You couldn't see the real me, so you broke the part that feel for you. Night after night you ask "Your cheating on me huh?" "Let me see your phone?" When all this time you holding on the pain your ex cause. You couldn't see the faithfulness that shown you. Throughout my actions you painted a picture that I was hurting you. My steps towards the door feel weightless. My path clear as you scream out "I'm sorry!" I turn... Tears from your face fall.... My picture broken on the floor... What to do ? "Your just like everyone else! You never truly loved me and if you did you'll have nothing to hide!" ... To hide I never hid anything from you! You was slowly pushing me away every time I came home! You never seen the goodness in my heart as you search for an excuse to end it. Now you have one I'm done trying to live up to your ex's expectations. You know it's crazy I truly wanted to love you but you NEVER..... (Slam the door) Riding in my car, radio low for the fear of love song to play kn repeat. Mind left wondering if me being to nice was the reason it ended. Phone rang as I ease into a red light. Phone calls turns into messages of pain and sorrow. Messages turn to regret as my good name is throw to the wolves. Now I sit alone, in a car filled with thoughts of you. My heart wanting to take you back but my mind doesn't want to feel that pain again. I look at the phone as your message readed "I'll change for you please take me back!" I reply "No not until you can forgive yourself and heal then truly then we can work until then bye..." (Message unable to send) I get home, house pitch black, bills in the mail slot and the pain of working hard for a one sided relationship will never fade. My name, my heart, my character dragged through the mud for a falsified rumor that was spread. Pour a drink for the guy who was faithful just for his heart to be broken once again.
