Katana out if his white-haired best friend didn’t have it crazy bad for her best friend.

Aone grunted and Kanji’s eyes were just wide because the popular cheer captain of the school knew him as Futakuchi’s friend!!!!

“Hi-hi-“ Koganegawa started when she was still way too far away, but Kenji warned him:

“Do not speak again. You’ve already proven you can’t get your shit together around hot cheerleaders and if you don’t want them to label you as the weird first-year for life I suggest you quiet down now.”

Agreeing, Koganegawa shut his mouth and nodded.

Katana finally reached the three giants, taking a moment to catch her breath and fix her hair as she looked up at them.

“Whoa, you guys are huge.”

Kenji nodded nonchalantly. “You needed me?”

“Oh, uh, yeah. I just left a cheer meeting with Y/N and...”

Aone went on alert to the sound of his crushes name. The two volleyball boys on either side of him felt his cringe and looked at Aone quickly, then back at the cheer captain.

“.....in the meeting we realized we raised way more than we hoped, which is awesome because we can get a more expensive bus and a better hotel and stuff but....”

your best friend was blabbing on, and Kenji was rather annoyed by her it.

“—I don’t want to interrupt, Katana.... but could you maybe hurry it up? We have practice in 10 minutes and we have to run laps if we’re late just like the cheerleaders—“

“Oops! I totally get it. Sorry. Basically I just wanted to say that we calculated our donations and sent out thank you baskets to our highest donors and well....since you’re the captain of Date Tech’s boys volleyball team—I thought I’d ask you directly if your team would even want a gift basket or maybe something else?” She winked at Kenji flirtatiously.

Girl-crazy Koganegawa’s mind went to very dirty places. “Something else??? Something else like what—“

Kenji reaches his arm out to pound his first-year in the chest so that he would stop talking. As Koganegawa coughed, Kenji furrowed his brows at Katana, addled.

“Huh? Why would WE get a gift basket?”

Katana tilted her head, addled as well. “Well.......your team did donate $1,000 (106,128.50 yen) to our fundraiser, which was one of our biggest single donations so—“

“Oh WE DID?” Kenji’s eyes were wide like Bokuto’s an owls when he heard the amount donated. He was trying to contain his big smile from breaking out as he nudged a very frozen and very guilty mountain man next to him.

Katana didn’t understand why Kenji was so surprised with something he did himself.

“Uh............yeah.”

She looked at the faces of all 3 boys, Kenji’s looking amused and suspecting, the hot blonde in the middle looking angry but shaken, and the one with 3 brown spikes in his yellow hair was staring at her boobs.

Katana snapped her fingers in front of his face and Koganegawa looked back into the cheer captains menacing glare.

Futakuchi tried to steer the attention away from his setter who was stupidly playing with fire.

“Katana,”

“Hm?” She smiled at the handsome volleyball captain.

“No gift basket. Thanks for asking. You guys can just cheer extra loud for us at the next game you come to. Okay? That’s thanks enough.” Kenji smiled sweetly.

Katana giggled in return, melting under Futakuchi‘s smile.

“Alright! Sure thing!! Thanks a lot by the way. The cheer team will have the best trip ever and we owe a lot of thanks to your team!” Forgetting the blushing first year on the end that she was going to rip apart, Katana bounced away happily.

Aone turned and started walking briskly to the gym.

“We’re going to be late.” He stated simply, training his eyes forward.

The two teammates caught up with him, sandwiching him as they walk.

“Aone Takanobu. You gave that team of bimbo’s 106,000 yen?! And tried to hide it from me—your best friend?!”

Kanji set a hand on his middle blockers shoulder. “Takanobu-senpai. You are whipped, dude!”

Kenji continued. “Look. I know your monthly allowance is twice what you donated to them, but, you can’t just give Y/N 106,000 yen!”

