Long time no see
Well, I haven't been here for awhile. Sort of like my gym attendance .Well, this will hopefully be the start of something new to quote High School Musical. I am quite a bit heavier than I was but post pandemic i don't think I am the only one. I will try to post progress here and see how that goes.

Why are Christians so quick to speak out against alcohol, drugs, sex and gambling but not unhealthy eating, when eating unnatural food products loaded with sugar and chemicals release the same chemicals in the brain as these other vices.
I am going to say what most people don't want to hear. If you are a Christian and you are fat, you are actually sinning against God.
Obesity levels in the United States are so alarming that it is in fact sinful.
According to the CDC, 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese.
Bad diet and little exercise are the primary factors behind this sinful behavior of American Christians.
I am not talking about someone who has a thyroid condition and puts on an unhealthy amount of body fat.
I am talking about the Christian population of the United States who make the choice, day in and day out, to consume a typical American diet filled with fat, sugar and chemicals and failing to get regular exercise.
Christians are getting fat, running a muck of the healthcare system and most importantly have turned their backs on God by choosing to eat this way and failing to get regular physical activity.
If this is you, you are sinning against God and the gift that he gave you.
I will start to explain why this is a sin with what is probably the most famous Bible verse regarding your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19:
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
Are you sinning against God by failing to properly take care of your body?
According to this passage, If you are currently overweight because of the food you eat and because you fail to get regular exercise, then yes, you are.
The third person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit, also referred to as the Holy Ghost is the divine spirit referred to in the Old Testament as the Spirit of the Lord, or Spirit of God.
Through the Holy Spirit, people receive the power of God, particularly effective through Jesus Christ in bringing people into fellowship with God.
If are bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as the scripture says, why would you poison your body with, "food" that makes you sick and sluggish.
Why would you fail to get some basic exercise and let the pounds pile on as your body slowly becomes sick and useless.
It pure sin to destroy yourself this way.
You should look to the second part of this verse and honor God with your body.
Consuming real food that gives you energy and engaging in exercise that your body can handle at this stage in your life.
I don't care what that exercise is, just do something that engages you in a healthy lifestyle.
It does not mean having to hit the gym for hours. Your physical activity could be something as simple as going for a walk, playing tennis, pickleball, golf, yoga, etc.
Just get moving Christian Nation!
