You’re So Old: A Gavin Leatherwood Imagine
Happy Birthday Gavin! Thank you so much for everything, and we love and appreciate everything you do! Hope this is okay for you guys, and enjoy x
Tumblr media
7th June 2020. Gavin’s 26th birthday.
You had left said boyfriend in bed, preparing to make him a birthday breakfast. You’d been in a relationship with him for just over a year now, and you were determined to make this birthday one of the best he’d ever had.
He hadn’t been overly enthusiastic about it all, moaning that he felt he was getting old.
You had been less than sympathetic.
“Oh my God, twenty-six. You’re so old, babe.”
Gavin had laughed at your sarcasm, placing a kiss on your temple and pulling you towards him. You had welcomed his warmth as he wrapped his arms around you, arms that had stayed there until only an hour ago when you had successfully managed to escape his grip without waking him up. You smiled as you remembered how you had left him, his hair tousled, cheek pressing into the pillow.
You were so distracted by your thoughts of him that you didn’t notice a pan that was teetering on the edge of the counter until it was too late. It crashed to the floor, and any hope you had of waking Gavin up romantically, disappeared out of the window.
“Well, that’s a great start.”
You turned to face Gavin, a smile plastered on your face as you looked at him, at the tired grin on his own face as he seemed to be fighting the urge to laugh.
“Happy birthday!” You spoke with enthusiasm, arms spread out as you stepped over the now forgotten pan. You ran over to Gavin, giving him a kiss. His hand met the back of your head, tiredness edging the movement of his lips, his arms wrapping around your waist when you parted.
“What were you doing?”
“Making breakfast. Oh crap, breakfast.”
You hurried out of Gavin’s grip as you remembered the eggs that you had been frying on the stove. No longer white, they were now blackened crisps, and as you found Gavin with his head resting on your shoulder, laughing, you couldn’t help but laugh too.
“As you can see it’s going really well.”
“It’s typical you, Y/N. It’s perfect.” Gavin kissed your cheek. “Don’t worry about breakfast, it’s okay, really.”
As he helped you tidy up the kitchen, you and Gavin found yourselves engaging in teasingly playful conversation.
“You know, I’m old now. I’m probably not supposed to be helping you do this. Bad for my back,” he joked. You frowned at him, ready with a sarcastic retort.
“Yes, how does it feel being an ancient twenty-six?”
“It would definitely feel better if my lovely girlfriend had got me a present.”
“Maybe you should ask her.”
“Hilarious, Y/N. Really.”
Your gift to Gavin was a new jacket. He’d picked it out whilst you were on one of your many daytime strolls through the streets, and you had offered to buy it for him then and there. He had told you not to, claiming it was far too expensive, so unwrapping it now was a surprise for him. You noticed his eyes light up, and the smile he was trying to hide.
“You shouldn’t have.”
“Well, I did. And before you argue, I’m your girlfriend. It’s your birthday, and I’m allowed to spoil you if I want to.”
Gavin didn’t answer, instead smiling and thanking you with a gentle kiss. As the day went on, you found your boyfriend loosening up more, enjoying his birthday far more than he said he would originally. You watched his favourite movie, went for lunch with his family, took a stroll through the woods behind his family home.
He never let go of your hand, red rising to his cheeks when you decided to sing Happy Birthday to him in the middle of nowhere, laughing as you did so.
“I don’t know why you’re embarrassed. There’s nobody here.”
“I’m not embarrassed. I’m in awe.”
“Awe of what?”
“You.”
You were the one whose cheeks heated up this time, blushing as you so often did when he complimented you. The afternoon drew on, the sun setting, clouds settling over the horizon. You arrived back at home, Gavin kicking off his shoes and sitting down on the sofa, legs stretched out.
“Well, thank you for a lovely birthday,” he kissed the top of your head as you sat down next to him. “It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.”
“Not even turning twenty-six? That’s so old, you know,” you teased.
“Not even turning twenty-six.”
There was silence for a moment, a pleasant kind of stillness that neither wanted to break. Too wrapped up in just the feeling of being with each other to disturb the gratification that it gave you, too wrapped up in just the feeling of being in love.
But, as always, it wasn’t long before Gavin spoke.
“Hey, you’re not cooking for dinner, are you?”
You laughed.
“No, after the disaster that was breakfast this morning, I figured takeout was probably the best option,” you nodded to a selection of menus on the coffee table, “What do you want?”
Gavin placed his fingers under your chin, tilting your head so you looked at him. He looked into your eyes, eyes that he so often got lost in, and placed a lingering kiss on your lips.
“I want you.”
He kissed you again, the takeout menus well and truly abandoned as you lost yourself in him, in his touch, in his words. Only a single sentence threatened to escape your lips, but as they were preoccupied, you chose to express it through your actions.
Happy Birthday, Gavin Leatherwood, I love you.

Satan only knows whats gonna happen.

After the weekend, classes had resumed, you walked with Sabrina to each of your classes, but something had seemed off today out of all days. You had looked around you and spotted an empty seat, you had turned to Sabrina and leaned in, “Brina, where’s Nick, he’s never one to miss class.” Sabrina looked at the empty seat and shrugged. “Maybe he overslept, or got lost in the woods?” This was unusual for Nick, he was always on time, especially when it came to classes, he always made sure to arrive just on time, even when he was feeling a bit under the weather. As the day had come to an end you had spotted Nick by the steps conversing with the weird sisters, they had their hands all over Nick and he did not seem to mind. He would occasionally smirk, as they let out giggles. “Looks like we’ve found him,” Sabrina said as she folded her arms across her chest. She glanced at you and you just rolled your eyes as you spotted Nick. “As always flirting it up with the three hags.”
Nick had glanced up for a minute, eyes on you but it was not a friendly look, like the one he’s always given you. “You know what Brina, I’m not feeling too well I think I’m going to bed…see you tomorrow?” Sabrina frowned, “Are you okay? My aunt Hilda can make you something for you.” she said. You just shook your head, “No, it’s okay I’ll see you tomorrow.” You had looked at Nick, before walking upstairs to your room, you heard the giggles of the weird sisters and Nick mumble something that you quite could not grasp. As days had gone by, Nick had been different towards you, if you had joined him and Sabrina in a conversation he would roll his eyes every time you spoke, or would always mumble a nasty comment that was barely audible.
As time had got closer to your conjuring project being due, Nick had agreed to meet you in the woods to try and do the conjuring spell once more, you had arrived in the woods early setting everything up just like you did the last time. As you were in the middle of setting things up you heard footsteps behind you. “Oh, is the little witch starting without me again?” He questioned, you furrowed your eyebrows, “Excuse me?” you said as you stared at him placing his book bag onto the floor and taking out a few items needed for the spell. “Let’s just get this thing over with.” You continued staring at him, and you felt anger starting to crawl up into your body. “What the hell is wrong with you? You’ve been acting like a jerk!” Nick stood up and looked at you, “What’s wrong with me? You want to know what’s wrong with me?” He said walking up close to you.
“You, are what’s wrong with me.” You did not understand what had been going on, one moment Nick was kind to you, and the next thing you knew he was bitter, and sour towards you without any reason as to why. “You are just no good, I don’t even know why they let you into the academy, you’re useless, a waste of witch.” He spat out. You felt your heart sting with hurt, it was as if someone had just punched you in the gut and you couldn’t speak anymore. “I don’t understand….” Nick clenched his jaw tightly as he stared at you, his lip sneering at you, “You disgust me, witch.” He said and walked off. Nick had grabbed his things and left you in the woods alone, you tried to fight the tears that were now burning your eyes and you could no longer hold them back, you felt them rushing down your face one by one.
Nick’s POV:
The night Nick had told y/n how much he had cared for her, he went to bed happy knowing that she was the last face he saw before bedtime, and the only face he would want to see for the rest of his life. As he slept, his happiness was shattered, his dreams had turned into nightmares, and his body felt like it was burning from the inside, Nick was trapped inside of his nightmare, his body had felt as if he had sandbags inside of him. Nick’s eyes shifted from corner to corner, his surroundings had been familiar to him, but he was frozen. He looked up seeing a shadow over his body, smirking at him. Nick's eyes had widened, as his body had been absorbed by the shadow. He felt the pain as the shadow and Nick were becoming one, making his body a new vessel. Nick had tried his hardest to fight it mentally but eventually, all Nick could see was the darkness, the darkness that now covered every inch of his happiness, everything he once loved, was now shattered by the demon that had possessed him.
As the weekend had passed, classes resumed Nick was still in his mind trying to fight off the demon that was possessing him. He tried his best to stay strong and block his mind from the demon’s whispers and chuckles. As the day went on, he saw her, he avoided her as much as he could, but the demon would always take over, knowing who she was, the one girl that was his whole heart. When they both agreed to meet in the woods, a knot grew inside of Nick's throat, he wasn’t sure what was going to happen, he tried his best to fight off the demon, but something went wrong and Nick had ended up leaving y/n alone in the woods, “A waste of witch.” It is what he called her, a part of him regretted it, but a part of him didn’t.