Aone growled in defence. “I didn’t. I gave it to the struggling Date Tech cheer team—“

“Oh cut the shit, Takanobu-san. You wanted Y/N to have a good trip 🙄”

Aone nodded tightly. “I will admit that is a large part of my donation, indeed. But—“

“—Aone senpai, you even disguised it as a donation from all of us? You’re so smart! That way Y/N won’t peg you as a creepy stalkerish guy. That’s like—“ Koganegawa paused, his eyes lighting up. “Wait. If you said it’s from all of us, then that means your donation might work in my ‘date me’ favour with the cute first-year cheerleaders......!” He sported a shit eating grin.

Turning the corner before the other two, Kenji called over to the underclassmen. “Kanji. I do think the 1st year cheerleaders will love you for this, but DIDN’T you already donate to them individually?”

Kanji gasped as he internally cringed. “Shit, I forgot!” He exclaimed. “I did! On three separate occasions 😱!”

Aone shrugged. “That is not my problem, Koganegawa-san.”

“No shit it isn’t your fault...... but I mean I wouldn’t have given them 32,000 yen if I knew you were donating 106,000 on the teams behalf! My allowance is only 43, 000 yen a month!!!”

On the other side of Aone, Kenji smirked. “You still would have done it even if you knew..... big boned setter 😑.” The captain rolled his eyes. It served his underclassman right to let the cheerleaders take advantage of him even though Kenji warned the whole team not to fall for it!. “You’re powerless around hot girls all the time, let alone ones that ask you for help when dressed as sexy mermaids, genies, or cats.”

“Actually, it was just the cop.....” He admitted shamefully. Looking at the ground as he walked, shaking his head. “She just asked me three times and I couldn’t say no.” He bowed his head in embarrassment.

Throwing his head back, Aone let out a loud hearty laugh as the three members of the Iron Wall entered their team’s locker room just in time. Kenji held the door open for his upperclassmen, a little in awe because a laugh from the mountain man was a huge rarity!

“So thaaat’s why you asked me to spot you for lunch!” Kenji laughed too, ruffling the hair of the blushing boy who he now considered to be a little brother.

Aone ruffled his hair too as he walked through the door Kanji held open. “At least I’m not whipped for the entire team, only one girl.” Takanobu teased.

“Oh, fuck you guys.” Grumbled Koganegawa as he fixed his hair that they just attempted to ruin. He was pouting. “You guys are the worst senpai’s ever.”

You, 1 year And 6 months Into Being A Losty and hear of Aone for the first time? 🙄⏱

“Hey guys, so how much did we raise at the Halloween fundraiser again?”

You called as Katana and yourself left your kitchen to meet all of the pyjama-clad cheerleaders in your den.

You still couldn’t believe that you guys were even able to call it a fundraiser!

As Cheer captain, Katana literally just told the team to wear cute and sexy Halloween costumes every day the week of Halloween in random places like the malls, outside of the grocery stores, the school field...make a few flyers, set up tables with a sign saying CHEERLEADING FUNDRAISER🤸‍♂️ and that’s that. The team gave nothing in return, Katana just told everyone to ask boys everyone but mostly boys politely for donations.

Surprisingly, it worked very well!

Since all of Date Tech’s stupid school funding went to the major sports teams, and your team used the leftover budget on the new uniforms, you had no money for Regionals. Each member was able to pay for most things but travel was too much. The team needed $3,500 to pay for the coach bus to and from regionals.... but they ended up raising around....

“Just over 7K (USD).” Responded one of the cheerleaders as she braided another’s hair.

Katana smiled. “I’m so proud of you girls!”

Kusa, the vice captain nodded as she dug into the s’mores. “Personally, I’m just happy that we got such huge donations from the hottest guys in school!”

Lost, you sat down on the couch and widened your eyes. “We did???”

Katana rolled her eyes at you. “Don’t act surprised, Y/N. You raised the most money....” Katana started clapping for you and the entire team joined in, congratulating you.

Your jaw dropped under the attention you didn’t ask for. “Shut up, Katana! Guys, really—“

“That’s awesome, Y/N! But I mean you did look amazing as a genie! You made me want to donate!” Kusa smiled, shaking your knee encouragingly. “Did any boy even say no to you??”

