As you can see, our contestants have been very productive in their progress towards their first challenge of constructing shelter. It has been a whole month hasn't it!!! I bet they are so bored!!! I did not CONSIDER how long it would TAKE to do something such as... Building a house. Minecraft makes it look so EASY!!!!!
Well anyway, this is really BORING. So boring!!!! There's no sense in having CHALLENGES if they aren't CHALLENGING!!
So I've been thinking. We ought to spice things up! What better way to spice things up than with a POLL?
Tumblr media
Isn't that great??? Limb poll! One of you will give me one of your limbs! And the co-hosts chose YOU, Flame Martini!
Tumblr media
So hold still, OKAY???
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OUCH!!! You guys were right--that DID hurt!!
Oh well! I better go get CLEANED UP!

I'm not quite sure how to explain it but I feel like being / having been a Sick Kid (tm) taught me that pain is just something you have to go through.
Because as a kid you don't have a choice, and the bad things happen, the sickness whatever it is, and then usually uncomfortable or painful treatment of whatever sort. (I won't list examples, that would just be triggering)
So you learn that bad things are just something you have to deal with
And it's weird because I feel like as an adult (and probably before then), I don't always realize I have a choice in most situations, especially outside of medical things.
And I don't always realize I don't HAVE to sit through OTHER bad things usually. Because bad things are just something you have to deal with.
I don't always realize in life that I have the choice to say no or to walk away. (Or other examples). Because bad things are just something you have to deal with. Pain is just something you have to go through.
There's no call to action, this is just a thought I had, and maybe a sort of vent. Maybe other people feel the same or similar.

sayruq’s that person from twitter who said dany raped drogo. They’re extremely malicious and will resort to insults and threats as soon as they’re confronted with their shit. Block and avoid.
I would like to believe that isn't true but considering I've seen posts saying that Cersei raped Robert, I'm unfortunately not surprised...if that's actually them then they're more disgusting than I thought and I don't want any future interactions with them

On anon bc this is a personal topic but THANK YOU for your tags on the body hair post. It was driving me insane. I shave because of sensory issues and that's literally it. I have a cis male partner and he is very aware I do not shave for him, but because I'm autistic and the physical feeling of having body hair makes me want to d*e. Like yes!! It's great that we're challenging beauty norms!!! but also I feel like saying women only do "feminine" things to appeal to men is still taking our power away in a sense
yep. like i do understand the whole shaving vs not shaving from like. a feminist standpoint but so many paint it as just a feminist thing, and they just flip the script instead of actually supporting body positivity. it’s so obvious that they’re not really about supporting actual body positivity, and the shame they heap on woman who do remove hair just feels so off to me :/ like it comes across as if they don’t think sensory issues in that regard are a thing, or they act like you personally removing hair is an affront to all women.
bodily autonomy extends to people doing things to themselves one might personally find not their vibe, and until that’s fully accepted by someone, that person doesn’t fully support bodily autonomy. saying a woman should never shave because otherwise she ‘looks bare’ is still body shaming
Tumblr media
how the fuck is this an acceptable thing to say about someone’s body?? it’s so fucking disgusting to say that someone else’s body ‘jumpscares you’. like how fucking gross is that to say??? there’s no circumstance in which it’s okay to say that?! how are you not ashamed to say such a thing? not to mention a healthy dose of biphobia!
also the shit about coats and sweaters rubs me wrong
Tumblr media Tumblr media
why imply that a lack of hair makes someone naked? huh? what’s so bad about nakedness that you’re implicitly shaming it??
body shaming isn’t cool just because you’re slamming what’s considered normal. stop being fucking weird about other people’s bodies and stop acting like a woman’s choices are anti feminist because they’re doing what makes them happy
beauty norms can really suck but there’s ways to subvert them that don’t include dragging people down and implying motives that haven’t been declared 🤷🤷

Eating doesn’t bring me any pleasure anymore and yet seroquel has made me regain 10lbs I lost during my last manic episode
I wish food and I got along better and I didn’t constantly toggle between hypoglycemic shock and eating honey straight from the bottle

been cosigned by the bi women in my life to say this but i think the whole ‘bi women are 100000x more likely to be victims of partner abuse’ thing gets...almost victim blamey if u think abt it too hard. do we believe that there are men who are totally fine to date as a straight woman but if you’re bi they become Abusers or are we just avoiding thinking too hard about the reality of dating a guy who would hypothetically be beating u if u were bi. are we saying the abuse happens because they’re bi? anyway the elephant in the room is that we’re talking about self-reported statistics here and bi women are more likely to be feminists and informed about consent and coercion and so on in order to RECOGNISE abuse. meanwhile a majority of straight women don’t even believe in marital rape and we know a lot about the lengths people can go to avoid labelling what they experienced/are experiencing as abuse. + DUH sexuality is self reported too so of course going through abuse at the hands of men can be a factor in a woman unpacking compulsory heterosexuality and realising she isn’t straight.
i think it’s important because in one narrative, victim-blaming myths about IPV are subtly reinforced in the name of advocating for bi women while the other recognises that abuse can happen to anyone but bi women are informed and autonomous and not just helpless victims with no choice but to play dating life russian roulette

I mean i do hate rapists and wish they were dead, but save that for individuals when you're sure. if u want less rape in general we need to end rape culture. Like my professor always said: "these people don't crawl out of a swamp"

Yall remember Cryotic? Yeah, uh, is this a good time to tell yall I live with the fact that my mother stole one of my 14yo cry fanart drawings and got it tattooed onto her leg, still angry she took it, now silently snickering that she has a predator on her leg (she is horrible)