Would you do fluff prompts 33. “Do you want my coat? It’s really cold out here” and 9. “Ride the Ferris wheel with me?” with Nick Scratch with the reader being Sabrina's mortal cousin?
thanks so much for your request!  i thought this was really cute :,).  i’m not sure if you wanted the reader to know that nick is a warlock in this, but in this fic they do.  and also this takes place at fair in part 3- but let’s just pretend that the pagans weren’t behind it for the purpose of this.  cool?  cool.
prompt 9: “Ride the Ferris wheel with me?”
prompt 33: “Do you want my coat? It’s really cold out here” (i’m changing coat to jacket btw)
Tumblr media
-
Your arm was linked with Nick’s as the two of you navigated your way through other people and couples at the fair in town.  Your half-witch, half-human cousin Sabrina showed you the flyers for the fair posted up around Greendale and Baxter High, so you asked your warlock boyfriend Nick to go with you because you thought it would be a cute date.  He agreed, so here you were.
Nick had played one of those games at a stand where you throw darts at a balloon and try to pop them.  Somehow, he managed to pop 5 balloons with all of his 5 darts (go Nick!) and he picked out a teddy bear for you as his prize.  In your arm that wasn’t linked with his, you had your teddy bear hugged tight to your chest.
“I wonder what I should name it…” You contemplated, and Nick chuckled.  “Do humans always need to name inanimate objects?” He must’ve been thinking, but instead he decided to help you by giving some suggestions.
“Luci?  Dante?” He gave you some names, and naturally they were related to Satan.  He was joking though, so the two of you threw some actual suggestions around before you actually decided on what it’s name would be.
“How about Nicky?” You said, “I think I’ll call him Nicky.” This made Nick smile, and he nodded, agreeing that that was a good name.  The both of you spent some more time walking around and playing the games.
Soon it got dark and the wind started blowing a bit more aggressively, making you get chills.  You really started to regret not bringing a jacket or a cover-up.  Nick seemed to notice this, so he brought it up nonchalantly, “Do you want my jacket?  It’s really cold out here.”
You accepted his offer and he removed his arm from yours, taking his leather jacket off and helping slip it onto you.  You zipped it up and it quite was comfortable, a bit snug, but that’s the way it was supposed to be fitted with the zipper up anyway, so there were no complaints.
You walked around some more, and Nick bought some pink cotton candy for the two of you to share.  You run into some friends while walking around, like Theo and Robin, and your cousin Sabrina, and having a little chat with them before beginning to explore again.
Eventually, it was fully dark out (except for the lights illuminating the fair) and people began to leave.  You were about to suggest that you and Nick leave, but just as you were about to speak, you noticed the Ferris wheel.  This could be a chance to share a really romantic moment with Nick, and who are you to pass that up?
“Hey, Nick?” You addressed him, and he turned his head to face you, “Ride the Ferris wheel with me?” You questioned, to which he agreed.  You slipped your arm out of his and took his hand instead, leading him towards the short line.  You both waited until you were at the front of the line.  You handed the man controlling it your tickets and he stopped the wheel from moving so you and Nick could get on.
You huddled close to him, watching as the Ferris wheel started and you started moving.  You looked at the ground as it got further and further away from you until you were at the top.  You came back down again, resting your head on Nick’s shoulder as you went down backwards.
You came back to the top of the wheel soon again, and it completely stopped once Nick and you were at the top.  It was silent for a moment until Nick spoke, “You look so beautiful right now, (Y/N).”  He stated.
“Well, you look very handsome, Nick.”  You grinned at him, placing a hand on his thigh.  He put his hand over yours, using his other to caress your cheek.  His eyes examined your face, making you blush.  The look on his face was soft and sweet, and it made you feel secure.
“I love you so much.” He practically whispered, and your eyes opened wide.  You and Nick had been dating for almost 3 months, but neither of you had said “I love you” yet, although you both knew that you did.  You could barely contain how happy you were, and you pressed your lips into Nick’s, placing your teddy bear on the floor so you could wrap your arms around his neck.
His hands found their place on your waist, and your lips moved together in sync.  It was perfect- the first “I love you” in your relationship happened atop a Ferris wheel, resulting in a sweet kiss.  It was like a scene out of a movie, and it felt unreal.  You weren’t sure if you were dreaming or not, but you just decided to cherish this moment.
You only stopped kissing as soon as it was time for you and Nick to get off, so you disconnected and grabbed your teddy bear, exiting the Ferris wheel and stepping back onto the ground.
The both of you barely stepped 6 feet away from the wheel before you pulled him in for another kiss, saying “I love you too, Nicholas Scratch.” as you pulled away.  He turned and wrapped an arm around your shoulder as the two of you began to head back to your house.
As you were leaving, you noticed Sabrina looking at you.  You could tell she saw the both of you kissing on the ferris wheel, and she would want to know all the details the next day.  You simply laughed and winked at her before going through the exit.
What a wonderful night.

Nicholas Scratch x Reader
Requested by @cxxl-gall:”Idk if you do requests but you should do a reader x nick from season 2 sabrina where he gets jealous over Harvey constantly making a point on how they used to date because i was living for that “Harry” “It’s Harvey” shit lol”
Based off season 2 but I changed a few things, I hope that’s okay. Don’t come for me lol
Tumblr media
You were all helping your cousin Sabrina with her problem with the Dark Lord. Word got out that the Dark Lord has returned in his angelic form. And that he wants Sabrina to be his Queen. Your stomach churned as you took in the news Ambrose told you all. Your Aunties were obviously against it and vowed to do everything it takes to protect Sabrina as well as you and Ambrose. Your boyfriend Nick offered to help and came to your house pretty quickly.
“We’ll built a protection around the house.” Auntie Zee said holding her cigarette.”Chop chop. Nicholas, you can put those strapping shoulders of yours to good use and help.”
Nick squeezed your hand before joining Ambrose at the front yard. You watched anxiously as they built a protection. “(Y/N), we need to find out where in Greendale the Dark Lord is.” Nick said, touching your shoulder. “The more we know, the more prepared we’ll be.”
“Okay, I’ll tell Sabrina.” You said.
“(Y/N)!” Harvey called out as he got out of his truck alongside Theo and Roz.
“Harvey! Guys.”
“Harry.” Nick said with an unamused look.
“It’s Harvey.”
“You guys, what are you doing here? It’s not safe.” Sabrina said coming forward.
“Are you the real Sabrina?” Harvey said taking cautious steps forward.
“What do you mean?”
“Or are you the Sabrina that tried to kill us and turn us into vegetables?” Roz said.
“Yeah, but don’t worry I killed her.” Theo said.
“Oh no, that was someone else, that was something else.” Sabrina assured them.
“What the hell is going on?” Harvey asked you.
“The Dark Lord is in Greendale and he wants to jumpstart the Apocalyspe by opening the gates of hell which are apparently also in Greendale.” You explained. You probably sound crazy but at least your friends believe you now.
“Shit.” Theo said in disbelief.
“I think it’s in the mines.”
“If it’s in the mines. then I think we can help.” Harvey said.
“No offense, farmboy. But you’re gonna wanna sit this one out.” Nick said annoyed at Harvey already.
“Yeah, i wasnt really talking to you Nick, I was talking to (Y/N).” He said his comeback. “Let us help, let us find the gates of hell. At least.”
“(Y/N), they’re mortals.” Nick tried to make you change your mind.
“It’s okay, Nick. Harvey’s got this. And so does Roz and Theo.” You said.
“If you can find the gates, that would be great. If you can find a way to keep it from opening, that would be even better.” Sabrina said.
“Sabrina! (Y/N)! Get inside the house.” Auntie Zee yelled.
“Be careful and stay in touch.” You hugged Harvey, unknowingly Nick was glaring at Harvey. Then you hugged Roz and Theo. And Sabrina did the same before they all left in Harvey’s truck.
“What about me?” Nick turns to you and caressed the side of your face.
“You be careful too. Stick by the shadows. Please be careful.” You said before leaning up to kiss him.
“I will return to you, Spellman.” He said as he watched you leave.
Two hours later, Nick returned to your house. He was at the kitchen table, reading up on some things from the Demonomicon that might be useful for later. You didn’t even know he was here. You just got out of the bath and put your robes on about to go get a glass of water when you saw your boyfriend.
“Nick. When did you get here?” You said in surprise.
“Not long ago.” He said quietly, still reading the book.
You came up from behind him and wrapped your arms around his neck. You kissed his cheek and he leaned into your head on his shoulder. “What’s wrong? You’re sad.” You said as you can tell people’s emotions with your abilities.
“I just can’t believe you sent Harry to find the gates of Hell. Don’t you trust me to do it?” He said as he rubbed your hand.
“It’s Harvey. And of course I trust you. I just, thought that Harvey knew those mines better than anyone else.”
When he didn’t say anything, you decided to tease him. “You don’t have to be jealous, Nick.” The moment you said that, he pulled you over so that you sat on his lap. Your arms, still wrapped around his neck. He had a tight grip around your waist as he looked into your eyes. You felt your heart race as he kissed your nose.
