a gryffindor like himself with a ravenclaw like you might seem like an unlikely pair at first but i think you and sirius would vibe instantly because you're both pretty extroverted and easy to get along with, and especially since you're both talkative. he loves how easy and fun it is to talk to you! you're able to talk to each other or other people for hours on end, and his favorite thing is to have long conversations with you about anything you want! he tries his best to keep your sensitive nature in mind and even though sometimes he might forget to think before he speaks, he always makes sure that you know he's not trying to be mean in any way, he's just kinda impulsive with his words.

60s and 80s rock music and old movies are so his thing too, so he would absolutely adore that you have similar interests. maybe one time he takes you to an old muggle drive in movie or concert for a date! i think it's a common headcanon that sirius plays the guitar as well, so you like to teach each other new things or have a jam session whenever you can! you could teach him about astrology and tarot readings if he doesn't know anything about them, and as much as he wants to pay attention to what you're saying, he'd keep getting distracted by how pretty you are talking about things you love. honestly, sirius would think you're the prettiest girl he's even laid eyes on, and he wouldn't hesitate to tell you all the time.

spontaneous trips with sirius are a must! i can imagine him taking you out on his bike and the two of you just making a day out of exploring wherever you end up, shopping, walking around, going sightseeing—anything you want! his love language is also quality time, and he absolutely loves doing anything and everything with you! and he's also the same way you are about physical touch, but he warms up to you pretty quickly. sirius feels safe enough around you to let his guard down, and he only feels that way about a select amount of people.

i feel like you'd get along pretty well with the rest of the marauders too since you and sirius are quite similar! they would joke around saying "merlin's beard there's two of them 😧" but in reality they like you too and they love how happy you make their best mate.

Remus seems to be inspecting his lips—they look dry, he decides. Then, he looks at you. You're on your flip phone, playing snake. You're chewing bubblegum.

Sirius jumps as you put the bubble between your teeth, making a loud: 'Pop!'

Your lips are shiny. They glitter nicely under the light. He'd even go as far as to say they're glossy. So very glossy. 

"What're you starin' at, cowboy?" You ask.

He stands up, making his way to you. "Can I have your lipgloss?" He ignores your question.

"What do you want it for?" But you still pull the tube out of your pocket and hand it to him.

"I wanted some," He squints, eyes focusing on your lips, "And I wanted to give you some 'cos your lips look a little dull." He opens the gloss and brings its applicator to your lips. He's applied too much, and your lips are glossed shut. Using all your might to pull apart your sticky lips, you go to scold him, "You've put on too much, Remus." It comes out as more of a whine.

"I told you, I want some, too."

"I don't understand what you mean," You put your hands on your hips. 

And then he's leaning in, looking at you with lustful eyes, "I want some," He repeats, dangerously close to your lips.

Only then do you understand what he means, now waiting for him to kiss you. And he does. It's messy, and you're getting gloss all around his mouth—not the best application, you think before he grabs your hips, moving you closer. "Is this cotton candy flavoured?" He mumbles against your lips. "Yes," You mumble back. He goes back to kissing you, and you can feel him smiling.

"Oh my God," James groans, "Can you hurry up, Moony? We've a whole crowd we're supposed to be playing for. Or did your girlfriend's stupid cotton candy lipgloss make you forget?"

"Lipgloss," He's still kissing you, "Made me forget," His words come out smushed and distorted. James smacks him upside the head.

Remus runs out on stage, the crowd cheers, and he grabs the microphone, saying, "Sorry for running late. I was busy putting on lipgloss. Do you all like it?" The cameras close up on his face, displaying his lips on the jumbotron. The crowd cheers again. "It's my girlfriend's." He smirks, happy knowing only three other people knew what he meant.

You didn’t have to spend as much time as you thought to convince Regulus to let you do his makeup. There was just something about the urge to put eyeliner under his sleepy eyes or gloss on his lips.

Regulus held your hips as you straddled his lap, holding his face with your hand while the other was gingerly applying the eyeliner on the outer corner of his right eye “Stop moving,” you chuckled.

Regulus huffed but still obeyed. You leaned back to look at him and you smiled, satisfied by your work. “Now I have to do the exact same wing on your other eye. If you move, I’ll kill you,” you said, trying to sound convincing.