You looked down and played with your fingers. “Well, no, but...”

Kusa gasped. “Wait. Was it you who got the volleyball team to donate 106 000 yen?!”

The room silenced in anticipation.

“No! I didn’t—maybe Justin Bieber look-a like did it because he wants to get back with Katana I don’t know.....”

Katana scoffed before blowing on her toenails that she started painting.

“Nah. He doesn’t want me back....yet. But he will. That team did it on their own. Without anyone even asking.”

“Either way, they are so hot and they must like our team!!” Kusa squealed, and the other cheerleaders murmured excitedly in agreement.

“Especially Aone Takanobu!” One of them added.

Remembering that you heard that name before, but you forget where, you looked at your teammate. “Who?”

“Only the hottest blonde at the school! He’s in your year. Don’t tell me he’s on the long list of guys you don’t notice, Y/N.”

You covered your face as the girls collectively booooooooooo-ed you, throwing popcorn and pillows at your body jokingly. You giggled and shielded yourself.

“I’m sorry! I have no idea who he is!”

“You don’t know anybody. I swear you’d forget us if we somehow were kicked off this team. Just know that he’s gorgeous. Super tall, really serious and silent, one of the best on the volleyball team........ but most importantly................he has washboard abs. Total hottie.” Kusa explained and the rest of the cheerleaders fanned themselves as she did and pretended to faint.

“Maybe one day I’ll meet him.” You laughed, catching the base who pretended to faint in your lap. You tickled her side.

Uninterested in the conversation because it wasn’t about her favourite Dateteko volleyball boy, Katana took the reigns of the conversation again. “By the way Kusa. I think it was you who convinced the volleyball team to donate so much!”

“What?! Why me?”

“Well, I saw that giant first-year starter donate 3 times to the donation table after you spoke to him. You know the only with the three brunette antennas???”

Kusa blushed furiously. “Oh my God, I didn’t want him to donate three times! The first time I asked and he did, but the other times I just said hi to him because I kept running into him and then he just blurted out that he’d love to donate more money!! Geez, I kind of think he thought I was a real cop or something and that he would go to jail if he didn’t donate.”

You and the team bursted out in laughter until your stomachs hurt, exchanging all of the amusing stories from this fundraiser all night long.

1 year 11 months into Aone Crushing On You and Kenji Tries To Ship Him With Someone Else 📲💔

“Hey man, look. She’s pretty like Y/N and she’s a cheerleader too. She goes to Karasuno where that short ginger you like goes.”

Aone shrugged his shoulders, trying his best to study in the library. He ignored the Instagram page link Kenji texted to him.

“Will you at least answer her dm? That ginger told me she’s like obsessed with you ever since we last went over there.”

Aone shrugged again.

That was the wrong girl obsessed with him. “Maybe.”

Futakuchi sighed, wishing he could take the pain away from his best friend.

Ever since Aone realized that the girl he loves likes doesn’t even know who he is, he has been in somewhat of a slump.

There have been no more extraordinary games, even if Y/N was there cheering because Aone knew that even if he played extraordinarily well, you’d still probably ask the teacher who he was.......

he thought about that everyday.

Aone’s shoulders slumped a bit at the thought and Kenji noticed.

Aone just didn’t understand how he could like you this much when you two haven’t even had a conversation yet. He guessed it was because he knows almost everything about since you literally expose all of your business in class when Aone is listening. He knows your likes, dislikes, your hobbies, your fears, your favourite foods, etc. Every time he hears you he falls a little bit more because you were so perfect, not to mention pretty.

So, so pretty.

That’s why Kenji has been trying to steer his attention away from you and onto the many girls who do notice Aone, the ones who wish they were riding his dick every night.

“If not the Karasuno chick what about this other girl from Inarizaki? The distance is further so she won’t expect as much face-to-face time but she really wants to meet you.”

“No thank you, Kenji-chan.”

Kenji frowned, watching Aone stare at the same page in his textbook in sorrow.