“It’s clear that he still loves you.” Nick said softly, pushing away a strand of hair from your face. “He used to always think about how he’s better for you than me. His head is full of thoughts of you whenever you’re around him. And it just makes me pissed. That farmboy doesn’t know his boundaries.”
“Was he thinking of me earlier?”
“No.” Nick said, realizing Harvey hasn’t thought about you for days lately.
“That’s cause he likes Roz. Harvey and I, we’re done. There’s no reason he should think about me anymore. Oh and maybe stop reading his mind.” You said, stroking his cheek. “We’re over. I still have love for him but that’s only because I care for him. He’s my friend. Anyway, he’s with Roz now. He loves her and I love you. I love you so much. No one can ever make me change my mind about you.”
“I’m sorry. I’m such a dick. I love you more than anything else in this world, baby.” Nick leaned his head against yours.
“You’re it, Nick. You’ll always be it for me.” You said as you kissed his lips and he leaned into it.
“God, I’m so in love with you, (Y/N) Spellman. I’m so lucky to love you and to have you.” He said kissing your face everywhere, making you laugh.
“Okay, enough, enough. We need to go stop the gates of hell from opening, remember?” You laughed.
“Hell can wait.” He murmured against your lips.
You weren’t sure about Nick in the beginning. But as time goes on, you noticed that he truly does love you. He’s protected you from harm many times and helped you when you were struggling, even got expelled for you and now he’s even helping your cousin Sabrina fight the Dark Lord. He’s it. You can’t see yourself with anybody else. Not even Harvey. Harvey will always be apart of your life but he’s the past. You didn’t think it was possible to love someone else but then Nick showed up in your life. And he opened up new doors in your life. He showed you what love is. And you are so lucky to love him too.

omg...was this good? i’m not sure hahaha i did my best. Sorry if it’s not good haha I hope you like it.

Staying Up - Nicholas Scratch
Tumblr media
word count: 3902 warnings: some swearing nightmares, themes of suicide but it’s very light summary: (y/n) has had horrible nightmares that keep her up at night, and her best friend notices.  Nicholas Scratch, being the man he is, decides to stay with her so she isn’t so alone to deal with them {a/n}: this is my first CAOS imagine and I'm nervous based on this song
[ how can i sleep if i don’t have dreams i just have nightmares // how can it be I still believe something is out there ]
It was dark, and cold.  That was all you could tell from where you were.  Looking down, you realized that you were barefoot, standing on the forest floor.
Shaking your head, you stood, looking around to see trees, surrounding you, their branches nearly blocking out the moon’s gentle light.  Making the atmosphere blacker than Satan’s soul.  That is, if he had one.
“Hello?” You asked in a quiet voice.  Why were you here? Why didn’t you remember walking here?
You took a few steps, wincing as you stepped on twigs and leaves as you walked, but you’d rather endure it and find out what’s going on than worry bout finding shoes.
Magic, you thought, magic should do the trick.  And with a simple spell, a ball of flame erupted in the palm of your hand, a slight warmth radiating off of it and comforting you.  You held your arm out in front of you, palm up, lighting the way as you walked.
“Hello? Anyone?” You called again, no longer expecting an answer.
Tonight was not a good night to be in nothing but your nightgown.  The breeze was threatening you, making goosebumps rise on your skin and your teeth chatter a bit.  You could see your hand, and the flame in it, trembling as you shook.
It wasn’t until you could see your breath in front of you that something felt utterly… off.
Taking it all in again, you looked around with worry on your brow, this wasn’t right.  You shouldn’t be here, you should be at home, in bed.
“Hello?” You whispered out once more, but the word felt weak, and quiet coming from your quivering lips.
“(y/n),” Someone called, but their voice was hushed, and familiar.  “(y/n) this way”
You blindly followed the voice, not thinking twice about who they were or what they wanted, it didn’t matter in the moment.
“A little further, (y/n),” They told you.  You were certain it was a female.  “Come a little closer”
You neared a large tree that you recognized, you knew you’d seen it somewhere. But you couldn’t place where.
Standing there, in front of it, in a long white silky nightgown, was you.  You were looking right back at yourself.
“(y/n),” She spoke with a menacing smile, folding her hands in front of herself.  “So glad you could make it”
“Wh-what?” You stammered, looking around, completely confused if you weren’t already, at what was going on.
Your other self raised one perfectly polished pale hand up above herself, gesturing to the branches of the tree.  In it were many hanging girls.
All dangling in fine silk white nightgowns, heads bowed over the noose, locks of (y/h/c) hair hanging in front of their corpse faces.
“We’ve been waiting for you, (y/n)”
You shot up in bed with a harsh gasp, breathing in deeply while crying, and ending up getting all choked up from not being able to stop your crying.  You threw the sheets off of you, hot from your nightmare, but freezing from it’s lasting effects.
As swiftly as you could, which wasn’t much, you made your way to the bathroom in your dorm, feeling lucky you didn’t have roommates.  Surely they wouldn’t appreciate you being up every night in the middle of the night to wash your face and calm yourself down.  Panic attacks and cry sessions in your bathroom had been quite frequent lately, ever since the nightmares started a week or so ago.
You turned the faucet to cold water, giving it a second before cupping your hands under the stream, splashing and wiping your face until you felt like you were no longer sweating.  A few remaining tears slipped down your cheeks as you stared at yourself in the mirror.
You looked ghostly.
It took awhile for you to make it back to your bed, stumbling with a bit of reluctance.  You knew if you fell asleep again, the nightmares would plague your dreams once more, and you wondered if it was even worth trying to sleep the rest of the night for.
You were exhausted, sure, but you would be in the morning from your rough night anyways.
Settling on some reading, you thought maybe it would ease you back to rest.
When you walked to the lunch table the next day, Nicholas couldn’t help but furrow his brows at you.  He’d never seen you look so… disheveled.  You were dressed nice, as always.  A gothic dress with a pretty white lace collar and black lace stockings, something you often wore on days you had classes.
But your hair was in a messy bun on the top of your head, and your face scarce of makeup, which was very rare for you.  He stared at you as you so casually sat in front of him at your table, as you always did, greeting him in a mumble.
“I’m sorry, what was that?” He asked, leaning closer to hear you better.
“I said g’morning, Nicky” You repeated, your eyes barely staying open.
“My Satan (y/n), what’s gotten into you? Are you feeling alright?” He asked, and when you didn’t answer, deciding instead to try and focus on eating the fruit you’d brought with you to the table, he asked again.  “(y/n), why do you look like you haven’t slept in ages?”
“Maybe because I haven’t” You told him, intending to be rude, but you came off as helpless.  Nicholas frowned, not understanding.  If there were professionals at sleeping, you would’ve been one of them.  You used to miss classes because you’d sleep through the whole day, what could possibly stop you from your bed now?
“What do you mean, you haven’t?” Nicholas jumped into protective mode, like he often did when you had any sort of issue with anything.  You smiled at him softly, adoring the way he tried so hard to take care of you.
Even if he was only a friend, he was a damn good one, and he had to know by now how much you truly loved him.
“Nightmares,” You admitted softly, not wanting anyone else to hear.  You didn’t want your peers to think you were weak, or a child.  But Nicholas didn’t think that at all.  “Every night it seems like… just… horrible nightmares” You were staring at your food dish, prodding at the pieces of fruit with your fork.
You missed how Nick frowned at you, a deep guilty expression settling on his face.  He didn’t want you to lose sleep over bad dreams, but he didn’t know how to help you either.
“It’s like… it’s like they’re visions,” You told him, finally meeting his eyes.  “And I’m always so lost I can never tell what’s happening, and then as soon as I piece it all together… I’m awake”
“(y/n)...” He sighed, reaching across the table to take your hand.  “That’s horrible, what can I do?”
“That’s the thing, there’s nothing to do,” You answered defeatedly.  “I’ve tried it all, spells and curses, candles and chants, every urban legend, sleeping naked, in a pentagram, nothing works” You sighed softly and shrugged your shoulders.
“There must be something,” Nicholas stated.  “Something this… mundane can’t be incurable”
“Well let me know if you think of anything” You muttered disbelievingly.  Not because you didn’t think he couldn’t help you, but you didn’t think that you could be helped.
And when the idea came to him, he didn’t miss a beat to volunteer.
“I’ll stay with you”
You blinked, thinking maybe you’d heard him wrong, but he didn’t correct himself or retract the offer.
“What?” You mumbled, almost not believing that he meant it.
“I’ll stay with you, tonight,” Nicholas repeated.  “That way you aren’t alone, and if something happens… then I’ll be there to help you get some sleep”
“Really?” You asked, a hopeful smile stretching across your lips.  Nicholas nodded.
“Yeah, of course,” He assured.  “Whatever you need”
The warlock smirked a bit but as a grin broke across your features his smile was uncontainable.  You were the sun, and he was just a lucky bastard that got the chance to bask in your shine.
