WxS Taiyaki Personalities
I’m in the mood to overanalyze WxS today so: here’s what I think their logic about eating taiyaki says about their personalities.

Emu starts with the best part first because why wouldn’t you? She focuses on the heart of what she cares about, which is why her passions are what started and drive WxS forward.
Her logic about splitting a taiyaki in half to feel like you have more food also fits her determination to make more out of everything she has using persistent cheerfulness, even without actually gaining anything material.

Rui anticipates the burn of the filling so he plans for that with his first bite to make sure the consumption will go smoothly. This is similar to how he prioritizes catching issues in their show ideas and looking for solutions before continuing. We also know that socially, he tends to anticipate problems before even starting.

Tsukasa and Nene start taiyaki in opposite directions but they both chose that beginning with their last bite in mind. They both think further forward than Emu/Rui, prioritizing what the end will look like over the the beginning or the process. It aligns with how they both strive toward clear goals for their passions. Yes this is a metaphor for their approach to disbandment.
Now for a real stretch:
Tsukasa (head first): He likes a palette cleanser at the end, or a clean slate to refresh with before moving on. Closure to him may resemble settling all loose ends.
Nene (tail first): She likes a final bite of filling at the end, as if wanting the last bite to capture the best of the taiyaki. Closure to her may resemble going out with your best.

Do you want to wake up with your desired appearance from head to toe? Yes, you Can. And when I say you Can that means you're fucking limitless don't let anybody limit you, 'cause you’re the creator of your own reality, not theirs but yours, and you create the rules here!
throw logic out the window! cause it won’t get you anywhere if you still ask “if i can manifest that and that..”
Okay, so when you decide what you want to manifest you might wonder what will you do next?
Well, it's simple really. just decide that you already have it.
But how?
By simply deciding that you already have your desires/dream life in your 4D/imagination.

Now you might need to use methods and by methods that means techniques that will help you achieve your desires and that make you fulfilled, you Can Also create your own method that suits you well.
Note: you don't need to do a certain method that everyone uses and that doesn’t resonate with you.

Then when you start affirming for your Desires or use methods to manifest your Desires you might encounter some issues with the 3d.
Things start going the opposite and you’ll start giving up and doubting yourself and the law.
And that when it comes to the important thing to do and it is called persisting.

"Stop saying Crowley won't help Aziraphale in S3 he'd go back to him in a HEARTBEAT and nothing would stop him" I get it no one likes the idea of Crowley being bitter after what happened for a long period of time but like can we at least acknowledge that he's currently going through probably the most emotional pain in his life since falling? Can we agree that he's opened his heart entirely - something you couldn't pay him to do unless the world is literally ending and he's desperate - to Aziraphale, and got shot down? Can we understand that he did it AGAIN only to lose Aziraphale again? Not that what Aziraphale did isn't without Crowley's own shortcomings (hiding the truth of Heaven's cruelty from him) but like,,,,
The appeal here isn't Scorned Crowley Doesn't Love Aziraphale Anymore, or Never Wants To Help Him Again, the appeal here is Crowley learning enough self respect to not just walk back right to Aziraphale like nothing happened after Aziraphale has had a pattern of consistently refusing him. Going years ping-ponging between "We're not friends I don't even know him" to "That's what friends are for right?" and "We're friends, why would you even say anything?" and "Friends? We're not friends. We are an angel and a demon!"
Like I get it, Crowley is a heartbreakingly forgiving person. Of course he's gonna forgive Aziraphale, I'll be surprised if he didn't forgive him by the time he walked out the bookshop door, but gdi he could at least grant himself the luxury of being at least a little irritated for longer than however long it takes to make a globe and some books float and angrily cry out to God in his flat. But due to the change of pace and dynamic that is establishing part of the conflict for Season 3, I just really like the idea of him for ONCE prioritizing himself and being like "Okay, fine. We'll get back at it when you're ready, then," instead of just taking Aziraphale back like his words and actions meant nothing to him, when clearly they have an effect on him.
What is Aziraphale going to learn if Crowley just accepts what he did so quickly, like he always has the entire time they've been friends? Idk maybe I'm just projecting too much darkness on their dynamic but I mean, if the pattern of Aziraphale pushing Crowley away/disrespecting him one day and then being fine with his friendship the next + Crowley never stopping to be like "Hey, that's not cool, at least give me a little credit" or smth was fine all along and will continue to be fine in the future, then why, after 6,000 years of being friends and loving this demon, can Aziraphale still not accept that Crowley is just fine the way he is, and instead got excited to promote him to an angel in a heartbeat once the opportunity presented itself? You can't blame all of it on Heaven when Aziraphale has demonstrated his free will/defiance to Heaven so many times. Or, I don't know, I guess maybe we can? Maybe I'm just craving too much angst to the point where I'm letting it cloud my analysis of canon. Idk.

Aight I'm about to do something.
I'm going to define the generations of Warframe based on broad design principles and trends and I bet a bunch of people are gonna get their panties in a bunch over minutiae. I guess to prevent unnecessary "um actually"-ism in the notes I'll preface with
A. This is based on personal opinion and is not meant to be interpreted as provable or disprovable fact. B. There will be outliers in every generation that buck trends and you don't need to point them all out.
G1 the Classic warframes. Being functionally prototypes of an un-finished and un-proven game the first generation of warframes had a lot to prove and not a lot to lean on. Generation one has rather limited mechanics and setups (some of which have been remedied post-release with reworks). Most generation one frames were very formulaic and laid the foundation for future warframe design;
First ability: Basic damage "bolt" attack. Second ability: An escalation of the basic bolt, usually with higher damage and wider range. (May be replaced by a second special tactics ability) Third ability: Special tactics ability, often for defense or support, has the most variety of functions. Fourth ability: Global nuke (or exalted weapon if you're fancy).

G1.5 the Iteration warframes. Generation 1.5 was more varied than the originals, with some frames being continuations of the original formula but almost all of them adding novel mechanics to the game.

G2 the Exploration warframes. More consistent and bolder exploration of new mechanics and playstyles than the previous frames, going beyond iterating on formula and incorporating novel elements to more than just one or two abilities, the first generation of true experimentation.

G3 the Complete warframes. What sets this era of warframe design apart form others is the "completeness" of their kits, by which I mean no skill is divisible from the whole, they all work in conjunction to create a wholly unique playstyle. These interconnected and self-contained ability sets make these warframes exceptional in both the short and long term. Excalibur Umbra is something of an outlier in this generation and sort of belongs in his own category separate from both original and prime frames.

