Ahhhhhhh!!! I'm so happy about this new BL!! So wholesome, so cute, SO FUNNY!! Not even 10 chapters in and I already adored all three of them. So much warmth ♡ I would read 100+ chapters about them just going about their daily lives.

The author apologized in chapter 22(?) because we had to wait so long for spicier chapters - first, I did not once feel like I was waiting too long for spicy chapters, I wasn't even thinking about that, I was just happy and second, dear author, you never have to apologize for anything, you're creating a masterpiece here. I already know it's going to be one of my all time favorites ♡♡♡

Oh my god... I read this for the first time this year, not expecting much but to my surprise I enjoyed every second of it 0_0

It was just so fun! Ritsu was hilarious and relatable (minus the nepotism), maybe controversial, but I love Takano ♡ That man just wants Ritsu's love, he's got it so bad.

I loved reading about all of the side characters and couples too ♡♡ I will be reading Junjou Romantica and then re-reading this and then probably watching both animes. And by then, maybe, finally, Ritsu will have confessed.

I couldn't decide!!! How was I supposed to decide between these three??? There were so many great BLs that ended this year (ノAヽ)

Hold Me Tight - Wow, 194 episodes and I would have kept reading as far as the author wanted to go. This one has a special place in my heart because I remember exactly where I was when I started it and binged probably the whole first season. I've since re-read the entire thing, and despite how long it is, I was so sad when I got to the last chapter. One of my all time favorites. I love Giovanni and Felix so much ♡♡ I love their love ♡♡ (Leegang was my favorite side character). Funny, heartwarming, loving, wholesome ♡

Banana Scandal - I am so so SO glad that we got a season 3 ♡ Even with 190 episodes, similarly, I would have read three more seasons. I loved Taehee and Dojin in season one so much, but Yeonwoo and Taehwan stole my heart just as much at the end of season 2 and in season 3!! I will definitely be re-reading this again ♡ and recommending it forever. Sweet, funny, cute, love these boys ♡

Semantic Error - which just ended like last week it feels like. I'm so sad seeing this one end right now, I want to see more of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung ♡ I feel like there was some more to tell - I'm really hoping for a few side chapters. But overall, duh, I LOVED reading this. So funny, had me hooked from the very beginning. Enjoyed the art style, the concept, and of course the characters ♡♡ I will be re-reading this one again someday. And maybe checking out the novel...

I cheated again and included both of these for best of 2023! I think we all know why and know that I couldn't possible choose one over the other.

Sasaki & Miyano I started in the beginning of 2022 and immediately read Hirano and Kagiura after I caught up and also immediately watched the anime. And now we have a movie!

In addition to being an adorable and wholesome romance, both of these were hilarious. Miyano is my favorite, and one of my favorite panels of him is when he called Hirano an uke to his face ʱªʱªʱª(ᕑᗢूᓫ∗) Miyano you crazy fudanshi!!

The tension with both of these couples!! So freaking soft ♡ and the way I know we're all screeching at just hand holding and little touches is delightful ♡

Y'all are getting a face reveal today for anime STL pics :)

Anyway I had SO much fun!!! I just posted about it over on my writing account but this one I'm gonna post more pictures on, I trust all of you my lovely mutuals :)

Ok ranting time!!! (Im gonna try and keep it short but god do I have a lot of fun stories)

OKAY SO ACTUALLY THAT ONE WITH THE CHILDE COSPLAYER IS LIKE MY FAVORITE BC OF WHY I GOT IT

I went to a genshin panel that got done early, so the host/Neuvillette decided to do a mad libs with everyone. They said to try and keep the words genshin related so the first word I thought of was "tartagalicious" and after much debate with me and my friend decided that word would fall under adjective. So when they say they need an adjective I raise my hand and say it, and holy shit the Neuvillette took one look at me and was like "of course you of all people would say that." Anyway the Tartaglia thought that was funny too and they blew me a kiss and when I tell you I was FREAKING OUT- It's actually embarrassing how my friend had to calm me down. Anyway once the panel/mad libs was over I went and asked them for a picture, they said yes and now I have that silly little thing to remember :)

(also once again ranted about this on my writing blog but I'm still honestly processing it so uh yeah I'm talking about it here too) Anyway, I got to meet Alejandro Saab!! I paid $10 to get Jing Yuans quote with it but it was sooo worth it. That poster is like my favorite ever so I'm happy I could get him to sign it :) we also talked a little about the book "a court of thorns and roses" bc he was talking about it on stream the other day, which I sadly had to stop watching bc I didn't want spoilers. He said it's really good so far so I'm super excited to keep reading it!!

Also the second picture was another favorite of mine, I won't say who they are but they were actually so sweet and did a whole presentation on decora fashion after the j fashion show we watched. Plus I made some candi while we listened so I do also have a new bracelet!!

Another super exciting person to meet was cyber girl!!! (I don't remember her exact user sorry I swear I'm a real fan 😔) anyway they were so nice and I bought the cutest sticker for my laptop from their brand candy☆trap!