When nightfall came, you went about your usual routine.  A warm shower and a silk set of button down pajamas and pants, then brushing the tangles out of your hair as it dries.
Nicholas was knocking on your door, not too much later, and when you answered you smiled at him being there in his own pajamas.
“Our first slumber party, Nick” You teased him, letting him inside your room.
He’d been there a few times before, but only for short periods of time.  Picking you up for class or breakfast, and dropping you back off after.  Technically there were rules against co-ed roommates, but it had never been enforced.  And you didn’t have roommates that could snitch on you either.
“Hope you’re ready for the worst sleep of your life” You added, and Nick chuckled slightly, wandering in and looking around your room a bit.
“I’m sure it can’t be that bad,” He told you, smiling sweetly, and you smiled over your shoulder at him as you organized a few things.  “So, do you have music? Or incense maybe? Some sort of ambience for the room?”
“I was going to put my incense out… I suppose music is a good idea” You cast a quiet spell, snapping your fingers and the record your record player began to spin, the needle dropping perfectly on the first track.  A quiet piano-based song filled the room with soft music as you tried to find a good scent to help you sleep.
“I would suggest lavender,” Nick offered, and you nodded, placing them on your bedside table in their little jar.  You cast a silent spell on them as well.  “What was that?”
“Just to make them last longer” You replied, climbing into bed.
Nick wandered around to the other side, pulling back the covers and laying down next to you.  You watched his movements as he got comfortable before reaching over to turn off your lamp
As you laid on your side, facing him, you couldn’t help but stare.  His hair was a soft mess of curls that flopped over his forehead slightly, something you rarely, if ever, saw.  His eyes looked greener in the dark, and you wanted to trace your fingers across his jawline.
“This won’t be weird, will it?” You asked hesitantly.  You didn’t want to make it weird by addressing it, but you also wanted to make sure he was still comfortable with the plan.  Nicholas shook his head, smiling at you and somehow it managed to soothe some of your anxiety.
“Not at all,” He told you.  “We can talk, you know, we don’t have to just go straight to sleep and call it a night”
“Okay…” You trailed off, trying to rack your brain for something, anything to say at this point.  “I don’t know what to talk about”
Nicholas chuckled, shaking his head.  “Me either”
“Okay…” You repeated, staring down at your hands that were wringing together.  “What now? You stare at me until I fall asleep?”
He chuckled at that, shaking his head a bit as you as a bright smile fell upon his lips.  You couldn’t help but smile back, he was infectious like that.
“Why don’t we talk about those dreams you’ve been having?” He suggested.  “What’s been happening in them that terrifies you so much?”
You hesitated for a moment, mouth opening and closing as you tried to figure out what to tell him that wouldn’t make you sound cowardly.
“What is it?” He asked, catching your reluctance to open up about it.  “(y/n), I’m not gonna be cruel, it’s just me”
“It always starts with me heading somewhere, like I know where I’m going, but I have no idea where I am, or where I’m going or what’s happening-”
“Hold on hold on… take a breath,” Nicholas said calmly, his hand resting on her arm, and she gripped his wrist just to ground herself before speaking again.  “It’s just you and me, you’ve got nothing to worry about”
That’s exactly what I’m worrying about, she thought to herself, but kept it that way, herself.
“Last night, I dreamt that someone was calling for me, like they were guiding me towards them.  And when I got there… it was me… hanging in a tree”
Nick rose his brows in surprise, but didn’t say anything right away, instead taking a moment to process so he could figure out the right thing to say.
“So many of myself in the tree- t-tied up in nooses-”
“Alright- alright come here,” Nicholas opened up his arms, and you let him pull you in close.  “None of it’s real, I know it feels like it, and I want to help you, but you have to know they’re just nightmares”
You nodded, and pulled out of the hug, getting settled back on your side of the bed.
“Thanks for staying with me tonight, Nicky”  He nodded before she shut her eyes to try to get some sleep.  He smiled softly at her, hoping, praying to Satan that she could get some good sleep tonight.
Before she fell asleep, she reached her hand out and clasped it around his, holding on with just enough grip to let him know she needed him.
The calmness in the room remained for a few hours, and Nick himself fell asleep after a little while of stroking his thumb over the back of your hand to soothe you, and as you slept you seemed fine, for a little while.
Just as he was sleeping comfortably, he was awoken from a shove to the chest, and a blood curdling scream.  He was awake instantly, mostly from the wind knocked out of him when you had hit him, but he realized you were still asleep.
There were tears streaming down your cheeks, and you were whimpering as you thrashed around in the sheets.
Nick sat up right away, taking her by the shoulders and gently shaking her in hopes of waking her up, and when that didn’t work, he started calling her name.
When that didn’t work and the tears continued to roll down her cheeks, he began to panic.
Not knowing what else to do, he muttered a quiet incantation, shut his eyes, and gripped her hands in between his.
You were screaming, so loud, hoping to be heard before the undead versions of yourself could shove you off the cliff and into the unknown oblivion below.
“Please! You don’t have to do this!” You were begging for your life as you cried fearfully.  Your hands clasped in front of you innocently.
“We do, (y/n),” One of your pale and dead eyed look alike’s spoke.  “With death, comes rebirth”
Panic rose in your chest as your breathing became rapid and chaotic, trying to calm your thoughts and breathing all at once, which only made both become more difficult.
“Please-!”
Just as you were about to scream again, someone appeared in from her, effectively cutting off all of her thought processes.
“Nick?” She mumbled, not believing he was here right now.  “How did you-”
“(y/n), this isn’t real, you’re dreaming” He said quickly, hands holding you by your arms.  But you were still looking at your corpse-selves behind him.
“Wh-what?”
“You’re dreaming right now, I used a spell to come get you-”
“Oh my God Nick they’re trying to kill me! Get me out of here!” You cried, barely even hearing what he was saying, far too focused on the clones behind him.
“(y/n), listen, focus,” Nick spoke up, making you look at him.  “This is just a nightmare, okay? No one can hurt- oh shit”
Just as he was planning to take her hand and use the spell to wake them both up and get out of her horrible dream, the lookalike (y/ns) stalked towards them.
Before he could spit out a spell to make them disappear, they were falling off of the cliff, and crashing into the water below.
Nick grabbed you by your arms, pulling you up to the surface and gasping for breath.
“Am I dead?” You asked right away, and he shook his head, takin your face in his hands and looking you over.
“We’re gonna wake up now”
“What-?”
You shot up in bed with a gasp, feeling your breath catch in your throat as you realized you’d been crying.  Just as you were wiping them away, you felt a hand set on your shoulder, turning you around.
“Nicholas?” You whimpered, and before you could say anything fell into his arms, crying quietly into his shoulder.
“Shh… it’s okay, you’re awake now, it’s alright”
“I really thought this was gonna work” You cried, and he rubbed your back calmingly.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart,” Nick murmured, setting his chin on top of your head as he cradled you.  “Can I get you anything? What can I do?”
“Just…” You leaned back to look at him, and his hand came up to cup your cheek, thumb brushing away a few stray tears.  “Just don’t leave”
Nick smiled sadly at her, both his hands cupping her face now and drying her tears.  He was going to say something, but now he couldn’t remember what exactly.
Your crying stopped, but your eyes were still watery, and you found yourself just staring at him.  Your hands held his wrists, and pulled his hands down off your face.
“You want to go back to sleep?” He asked, and you nodded, letting him pull back the sheets and adjust them around you.  All the while you kept on staring at him as he settled back into his side of the bed.  “(y/n/n) are you alright?” He asked you worriedly when you’d just been looking at him silently.
“Yeah… I just…” You trailed off, biting down on your lip as your brows furrowed with thought.  “Nick?” “Yeah?” He looked at her worriedly now too, a crease between his brows as his eyes glanced over her.  “Are you-?”
Before he could ask if you were alright, you leaned over and pressed your lips against his, fingers curling into his shirt and holding the kiss for a moment, before abruptly pulling away.
“I’m sorry- I-I don’t know why I-”
“It’s alright” Nick waved a dismissive hand before cupping your cheek and pulling you back in for another kiss, lips moving over yours like they’d already done so a million times.
You melted against him completely, letting him take over.  The kisses easily turned from soft to passionate in a matter of seconds.  Seconds turned to minutes which felt like hours until you finally pulled away to catch your breath.
“Why’d you do that?” He asked, pushing a strand of your hair back behind your ear, revealing the blush on your cheeks.
“Because… you helped me so much, and you’re here for me whenever I need you,” You answered unsurely, your nerves making your stomach do flips.  “I just wanted to repay you…?”
“That sounded more like a question than an answer,” Nick said with a smirk on his lips.  “So why’d you do it then?”
“You kissed me too” You argued, although it was a weak argument.
“Right, because I liked it, and I like you.  So again, why’d you do it?”
You couldn’t bring yourself to admit it out loud, as much as you wanted to, as much as he made butterflies flutter around in your stomach.
“What, you’re too shy to tell me?” He asked, smirk still present, but you still didn’t look too sure about admitting it.  “You’re not gonna tell me are you?”