G4 the Style warframes. These warframes were mechanically a step backwards from the third generation, due to having overall shallower and less interconnected abilities. This is not to say that these warframes are bad or insufficient. While some of these frames prioritized aesthetic over performance they are overall successful and some manage to incorporate new novel mechanics and tools which were either not previously conceived or otherwise possible with old architecture.

G5 the Saturation warframes. This most recent generation is rather perplexing, seeming to run hot and cold. Lessons from all previous generations seem to be present, although not all are equally successful. With members that imitate the classics, dabble in iteration and experimentation, and attempt to capture both completeness and style in their visual and mechanical design. What can be said about this generation, unfortunately, is that while it attempts to tread new ground most of its members cannot avoid being compared to older warframes occupying the same niche and may be ultimately redundant. This may be in part due to the game's age and not necessarily a condemnation of the new frames' design.

Hello, I've been reading through your sortings and thinking, y'know... snake secondaries sound really impractical? I mean, if they change so rapidly. Wouldn't the practical thing to do be to at least *look* consistent and straightforward and honest, since those traits are at least nominally prioritized and praised/valued (and then watch people squirm because they don't *want* you to be like that because they can't manipulate you but they can't say that because everyone is supposed to strife towards being honest and direct and value that in other people). I guess what I mean is, Snake secondaries are supposed to be pragmatic and practical so why do they do something that is likely to get them mistrust?
Snake secondaries aren't more pragmatic or practical than any other secondary. Unless you're very Burnt, everyone thinks their own secondary is a very pragmatic and practical way of doing things, and very likely thinks that one (if not all...) of the other secondaries is very silly for doing it how they do it.
(it's possible you're thinking of Snake primaries, who absolutely do have a reputation for being grounded. Their focus is very narrow compared to the others, so their sense of self-preservation is generally pretty high. It's weighted more.)
But to answer your other question, which is basically how do snake secondaries *work* if they don't look straightforward and honest... well... they generally don't *want* to come off that way. A Snake secondary wants to look clever, sparkling, lucky, like they hold all the cards, never miss a trick, and can pull solutions out of the air. Snake secondaries are people like Captain Kirk, Jack Sparrow, Ferris Bueller, Lyra Belacqua, Lucy Grey Baird, Percy Jackson. They would feel constrained by being always one way - always consistent, always straightforward, always honest.
It's also worth noting that Snake secondaries will often have have specific faces they wear for specific people, so while I guess it might be jarring to see a Snake secondary act very differently around someone else... it's not like they're a different person every time you meet them. It's also true that when Snakes trust you they often stop playing, just exist around you in Neutral, and there's an honesty and consistency in that - a very earned one. I generally feel very flattered and very safe, whenever they trust me like that.

If Griffith gave Guts an answer he wanted to hear on the hill of swords how do you think he would have reacted? Do you think Guts would ever have ever forgiven him?
(Not quite as old as the other one but still way too old to be acceptable, sorry).
I think he would've been conflicted, and he would've been pissed off at himself for being conflicted, and he would've been pissed off at Griffith for making him conflicted. But he still would have forgiven him, because he couldn't not do it.
Or maybe "forgive" is the wrong word, because I'm sure he'd still be pissed off. Maybe "made up with" is better? I've pretty sure I've talked about it at greater length in the past but I'm genuinely feeling too lazy to go look it up, so I guess the somewhat concise logic is:
Even now, his current mission - his drive to destroy the apostles and drag himself up to Femto's level and theoretically kill him is all informed by Griffith's stupid speech - to this day he is trying to be the kind of person that Griffith (the original Griffith, but by extension the current one as well) could value and respect as an equal.
IMO, this is a huge part of the reason for his breakdown about being unable to hit Griffith. It's easy to assume that this is because he realized he can't kill the man he's been trying to kill, and I'm sure that is part of it. But another big issue for Guts is that he's been living to catch up with Griffith ever since Promrose, and he just realized that not only has he utterly failed to accomplish that, he's actually so far behind that catching him may be physically impossible.
The drive to earn a place next to him became a drive to fight him because of the changing circumstances around the relationship, but it's evident from say the Black Swordman arc or the Hill of Swords that Guts is still looking for that validation, and still looking for Griffith inside Femto/Neo.
Furthermore, for at least a fair stretch of time (leaving open room for the idea that this changed at some point, although I don't think it has), even his determination to take care of Casca was primarily attributed to his wanting to have her around to remind him of Griffith. Obviously this doesn't mean he doesn't care about her, it's just that what he actually wants, more than anything else, according to his own mind... is to hold onto, and become further/more deeply entangled with, Griffith.
Given all that, why wouldn't he make nice with Griffith if Griffith gave him any reason to think there was a point to doing so?
Obviously the argument is that he couldn't forgive the atrocities of the Eclipse, but the thing is, Guts is largely amoral - people love to attribute noble/selfless/moral qualities to him, but he routinely proves that he doesn't give a damn about anyone he doesn't have a personal connection to - he will literally just let them die if it's more convenient that way.
He's also proven that he has an internal hierarchy of significance - he does prioritize his current companions, for example, over strangers, but he prioritizes Casca over them, in turn. I think the Hawks as a whole were one massive "ingroup" - he cared about them, even the ones he didn't know very well, because they were Hawks, and that's all fine...
...but who does he consistently prioritize over everyone else, including all the Hawks and Casca?
Obviously, Griffith. He's the one Guts literally just ignored the Eclipse to try and save, the one he once abandoned Casca in a cave to chase, and the one he legitimately left her to burn to death to search out during Conviction.
My point is, whatever it is he's trying to achieve with Griffith is always going to be the most important thing in his life, and thus will take priority over other things in his life, even things he also feels strongly (but not as strongly) about. And what he tries to achieve with Griffith is heavily dependent on what he thinks he can achieve with Griffith.
One of my favorite Miura quotes is something to the effect that Guts and Griffith's relationship isn't stagnant and won't necessarily remain the same over the course of the story - that Guts remains the way he is as long as Griffith remains the way he is (and vice versa, presumably). He said at the time that he was looking forward to depicting the changes between them as the relationship evolved. Unfortunately he didn't get to it, of course, but it's still a relevant point... that the way Guts is toward Griffith can still change, if Griffith changes, too.

