one of my fav crack au ideas is "villains suddenly have to watch a baby" so i had a ooc completely unserious thought: one day durge shows up with a child they in no way could have participated in making (like dragonborn durge with a dwarf or drow baby) and tell gortash "hey this is my baby, can u watch it for a little while i gotta go deal with some nonsense in the temple"

and gortash is completely blindsided he's like "this is your baby???" looks at it sleeping in his arms for a minute and is like "... this is OUR baby."

durge comes back and gortash is carrying the baby in one of those wraps on his chest and drinking from a mug that says #1 stepdad and suddenly doesn't have the heart to tell him they were gonna eat the baby

There's so much pressure to prove yourself as a handler and prove your dog, especially right now when everyone's posting their accomplishments. But it's okay if the only thing you did this year was enjoy your dog.

That's the whole point of having a dog, and that's more than enough.

I got curious and took myself down a rabbit hole. The picture from NYE with Calvin is almost identical to NYE with 🏈. Both had work that night, too. She really is recreating everything she did with Calvin with 🏈.

Calvin went to three 1989 concerts, so it’s possible 🏈 goes to a couple more Eras concerts. I don’t recall how many CH shows Taylor went to but she was playing “supportive girlfriend” then and it aligns with her showing up to 🏈 games, while also getting paid by the NFL.

Calvin also made reference to Taylor being on tour and him being based in LA. Which lines up with 🏈 being in KC and Taylor being on tour.

He had seen the worst that life had to offer and somehow had made it through to the other side singing its praises. He was right about everything of course. Especially the part where he explained that creativity is the antidote for destructivity. It doesn't matter how bad things get....what matters is whether we transform shit into gold. The photo is an example of just such an unexpected transformation....a section of an art garden I was compelled to create once in the middle of a nightmare. Leonard Cohen was asked once about his legendary depression and he said: "I've found that the answer is Good Work." The best advice I received from Viktor was to not set my sights on what I wanted from Life but to pray to God to be given meaningful work to do. He recommended that i get down on my knees on a regular basis and beg God to be given a job with purpose. This practice has made all the difference." ~ Sofya Smith