“Ok well........,..There are a lot of girls on our Date Tech cheer team who are interested.....” Kenji suggested quietly, trying to pull any emotion from him to know he’s still alive.

Aone looked away from his textbook for the first time since they’ve sat down, meeting his brunette friend’s eyes.

“Why would I want Y/N to think I’d ever date one of her friends, Kenji-san? If she believes I am taken, then she will never want me.” Aone explains with a heavy heart.

Kenji knew he’d say that. 🙇🏽 It definitely wasn’t what he wanted to hear, but at least Aone was still predictable to him. For the past few months Aone has been acting quite different, being extra silent at practices, lunch, and walks home now. He didn’t call Kenji for Y/N advice anymore even though he continued to have occasional wet dreams..... so Kenji was thoroughly concerned for his best friend. Aone must be lovesick, in a depressing way, and for the first time Kenji felt helpless. He hated seeing his friend like this.

“You can’t keep torturing yourself like this, Aone.”

Aone tried to collect himself. “I’m not—“

“You are. Everyday you just sit in your sorrow about Y/N. Meanwhile I can tell your feelings for her are still strengthening every day. You either need to man up and ask Y/N out or take one of these girls on a date to forget about her. You have fan girls, man. Hot ones. And I can’t stand seeing you like this anymore.”

Aone frowned.

“None of them measure up to Y/N.”

Kenji was surprised at his response. “W-well no, but—“

“Futakuchi, I am aware that I have been acting rather pathetic. I am aware that you, my parents, and the team are concerned about me. I apologize for making you all worry. But as of right now, and as much as I do wish it was different — my heart is held by Y/N-chan. She’s the first thing I think about when I wake up, she’s the last thing I think about before I fall asleep...and as you know she’s in my night dreams and day dreams. She is the perfect girl for me and she is right there all the time; she’s in all my classes, at our games, she’s in the caf, the halls, the library...I know that you and Koganegawa want me to ‘shoot my shot’ with her or even another girl but I don’t think you two understand. Before, I’ll admit that I was just shy to pursue Y/N. That is true. But it’s been two years. My feelings have grown so strong for her....and I’m not shy to pursue her, per se. Given the opportunity I strongly believe I would.”

“So what’s stopping you then, Aone-san?”

“.......I’m scared.”

Kenji’s eyes bugged out. “Scared?! Aone, you’re the bravest person I know—“

“Not when it comes to her. Even so, I’m not scared as in the fear of horror movies or heights. I’m scared of how much it might break me if Y/N rejects me.”

☹️☹️☹️☹️💔💔💔💔💔

Kenji frowned, understanding. “I see...”

Kenji thought back to over a year ago how upset Aone was back when Y/N was in a flirtmance with that tool from the baseball team, then he thought of Aone’s dejected face every time you’d walk by him in the halls like he didn’t exist, and the worst and most recent—he thought of Aone’s face a few months ago when he fled the classroom because he realized you had no idea who he was when he was standing right behind you. He had been devastated.

He still is.

Even with Takanobu’s permanent scowl, people a step away from Kenji or his parents (like the team) could tell that he wasn’t the same.

“I know I’m being a coward, Futakuchi. But I don’t think I can handle any more pain—from liking Y/N and her definitely not feeling the same—than this. At least not until the volleyball season ends. That way I can deal with it myself in the summer. But if I knew now I’d ruin the season.”

Internally appreciative to be the only confidant of Aone, Kenji closed the pages of Instagram girls he planned to show his friend, exchanging his phone for his matching Japanese Literature textbook.

As Incredible as it can sound, Minseok has that sexy side that can drive every EXO-L crazy. His killer gaze when he's in that hot mood is something that gives us shivers.

XIUHAN

Poor boy that was left alone. He and Luhan were a powerful duo, a sweet ship. They loved and cared for each other a lot. We miss their moments together so much.

EXO-M

So, he's (or was) part of this unit that shows how he can be talented using a language that's not his mother tongue. And we can say it: singing in another language is a challenge. He's able to do it and that's admirable.