You lay beside Hyunjin on your cozy bed in the early hours of the morning, he was still fast asleep which was unusual for him because he was an early bird. You were certain that he had rehearsals with the boys this morning but you shrugged it off thinking that perhaps you’d made a mistake.
Just then your cellophone chimed and when you saw who it was you smiled, it was Yunjin frantically telling you about her new solo song she was working on.
JEN: Y/n!! I finally finished my new song
YOU: OMG IM SO EXCITED TO HEAR IT??
JEN: yupp you should come over to the studio today to get a sneak peak, I’ll be with the girls except for Sakura because she has a photo shoot :)
YOU: I would LOVE to come over
JEN: Kazuha says she’s excited to see you and misses you xx
YOU: AWW omg wife tell her I’m omw
YOU: also um… c-can I bring…
JEN: UGH fine you can bring the boyfriend
JEN: Tell him he wins this time 🙄
YOU: YAY xx see you later
You turned to talk to your boyfriend but noticed that he was still asleep, his hair was stuck to his forehead a little with perspiration and you figured that was odd because it was still cold outside. You pressed a gentle hand to his forehead and felt the heat radiating off of him as he began to stir in his peaceful slumber. Your eyebrows immediately furrowed in concern.
“Jinnie, are you okay baby?” You wondered as his eyes fluttered open and he winced from the sunlight bleeding through the open window.
“Hmm, I’m fine it’s just hot today.” He told you, “what time is it?”
“It’s almost nine.” You answered honestly and his eyes widened in shock. “What?”
“I have rehearsals for the new album today, shit.” He cursed tossing off the covers, grabbing a towel and heading into the bathroom to take a shower, not even bothering to close the door. “Good morning by the way!”
“You’re so…” you chuckled to yourself. “I knew it.”
Just then his phone started going off with messages from the boys group chat rushing him. “Chan says you better hurry up!”
He took a while in the shower but you didn’t think much of it, he usually prioritized his skin care routine and perhaps he was shaving too. You poured at the thought of that last one, he usually asked you to help.

Afterwards the two of you had breakfast which consisted of fried eggs, toast and jam, he didn’t eat much which was odd so you tried feeding him a spoonful of scrambled eggs and he cringed.
“Damn, are my eggs that bad hm?” You asked slightly hurt.
“No I just, I have this headache that won’t go away and judging by my light sensitivity I’m guessing it’s another migraine.” He told you and you got up and took his medicine out from the cabinet. “I don’t know if I should take that yet it makes me sleepy and I have to dance.”
“Yeah maybe you’re right and you haven’t eaten much either so it might do more harm than good.” You pondered, “okay I’ll carry it just in case.”
“I’ll be fine don’t worry, it’ll go away.” He reassured you, he was always so good at doing that.
“I hope so.” You sighed, “by the way after practice we’re going over to HYBE to see Yunjin and the fimmies, she wants to show me her new solo song!”
“Yunjin hates me.” He complained with a pouty lip.
“She does not!” You argued with a chuckle, “you’re so dramatic babe.”
“She’s good at writing songs though.” He commented. “Love you twice has been on repeat in your car since.”
“I≠DOLL is way better.” I argued and he shook his head is disappointment. “Hey just because I’m an author doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about music.”
“You’re lucky I love you.” He hushed and you shoved his shoulder playfully.

Immediately after you got in the car and begun your dive to JYP, Hyunjin made you drive because he said he didn’t feel up to it yet. He leaned his head against the window and closed his eyes, you had to admit that you were growing undeniably worried about him.
Once you arrived at the company you greeted the boys and sat in the corner with your laptop working while they had dance practice. Hyunjin kept lagging behind which was very unlike him and the choreographer was getting frustrated with him as well as his members.
“What’s gotten into you today?” Lee know asked placing a hand on his shoulder, Hyunjin wiped sweat from his forehead looking beyond exhausted.
“Yeah are You okay, you don’t look so good…” Jeongin asked and as Hyunjin’s gaze met yours across the room he shook his head ‘no’ in refusal. “Oh.”
“If you weren’t feeling well you never should’ve come Hyunjin-ah, your health is our top priority you shouldn’t push yourself so much.” Chan asked of him shaking his head. “Go home and rest okay?”
“Yeah, feel better hyung.” Seungmin agreed with a gentle smile.
“Okay, I’m sorry again.” Hyunjin apologized as Felix handed him a towel and a bottle of water. “I’ll go…home after Y/n and I go to HYBE.”
“Alright.” Chan nodded.
Hyunjin immediately approached you and sat down next to you, you shook your head in concern. “We don’t have to go…”
“But you’re so excited to see the girls, it’s fine we can go.” He assured you, “I’ll be fine promise.”
“Promise?” You clarified.
“Yeah, let me Just get changed.” He affirmed. “I’ll take the medicine now I think.”
“Okay,” you agreed handing him the a bottle of water and a two pills which he took gladly. “Let me know if you start feeling worse, we’ll go home.”
“Okay.” He agreed. “My stomach feels a little off though, God I hate having migraines because it always makes me feel like this.”
“I’m sorry baby.” You hushed. “It’s probably because you’ve taken the medication on an empty stomach.”
“Yeah probably, it just feels off like my breakfast is moving around.” He told you. “Let’s just go, it’ll be fine.”
“Okay.”

