PSA: YOU ARE MORE THAN JUST A PRETTY FACE & YOU ARE WORTH IT! This has helped me so much the past few days. I was more excited than scared for the first time in years and then it all fell apart. At first I felt sorry. Sorry that I wasn't good enough. But I don't want to be sorry, I shouldn't feel sorry. I told myself (and someone else) that I wasn't ready to take a step in a certain direction. But when I really thought about it, who is? I got to a place where I was finally ready to move forward and see where life took me. I was gonna go for it. Life isn't a spectators sport.No one is going to get out there and live it for me or tell me when I'm ready to take certain steps in my life. It'll just happen. I will admit that I got my hopes up. I got excited moreso than scared. I let down my walls for the first time in years, despite everything I'd been through, only to be told that I wasn't good enough. Only certain parts of me was what was wanted. I'm crushed. Not going to lie. I had so much hope that for the first time, someone who knew my history would want me for more than something physical. But again, I was wrong....all of this over the past week or so. I know it's not their fault and I forgive them. I just wish I had been good enough for them to take that step with me like I thought they wanted to. For now? I'm going to step back and focus on me again. MY career, MY health, MY fitness and MY heart. MY journey. It's okay. It's life and these things happen. I guess I just got caught up in a new hope that I hoped too much that the ugly realities of my past wouldn't snake their way into my hope. But they did. Don't let ANYONE make you think you're not good enough for ANYTHING. You are. I am.