CBX

The most iconic trio, owners of ones of the prettiest voices we have ever know. They're an amazing unit that has blessed our ears with great songs. Incredibly cheering and happy, we love happy viruses!

EXO

We're so glad we could know him as the oldest Hyung and Fake Maknae of the amazing group that EXO is, where everyone complements each other's talent. They're so talented.

Seventeen as Haikyuu!! Characters.

S.Coups - Daichi

Papa Coups & Dadchi, this comparison was impossible to not make. Both have very gentle, strong natures that allow them to be wonderful leaders but behind that is deep caring and love for their crews and a slight dorkiness that captures everyone's hearts. They both have that sexy vibe (*cough*daddy*cough*), and of course they are both super sporty (I know its a sports anime, but they both have them thighs, so you know what I mean)

Jeonghan - Oikawa

Both make the initial impression of being absolutely stunning, but don’t let that fool you. Both are people who love to get their own way, and they are more than a little manipulative of the people around. They are both very dedicated to their careers and they work hard to be the best. Both love knowing they are loved (Dino nugu aegi?) and they seem to thrive on it.

Joshua - Suga

Both seem to be the peace makers of their groups, they have a very peaceful aura about them and they seem to calm situations. They are both very charismatic and everyone seems to love them, and they are natural leaders who can guide a group to a goal. They are both very talented but somewhat underrated, but they seem to be happy to take a backseat and provide support when it’s needed.

Jun - Ennoshita

In the exact same way people seem to forget about Ennoshita, poor Jun is always being blocked by those logos. Both have a more chilled, laid back kind of energy and so you don’t always notice them at first. Ennoshita doesn’t play often, and we all know Jun isn’t getting all the lines he deserves (and yes I am bitter about it) but when they DO come forward you can bet everyone is screaming and cheering and routing for them to be amazing!

Hoshi - Nishinoya

H y p e boys with 10/10 energy, enough to fuel their whole team. Both are ESSENTIAL members of their team, Noya being the Guardian of Karasuno and Hoshi being the choreographer of a lot of their dances. They are both older members of their team who act like they’re younger. Both seem to be full of endless positivity, and their enthusiasm boosts their whole team and amps them up. I can also totally see Hoshi screaming if Dino complimented him, then taking him for ice cream.

Wonwoo - Tsukishima

Both of these boys initially come off as quiet, sassy string beans but we all know beneath that is a lot of squish (Wonwoo in general, and Tsukki with his dinosaurs and Yams). Both are known for not reacting emotionally to things, and both are confident in themselves. Both are also super important to their teams- Tsukki is a blocking genius and Wonwoo has a unique and lovely voice.

Woozi - Kenma

There are so many similarities between these two, I don’t know where to start. Obviously, they are both smol and totally cute (something neither of them seem thrilled about. I mean. Just look at their faces) and they both make everyone who sees them say “aww!” and call them cute. But both are very lowkey and are happy to not have attention on them. Woozi is the genius who writes Seventeen’s songs, and Kenma is his teams genius setter. They both have killer sassy/unimpressed faces.

DK - Asahi

(I didn’t realise how similar they looked until I put these photos together lmao) Ok so!! Both are such gentle giants with dark hair. They both are so caring and kind and absolutely everyone loves them and wants to protect them. Both seem to take it upon themselves to make others happy- DK jokes around and acts like an idiot, whilst Asahi places immense pressure on himself to be an amazing ace. Both are also super!!! talented!!! Asahi with his amazing spikes and DK with his wonderful high voice.

Mingyu - Kurro

Both tall. Both devilishly handsome. Both gotta stop it. Both of these guys are super charismatic, their personalities are infectious and kinda goofy. They mess around, make jokes and make people laugh. They are also both pretty soft. Kurro loves Kenma more than most things, and Mingyu is like a mom in Seventeen who takes care of the other members. Also lets not forget MingyuxWonwoo and KurroxTsukki, they both have some strong bromances.