By the time you arrived at HYBE the fimmies we’re waiting for you in the studio, you hugged them all and Hyunjin said did so as well, having been well acquainted with them since they were such close friends of yours.
You put on the headphones Yunjin gave you as Hyunjin sat down in the corner talking to Chaewon about one thing or the other.
“Watch him for me Chae.” You asked her in secret, “he isn’t feeling well today but he’s being stubborn so just let me know if anything comes up.”
“Aww really? Shame. I’ll be sure to do so, I’ve got him don’t worry.” She assured you giving you a side hug.
As you listened to Yunjin’s new song you were still amazed at how incredibly talented your friend was, how she was able to write such amazing songs.
“This is amazing!” You complimented her and she smiled.
“You mean it?” She lit up, “I was so uncertain about it.”
“No I mean it you did well.” You comforted.
Just then Chaewon tapped your shoulder and she had a worried look on her face,
“What is it Chae?” You asked her taking off your headphones. “Is it Hyunjin?”
“Yeah he said he’s really not feeling well.” She told you, “you can go home you know? We love you for coming but it’s okay!”
“Yeah Y/n it means so much to me that you showed up despite everything.” Yunjin thanked you.
“Of course I had lots of fun, let me go check on him.” You told them and made your way over to the couch Where Hyunjin was seated, his skin was pale and his hair stuck to his forehead. “Hi baby, you okay?”
“No I feel nauseous my head is killing me, I don’t feel good.” He told you, tears collecting in his eyes. “I’m sorry I’m ruining your day.”
“No you’re not love don’t talk like that,” you attempted to comfort him, “lean your head on my shoulder it’ll make you feel better just close your eyes. “Chae is driving the car closer to the entrance so you don’t have to walk far.”
“Mmm.” He sighed leaning against you and placing a hand over his stomach.
“Migraines are the worst, I’m sorry.” Yunjin apologized. “Feel better Yeah?”
But Hyunjin was so out of it he could barely hear her, he burried his face into your neck and said, “I feel like I’m going to throw up.”
“Shhh, don’t worry you won’t.” You attempted to calm him down but you could hear his stomach doing flips and knew.
“The nearest bathroom is two floors down and the elevator isn’t working today.” Kazuha warned.
“Shit.” You cursed just as Hyunjin gagged and covered his mouth, he shut his eyes as vomit began to deep through his fingers. “Is there a trash can?”
“No I’m sorry!” Yunjin apologized but tossed a towel onto the floor to at least attempt to do the cleaners a favor for what was inevitably happening. “There.”
“He can just throw up there’s no time.” Kazuha told you.
“Just let It Go Hyunjin it’s fine baby, you’ll feel better afterwards.” You comforted him as he let go of his mouth and gagged once more as a thick stream of vomit splattered onto the floor despite the towel. “I’m sorry baby.”
“Y/n…” He groaned and held your hand as he started throwing up again, his watery breakfast making an appearance in front of you as Chaewon arrived with a trash can and stepped back as to not get any on her shoes. He coughed as you put the trash can under his chin and he continued throwing up bile.
“Shhh you’re okay.” You hushed.
“I’ll call the cleaners.” Kazuha volunteered leaving the room.
“I’ll call Chan and tell him you can’t make practice tomorrow too.” You told Hyunjin as he nodded silently, saliva dripping from his mouth and vomit through his nose. “You’ll be okay.”
After the whole ordeal at hybe you and Hyunjin went home and you helped him take a shower before settling into bed, he fell asleep fast and you held him close to you. “Sleep well angel.” You hushed. And he did just that.

What's ur opinion on the whole "Blame the writing not the character" thing for writing, cause I think miraculous and its Fandom is a weird case.
Normally I prefer approaching everything from the "Blame the character" angle because at the end of the day all a character is IS their writing (this also applies to good things oc, not just bad). Especially regarding their emotions I don't see much purpose in distancing everything one doesn like about a character from them by saying "Oh, it's just the writing. Disregard it, tahts not who the character truly is" cause at some point that just reads as.. kinda refusing to acknowledge who the character on screen actually is bc one doesn like it.
Miraculous is just a weird case. You can smell the meta decisions 10 miles against the wind - like Marinette and Alya for some reason being able to beat Adrien in battle and Cat Noir pre-s5 being "incompetent". You know exactly that this is not character based writing, Cat has to be weaker than Ladybug and Scarabella because they're girls and they have to look good. It's hard saying Adrien is a weaker fighter in all those cases, or when the temp heros need to be brought in, because you at some level know exactly that there is a meta reason behind it. And that makes it hard to discredit him for that just as much as it's harder to actually give the girls credit for their abilities. They shouldn't be able to beat him so easily, but they do because of their gender and this shows "rules". Just like there is no actual reason in-universe for why he's suddenly on Ladybug's level in season 5. It just is.
(kinda weird how the show also never gave Kagami credit for being a trained fighter either. I guess they thought they can't acknowledge her training either or else they couldn't get away with making Adrien weaker as Cat Noir. So they probably dead ass denied Kagami her special spotlight too for shallow reasons (but at least their consistent)
But on the other hand, I personally don't think Marinette and Adrien leaving in Kwamis choice without saying goodbye to each other is out of character the way most people say it and then just disregard it by saying "it's the writing, not the characters". Rewatching that two parter, it set up alot from the finale, and I don't think them leaving each other like that is out of character just a harsh reality check where we are at after s4.
They never came out of that season actually "better" partnership wise just because Adrien decided to stay by her side these two times and remained kind and supportive. That was decided to be the Cat's definitive job towards the Ladybug so that's what he's continuing to do but that doesn't really concern anything beyond that. In my opinion it is very much questionable how much Ladybug and Cat Noir are actually REAL FRIENDS and not just kind collegues the way Marinette wanted in s4 (with potential for real friendship under better circumstances).
That's also why Adrien gave himself up in the finale, no? If they were real friends he would have been able to ask for her help as she was the only one who could have kept him save because of her yo-yo. But they're just kind collegues, so he didn't.
And just because he stayed her teammate doesn't it mean he's still in love with Ladybug or that he still WANTS to be in love with her after all that pain it caused him. So he made a harsh decision thanks to Plagg and prioritized finally being happy and getting some stability, especially because Gabriel was being fake loving.
And Marinette's romantic feelings for Cat Noir and her acknowledgment of him all together have always been of shakey and chaotic nature. Her feelings for him really started whne she was at her lowest an thinking herself all alone while also being afraid of her feelings for Adrien.
This was from the get go an already dark orange sign for how genuine her feelings are (desperation is always an iffy foundation) and as others already said, she's never seeing more in him than the mask. How can you say you really love a person when you only acknowledge half of their personhood? Marinette only started taking interest in who Cat is when she started getting frustrated by him not reacting the way she wanted him to. If he had I don't think Marinette would have thought about wanting to know who he really is, it really came across like a frustration thing which explained why she was so reckless about it in Elation, and why she then left afterwards.
I don't wanna say she saw no purpose in him anymore after being rejected by him (that's too strong) but we already saw in season 4 that Marinette's treatment or acknowledge of Cat Noir very much reflects what use and purpose she sees in him, hence why he was basically reduced to an irrelevant footnote by the end of season 4. Yes, she wanted him there as teammate but thats it. It's still questionable in my opinion if she even noticed him not showing up anymore at the beginning of Kuro Neko since she reacts surprised when the reporter points out his absence and then claims towards Plagg Cat should be happy that he gets to have time off, as if she just convinced herself that she generously allowed him a week off instead of her having been so deep in team leader mode that she didn't even notice him not showing up anymore.
Marinette not noticing him having stopped showing up is a harsh characterization, but I wouldn't call it out of character in the broader sense.
So her leaving when he rejects her, because she doesn't want to be his friend and teammate but his girlfriend and he said no? Can't say thats out of character either because the show is also really consistent in her characterization that she doesn't see much value in being friends with Adrien either because she loves him, so being friends is the worst thing possible for her.
À décision being harsh and not what one likes doesn mean it's out of character and one should distance the event from the character in one's head.
I think Kwamis choice makes alot of sense, as does the focus on Adrinette instead of Ladynoir, and how the finale played out.
Which goes back to my original question. It's very obvious that there are 20. 000 meta reason controlling the narrative, but in my opinion only in a specific way. Everything still makes sense in my opinion, it just feels so CONTROLLED.
Marinette is a mouthpiece for the writers messages but even if I think the messages are fucked up and hypocritical, I can't say any of it was ever out of character for her?
You get what I mean?
Yeah, I get that. I myself approach it from the "blame the writers" way, but like you said, it's a blurry line. What tips me over ultimately is the fact that Marinette should have grown but clearly didn't. What she does isn't out of character for her for sure, but as far as the writers are concerned, she has grown and she is better, and all the stuff she's doing isn't really a bad thing. So, I can't in good conscience blame the character for being bad when the people who are bringing her to life are the ones who really believe all the stuff that's being said through her. She's supposed to have developed as per the writers' vision, but clearly, she hasn't. It's bad writing, and that really isn't the character's fault. That's how I see it.

