Wow, it has been quite a while since my last blog post! Under the guidance of our wonderful headship Josiah, our family has been taking the last few years to spend more time in prayer and contemplation together, and shunning modern technology in favour of family time!

Since I last posted, our sweet family has grown in our relationship with the Watcher AND in size! We’ve welcomed three new blessings - twins Epistle and Ephesians (we call her Effie!) and our latest tiny, precious addition, Philippians (aka Pippa).

The most important addition is Hymn’s wife, sweet Angela Pleasant. They got married just six months ago and they’re already expecting a sweet little baby before the end of the year. The Watcher has truly blessed our family!

What about our other children, you ask? Well, we have SO many enquiries from young men looking to court our precious daughters, but none have been worthy just yet!

As for our darling Worship, he has a special someone that we’ll be introducing shortly...

So back in March I lost my senior kitty, George. We have another cat, as of 2 days ago 7 years old, and she hasn’t been great on her own so we buckled and got a kitten.

Let me present to you Lord Edward Von Hellfire.

The doofus looks like he lives on cold tiles, baby boy has beds and blankets, and a sisal scratching mat, don’t believe everything he says.

And here is his big sister, Princess Sabrina Von Helloween.

We’re currently keeping them separated and introducing smells slowly, though Eddie (yep, yep, I know) is a fucker and escaped into the living room and Sabby absolutely saw him. He was recaptured quickly.

GOD IS GOOD & ALL THINGS ARE DONE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL!!!!

I’m so happy to announce that my little brother, who we were told wouldn’t get into Seattle Children’s Hospital for an entire month, was successfully checked in at the Hospital under 2 hours and will now have the much needed help he needs. 

I can’t tell you guys how hard this trial has been. My Dad’s faith was pushed to its limit, my Mom’s sanity was pushed to its breaking point, and last night I broke down crying as I prayed for my family to get the help we needed for my Brother. 

And guess what? Today our burden has been lifted off our shoulders and we will finally get answers and help for my little brother that we’ve been praying for. I want to thank my brothers and sisters in Christ who’ve prayed for us and who’ve kept my brother in their prayers. All things are possible through Christ Jesus. Glory be to God!!!

I have some bad news, and no it's not about the blogs...

Today I just found out that at 6:00 a.m. my grandfather had finally passed away. This may not seem like much but for some of you who have lost family y'all would understand that my grandfather was basically like my own dad when my father was gone during the divorce. He was my teacher, my protector, and all around my closest Best Friend (figuratively speaking of course).

Today (Dec. 27, 2023) he had passed away at 6:00 a.m.... if he had held out until after tomorrow he would have made it to his birthday. He was up in his 80s almost 90 years old and considering that he already lost his better half a few years ago, this is actually something of a joyous occasion. Yes I have cried tears of sadness early this morning when I found out and got confirmation from my mother, but spending time with my better half (@bigred1462) and going with him to get the tire he has shown me that though my grandfather is gone I am still in a better place than when I was many years ago. And though that my grandfather is gone I still have a future to look forward to~ yes he was sad for me as well as he has lost many family members as well through it all he is reminding me of the things in which I celebrate for my grandfather's passing. What my grandfather taught me, what it means to be a family, and that having someone there for you makes everything all worth it more...

I am still sad and I will probably still be grieving over the fact of my grandfather's loss but I will not forget the lessons he has taught me and the joyous smile he has brought to many people especially in the community (irl) do you know that I will be trying to do things for the blog is just at this moment things might be a little slow to getting back on track especially with the New Year rolling around. I hadn't been doing much on the blog due to the Christmas time and I'm trying to get in better place with a job that will pay me for the work I actually do I'm halfway there and getting everything to where it needs to be... But now I have a family member to grieve as well as making sure that my bills are paid for at the new year and that I can get caught up with them (the phone bill is the hardest thing to keep up with but now that my electric bill is caught up and I can easily pay it later in the month that's no problem. the water bill may have went up but not by much, it could be worse) above all else I have a few pages for the comic done but I wanted to try and get a few more done I still have an ask or two to finish replying to so I will try and get that done in the next day or so... I wanted to let you all know why I might not be on as much today as I normally would or what has recently transpired in my family.

And this is important to me because I wasn't able to make it to my grandmother's funeral when she passed away due to complications in my previous marriage... At least I can grieve with family this time and be able to say goodbye to him before he is buried and not at his grave.

The pain still hurts and I will still cry, but as my grandfather once said: "do not cry for the dead rejoice for they no longer suffer and they are with their heavenly Father, no longer in pain or strife with no worries or sadness."

To all of those who have read this whole entire thing I appreciate your time and patience and understanding. And I also understand that this past year everybody has lost somebody important to them and for those I do grieve but also learn to rejoice for they no longer suffer and are on to the next journey of their life...

Death is not really an end, it is just a transition into a new life~ 🌌

🐛The Pillar Family!🦋

Oh I’m so happy I got to draw these colorful worms! I figure Hiya and Biya have more kiddos than just Seeya, Latter, and Howdyadoo, but i decided to just draw who we’ve seen so far. I’m guessing Howdy is younger than Seeya and Latter considering he ain’t a butterfly yet during the Holiday Hullabaloo, so that’s why he’s a baby bean in this drawing! I also went for a 1950s style in terms of clothes and posing and I think it turned out pretty cute 🐛

Edit: I was kindly informed that Howdy mentions Seeya specifically as his little sister! Oops! Well, I think we all needed some baby Howdy regardless haha