“I- Look, Nick it’s just a lot to unpack-”
“Your crush on me is a lot to unpack?” He asked with a teasing tone in his voice.  Your jaw dropped open as you stared at him in disbelief.
“Nicholas!” You hissed, scolding him, but he just chuckled, and wrapped his arms around you to pull you closer.
“Come on, (y/n/n), just admit it,” He murmured, and you shook your head a playful smile on your lips as you stared up at him from under your lashes.  “You’ve got a crush on me” He singsonged quietly.  You rolled your eyes, pushing him back but he just drew you in closer again.  “Is it that hard to say?”
“Who says I have anything to say anyways?” You asked, quirking an eyebrow.
“Are you gonna admit it or not?” He asked, and you couldn’t help the smile that stretched across your lips.  “Come on sweetheart, you can do it” He teased, but you pretended to seal your lips shut, and shake your head.
“I don’t know what you want me to say because I don’t have anything to say” You said and shrugged a shoulder, eyes wandering the room, but they landed on his again moments later.
“That’s really too bad, (y/l/n)” He said, hooking your chin between his thumb and index finger so you’d look at him.
“Oh yeah? Why’s that?” You asked with a big grin.
“Because I’d maybe like to kiss you again,” Nick said, and your smile only widened as you leaned in close to him, eyes almost closing before Nick gently pushed you back and tilted his head away.  “But…”
“But?” You repeated in a disappointed voice.
“But, I’m not going to do that if you don’t admit you’ve got feelings for me”
You gaped at him, and now he was grinning at you.  That annoying shit eating grin.  And you knew he was waiting for you to just admit it already.
“Fine, Nick,” You sighed, and rolled your eyes before looking at him again.  “I… like you.  A lot… and as more than a friend”
He smiled at you, bringing you in close to him again.
“Wasn’t that hard, now, was it?”  He murmured, before softly kissing you.  You smiled against his lips, hands sliding around the nape of his neck, a leg hooking around one of his.
“See, I knew you were gonna be all cocky about it,” You said, pulling away and making him frown.  “This is why I can’t tell you these things”
“Oh, so there’s more to tell?” Nick teased, and you rolled your eyes.
“You’re insufferable, Nicholas” You sighed, but he pressed a chaste kiss to our lips.
“And yet you love me anyways?”
“I didn’t say that-”
“But you do?” He asked again, and the look in your eyes gave it away.
“I’m tired,” You yawned and cuddled your face into his chest, wrapping your arms around his torso.  “Can’t we just go back to sleep?”
Nick smiled down at you, holding you close and pressing a kiss to the crown of your head.
“Of course,” He said quietly as you settled in against him comfortably.  “And you can tell me just how much you love me when you’re ready”
Giggling into his chest, you whispered quietly, “I definitely like you far more than I should, Nicholas Scratch”
He smiled with pride to himself, his fingers running up and down your spine rhythmically.
“Love you too, sweetheart,” He replied confidently.  “Sleep well”
And you certainly would.
well that was my first nick imagine! hmu with feedback and if you want to be on the taglist for him

The Move
Gavin Leatherwood x Youtuber!Reader
Tumblr media
[Not my gif.]
Source: @limeland
Warning(s): none
A/N: This is for a request that was made.
Masterlist
Dating Gavin had been the highlight of your almost two years, right after getting to do fun videos on youtube. In his core he was caring, he was also funny, understanding, and so many more things you'd never have time to finish listing. He really did fill in the gaps you had, and vice versa. The two of you wouldn't consider yourselves a match made in heaven, yet you somehow molded with eachother in a way that fit perfectly.
Your youtube followers loved your dynamic as well. They enjoyed watching videos that featured Gavin were supportive of your relationship. After months of visiting eachother and staying at the other's places you decided it was just best to move in together. Gavin gave you the idea of making a house tour video and it sounded fun letting the viewers be a part of this change in your life. After months if looking for the right place you finally moved. You and Gavin took your things and his from both apartments into the new condo. With the boxes in their perspective rooms and some things unpacked you decided to film your video.
"Hey guys, so you have been asking when I'll post my next video and I wanna let you know it'll be real soon. I've been pretty busy lately. Gavin and I moved in together and I am about to take you on a tour."
You turned the camera and started at the entrance.
"So this is where we start. Got a lil' coat closet of to the right here. And then we walk into the living room." You pointed your camera towards the said area and found Gavin by the window.
"As you know this is baby, my Gavin. He wants to look cool for you guys."
Gavin chuckled and waved, "What's up guys, it's baby, (Y/N)'s Gavin."
"Look at you trying to be a pretty boy."
"Am I the prettiest boy?" Gavin asked cocking his head to the side.
You shook your head smiling, "No, but keep on dreaming."
"That's it," Gavin took your camera from you, "I'm the captain now." He walked around the living room. "This is where I'm gonna beat Ross at monopoly on game night."
"Oh my god Gavin get over it," you said laughing. It wasn't a secret that Gavin could get competitive but there were times he wouldn't let go of a loss. You turned the camera in his hands to the direction of the kitchen.
"This is our kitchen, where Gavin and I will cook and be all domestic."
"Excuse you, what do you mean we?" Gavin asked annoyance lacing his voice.
You rolled your eyes, "This is the kitchen where Gavin will do all the cooking."
"That's right no misinformation in this video!"
You shook your head and grabbed Gavin's hand going around the condo.
"We actually have the necesseties already unpacked and set up," Gavin said as he pointed the camera around.
You nodded in agreement, "We got the bedroom, kitchen, and bathrooms set up. Speaking of necesseties." You danced in excitment before opening a door in the hall. "Check out my office slash studio I guess!"
You ran in with Gavin following. He sat down on the swivel chair and spun in it showing the entire room, "Gonna be honest we set this room up first."
You beamed at the camera, "And I love it. In my old apartment I didn't have an extra room so all of this was off in the side of the living room."
"Now I have to go into a seperate room to pull (Y/N) away from her computer,"  Gavin jested.
You playfully glared at him, "Let's keep going." You took the camera from Gavin and trailed after him.
He chatted pointing out random features of the interior he liked. The two of you kept going until you reached the bedroom. "And this is where all that good good sleeping happens."
"Some marathoning can also be done here. So there will be days where we don't sleep much," you said turning the camera towards your TV. Your voice lowered a bit as you continued speaking, "Which is good cause, Gavin has a big hairy-"
"(Y/N)!" Gavin called his voice rising an octave from panic.
"Big Harry Potter collection, that's what I was gonna say," you exclaimed trying to explain yourself.
Gavin dramatically fell onto your bed trying to hide his smile in the thick comforter, "Watch it."
You held in your laugh while walking into the master bathroom, "Honestly, this bathroom is why I wanted the place, check this out." You sat in the bathtub and leaned back comfortably. "It's big enough that my chest and knees would both be under the water. I'm not one for baths but," you moved your face in closer to the camera beofre whispering, "Gavin has some really good face masks and scrubs I might have to try some."
"You don't have to whisper that, (Y/N), I already knew," Gavin said coming into the bathroom. You made room for him in the tub as he climbed in behind you. Once you leaned back against his chest the two of you talked about ideas on decorating. Soon the spacious tub was beginning to feel a bit tight. Gavin looked out the small bathroom window before speaking, "Why don't we show the viewrs why we really got this place."
You gave knowing smile, "Of course."
You and Gavin made your way out of the en suite and back into the bedroom. You moved towards the balcony and zoomed the camera lense just right.
From where you stood your overlooked the city and your veiw fell onto the horizon. The sun had begun setting and the colors being emitted were incredible. It was a blended mix of pink, peach, orange, purple, and that still blue sky. The scattered clouds reflected those same colors as well only adding to the exquisite color pallete painting the sky.
Gavin sighed wrapping his arms around you. Your head dropped against his shoulder turning to give his jaw a soft peck. Moments like these were worth all the odd hours trying to see eachother online. Especially when he was on his promotional tours. Now you would be together under the same roof, fully able to love and annoy the shit out of eachother.
You finally went back inside turning the camera to face you one last time.
"Ok, I hope you liked the tour of the new place. I'll totally post updates on instagram so look out for those! Don't forget to- ach!" you were suddenly cut off when you were hit by a pillow. You looked over at Gavin who was snickering off camera.
"Shit, babe I didn't think I that was gonna hit you so hard."
You turned back to your camera, "Gonna cut this short. Love you guys!" You quickly turned off the camera and went to deal with Gavin.

Gavin Leatherwood
Tumblr media
This is such a mood you have no idea...
You opened the door of your apartment, tossing your keys on the counter before plopping on the couch. Tears filled your eyes as you dealt with the frustration of your day-allowing it to process. You were easily overwhelmed, no matter how confident or comfortable you were at work. Being overwhelmed and filled with anxiety then turned into depression, which was even more frustrating to you. You hated when work and it’s problems followed you home. “Hey baby! I didn’t hear you come in!” Gavin smiled, walking over to you. His voice and demeanor changed when he realized that you were visibly upset, “oh hun...what’s wrong?” He whispered, bending down to be at eye level with you. You cried as he brushed back your hair, listening to you try and explain what was bothering you,“Don’t move. Stay there okay?”