Most of the other pictures are just other amazing cosplayers I met some I chatted with others I just thought they looked cool so I asked for a picture

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of people that wanted to take a picture with me! I had 5-6 come up when I was dressed up as Zhongli, and 3 as Cirrus. To know people liked my cosplay so much that they want to take a picture that they'll keep makes me so happy. Like those people seriously made my day.

Okay I think rant is over, all in all I had a great time and I'm excited to go again next year, and (hopefully) not spend so much money there. (I currently have 11 dollars to my name but I'm working again soon so we're good >:D)

Mushy May - Day Four

Love at first sight - Mountain and Rain

It's 1am. I don't know what happened. I didn't know what I wanted to do and then all of a sudden, here we are. They/Them Rain because I can.

Word count: 778

After a long day working in his greenhouse, Mountain wanted a chance to relax after a hard day. He wasn’t ready to return to the insanity that was no doubt waiting for him down in the den. Swiss and Dew had been butting heads, both trying to figure out the new pack dynamics and both had made it their mission to piss the other off as much as they could. He felt bad that Aether and Cirrus would be left to take care of it all, but he was exhausted. Tired from his day, tired from the lack of sleep Dew and Swiss were causing, tired of mediating all day, he couldn’t even get peace in the greenhouses that were usually a safe haven for him. 

The lake was close by, and the light at sunset was beautiful down there, one of his favourite things to watch. He’d ventured down and got himself situated on the dock, watching the water ripple, a ripple caused by a water ghoul. It made him think of Mist and her antics in the lake. She’d dragged Mountain in on a number of occasions, both laughing while they floated around on the surface, enjoying the quiet of the lake. Mist was the one that insisted he joined her at sunset, constantly telling him about the beautiful sight and what it looked like reflected on the water. It sent an ache to his heart, she was as sweet as she was fiery and so caring. But it wasn’t her, his friend would never make the water ripple, never drag him off the dock and into the cool waters below. Mist would never again sow chaos on the abbey grounds. She had taken Dew under her wing, teaching him all of her tips and tricks on the bass but also, teaching the little gremlin her chaotic ways. It was hard not to see her in the little ghoul.

Mountain could almost make out the shape just underneath the surface, watching him, assessing, and deciding if Mountain were a friend or foe, or possibly even a snack. He would wait for the ghoul to make themself known, he could be patient, a trait well known amongst earth ghouls. Either the shy ghoul would poke their head out or Mountain would eventually leave, maybe return again another day and see if they would say hello and introduce themself. Mount lay back on the dock, stretching his long limbs out and looking up at the sky, enjoying the end of the day. The sky was splattered with different shades of oranges and pinks, it almost liked like a painting. As he sat back up, Mountain noticed the head of the water ghoul that had been watching him disappear back under the water.

“You don’t have to hide from me, I won’t bite… well, not unless you ask nicely. But I can leave if you wish me to, or you could join me up here so I could introduce myself.” He waited, watching the last spot he’d seen the other ghoul. As he was about to stand up to leave, he saw the other’s head break the surface, just enough so that a pair of stunning cerulean eyes were above the water. Mountain smiled, inviting the other to join him on the dock. Cautiously the ghoul, who Mountain recognised as the new bassist, Rain, inched his way out of the water.

As they effortlessly lifted themself out of the water and onto the edge of the dock, Mountain couldn’t help but stare. Short horns, that looked almost like sea glass only just visible through the messy tangle of wet curls, a few strands stuck to their face, those piercing cerulean eyes surrounded by long lashes, a sharp fang barely visible between lush lips. The long, lean body of the water ghoul was deceptive, looking at them one might underestimate the hidden strength of the lean muscle underneath, but Mountain knew, there was little on Earth or in the pit that could rival a water ghoul in their natural environment. The pattern of blues on their fins was captivating, something Mountain could look at forever. Tearing his gaze from the form in front of him, Mountains eyes made their way back up to meet the gaze of Rain. A pair of eyes one could get lost in for the rest of time. 

Mountain thinks he’s in love with the painfully shy water ghoul in front of him. The very same water ghoul that was part of his pack and the band. He was in deep, he realised, a goofy grin appearing on his face, one that the water ghoul returned.

i'm sorry if you don't want to hear this but in this little au i kind of made, aether and mountain have kids. they take em everywhere and sometimes will get a babysitter. i was thinking of swiss being a daddy, being real sweet and nice. Can't stop thinking about it. one day rain see's how swiss is with children, being all father like and adorable. rain wants a family, a family with swiss. i have more info if you want to hear more ^^

rain would be extremely emotional, protective, but nurturing.

i feel like mountain would be one of those people who's indifferent to having kids, like 'oh if it happens it happens' type of guy. alternatively, he'd be like the hippy uncle that always shows his niece/nephews a fun time, but gives them back at the end of the day lol

cirrus is a hard no on children

cumulus loves them, would be a great momma and very easy going with her kids

sunshine is also a no, but only cause she would rather be the 'wine aunt' for other peoples kids. she feels too much like a kid herself sometimes, being the youngest summons

bonus copia, would love being a father. just shower his kids with whatever they wanted, definitely a pushover. would think it's silly if his kids tried to call him 'papa'

Azure skies and fluffy cumulus with the occasional tendril of cirrus backdropped the passing scenery of jade foliage and the occasional body of sparkling water. Upbeat music wafted through the speakers, swirling around the car before leaking out through the partially open windows.