the recent chapter was decent, but when I realised akane wasn't the yoshiro after convincing myself he was for a month i had to close the tab stare at the ground and like. process for a few seconds. how i wish he had been... i did enjoy mirai trying to save his life though, and teru recognising that they hadn't been going to their full strength because maybe they didn't care about the yoshiro, because as you said, they had been presented at a higher level and we didn't see that in chapter 109

I always had doubts about him being the Yorishiro, with Akane having 2 bodies and the supernatural one already being stabbed in the chest before, so even that reveal was more of a "oh, okay. Makes sense" feeling.
It's... kind of sad... my experience with this chapter. With this arc.
The only thing I like is Mirai saving Akane, and how rich with character quirks, values, and experiences, Akane's fight with Tsukasa is, it goes beyond just his judo skills (and Elise will talk about it when she has the time) But I'll be honest, I have no hope for this arc, no wish to think about it and theorize it or anything.
I am here for terukaneaoi and the way Aoi hasn't shown up even as a small panel since the clock was frozen is... very telling... Akane's 'betrayal' with Teru also saddens me, for the more I look at it, the more clear it becomes that it is a tool, not a conflict they planned as a means to clash ideals, learn more about each other, or strengthen/restructure bonds (like Aoikane in chap 69 or Kou and Teru in chap 87). When Aidairo does want to create character conflict, they are amazing at it! Which makes Akane and teru feel... that much weirder.
I never expected Teru to jump and try to help Akane, he is handcuffed and without his sword, but I did expect him to have some kind of thought about the situation while he watched Akane be beaten up in front of him.
We get no reaction panel about what he thought of the fight. At all. Akane isn't in immediate danger when we do see his thoughts but it still feels... Strange to frame chapter 108 in a way that highlights how much Akane's betrayal affects Teru on a personal level, to make chap 109's gag revolve around Teru being THAT angry with Akane and then... Make Teru not spare Akane a single thought.
Teru even takes into consideration Nene's lifespan, but absolutely nothing about Akane. No cursing him. No "oh he did almost die like I wished for, idk how to feel a bout that". No "it feels strange to not be able to do anything, just watch". No, "I guess he is a clock keeper not the boy i thought I knew". No "i'm glad he is not dead". Not even "he should have died", as cruel as it sounds, it would still make way more sense than just... Nothing.
He doesn't even refer to Akane by name.

Teru is someone who has taken things personally since his very introduction, unused to change and prioritizing his relationships over his duties (not exorcising Hanako so Kou doesn't get mad at him. Putting the intire school at risk cause Tiara wanted him to clean up a mokke in chap 39. Letting Akane punch him in chap 71, etc-)

He is pathetic and unexperienced when he takes things personally, he wants to be reliable and admired, he doesn't know how to handle not getting what he wants (especially with Akane, who always obeys). Even when he tries to be detached his pathetic nature still show up. It had been consistent.

But the guy that locked himself in his bedroom and hid under the covers for a whole day after his fight with Kou seemingly got over Akane betraying him in what must have been 1 hour without talking about it ? I know Akane is not as important to Teru as his family but it's insane that he got over it without even thinking about it or being able to move in any way to let his frustrations out.
The worst part is that even when I suspend my disbelief and go along with the idea that Teru "isn't taking things personally anymore and is in professional mode cause the situation is dire!" it still makes no sense.
Akane's betrayal should have filled his head with questions about the situation, about what changed, but Teru never even tried to connect his vague talk with Akane with the clock keepers seemingly being nerfed.

Why 'now?' feels like an important question. One that should stick, but Teru ignores it.
Which again. Goes agaisnt what is established of his opinion of Akane.
Why would he neglect the words of a colleague he considers wise? Of someone he is treating as fully part of the clock keepers now? Someone he always wanted to hear his opinions before even in his 'professional and smart' mode? Someone whose opinions we have been told he doesn't dismiss even when what Akane says clashes with his upbringing as an exorcist? I am just supposed to assume he is treating Akane as any other supernatural now? Is the betrayal an insta 'everything that has been established no longer applies' free card...?

So yeah, sure... This is a big improvement from chapter 109 but it has the same core problem as chapter 109, at least to me: Aidairo has no interest in exploring Teru as a character in this arc. Aidairo wants the spotlight fully on the broadcasting club, and they will tweak his character whenever it's convenient to set the stage. Just like Nene had turned into a kid with minimal agency, Teru has become a presence that doesn't ask questions, unless said questions will move the plot.
Feelings will also be reduced to what moves the plot, we don't need to know how he feels about being in a position with no power, no sword, and minimal knowledge for the first time in this manga. There is so much they can explore completely disconnected from Akane, despite putting a spotlight on their relationship in chap 108, but there is nothing for Teru's character.
Even when Tsukasa points at Nene, whom he isn't angry at, he has no reaction. He does not care about this guy targeting the little baby girl after witnessing Akane be dragged on the floor.

Of course he doesn't. This isn't about him, is a Hanako set up, Teru can't have even a panel of spotlight on him that is about his character, can't bring attention to his fall out with Akane, less the reader get any expectative from it, or take space in a manga that currently isn't about him.
Teru is a tool first, and a character second in this arc. Chapter 109 stuck him in a dumb gag box. Chapter 110 stuck him in a smart guy exposition box. His personality is picked apart when it is convenient not when it makes sense for a character that has been molded for 100 chapters.
I don't care about this plot. I care about my favorite characters, and how they would react to the circumstances the plot been put on. That's my priority. It isn't Aidairo's. Even if Teru does have a relevant role later, it's still clear that exploring his character isn't Aidairo's priority in this arc.
I told chapter 109 to make me care about the arc, and chapter 110 is way better but not enough to make me care. Which is very sad, I wish it did :(
...This was already a depressing enough answer as it is, I don't want to talk about it.

