The gist of it is that the comic hiatus will continue, and that I hope to start the next chapter in late May.

In the meantime I'm also still making art! And I will be doing more to try to add some "flair" to the places I'm hosting the comic and my art.

I've noticed Tumblr seems to have been going after more TG Caption blogs lately and shutting them down. Hopefully that doesn't happen to me but if it does I wanted to share what I'll do in that scenario.

I'll never delete this blog on my own without saying something first. If you find Celebrity TG Captions has just randomly disappeared with no word from me, it was likely shut down or hacked or something. So if that happens, here's my plan:

I have saved literally all of my captions to a flash drive. If something ever happened to this blog my plan was to always create a new one and just repost everything over time.

So if you ever find this blog got nuked, keep an eye out for a new one with a similar name. That'll probably be me. Again, I hope this doesn't happen but in case it does I thought I'd put it out there.

Last year was rough with Family illnesses and responsibilities towards previous generations.

We also were sick with covid/flu for about 45 days til mid December... oof.

But our Patreons stuck with us even when we minimally could work on new things. But we just kicked off some major builds and are excited to get back to trying to grow things again!

Slowdown

I've become a little bit burnt out from prepping for my con, my daughter's birthday & the Minor Arcana, so there will be a bit of a slowdown in production of new cards. I think I just need a looser schedule. 😞

But I am NOT stopping, just slowing down. We have come this far & there are only 3 face cards left + 26 pip cards (unless I torture myself with more.)

A week ago, I lost my dear Aunt Carine to her battle with stomach cancer

I know she’s no longer in pain, but as the first person of my family’s older generations that I came out to, it hurts me that she’ll no longer be physically with me…

But it doesn’t mean she won’t be there by my side for every accomplishment I make on my transition journey

I bought my first suit this weekend. While I wanted it to be for my sister’s wedding, I’m sure Carine’s so proud that I got a suit for her funeral
