FINNEY: he’s there to see you and make sure you were okay. You cooked some of his favorite food and he fell inlove with you again. Literally. He didn’t bring Gwen since she said she was going to her friend’s house for thanksgiving like Finn was. You fed Finn some food and he did the same for you while being flustered and shaking at how cute you looked.

VANCE HOPPER

VANCE: comes in your house yelling “HONEY IM HOMEE!!” 😒 THIS MF ONLY COMES IN YOUR HOUSE TO EAT YOUR FOOD AND SLEEP LIKE A GRANDPA- bro eats off your plate when you aren’t looking. So when he gave it to you, he prepared himself for a big tackle hug, and it finally came to him when you finish reading the card.

So when you figured out he almost burnt down your kitchen, you and him both were cooking the food and you both taste tested it to make sure it was good. At the end both of you ate good, and you both had an enjoyable moment where you were laughing at how billy almost burnt down your kitchen

GRIFFIN: he wants to cook for you just like Bruce. (Like father like son lol-) you were sleeping until 11 am since you started to smell the smell of food. And it actually smelled good. He made macaroni, ham, turkey, and corn bread. It was amazing and it made you full. Griffin was filled with pride and joy seeing you praise him unlike his mother did when he tried to cook for her when he was little. You and Griffin relaxed in silence until you both fell asleep.

So Sam is furious in the beginning of 5.20 that they are working with Crowley. He’s furious that Crowley refuses to include him in the mission to find their mystery demon (Brady) who knows where Pestilence is. Crowley tries to convince Dean not to trust Sam and to ditch him to interrogate Brady elsewhere, but Dean refuses and brings Brady straight back to Sam, trusting Sam to show restraint. Sam proceeds to lock Dean in a bathroom so he can go kill Brady, but is able to stop himself, and gets this private sense of victory about it as he gets to… return to the bathroom he just locked Dean in as a consequence of extending trust toward Sam. Like I do think this moment of personal victory is important for Sam, because of his conversation with Bobby about needing to learn to overcome his emotions before he even thinks about a plan to overcome the devil. But like there is this pride in it like he proved something to Dean when he did the opposite of that. Dean already trusted him and then Sam locked him in a bathroom for that mistake. Then Hellhounds appear, and Crowley “runs off” so Sam gets to say “I told you!” and again puff himself up a bit for being so right about everything—the “Dean should have listened to me more” point of hurt pride soothed—only for Crowley to immediately come back with a hellhound of his own and prevent Dean from becoming puppy chow right in front of Sam for a second time. Not only does this deflate Sam’s smug “I told you so”… saving Dean from hellhounds specifically? The fate Sam desperately tried to save Dean from all of season 3 and couldn’t? It has an effect on Dean. Dean is so clearly taken in by what Crowley can offer. He certainly doesn’t trust Crowley fully, but he gives him a considerable amount of leeway. He gazes at him thoughtfully, working him out, as Crowley shows over and over what he can offer—even if he’s slippery. Crowley having a pet hellhound that he uses to defend Dean is not something lost on Dean I don’t think—both for his own sake and because they lost Jo to a hellhound in 5.10. In fact, I think the hellhound is the nail in the coffin—the thing that has Dean letting Crowley out of that salt circle before Sam kills Brady with the knife. Gotta wonder how Sam thinks about that—if he thinks about it—on top of the Ruby parallels… how Crowley can do things Sam simply can’t, and Dean believes him.
