About, BYF/DNI, and Front Indicators
ABOUT
Hi there! We are SuperStar System, or Star System for short!
We collectively go by Star online.
Our collective pronouns are It/Its! :)
Our body is within the adult range (18+) and we work at a local daycare. As a result, we don't mind interactions with kids, however I'd rather us minimise interactions with minors for safety reasons, so please be careful interacting with us? The internet is scary and we don't want things being taken out of context ya'know? ^^;
BYF:
We support Hermitcraft YouTubers such as Grian, GoodTimeswithScar, Bdouble0100 (Bdubs), and DocM77
We are still a Technoblade fan
We support Ph1lza
We are NOT a DSMP fan by any means, us liking and supporting Technoblade and Ph1lza are near coincidence, and we found them outside of that fandom base!
DNI:
- Murrsuiters
- Non-traumagenic "systems"
- Proshippers
- maps
- terfs
- Pro-sys fetish
Our current main posters will be listed below, along with their indicator.
we are VERY introject heavy, please don't judge us for it.
You are more than welcome to send alters asks through our box, just be aware it may take some time to get to it! :)

I'm about to throw stones but when people my age say "I don't like these Gen Z teenage tone indicators. How am I supposed to MEMORIZE all these new abbreviations? '/nm'? '/lh'? I hate it." it sounds utterly indistinguishable from our parents being like "I don't get this text speak. 'omg'? 'lol'? SAY what you mean! Don't abbreviate!" Like I dunno how to tell you that evolving language involves... learning the evolved parts of language.
I understand like 4 tone indicators and I'm frequently confused but I support it. It's honestly a good solution to tone lost over text imo. I'm ancient and my bones are full of dust but I'll figure it out.

HMS Surprise midshipmen! grown up!
Top tier Aubreyad experience earlier this week - at the (sold out!) Animus screening of Master and Commander at the Prince Charles Cinema: 5 of the actors randomly showed up, apparently having bought tickets?? and were brought onstage and pressed for an anecdote
A foremast jack and four midshipmen!
Alex Palmer who played ‘never met a dead man who bought me a drink’ Nehemiah Slade, Jack Randall who played Boyle the midshipman, Lee Ingleby who played the unfortunate Mr Hollom, and, of course, Max Pirkis and Max Benitz, who played the tiny Mr Blakeney and Mr Calamy respectively. Delightful anecdotes of how they’re all still friends, and had arranged a dinner with the lads and figured they come and see it. They seemed genuinely amazed and delighted that the screening sold out, and told some tales of life during the shoot: music Peter Weir would play on set, and birthday parties they had during filming.

Day 23 - Tango
Drabble for @hermitadaymay!
“Dude, your eyes are glowing so bright??”
“Aw, thanks!” Tango teased, looking in Skizz’s general direction.
“No, seriously. I’ve never seen them like this in broad daylight before.” Skizz shifted to make eye contact, then flinched and squinted at the brightness.
Tango looked around at the landscape just barely becoming visible. “Oh, are they extra super-duper bright? Like everything else around here?”
“It’s called daylight,” Impulse laughed nearby. “You should try it sometime.”
Tango swung lightly at him, missing by a mile. “Jerk.”
“Join the caving thing,” Skizz suggested. “We’ll recalibrate you slowly, work you back up to post-Decked-Out normal!”

the pjotv sally jackson slander is so weird to me because i feel like the change from the book counterpart actually makes a lot of sense considering the situation shes put in. in the books sally is this nurturing, generous, and self sacrificing mother. the ideal mother if u will. but thats not to say that she isnt like that in the show as well. she obviously cares about her kid, from his schooling, to his safety, to being preoccupied with his sense of identity before he realizes his place in the world. all in all, tv show sally seems to have the same priority as book sally: keep her son safe.
regardless, i agree that shes not the same as her book counterpart because it would be so stupid to claim otherwise. however the traits that were added onto tv sally provide a level of realism that the books didnt have. in her situation (a young poor single mother with a neurodivergent demigod kid that she isnt provided the resources to protect him other than sending him away), her stern somewhat “cold” attitude makes sense, her frustrations make sense, and i truly dont understand the disdain her actions have garnered.

Prompt #362
Because they switch so often, System A's friends like to play a game where they guess who's fronting at any given moment. One friend, Person B, always manages to guess correctly, somehow. Their secret?
They are the only one who's noticed that System A wears fronting indicators.