At this, Regulus raised an eyebrow “You won't”

“I will, I swear.”

“Mmh” Regulus hummed with a smile on the corner of his lips. He watched amused as he saw your tongue poking out the corner of your mouth. You always did this when you were focused and he found it adorable even if he refused to admit it.

He tried his best not to move but when the brush hit a specific spot next to his eye, he couldn’t help but jolt, the eyeliner now ruined. “Reggie!” you groaned. It was perfect before he ruined it.

“Sorry,” he laughed but wasn’t really sorry because he loved to see the pouty look on your face. 

When you had finally wiped the eyeliner, did it again and Regulus didn’t move, your smile widened. “You look so good!” you said enthusiastically and you could see the light blush on his cheeks. You handed him a mirror “Look at yourself!”

Regulus observed his reflection and he had to admit it, he loved it. “You did a good job,” he smiled at you “Can you smudge it? Like what you do with the eyeshadow.”

“Sure.”

He sat there a few more minutes as you worked and when you gave him the mirror again, his lips tugged into a smile “Thank you, love. I like it,” he said as he pressed a kiss to your cheek.

“Also I was right,” he said.

“About what?”

“You didn’t kill me,” he said with a smirk.

Your eyebrows knitted together “Mentally I am.” You tried to be convincing but you looked more like an angry child.

He only had to kiss your lips to make the pout disappear “No, you are not. Now let me kiss you.”

everyone seemed to be obsessed with the marauders, particularly the gryffindors—they all wanted to be a part of their group, sit with them at dinner or be their friend, the honorary fourth member, for no one ever seemed to count you, lily, marlene or dorcas. those who nurtured small crushes on the boys even cheered for them during quidditch matches, regardless of the house in which they belonged.

it was simply the way it was. and though remus told you time and time again he had eyes for no one but you, your jealousy could still get the better of you. you’d no cause for concern, but it was the blatant disregard these people had for your feelings, or your existence in general.

this time it was some gryffindor, it was always worse when they were gryffindor—they didn’t like that remus lupin was with a slytherin. they were congratulating him on his latest exam marks, top of the school; you were so proud. but surely your pride was the only one that mattered to remus. yours and his friends’.

out of the corner of his eye, remus could see you seething, your lips pressed in a tight, thin line, your countenance threatening. he tried to bite back a smile, for it was all very amusing to him, and not offend whoever was speaking to him. and when they were finally done with their little speech, they congratulated him one last time with a lingering arm touch.

“right!” you sounded from across the room, having had quite enough.

“thanks so much,” remus said quickly, shooing them off.

he walked over to you with haste, grasping your hand in his to walk you back over to where you’d been sitting. he laughed quietly, though this time he could understand your aggravation.

“it was nothing,” remus said calmly, caressing your cheek.

“it was not nothing. they were flirting with you. they always flirt with you. and they don’t care that you have me, that’s what makes it so frustrating,” you explained, leaning into his touch.

“it was nothing to me,” remus altered his previous statement, rubbing his thumb over your cheek. “you know, you’re cute when you’re jealous.”

you tried, and failed, to maintain an expression of anger, to dramatise the seriousness of the situation. but you could never stay angry for long when remus was around—it simply dissipated.

“awh, rem,” you laughed bashfully, pressing your forehead against his chest.

he knew how to diffuse all the anger built up inside you and replace it with nothing but adoration. he knew the very inner workings of your heart, like it was a mechanism he had taken time to learn and master.

“come here, darling,” remus instructed, lifting your head up by your jaw, “let me kiss you.”

you nodded, wetting your lips slightly in preparation for the long, lingering kiss remus left you with, perfectly aware of who would be watching.

my heroes in tattoos poly marauders timestamp has become more popular than I thought it would ever get omg! Thank you everyone for all the love and support! i really appreciate it so much!

Because so many people seem to enjoy the au (and honestly, me too) and are eagerly awaiting additional parts, ive decided to make it into an unofficial series, meaning that I’ll write for it whenever I get some inspiration, which will build the main storyline

and if people want to send in requests for any additional scenarios they want to see happen with the characters, they can! unfortunately this will not include nsfw 18+ requests

however, this is only because i am not confident in my writing of nsfw works yet but i promise to work hard and built up to that if i can - in the meantime, i am open for building tensions bc im a slow burn lover ;)
