*Honey and Poff wrinkle their little nasal ridges at the thought of garlic caramel, but they take their job at the askbox seriously, so they set off to find answers.

Papython (UT!Papyrus): there's nothing wrong with experimenting in the kitchen... but maybe next time your trusty Papython can assist you to avoid mishaps

Corny (UT!Sans): eating weird foods while keeping a straight face is comedy gold, plus Cornies have eccentric tastes

Krait (Gaster): very gently tells you that it's "interesting " because he really doesn't want to hurt your feelings

FireRing (Grillby): he'll try it to be polite and perhaps offer you some lessons on cooking later

Honey Bo (US!Papyrus): has an affinity for sweet and savory, so he might like it and request it again

Pygmy (US!Sans): will try anything once, will not try it twice

(Someone's going to have to stop him before he actually tries to put one of those into your face. He means well, but...he's got more "spare optics" than he does brain cells.)

Sunny: He has fully the sunset morph! he also has adhd and is easily distracted, he's over the average size of a bara Sunny and is 8 feet tall, 28 feet total, he's extra cuddly and can be a lil clingy! He currently goes by Sol

Bolean python: They're 12 foot tall and 38 feet total, They both go be he/him but understand that they are technically two people so also go by they/them! They have the usual piebolding patterns Bolean pythons have! They currently go by Jack(tale) and John(fell)

Pyrope: He's 11'4, and has the fall morph! He's just as stubborn as any other Pyrope and often huffs when he's upset, at least he's not trying to headbutt people! He's a lil big for that to be cute lol, he has 4 horns and loves to climb, so if you cant find him he's probably on your roof- He currently goes by Dexter

Chapter 4 is here at last haha

Somehow, Oswald wasn’t expecting how young the kids were.

He knew how old they were, obviously. Jazz a few months shy of her eighteenth birthday, Danny sixteen as of October. He’d seen their records and their ages and even their pictures leading up to their sudden arrival in Gotham. Even so, he still found himself taken aback when he saw them in person for the first time.

It was the way that the pictures - school photos, artificial and flat by their nature - didn’t capture how fragile they actually were. The dark circles beneath their eyes, the slouch of their shoulders, the way they kept close, hands tangled together and knuckles white. It was the way that Danny, only a few inches taller than Oswald’s short stature, looked hollow-boned and breakable with his too-thin frame and worryingly pale skin and the mottled brown-green-yellow of half-healed bruises just visible where his long sleeves failed to hide them. The way that Jazz, taller than even Cosmina’s towering height, curled in on herself to try and look smaller, the pretense of a neat appearance falling apart in the face of polite smiles with fraying edges and bleeding nail beds and bloodshot eyes.

They were so young.

Could Char please get a Corny and a full sized Chain?

*Char thought today would be a good self-esteem day, but the longer she's in public, the more self-conscious she begins to feel. Today is an important day; she's finally going to adopt some lamia bitties ... but there's a nagging doubt in her mind that the lamias might be put off by her scarred appearance. She approaches the desk where a Corny perches atop a stack of papers, thinking that perhaps some self-deprecating jokes might be just the thing to put her mind at ease.

*"Any lamias here interested in damaged goods?" she starts, but the Corny makes his own joke before she can say anything else. "damaged goods are fine; it's damaged bads we dislike," he comments with a cheeky wink. With a blip, he teleports to a perch on top of her head, rolling himself in her curly hair like a very unnecessary curler. He can feel the smile and laughter as it vibrates through her body.

*He'd been reading and re-reading a matchup request for a person named Char, and he's sure this is her. She definitely needs a Corny in her life, and he thinks he fits her needs. He launches another pun to further test their compatibility. "how does the rabbi make coffee?" he asks, and Char calls out what she thinks is the answer: "He-brews it!" but the Corny gives his own deadpan answer that has her good eye tearing up with mirth. "nah, he's a busy guy, he gets it at Star-(of David)-bucks."

*The Chain behind the front desk can't wait another moment. His Corny friend wanted to meet Char first, so he agreed to wait. He's done waiting though. He wants to tell Char just how beautiful her SOUL song is to him. He pops up from behind the desk, startling her, but she doesn't stay startled. Her SOUL and his are compatible, and being near him reassures her on a very deep level.

*It isn't just the SOULbond settling that comforts her either; it's impossible to resist those deep orange eyelights when they're staring at her with such open adoration and acceptance. Coming to the Lamia (and Felid) Bittybones Adoption Center is the second best decision she's ever made. The best decision is, of course, adopting the two lamias!

Could I get a bitty matchup for my oc Char? Char is not short for Charlotte…It’s short for charbroiled. Char was caught in a housefire and suffered severe burns, as well as several other injuries, and lost an eye. Some days she is perfectly fine, other days she hurts too much to do much of anything. Most days are more on the fine side with some minor aches and pains. Her hair is currently a jewfro as it’s still growing back, and the poor girl has curly hair. She is 32, shows evidence of having lost a lot of weight quickly, with brown hair and eye. (The other is sometimes a normal glass eye, sometimes sparkly, sometimes creepy) She still cares more about others and loves helping out where she can. Often volunteers at Fire department events to talk about being stuck in a fire and what she did wrong. She has extreme self esteem issues from the excessive scarring, and makes self deprecating jokes. She is also sassy and snarky with friends and family, and will make regular puns about herself especially. On low energy/high pain days, she likes reading, movies, and video games to distract herself. On normal days, she enjoys going for walks and meandering hikes.

Doll(Tale paps neko): Dolls are super clingy with their owners and are super cuddly! But they never push any boundaries and don’t mind just sitting in the same room as Char! They also always know what to say to make their owners feel better and would love to help Char with whatever they can!

Boston(Tale sans Inu): These bitties are super laid back and don’t mind cuddling or just napping by themselves, they still need exercise but can easily handle that themselves without making a mess on Char's bad days!

Copper(Swap gaster lamia): Coppers love caring for others and they don’t mind if its their owner or other bitties! They also love to cook and at larger sizes they don’t mind carrying Char around if it's a bad day and she doesn’t mind!

Eevee(Pokebitty): Eevee's get super attached to their owners and would love to help as often as they can! And while they tend to not speak to often they would love to sit with Char and talk and some have even figured out how to play video games with their paws! Even if they're a little slow with them lol

A note: Satyr bitties anti-anxiety/stress magic stored in their fur/wool can also help relieve pain! Of course it'd still be there but it can give some relief on bad days!(many satyrs would do good so I was just going to leave this note lol)

uhhhhh ok yeah sure here we go-

While I appreciate them for their skill and beauty, I'm highly unnerved by birds. Maybe intimidated is a better word?? Either way, I can't bring myself to touch one, and being near bigger ones makes me very anxious.

I'm six (6) feet tall. And as such, I was almost always the tallest kid in my class, at least up until high school. The kids in elementary school tried to tease me by calling me 'Giraffe Girl'. For reasons I cannot explain, rather than upset me, it just made giraffes my favorite animal. I don't really remember nor understand why.

I enjoy eating Doritos with French Onion dip. However, I have to put it in a separate container, as the orange cheese dust stains the dip after you've been at it long enough, and that bothers me. (You can laugh. It's okay. I know it's a weird little hang-up to have over a weird little food combo. xD)