The8 - Kageyama

Both are super talented and blow people away with their skills. Initially, they might both seem a little... unapproachable? They don’t spend all of their time smiling, I’d say. But both are actually pretty soft (Kags with Hinata and The8 with Jun). They both work really hard at their skills, and both are perfectly sassy and lovable.

Seungkwan - Bokuto

H Y P E Both of these guys are loud, expressive and totally dramatic. We’ve seen Seungkwan’s explosions- “What are you doing?” “Kimbap be kidding” “Oh- so genius!” and obviously Bokuto is just a loud fellow. Both are also super enthusiastic about what they love, Seungkwan is loud and crazy when singing and dancing and Bokuto is loud and enthusiastic about vollyball. (Can anyone else totally see Bokuto running around the gym screaming “Jasmine!” and grabbing the other members?)

Vernon - Lev

Both of these guys are totally different to how they first appear. At first Lev seems cold, tall, scary and intimidating but in fact he is a giant toll who loves kittens and is clumsy and awkward. Whilst Vernon seems like a total fuckboy but he is actually a youthful meme. Both are actually totally goofy and silly and kind with their friends, and both are pretty cuddly guys.

Dino - Hinata

Both young, smol and totally enthusiastic. AND SUPER FREAKING CUTE OH MY GOD (Im fine, it’s ok). Both have so much raw enthusiasm for what they love, so much so that they are willing to work unbelievably hard to achieve their goals. Dino is an amazing dancer and is always improving, and Hinata is totally ace material and he improves so much over the seasons. Also everyone just really loves them and wants them to do well, they turn everyone into proud mothers and fathers.

ElyXiOn in Manila Pt. 3

The fans were ecstatically waving their lightsticks on the air to match up the heated screams as the arena lights turned off. I was about to tear up. Overwhelmed. The boys were already on the rising platform ready to be revealed while the first VCR was rolling. I just had my hand covering my mouth because I still cannot believe it was already happening. They were hitting the notes of the first song, The Eve. As expected, the vocals were just unbelievably powerful. It served me goosebumps! It was starting but I was still being slapped by a big wave of panic and shock. I did not know what to do first! I just kept on excessively saying Oh my god! in between the mouth covering. Not to mention that they were performing on the main stage, thus, I had to take an effort tiptoeing to be able to see them from my area. Nonetheless, I just tried to watch them with my eyes instead of taking videos. The next song was on, Forever, followed by Kokobop, and I already had the guts to figure on how I can take videos with that kind of situation.

During Growl, the boys were already approaching towards the center extended stage that caused chaos in our pit! I kept on chanting how handsome they are, especially when Jongin was dancing in front of my eyes! It is not even my first time to see him but I was still surprised! God really spent so much time molding this guy TT After the group performance was XiuBaek’s break dance on the rising platform of the center stage. It was good, I was questioning why they aren’t the main dancers of the group. No joke at all! VCR 2 played and eventually a time to appreciate the art that Jongin is while performing I See You. How I wish I saw it much closer since he did it on the main stage but still, seeing the whole production was beautiful. His spins were made out of grace.

After Jongin’s solo stage was the musical part. This was actually a favorite, it is analogous to the acoustic medley of EXOrDium setlist. It consisted of three songs, Call Me Baby, Touch It, and Chill. I love how hyped they were in this segment, they were trying to tell a story of young professionals going to a bar after a hard day from the office. Great acting with those facial gestures and body language plus the adlibs. Did I mention how grand the set-up was? Because it was grand grand! I wonder how they assemble such background in overseas stops, am curious. This is what I love about Kpop concerts, they invest so much on the production and do pioneering concepts. Every cent used to buy the concert ticket is worth it. Always.

Kyungsoo had his solo stage, For Life English version. Thank you for the crowd respecting the masterpiece by staying silent throughout the solemn part of the song. In between silence, one fan really shouted his lung’s content, “I love you, Kyungsoo!. I felt that and it broke me to tears. Being able to attend ElyXiOn was a miracle and I was so much grateful that I chose to fight for it until the end. I wiped my wet cheeks out and sighed with relief. Thank God for this experience.