You laid there as you heard him running around the apartment, the bath tub running as he came back to pick you up bridal style. You leaned into his chest, taking in the smell of his cologne. He helped you undress and into the tub and left briefly before returning with a glass of red wine. You breathed slowly, collecting bubbles closer to your chest as you played with them childishly. Gavin sat besides you on the floor, “Feel better?” He asked, caressing your cheek gently. You kissed his wrist, nodding “thank you...” you whispered. Gavin smiled, kissing your lips gently “anything for you...sorry you had such a rough day.”

An Abundance of Love (Nick Scratch imagine)
Tumblr media
Request from anon: Nick x reader, where it’s all just soft shit. Nick is reading a book aloud to the reader, his head in their lap. They’re running their hand through his hair, before interrupting his reading with kisses. Maybe declarations of love that fluster him cause it’s out of nowhere
Words: 1408
A/N: The quotes are actually real and come from one of my favorite book, « An Abundance of Katherine’s » by John Green. If you have any Nick Scratch request, don’t hesitate to send them in !
It was in the early lights of a quiet morning. The Academy had not yet woken up and snuggled in one of the room were two lovers, enjoying their time alone, away from the noises of witchery troubles. There, on the bed, two souls in complete serenity. One of them was sitting against the bedhead, the other was laying on her lap, a book between his hands. The sun was starting to shine through the blinds, its vibrant golden color reflecting on them, bringing just enough light to be able to read.
”He remained convinced that romantic behavior was basically monotonous and predictable, and that therefore one could write a fairly straightforward formula that would predict the collision course of any two people. But he was worried that he might not be enough of a genius to make the connections“ He spoke, his voice the only sound breaking the silence.
The girl beside him was smiling, listening in a bath of peacefulness and utter contentment. Absorbed by his words, her eyes were closed. They had countless memories together, of shenanigans and battles they fought, which she would never be able to forget. But this was different, this was what she called memories moments of true happiness. Moments when her mind completely let go of all worries and problems and replaced them with a feeling of complete love for him. The simplest moments were building her strongest and most beautiful souvenirs, just as it did for him.
As he continued to read, she tenderly stroked his hair. Her eyes still shut, her smile still big, her fingers were running through his curls. The man made no move to stop her, instead took a second to take in a happy sigh before getting back to reading, a smile of his own on his face.
“This is almost too nice to be true” She said in a whisper, as if the sound of her own voice would be enough to make their moment disappear.
“What is ?” He asked, putting the open book on his chest and looking back at her.
“You and me, here, without any monsters to fight”
“Without the world ending” He added, joking.
She smirked.
“I keep on expecting someone to burst through my door to get us somewhere, to fight someone or something”
“Not today” He reassured her. “Besides, it’s too early.”
He took one her hand, bringing it to his lips and kissed it softly.
“This is the first time in forever that we get to have time together, Y/N” He continued. “Enjoy it, because the world won’t stay so quiet forever”
“Maybe we should give up our powers and become mortals” She joked.
He winced at the suggestion, making her laugh.
“Like hell we are”
They look back at each other, one of her hand still clasped with his, the other stroking his hair. No works were spoken for a while. Silent electricity passed on through their gaze was enough to make her heart beat faster, fingertips like matches grazing her wrist with flame. An entire ocean of ink wouldn’t be enough to write down was they felt for each other. They were a starburst of light amongst the darkening dusk, all the stars in the sky condensed into a single point, a single stare they shared. Their love was everywhere; in the way their gazes lingered on one another, the way their voices became softer and in the shy grins they’d never worn before. In the conversation spoke in silence like this one.
Slowly, softly, she leaned down and kissed his lips. A million loving thoughts condensed into a moment.
“What was that for ?” He asked, his fingers running down her cheek.
She shrugged.
“I’m just ….” She started. “I’m happy. You make me happy”
He smirked, her confession bringing a new lightness to his heart.
“Just happy ?” He joked.
“What is more than happy ?” She wondered. “Because I feel like if I find a word stronger than that I’m gonna jinx it”
“Sometimes I wonder how you can be a witch and be so superstitious at the same time”
She rolled her eyes.
“Doesn’t it feels weird to you sometimes ?” She said seriously, diverting the conversation.
“What ?”
“This connection between us”
He sighed, moving to get more comfortable on her lap.
“I’ll admit that sometimes it scares me”
“Really ? Why ?”
“You’re giving me so much power over you” He started, his eyes fixed on the ceiling. “I guess … I’m scared of hurting you. I feel so lucky to have you, but sometimes I can’t help but wonder if this is real, if I’ve not just … bewitched you”
“Some call it bewitched” She told him. “I prefer to call it love”
“How do you know it’s love ?”
She pondered a minute, taking her time to answer his question.
“When I think of being alone, and I mean without you, I feel empty. Like a world without color. And when I’m with you, like right now, I’m no longer colorblind. I feel wiser, calm, at peace. I look at you, and I see my home. You know that warm bed you can’t get out of in the morning, that sensation of peace on a cozy, rainy Sunday, that place where people can drive you absolutely crazy one minute and make you feel like a precious treasure the next, this isn’t a place for me. It’s you”
She looked back at him in time to see him trying to hide his glossy eyes, warm with an emotion he knew he only felt for her.
“Nick, if what we have isn’t magic, then I cannot say what is” She muttered.
Suddenly, without warning, he threw the book aside, took her hands, and pushed her, making her fall on his chest. She laughed and he closed his eyes for a second, hoping he could memorize that sound, put it in a crystal glass in his mind and protect it forever. Then he stroked her cheeks affectionately before brushing a piece of hair, tucking it behind her ear. His hand stayed there, locked in her hair, his thumb stroking her skin softly. They could’ve remained in the same position forever, but like a magnet, he lifted her chin and brought her face closer and closer, their eyes glued to one another. With a silent statement, he sealed their lips together.
All he could focus on was how soft she felt against his mouth, how addictively she invaded all his senses. There was a raw emotion in the way his fingers cupped her head and he swore his heart skipped a beat when he felt her hands on his naked chest.
“If I remember correctly, you were supposed to read to me, Scratch” She whispered, her lips inches away from his.
He laughed, stealing yet another kiss from her.
“You’re too distracting, Y/L/N”
She glared back, rolling her eyes.
“Hm, excuse me sir but I’m not the one without a shirt on”
He sat up with his girlfriend still in his arms and grabbed the piece of clothing he had previously folded on a nearby chair.
“I can put it back on” He offered.
Before he could make another move, she took the shirt from his hands and threw it in a corner of her room.
“Don’t you dare” She answered with a wicked smile, making him chuckle.
She reached out behind him, taking the book he had disregarded earlier.
“Read to me ?” She requested with a cute voice he couldn’t resist.
He checked the clock on the bedside, making sure they still had time before class.
“C’mon” He conceded.
He let her go and waited until she was comfortably seated to get back to his initial position. His head on her lap, one of her hand in his hair, the other resting on his chest, he took the book back, turning the pages.
“Ready ?” He asked, taking a quick look at her.
“Always”
“Don’t distract me this time” He smirked.
“I can’t promise anything” She giggled.
Grinning, he started to read where he had left the story off. Once again she closed her eyes, letting her head fall back to enjoy the few last minutes they’ll have before getting back to reality, witchcraft and worlds colliding.
“Here’s to all the places we went. And all the places we’ll go. And here’s to me, whispering again and again and again and again… “
“I love you” She finished the quote.

Hurt: A Nick Scratch Imagine
Request from @thehappygrungelife: I would like to request a Female!reader x nick scratch, where reader is Sabrina's lost little sister (only a year or two), and they found each other again at the Academy. Reader is a way darker version of Sabrina, friends with the weird sisters but really close to her sister. Nick and reader are dating despite Sabrina and the Dark Lord (Satan) being against it. So he always punishes her physically until it gets too much and Nick sad to see his girlfriend like that breakup with her but finally they get back together (you can decide how :) )
Hope this is okay for you lovely, and enjoy x
Tumblr media
“What are you talking about?” Nick crossed his arms, taking in Sabrina’s words. It was bad enough that his friend didn’t approve of his relationship with her sister, but to be accused of this, of hurting her, was inexcusable.
Nick would never hurt Y/N Morningstar. She was everything to him. She was beautiful, he had thought so the first time he had seen her. Dragged out of Hell by her older sister, reunited with her father who attempted to welcome her as the second daughter of Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell.
Nick had almost laughed when Y/N looked at him like she was bored.
Y/N had decided not to stay in Hell after being rescued from the ninth circle. She had been trapped down there long enough, and it was clear to anyone the damage it had done. But Nick didn’t call it damage, he called it battle scars, only ones that no-one could see. Well, no-one but him, but even that had taken time.
She had blended in well at the Academy, finding a familiar darkness with the Weird Sisters. But she was still close with Sabrina, and it was through their sisterly bond that Nick had fallen in love with her.