I.
A relationship with the literal ruler of the entire world is, unsurprisingly, unbalanced. Your relationship exists entirely at her whims; whether you were the one who started things, falling for her and trying to get close, or if you simply caught her eye and she couldn’t get you out of her head.
The Imperator lives an isolated existence. Even among the highest ranking members of the Duodecim, opportunities to do anything more than see her from a distance are rare. To have a chance with Izanami, she must choose you. Likely as entertainment, first, finding herself amused by you, so much that she begins seeking you out when the mood strikes her.
Then, she chooses to keep you. She presents ‘asking you out’ as an order to become her servant- as if you aren’t already technically her servant just by living in the world she controls. She asks that you stay by her side until the moment of your death. Which is… kind of like a marriage proposal? I guess? How sweet.
II.
Being her ‘servant’ really is just fancy Imperator-speak for dating. You might be a little worried about what will become of you when you agree to the deal, but not much changes. You don’t have to do her laundry, you don’t have to clean anything, you don’t move in with her and live in a cage or whatever.
What she does demand is that you prioritize her, that you be available for her at all times. You are her possession now, and she will have you when she wishes to.
Get well acquainted with that strange… person… creature (?) she calls Phantom, because you’ll be seeing it a lot. It acts as your intermediary, appearing when your lover wishes to summon you.
III.
You know the life of the Imperator Librarius is an isolated one. She stands as a god, separate and above all others. In this world, that is a fact as natural as the air you breath. But being close to her like this, seeing more sides of her, grants you new perspective on what that really means for the one on the throne.
Izanami is a terribly lonely woman. Under all the arrogance and power, your lover is shockingly… childlike. It’s evident that she has no friends, likely never has had any- the words she uses for you (servant, favorite, pet) expose the fact that she wouldn’t even know what to call an equal. You imagine that she never had much of a childhood. If only you knew.
Phantom is sent for you daily, generally. Izanami’s words are distant and lofty as always, but the more familiar these moments become to you, the more you start to see through her. She's thrilled to have a companion.
IV.
She loves toys. Jigsaw puzzles seem to be what she likes best. She’ll kindly allow you to select the edge pieces and build the frame- the simpler task, she promises, though for a puzzle with thousands of pieces you’re not sure any part of it could count as easy.
She's both willing and eager to try to play anything you bring her. She describes you like a jester, bringing her all these novelties in an attempt to keep her entertained. She presents it as if it just might be some kind of test. As if, if she isn't amused, you'll be punished somehow. You never are, though- it seems her bark may be worse than her bite.
She’s not too keen on video games, you'll learn, and she'll only try a few before she starts to refuse them. Puzzle toys, on the other hand, are consistently a hit. Slip a Rubiks Cube into your pocket and grandly present it as an ‘offering’ to her or a ‘symbol of your devotion,’ and she’ll adore it. You can't help but wonder if she's ever gotten a real gift before.
V.
Another hobby of hers, one perhaps more in-line with her general image, is stargazing. Er, moongazing? She does know a plethora of constellations and can readily point them out if asked (your zodiac is one she likes to show you) but what she seems to like most about the night sky is the moon itself.
She doesn’t venture outside often, but there are nights when you are summoned to join her for a walk around a gated garden. The moon is always full, or just about, when she does this. She’ll walk with you for a time, enjoying chatter and teasing, until the winds hit the trees just right and she falls silent. She'll watch them dance, then turn her attention up to the sky, where she’ll watch the moon until the clouds hide it from her.
It’s one of those things that she doesn’t seem to notice she does. When you ask her what she likes, she’s unable to think of many things, and the night sky is never something she lists. But when you catch her staring up at it like this, if you ask, she’ll tell you she finds it nostalgic.
She's beautiful under the moonlight. Take your time admiring her before you speak. The moment she realizes you've caught her, the night's spell is broken, and she'll return to the walk, ending your opportunity to observe her unguarded.
VI.
Izanami says the strangest things sometimes. The way she speaks, you’d think she’s forgotten that she is as human as her subjects. She muses on the nature of humanity as if watching it all trapped in a little fishtank. She delights in the way it may amuse her, but seems to genuinely believe that we’re all ultimately just swimming around in circles until our hearts finally stop beating.
If you like to debate, and if you can do it respectfully, you can have a lot of fun here. You can spend hours arguing the purpose of human life, trying to get her to see something of inherent worth through the impermanence of it. The value of love, of connection, of fun, of creating something to pass on or simply finding something to share with others.
No matter what you highlight, her nihilism never wavers. She always has some reply to twist your words back around to tragedy.
Sometimes it feels surreal, as if you're up against a real angel or even a god, making a case for humanity at the cusp of the end times. And the way she dismisses your 'evidence'... with that innocent laugh and that smile full of pity.
She sometimes doesn't feel human at all.
VII.
Of course, she isn't. Hades Izanami has never been, could never be, human. Despite this, she does care for you. In her way.
She adores you. If she didn’t, she would not keep you so close. You may never be able to have a normal relationship with her, but her desire to have you near her through all her idle hours proves how badly she wants you- how much she needs you. Loves you. The one she has granted the honor of being her only companion in this world.
You are her amusement. You are her happiness. You are a spark of... something, something that her vessel seems to crave desperately. You make something in her core begin to ache, as if that girl’s heart still dwelled inside her chest.
VIII.
But as was said at the start- to be her lover is not to be her equal. The Imperator Librarius has no equal. Death walks alongside everyone but must herself stand alone.
No matter how wonderful it feels to be with her, she was honest with you when she asked that you be her servant- not her lover. You have a purpose to fulfill in this relationship.
Your purpose is to be loyal and to love her. To bring her laughter when the world makes her sick.
And one day, you will have fulfilled your purpose. One day it will be time to end this world.
Shall she reward your loyalty with a vision of Doomsday? Shall she let you know, in your last moments, the true nature of that which loved you?
Or shall she spare you the death thralls and send you to sleep with sweet ignorance?