Next to the set list were Going Crazy and Sweet Lies. The choreographies were done to the center narrow stage. Eventually, first ment! They forwarded and stayed in their usual line formation to officially greet everyone. I was happy to see them together again after a long time. Manila stop was a reunion for all since they had different flights coming to the country. They just had short introductions of their names with matching Mabuhay, Kamusta kayo? and such. Next in line were Boomerang and Lotto. I love the throwback feels of the microphone props used in Bthe latter song. Lotto is just that song! I do not know but Jongin is just crazy for it! Probably because he was not able to do promo stages of it he gotta give his all for all remaining Lotto stages haha.

Kids at play plus messing up with CBX during Kaching happened next. This part was so wildt! Umin and Jongdae’s faces were on a life-sized fake peso bill and coin hahaha! Money’s good. Money’s bad!

Finally, a rest for everyone! A ballad on the list, Sing for You. The members had an individual big portrait LED screens on stage. Did I mention that they sing live? Because yes! And after calming our nerves down, they attacked again. What’s good, Junmyeon? He just rudely performed Playboy on a table. The disrespect that I was not able to handle! But it was so cute he was trying to pull off a fierce and sexy image but it is out of his line. Hands down to the leader who loves to try new unfamiliar things. I guess this whole concert duration was a good example of a roller coaster ride haha! They would love to wreck you with intimate or hard performances and fix you back with ballads. Hand by Chanyeol emotionally wrecked everyone.

Back to happy setlist - Cloud 9, What U Do?, Lucky One and Tender Love. Okay this part was top-tier chaos, especially during the last song. The boys where scattered all over the arena, reaching corners to throw signed balls. There was swerving of people within the pit. I was so afraid of stampede to happen!!! My videos were so messy, I even recorded myself shouting at the back to stop pushing lmao. It continued for some time until the segment ended. Second ment is on. As I reviewed my fancams, there was even a part that I was not able to turn it off, I was uttering “ Wala na, patay nako!” It’s over, I’m dead already! because that was honestly scary. I cannot remember what they really talked about during this time but I can only remember Junmyeon kept on praising Filipino fans for singing along well haha. He even asked if we have Korean academy in the country lol. He also asked this during EXOrDium. We do no not to fanchants, that’s the rule. No one bends the rule!

The boys split up again, staying on the side extended stage. I honestly forgot what songs to be performed were on the spot near me but Jongin stopped literally in front of me, or in front of our area, there were like two people in front of me, during Walk on Memories! I tried hard to get my crumpled cloth banner that I happened to put in my back pocket! I raised it with my one hand and waved it while struggling to used my other hand to video him! I swear that was the closest proximity that I had with Jongin huhuhuhu! His eyes wandered over the crowd. I was not sure if he was able to read it. It was written as GOD KAI. But when it was already Jongin’s turn to sings his part, he acknowledged me by pointing it my banner mannerly HUHUHUHUHU!!! I shouted and kept chanting ohmygodohmygod!!! I must have saved someone from my previous life to deserve this! (okay, I am currently having a goosebumps while typing this down huhu) I was not able to video it properly, my whole existence was trembling. I tried to remain calm for the rest of the song since he did not leave the spot! I tried to reviewed my fancam second by second and yes, he read it! I am sure.

Next in line was Heaven, a solo stage of Jongdae. I tried to collect myself this time. I was devastated in a good way. Is that even possible? I was already so satisfied and blessed to be recognized for once in my fangirl life. It was a right decision to stay in the area! What were the odds? I was greatly favored!