They had been together for almost three months now, and Nick was due to take her out the following evening. He secretly hoped that it might be the night they finally indulged in each other’s bodies, the night Nick would finally be able to show her just how much he loved her.
He had come over to see her, but she wasn’t home, and so Sabrina had taken the opportunity to pull him aside, implying that they needed to talk. He knew she was just trying to be protective of her sister, but Nick couldn’t help that she was reiterating her father’s views.
Lucifer Morningstar certainly had had things to say about Y/N dating Nick.
Neither of them had really cared.
Until now, as Sabrina explained what she meant when she accused Nick of hurting the one person he had ever truly loved. “Lucifer is hurting her, Nick. She’s got these claw marks down her back. He’s punishing her for being with you.”
Nick felt his heart sink. “Why hasn’t she said anything?”
Sabrina shrugged. “Because she’s Y/N. She’s stubborn and self-righteous and headstrong. But she’s my sister and I care about her, which is why I’m telling you. Which is why whatever’s going on between you two needs to stop.”
“You can leave now Sabrina, thanks.” Nick and Sabrina turned at the sound of Y/N’s voice. She stood in the doorway, a stony expression on her face that both knew was reserved for those who had wronged her. Her sister got the hint, and made a quick exit, leaving Nick and Y/N alone. She looked at him. “So she told you.”
Nick walked over to his girlfriend. “Show me.”
Y/N sighed, before turning her back to him. Nick pulled down the back of her shirt, and felt physically sick at what he saw. Red lines ran through her perfect skin, tearing at it and at his heart. He accidentally brushed his finger along one of scratches, and felt her wince. It was seeing her hurt, seeing her in so much pain that made him say his next words, no matter how much they crushed him. “I think Sabrina’s right.”
Y/N turned, fear in her eyes. “What are you talking about?”
“I think we need to break up, Y/N.”
Nick hoped she would protest, that she would make some attempt to fight him. But for the first time since he had met her, she looked as if she hated him. He hated that look. He hated it even more when she spoke. “Go. Just go.”
That was a week ago. Nick thought he knew what Hell was before he had tried to live without Y/N, but his thoughts didn’t even come close to the week he had had. He had tried to call Y/N, wished for her to call him, but he never heard anything from her.
He had never realised how much he truly loved her until he didn’t have her anymore.
He knew deep down that he had done the right thing, that he was protecting her. But that didn’t stop him from regretting his actions. It took him another two days to realise how stupid he had been.
Nick was a fighter. So was Y/N. They always had been.
It wasn’t the first time they had faced Lucifer, nor it would be the last.
And Nick realised that he didn’t want to do it without Y/N by his side.
Which was why he made the decision to get her back.
The following day, he marched into the Academy, looking for her. When he laid eyes on her, he felt his heart beat fast, and he ignored the look of hatred on her face.
Instead, he strode over to her, taking her by surprise as he kissed her like he had never kissed her before.
Y/N’s hands slid into his hair as she fell into him, and for the first time in a week, Nick finally felt whole. When they parted, she looked at him. “What are you doing?”
“Winning you back.”
“But what about Lucifer?”
“We’ll figure it out. We always do. I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you too, Nick.”
That evening, Nick finally took her out on that date. That night, he finally showed her just what she meant to him.
And he promised to make sure that she would never be hurt again.

Summary: Y/N is new at the Academy of Unseen Arts, Nicholas takes an interest in Y/N but she doesn’t seem interested in him at all, until they are quickly paired up in group activities, and Lupercalia, will Y/n partake in this activity, or completely run out of there screaming her head off? Satan only knows whats gonna happen.
Tumblr media
The next night you were to meet up with Nick in the woods to conjure up the forest spirits, as you headed into the woods you were thinking about what Nick had told you the other night, he found you cute? That was impossible, he was always with different girls and flirting with them any chance he’d get, especially with the Weird Sisters, maybe this was all a prank they were pulling on you and he was in on it. You shook your head out of your thoughts. Realizing Nick was nowhere in sight, you would have thought he would be somewhere in the woods, but of course nothing. “Seriously? Again?” you said as you set your bookbag on the ground against a tree and the rest of the items you held in your hands. “Nick is always late, he’s probably flirting with Prudence now, or maybe hiding somewhere to laugh at me after they’ve pranked me,” you said setting things up for his arrival. You waited a few more minutes for Nick, it was almost the witching hour and he still had not arrived. “I guess I’ll have to do this myself.” You said.
You grabbed the items and started placing them in their rightful place, you opened your book and began to read what else was needed for the conjuring spell, you didn’t need Nick, you could do this on your own. You continued reading and looked at everything you had making sure nothing else was missing. “Alright, I think that’s it.” You set the book down and closed your eyes concentrating hard and began to chant the spell that was needed. “A sororibus orientis, a sororibus ad occidentem ad aquilonem et ad meridiem oppidi silva spirituum meum et vocavi te.” As you stood there chanting the spell, the wind began to roar, almost knocking you back. You continued to chant the spell and you could hear the whispers of the spirits, but something had gone wrong. You heard the screams of the spirits which caused you to quickly open your eyes and everything went silent again. “Y/n?” Nick said, standing there behind you with his eyes widened. “What do you think you’re doing!?” he shouted at you, “Are you insane?”
You rolled your eyes, and crossed your arms in front of your chest “You were late, so I had to do it myself, now thanks to you….I lost them and we’re going to get yelled at.” You said grabbing your bag and throwing it over your shoulder, “ Nick shut his eyes and let out a deep sigh, “You could have let in a forest demon, you know how dangerous that is? You’re lucky they disappeared when I got here, otherwise, something would have happened, and don’t you know you’re supposed to have TWO people to do this spell?” Nick continued yelling at you, he sounded disappointed. “Why do you even care anyway?” You said as you turned around and started walking back to school grounds, Nick followed behind you and took hold of your arm. “You do know that I care about you? you could have gotten hurt, or worse killed, a spirit demon is no joke y/n.” You stopped and sighed deeply, “You care about me?”
“Well of course I do, I mean we may not get along but you’re my friend.” He took your hand into his and brought it up to his lips placing a kiss on top of it. “Just promise me, don’t do anymore conjuring spells without me? we can try this again tomorrow.” He said letting go of your hand. “Alright, deal.” Both of you walked into the school and headed into your rooms. You closed the door behind you and smiled, “Something or someone has you all giddy, makes me want to puke.” Prudence said as she sat down at the edge of your bed crossing her legs. “So, wanna tell me?” You looked at Prudence and shrugged, “I think I’m starting to like Nick.” You placed your belongings inside of your trunk and began getting dressed for bed. “I felt something spark between us tonight, I think I’m gonna see how far this can go.” You said smiling. “maybe.” Prudence smirked, “And you’re sure you wanna take this thing to the next level? I mean, you know witches can’t have one partner, and Nick has a history.” You let out a deep sigh as you close your trunk. “Look, I know Nick is the type of guy who has this bad boy image, but I know he’s good inside, and maybe he’ll change.” Prudence stood up from your bed and chuckled. “You sure are hopeful, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” You watched Prudence leave and you got into your bed yourself and doze off smiling about what might become of you and Nick.

Let him go, pt.2
Tumblr media
Summary: When Nick decided to keep Y/N out of the loop regarding Lucifer Morningstar, he never imagined one of his worst fears would come to life - to lose her.
Warnings: ANGST
Word count: 2.2k
Part 1
“I can go in there.” I spoke up, annoyed sitting on the sidelines and being kept out of the loop. If Nick had anything to do with it, I’d have ended up either dead or in the church with the rest of them. I was lucky not to be at the Academy when the hunters came, even luckier I had found a pastime with a riveting Summoning and Bounding literature masterpieces.
“No. Not gonna happen.” Nick waved me off, not bothering to spare me a glance and I scoff.
“Why not?” Harvey raised an eyebrow, eyeing me with interest. He definitely had questions.
“Yeah…Why not?” Folding my arms across my chest, I tilt my head to the right ever so slightly with the faintest, coldest smile I could muster.
“Because I don’t want you there.” Nick’s lips press together and I roll my eyes, but Sabrina was faster than me with her reply.
“I’ll go. I was baptized with holy water, remember?” She smirked, shrugging my way.
“So was I.” I raise my hand, stating it a bit too bitterly. Jealousy isn’t easy, especially not when it’s between two women who greatly respect each other.
“I am half angel. I reckon I have a good chance to stop them.” Yet my mouth keeps moving as if I want to say YOU’RE NOT THAT SPECIAL SPELLMAN, but I don’t say it. I don’t, but I can sense someone’s in my mind, probing for answers. Usually I’d assume it’s the Weird sisters, but this is Ambrose. I just know it.