The representation debate.. yes, this is all over the place.
I don't even know if I'm the most intelligent person to start this discussion nor do I have answers. What I do know is there is a debate brewing surrounding Bottoms and queer representation that got me thinking about representation in entertainment in general. I'm not queer but I am a black woman, so that is my frame of reference. I will also preface by saying I haven't seen the film.
Apparently some people are mad that Rachel isn't a lesbian or Jewish but has played multiple characters with those identities. In a plot twist, Emma, a Jewish lesbian cast Rachel in Jewish lesbian roles twice, so she's unbothered. Ayo has played a few queer roles and has been consistently vague about her identity but one could assume from her interviews that she is possibly bi or pansexual. Anyways, it came out that Rachel has/had? a boyfriend and Ayo has/had (maybe they broke up?) a boyfriend and people have been up and arms. Like Ayo's dude/ex-dude? was getting harassed to the point a mutual friend stepped in. I think part of this is people just mad because these women maybe are taken and they can't date them but also mad because they feel the roles should have gone to women who are 100% lesbians. I've read some people mad that they think it's a cop out for the actresses to not be transparent because they are in possibly the biggest lesbian movie for this generation. So I guess the question is what do they owe that community, if anything? Not my community, so I dunno but fascinating to think about what this means culturally.
I get that a community can feel that actors who get roles representing them should be cast with people from that marginalized group being prioritized. It took years for things like black, brown, and yellow face to become taboo, for queer characters to even be a thing, and actors allowed to be out. So it does seem like that work should be graciously granted to people who fit those demographics. Like, all of this is still new and messy in Hollywood so I do feel like some reparations as far as opportunity are due. And Hollywood has failed hard even recently. We've just a few years ago had cases of white actors being greenlit to play Asian characters. And I don't care if the characters were bi-racial, most mixed race Asian people look identifiable as being of Asian ancestry and are viewed as non-white. Like, I don't want to see a white person play a bi-racial black woman. Nope. And don't even get me started on how colorist the industry still is. In 2023 black entertainers still feel the need to bleach their skin, only wear European looking hair, and get nose jobs to get ahead. And the sad thing is, it often works. Even Erykah Badu gave in. So we need more black women who look straight up black to not be sidelined... STILL.
So my next thought is people who would say, but, but POC are playing traditionally white characters. To me it doesn't make a difference if the OG character is white if their specific heritage had nothing to do with the character. And even then, exceptions can be made. British, doesn't have to mean white, for instance, etc., etc. And Hamilton subversively cast POC as American founding fathers.
But anyways, back to Bottoms. Again, I don't have a true dog in this fight except to say I'll just focus on Ayo, because she's a black woman. Honestly, I'm just happy to see her get good roles. I don't care if she is personally queer, if she personally isn't queer as long as she is representing an interesting black woman. I do have stakes in her being into men on The Bear because that's the romance I see brewing regardless of what people think representation wise. Her character could be bi or pan and I would be fine with that but sorry, I can't dismiss what I see as her into Carmy. Not to derail this with my shipper goggles but there is a strong contingent of people deeply invested in seeing Syd be a lesbian and I get it but I think if that's not what is written, it isn't what's written regardless of what representation people want to see.
I dunno, my opinions aren't coherent nor do I think I've figured anything out and am not trying to speak for other communities. I'm just sharing passing thoughts and wanted to get other people's opinions in hopefully a civil discussion.

I've seen a couple posts treating the TOX game handbook like it's the Bible, that it's an accurate breakdown of the show's main characters, and then fighting about what it all means.
On the one hand, some people are arguing "It says Callum cares more about his inner circle than anyone or anything, so he cares more about his friends than morals." But then others are saying "Rayla's Devotion score is #1, so she cares more about her friends than morals."
So I'm just gonna weigh in and say: Guys, my people, y'all gotta read carefully. Specifically the first paragraph about the main cast:
Fans of The Dragon Prince will recognize these key players in the show! We have assigned all of these die ratings, values, and so forth to reflect where we believe the characters would be at the end of Season Three. This way, should you encounter them in your tales and chronicles, you will feel it reflects the natural place where they are in the story. And though Zym is important, we haven’t included him as a catalyst, as he is still a baby dragon and only Ezran knows what his true die ratings are. Feel free to adjust these aspects for your own playing group, including (but not limited to) when the show’s story advances into future seasons.
In other words: "Here's our breakdown of the characters, but it's just our two cents so take it with a grain of salt, and it's just a snapshot as of s3 and they'll likely change anyway."
In short, don't take it seriously, it's no different than a headcanon about where they stood two years and two seasons ago. Imo the real fun is how the characters line up now as opposed to 3x09, since the whole point is that these values are supposed to change over time:

So, in the spirit of fun, here's where I think each main characters' values stand as of s5:
Callum
Here's Callum in s3:

I think he's the easiest to guess because his character growth lines up with which Arcanum he learns. Because Arc 1 was all about him learning the Sky Arcanum, Liberty represented his most important value ("Destiny is a book you write yourself!"). But as of s5, he has definitely been questioning this ("no matter how hard you try, you'll never control everything"), so this has probably dropped. Meanwhile, I think his learning the Ocean Arcanum has opened him up to understanding hidden depths, so his Truth value would have increased to perhaps being his highest one (similar to Lujanne, whose highest value is also Truth).
Soren
Here is Soren's as of S3:

Soren is also similarly easy to guess. His highest value in S3 is Glory, which I think has definitely stepped down (he was willing to hang back in 5x09 and let the trio fight Claudia while he watches over their friends). Instead, I think his Justice value has shot up, especially in light of his standing up for Elmer ("He deserves dignity!"). By the end of the season, I think his highest values are Justice and Devotion.
Rayla
Here's Rayla in S3:

I think, if anything, Rayla's Devotion score is maxed out, but her Justice score has gone up. Rayla is now even more devoted to Callum than ever, centering everything she does around him and trying her best to be his closest companion. But she's also prioritizing stopping Aaravos over her family, so her sense of Justice is higher too. She might still prioritize Callum over their mission, just not over anyone else.
Ezran
Here's S3 Ez:

Ez is probably the hardest to map, just because he hasn't had many moments of introspection or clear moments of growth. But if I had to guess, I think his sense of Liberty has grown somewhat, especially in light of Soren telling him he should have moments to be a kid lest he "grows up weird."
Claudia
And last but certainly not least:

Like Ez, Claudia's change is kinda hard to pin down mainly because she's remained pretty consistent throughout. If she has changed, she has become even more devotional (representing a dark antithesis to Rayla), while her Liberty score has likely dropped. She is, at least for now, chained to the path she is currently on.

Ami #3: Obscure headcanon.
I tend to headcanon the senshi and their civilian selves as looking different from each other. For Ami (I haven't quite put a nail on it yet), but I've hc her as having black hair and heterochromia when she's just regular Ami. I think this is the only drawing I've ever done of her following this hc and it's quite old. Maybe I'll implement it more in future drawings. I don't want to good too 'hc-y' with my designs quite yet, i try to keep them pretty close to canon.

