So much has changed since 2002🙏🏼 I’ve gone from 4 to 7 kids, went through a divorce, been remarried for over 9 years now, & transformed both physically & mentally in a plethora of ways. Truth be told, I didn’t have a lot of confidence for many years after high school. My ✌🏼cents... While it’s important to surround yourself with people who support you, love you & who don’t project their insecurities onto you, it’s even more important to believe in yourself & understand your own worth! When you are unconditionally confident, you will be able to do amazing things! Sometimes we fail to achieve our goals because we sabotage ourselves. We fear failure & maybe even success. Nursing school, although I loathed it, really busted me out of my shell. When I told someone who meant a lot to me that I was going to nursing school, their response? *chuckles* “Come on, you don’t really think you’re going to become a nurse, do you? Hahahaha!!” That was the first time I thought in my head, “I’ll show you!”😈 And guess what? I DID BECOME AN RN. 👩🏼‍🎓 I started 3 weeks after giving birth to my 4th baby, which was NOT easy! Had the gastric sleeve done on October 5th 2017 lost 105 pounds! (: I’m proud of myself this isn’t the “easy way out” as people put it! I struggle every day to eat and I keep it down even tho I’m 1 year and 9 months out! It was rough but I would honestly do it all over again as it did save my life and made me healthier! (: also this surgery does not & I repeat does not cure food addiction!