Though I could already go back to my condo, happy and satisfied, the most awaited part was yet to happen, the club/rave one! With Sehun’s Go as a mood-setter of the segment. I am so proud of him, producing this song! The next was Diamond, followed by Coming Over, and Run This. During Run This, Sehun replaced Jongin’s spot. He was so so so close! He even bent towards our area to reach for the microphone! He was unbelievably handsome! The last two songs were, Drop That and Power and ohmygod again because Jongin assumed his former position. What a dream to see him dance to Power in front of me!!! This part was fun. I guess its very highlight was when Jongdae was on a rising platform and it elevated when he sang the high-note part of Drop That! It was so lit! The confetti bombarded afterwards to end the grand moment.

Encore followed. The fans were chanting. I was in denial that it was about to end. The boys appeared again and I was left silent because they skipped Monster which was originally on the setlist. I felt robbed, that song is lit. I need to witness it! Sadly, it went that way. They performed Don’t Go on the rising platform of the center stage. I was figuratively clenching my heart because the song brought so much emotions, happy and sad. We are literally growing with them. The fairytale-ish era was gone.

EXO proceeded with their ending ments. Chanyeol shared that he had his scuba diving lessons in the Philippines and is now a licensed scuba diver. He also expressed that the country is one of the best places to chill and relax (we take pride of our white sand beaches and anything that plays with nature!) Kyungsoo was regretful that we only had one day for Manila stop, he also expressed that he loves to visit Philippines because of the food. Jongin said that we also wanted to have more days to perform in this stop and will try to do so for the next concerts. He expressed how much he enjoyed the loud crowd neomu neomu! Manila is the best! is the most remarkable comment that Jongdae mentioned. Minseok shared that Manila stop was a reunion for the members since they were not able to see each other due to individual schedules. He considered Manila stop very memorable because of that. Baekhyun emphasized how passionate PH fans are that he also drained all his energy to be at par with ours. It only meant that he enjoyed performing on stage for the fans. While Baekhyun was expressing his thoughts, the fans sang in chorus an advance happy birthday for Baekhyun. Sehun also expressed his interest of going back to the Philippines apart from doing concerts. It was already Junmyeon’s turn for the ment. He asked the fans if we’ve noticed those dust flying from above because he thought that the day was Blooming Day. I guess he just want to do a free promo for CBX haha that he then sang the song and hoped for the subunit to have a Manila stop for their concert. The other members were very chaotic throughout the ment, they had their own world especially ChanKaiSoo! Junmyeon noticed Jongin playfully let the two chicken toys kissed lmao and Junmyeon had secondhand embarassment while asking for apology. To distract the moment, Baekhyun sang Baby Shark hahahahahaha what the hell, I swear they are kids! The crowd joined the singing and the members were all smiley. When Junmyeon said that the members did not want to back to Korea [because they were enjoying too much on stage] the VIP to general admission chanted “Walang uuwi! Walang uuwi!” I swear that was the loudest cheer we had that night! But I so disappointed because the translator did not translate it. You only have one job, miss. Junmyeon was actually asking what it was about and got no respond. Fans were already shouting at the top of our lungs “Nobody goes home!!!” Sadly, he did not get the message. Junmyeon shared a heartwarming message that: Wherever we are, EXO and EXOLs are one. Baekhyun, again, started singing Baby Shark and the crowd followed lmao. Jongdae and Xiumin were so done with him that they grabbed Baekhyun on the neck to make him stop. Lastly, Junmyeon said they will be back for a vacation and new concert and introduced the last song, Angel.

The boys are happily picking stuff thrown on stage by the fans and tried to wear everything they liked! It was really the end of this soon-to-be memory~ Kyungsoo shouted loudly “ Mahal kita, Philippines!” and I appreciated it so much! We ended the day with a photo taking with everyone in the arena. They waved goodbye as they vanished like a sunset under the main stage.

It was over but I was so happy. Probably the happiest. Definitely the best concert. I love them more. It is more than just stanning EXO as an artist but they are people who are part of my youth. I take pride of whatever they do in their life and career that makes them whole are a human being.

I went how full the next day. I went to the airport alone and took time to appreciate how lucky I am and I greatly honored the Lord for letting me come this far. He knew how much I had, a fistful of endurance over not-so pleasant events but He allowed me and did not let go of me. Thank God. Thank God.