Ami #19: Vices/bad habits.
I've wrote before of how much Ami loves coffee. I think it's her number 1 vice which can turn into a bad habit if she's not kept in check. She can go hours and hours without putting any food in her stomach and she'll always prioritize caffeine over a meal, which you can imagine, often leads to some unwanted health hazards.
A lil bonus, I can 100% see Ami as a nail biter and nervous scratcher.
Ami #22: Best physical feature.
I'm a lil unsure what this ask is specifically referring to, but if they mean what I think their best physical feature is uhmm, I guess her hair. Ami's not my fav, even tho I love her to death, but as I started drawing more frequently I often find myself gravitating toward drawing her a lot, I think I just really love drawing her and especially her hair.
One of my fav compliments for my art I've ever gotten is saying that they love how I draw her hair, it seems super fluffy and I think I rlly agree, maybe I just enjoy drawing shorter hair cause I loved drawing Saeko's hair too.
Tho if you're asking me what best physical feature Ami herself thinks she has, idk.. I don't see her caring too much about her body. She obv takes care of it and I think she'd consider herself somewhat cute, but nothing more. Maybe her hands, suffering from frostbite fairly consistently as Mercury has given her a new appreciation for her fingers and hands.

In general, her mother. Ami knows Saeko isn't the perfect mother, but she still has endless respect for her. Not only as a mother, but also as a very accomplished doctor. Her dream to become a doctor is mostly driven by passion, tho not only her own passion, but her mother's passion as well. She sees the amount of work and pure love Saeko puts into her career and I think Ami really looks up to that, it's a form of 'dependable happiness' to say.

So About the "About the Crows..."
This isn't some big theory, I just thought it'd be funny to have that for a title and I'm too tired to prioritize consistency over comedy
(Also this is in reference to this post, where I made a theory regarding the crows and their removal from the game, and the relation of that to Phil's potential lore)
So yeah some people pointed out that the reason the crows were removed was just because they have inventories. Like the catfish. Which makes them lag machines, much like the catfish, furthering and giving double-meaning Fit's famous quote of "FTC" (Fuck the catfish. Fuck the crows. F the C/C I suppose)
So yeah that part of the theory's debunked I guess lol. I will say though that I'm little surprised that they got rid of the crows that fast, when it didn't seem like they were that big a problem in comparison the catfish. But I guess they can't get rid of those without getting rid of like 40% of Fit's reason for living
The crow thing's still gonna be a headcanon though and you can't stop me, he-he-he-heh

Having been thinking about the new ep all day, here's the thing about Ruby's explosion.
Yes, she was being irrational and harsh. Yes, as someone who has rejected all leader figures plenty of times and put her team in as the people making more choices, the narrative seeming to be trying to tell us that Ruby didn't ask for this is stupid and Ruby not acknowledging her own hand in the place she wound up wasn't good.
But it would be really disingenuous to act like WBY - and specifically importantly Blake and YANG her beloved older sister - haven't been being really oblivious, unhelpful, and unfair. Blake has at least been trying to help at the start of the season by being the one trying to keep situations from spiraling out of control and filling them in on details about the story, but even she hasn't been acting like they're actually in a serious situation, and Yang and Weiss have just been having massive attitudes the whole time not doing much at all. And even though Weiss has at least attempted a conversation with Ruby about her feelings, Blake and Yang specifically have barely done more than say 'Ruby?' questioningly and 'are you okay?' Like guys that is about the same kind of reactions I get from my coworkers when I have a headache at work. And I would be willing to overlook it if they actually acted concerned outside of those shallow moments, but instead they just act like it's an average day in Remnant where they can just banter and flirt and do slapstick humor. Let's not forget that there was literally a time where the team was walking and Blake and Yang were ahead just super caught up in each other giggling and almost holding hands, and Weiss and Ruby stopped walking to have a serious conversation while Ruby was just dejectedly unable to even talk about it, and Blake and Yang were still just walking along chatting like they didn't even notice. Like, yes they deserve love and no actually it wasn't their fault that the writers I MEAN the Ever After forced a confession, but it is their fault that they've been acting completely oblivious and uncaring to both the seriousness of their situation and Ruby's own struggles and pain. I feel like I'm justified in being frustrated by them and I feel like Ruby's really justified in being frustrated with them.
And Yang extending her arm out as if to protect Blake from Ruby? It's consistent enough with Blek to flinch away from any sort of anger or criticism, but Yang seriously was out there acting like Ruby was a danger to Blake? Ruby - Yang's supposed beloved baby sister - basically just said she feels like Yang doesn't care about her, said she was crumbling under the pressure she was facing, and couldn't just smile through it, and Yang's reaction is to angrily shield Blake without even a word to Ruby? No protest of 'that's not true,' no explanation of 'I was trying to give you space,' no guilt and apology of 'I'm sorry, I've just been so happy, I guess I didn't realize...' Imo the line there was pretty clearly drawn, my reading of that scene is that Yang will always prioritize Blake over Ruby and doesn't care enough about Ruby. I would never just stand there while my little sister basically said she felt like no one cared about her without telling her how much I love her, and I would never let a fifty year old man yell at my traumatized and crying little sister that it's her fault that someone is trying to kill her and destroyed others in the process without protesting it.
Speaking of Jaune, I think his blow up makes sense and a lot of what he said wasn't wrong. I'm making allowances because he's clearly been through a great deal and whether or not the 'Ascension' of the Paper Pleasers is actually a good thing or a full on death, Jaune thought it was a full on death and that everyone he'd been trying to take care of for years and years had just died and Ruby was talking about herself. But at the same time A. not everything he said was rational (like blaming Ruby for Neo hating her and coming to attack everyone,) B. Jaune's not one to talk considering that things like the Argus plot was his idea and the plans at the start of V8 were spurred on by his 'go for both' plot and he had no problem at all with Ruby's plan and helped carry it out and has also been treating their group as the end-all-be-all authority. And C. Jaune should not be here at all. This would be a much easier pill to go down if this was Ren (who has recently doubted their plans,) or a battle-hardened Nora (who has by her own words only made jokes and hit stuff and therefore would feel like less of a hypocrite for this,) or May Marigold (who has also doubted Team RWBY too) and all of that would feel better than the underdog hero Jaune with a history of stealing the spotlight and girls getting fridged for the sake of his pain yelling at Ruby the female protagonist for not being good enough and for being selfish. Like RWBY writers please think things through, this is a bad look. Jaune the character might have good points to make, but the rwby writers shouldn't have put him there in the first place! Especially since his pain takes focus away from Ruby's. And yes, obviously what he went through was bad and shouldn't be just dismissed, but let's remember that the writers are the ones that orchestrated - and often forced - every single circumstance that led Jaune to be where he is now.
Basically, I have problems with the argument scene.