“NO. They despise nephillims more than witches!” Nick raises his voice, turning to me with a hostile look in his usually loving eyes. The hostility doesn’t come from anger or hate, it’s not animosity, rather worry. It’s fear. “I will.” Sabrina repeats with a sigh, glancing between Nick and me. His eyes remain on me, lips pursing as the eye contact breaks and I finally feel like I can breathe. “You’re not seriously gonna let her go alone, are you? It’s a suicide mission.” Harvey’s eyes wander to me, pleading. He wants me to go, especially after he heard of my roots – a half witch is usually less than impressive, but a half angel with witch blood is unseen. Well…until I appeared. “You don’t seriously think I tell her what to do, do you?” Nick smirks, shrugging it off. He watched them leave, his back turned to me and I felt uncomfortable for the first time since I’ve met him. Nick had let his girlfriend go, yet asked me to stay.
“I couldn’t…I can’t risk you. You’re all I have in this wretched life and if something happened to you, I don’t think I’d survive it.”
His words aimed for my heart and I flinch with the sheer intensity of the truth hidden within each, emotional syllable. It was the first time he had made me feel as if I matter since Sabrina came along. I felt loved. I felt needed.
It didn’t last.
A week later he and I parted ways.
Nick stayed true to his word, giving me space to breathe and he had his hands full with the new Sabrina and her wish to convert the coven into a church per her father’s view. She wanted to make a difference and while I agreed with some of the teaching, I didn’t fall prey to her charm. Something didn’t feel right and while I was expertly kept out of the loop, I had time to realize how much of my life revolved around Nick.
What little I had left of him felt as if it never existed.
I can’t lie and say he didn’t reach out a few times. It wasn’t a face to face talk, but I did get a few messages on my arm – a little secret we used to have. An enchanted pen to talk in class, when he was away for holidays. It was our way to always stay in contact and from what I’ve learned, he had given our secret away when he made the same pen and gave it to Sabrina. I was no longer our thing. It was just a thing.
“You really should be more careful with your thoughts.” Ambrose Spellman settles beside me, a small smile playing on his lips as if he isn’t here to reprimand me for the distasteful thoughts I’ve had about his cousin.
“Stop peering into my mind and you won’t be as insulted.” I shrug, turning my attention back to the book I’ve been studying. I have always been one of the best students at the Academy. I’d go as far as to claim I’m at the same level as Nick, if not better.
“You do realize Nick is miserable without you.” Ambrose leans on his elbow, smirking once he notices I closed my eyes. “He’s always talking about you. I’m genuinely concerned Sabrina will spell his mouth shut.” He chuckles, looking around as if to make sure we’re alone. “I mean, there’s an apocalypse happening and in an hour, yet he’s still only interested in threatening everyone not to tell you a single word about it.”
Snapping the book shut, I sit up straighter and turn to Ambrose. “What, in the name of Satan, are you talking about?!” The smallest of smiles appear on my lips, assumptions of it being a well-crafted lie making my heart remain steady. However, the smallest inkling of it being a truth thrashed my usually peaceful mind.
“Sabrina’s father, aka Satan, wants to make her his queen and from what I’ve realized, it is happening tonight and we made plans to trap the dark lord but I have a feeling it might not be as easy.” Ambrose pauses as he notices me pale and I’m sure I’m barely keeping a straight face at this point. “Everyone’s in it, but you. Even the mortals.” Ambrose leans back, having set the bait and he knows this will be the reason why I engage.
“We’ll be waiting. You might want to pop in for the coronation.” Ambrose raised both hands in mock surrender as if he didn’t just drop a major bomb my way. He made his way out of the library while I grabbed my bag and frantically searched for the pen.
CORONATION?!
No response.
NICK!!
No response. I know he sees it. I know he feels it. But if he knew me, he knew it would only provoke me. Just because we lost each other doesn’t mean I don’t love him – as a friend, as a woman. I need him, even if he doesn’t really need me back. He may think he does, but he doesn’t.
I am the one who needs his whispers and smiles. I’m the one who needs promises sweet as the touch of his hand. I was a slow dying flower, turning sour and untouchable when he found me. He saved me. And ever since then I’ve needed the darkness, the sweetness and even now I need the sadness and weakness coming from loving him. I need his voice to lull me to sleep, his fingers running through my hair, the tender touches that brought me peace.
I need him. It was dark enough, he saw me, he had me – he just didn’t want me. He made his choice and I know what that choice brings. He’ll do anything for Sabrina. It’s who he is, how he always wanted to love and he will risk everything.
At the end of the day, I’m the one who has nothing left to lose. He has everything to live for. I love him enough to let him go…to protect him while I do it.
With a snap of my fingers, a long, blood red dress wraps around my body. The lace weaves around my arms into long sleeves, the silk falling down to my feet. A slight chill runs down my spine as wind dances along my uncovered back and I smile – the dress is perfect. With a sigh, a spell the only earthly possession I care about onto my neck, the pendant with his initials resting just above my low-cut decollete.
“So you always have me close to you.” Nick smiles widely and my heart stops. He’s so beautiful. I wonder if he knows that he’s more than just a body though. He’s beautiful, inside and out. And he’s gifting me jewelry, something I’ve never had. How did he know?
Struggling to keep my tears in, I smile, looking down on the half a heart pendant. “I love it.”
I love you. I wanted to tell him. I did. I wanted him to know and to hell with it, but I couldn’t. To be so brave, to tell him what weighs on me is to risk losing him. He’d be uncomfortable around me if he didn’t feel it and I couldn’t lose him. Not now. Not ever.
Instead of waiting for an invite, I followed the screams.
“Lanuae Magicae.”
Transporting myself into the ballroom wasn’t the plan, but I had to hurry. And I was right to.
“Well played, Spellman.” I hear Nick’s voice, instinctively looking for him and it seems as if he had felt me too as he turns to me, our eyes meeting. The surprise passing his features made my lips twitch, wanting to smile. It’s inevitable – Nick always makes me smile. But our reunion is cut short, the prison they tried to hold Satan in falling apart and I step back, looking to Nick in a panic, but he’s looking at her. He always is. “You try and try to defeat me. I am the Great Satan that no prison may contain!” Ignoring how handsome Lucifer is, I close my eyes and swallow thickly. Opening them again, I look at him and every time I look at him I know. I know he’s never going to be mine. But I can make sure he has his happy ending. “I can’t restrain him for long.” Sabrina warns and I take a step closer while Nick speaks. I always believed he’d be back to me – that we’d become more in time and we’d work out. We’d be the couple everyone envies – the power couple. I always wondered how he looks at me with so much love and tenderness but holds not romantic feelings. “There’s nothing stronger than an Acheron.” Nick exclaims, panic written on his face, fear rising in his eyes and clouding his judgment.
“Incorrect, Mr. Scratch. The mightiest prison is the first one, created by the False God. The human body. Flesh and bone. The strongest and most sacred bindings in nature.” Lilith explains, her own fear evident as she looks to Lucifer who was ready to kill everyone in the room. “It has to be me.” Sabrina says and I hear him scream “No” as he used to do for me. He doesn’t want to lose her. He can’t. He’d do anything for her and I’d do anything for him. “I’m the best binder and conjuror since Edward Spellman. If anyone can keep Him trapped, it’s me.” He exclaims, but I shake my head and look back at him only to see anything but certainty in his eyes. He feels like he must do it.
“No.” I step forth, determined – more than he is. “I am the best binder and conjuror.” Smiling, truthfully, I speak before he can interrupt me. “You love her. I love you. This is a testament to how much. Don’t forget me.” I plead, keeping my eyes on him as his lips quiver and shock paralyzes him. “Carne teneantur tenere tenebrasque.” I begin without so much as blinking. I don’t want to miss a single moment of the last time I will ever see him. Nick is trashing against someone. They’re holding him back. He’s muttering something and I can’t understand what, my focus must remain untouched. “Palatium, carcere…” And my mind darkens.
Gasping, I find myself on the sidelines, my body no longer mine to control as I leap toward Sabrina only for my eyes to close with Ambrose’s spell. “A sleeping spell. Well done.”
I think to myself, keeping an ear out to the outside. I can hear them, but it’s distant.
“You’ve made a big mistake, little nephillim.” Lucifer appears and I roll my eyes at him.
“Shh.” I point up, telling him to listen which only insults him.
“HOW DARE YOU TELL ME TO SHUT UP?!”
“Gah, you’re annoying.” I groan, casting a spell to bind him but it doesn’t work.
“Really thought you’re in control? Think again, little one!”
“Shit!”
What I didn’t know is how they decided my fate after I’ve fallen. “What happens now?” Sabrina asks, watching Nick crying over Y/N’s body, calling for her, muttering spells like it would make a difference. “You won’t like it, I’m afraid.” Lilith frowns, a sincere look of compassion in the borrowed eyes of Mary Wardwell.
“You’re not touching her!” Nick growls, his eyes focusing on her pale face and dark red lips – his favorite lipstick from the past times she’d asked for his opinion. He always chooses maroon. He won’t be able to again.
“She’s not going to Hell with you. I will make an impenetrable room at the Academy.” Nick promised, his heart aching and breaking at the sight of his necklace resting on her chest. She wore it – even now.
“I’m afraid you don’t have a choice.” And that’s when Nick fell asleep too.