“Babe.”

You hummed in response, tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear.

"Why are you staring at me?" Jimin glanced over at you with amusement before focusing back on the road.

You blinked up at him. "What do you mean? Can't I stare at my gorgeous boyfriend?"

Jimin chuckled at your answer as he lightly squeezed your hand that was resting on his thigh. "Yes, but it's not fair since I can't stare back at my gorgeous girlfriend."

Your cheeks flushed as he knew they would, making him grin. He lifted your intertwined hands to his lips, leaving a feather soft kiss to the back of yours.

"So where are we going anyway?" you asked for the nth time once your cheeks returned to a normal color.

Jimin laughed, a beautiful sound that had your heart pounding every time you heard it. "How many times do I have to tell you, princess. It's a surprise. You know what a surprise is, right?" he teased.

You scoffed, lightly smacking Jimin's shoulder with your free hand. This elicited another laugh from him. "Of course I know what a surprise is. It's just that we've been in the car all day, and while the scenery is almost as breathtaking as you"- another laugh from Jimin- "we haven't passed through a town in hours and my butt is numb."

"Aw baby, why didn't you say anything sooner?" Jimin asked, concern lacing his words and taking over his features as he rubbed his thumb along the back of your hand.

"Because you're having fun," you pouted, upset you ruined the previously chill atmosphere.

Jimin glanced over and held your gaze as he said, "I'm only having fun if you're having fun, (y/n)."

Your pout deepened, a light blush covering your cheeks in response to his words. You lifted your free hand to brush some hair off his forehead before caressing his cheek as you brushed your thumb across his soft skin. "I love you, you know that?" you suddenly said.

Jimin hummed and leaned into your touch, kissing your palm. "I know baby. And I love you." He glanced at the road before leaning over to give you a quick kiss. You hummed into it, pouting again when he pulled back.

Smiling softly at you, Jimin leaned over again to leave a kiss on your cheek before lifting your hand to his lips again. It would have to do until you were off the road.

A couple more miles passed of sweet silence with just the background noise of music before Jimin pulled the car over to the side of the road. You watched in interest as he exited the car and walked over to your side, opening the door for you. You placed your hand in his when he offered it to you.

"What are we doing here?" you asked as you straightened.

"Just stretching our legs; we have a few more hours of driving ahead of us. And I thought you'd like some pictures from up here," Jimin added as he retrieved your camera from the back. It was then that you turned around and actually looked at where 'here' was.

Your breath stilled as your eyes took in the sprawling valley below you. Large pockets of flowers beside strings of full, glittering creeks accounted for a plethora of colors, blending and standing out perfectly against the rich green of the trees and spotting of bushes and underbrush. A few barns and houses dotted the landscape, giving it all an added texture. The sky had started turning, a soft pink tinge slowly rising from the horizon as the sun slowly descended behind a range of mountains.

"Don't forget to breathe, babe," Jimin chuckled, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you against him. You felt him press a kiss to your hair as you vaguely nodded. After another minute of gaping, you snapped into action. If there was one thing you knew about scenery photography, it was that it was constantly changing. There one second, completely different the next.

Jimin handed you your camera before you could even reach for it. He'd already powered it on for you, bless the man. You lifted the contraption up to your eyes, snapping a few pictures before changing a setting and snapping some more. You tried different angles, even lying down as near the edge as Jimin would allow without fussing about your safety.

"Why didn't you point this out to me sooner," you pouted once you were satisfied. You'd even taken a few with your phone so you could post it on Instagram right away. Jimin had even confiscated it to take some of the both of you. You knew those were going to be your favorite.

Jimin chuckled. "You were too busy staring at me, remember?"

You blushed. "Well yeah. You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Why wouldn't I stare at you?"

It was Jimin's turn to blush. You nearly cooed at him but held yourself back. Instead, you leaned your head against his shoulder with your arms wrapped around his. You sighed in bliss, a smile unconsciously settling on your lips. You were both sat on the ground on a blanket Jimin brought from the car, watching the sun set. It cast a warm glow on everything including yourselves, leaving a cozy atmosphere. A cool breeze blew your hair back from your face, causing you to shiver and curl up closer to Jimin, who laid his cheek on the top of your head.

"Thank you for taking me here," you said softly after a few minutes. "Even if we're not actually 'there' yet," you giggled before a yawn escaped your lips. Jimin hummed and kissed the top of your head with a smile before settling back down.

"Happy anniversary, babygirl."
