Your fic is one of the best ASL fics I've ever read, every pov chapter you convinced me that yup this is how this character thinks, you are able to get their personality 100% correct (at least to me) and your English is very good (from someone whose English is second language+ communication & major language at work)

Working on the speech bubbles was a nightmare aaaaa-

My first finished comic ever wooo!! This was inspired by a daily submas art prompt on Twitter, "quarrel". I barely ever see them arguing about anything because they canonically get along so well but I wanted to figure out something, and eventually this struck my mind. XD

From that moment I sat on my computer for four days straight, each page taking 10 hours of work!! I knew making comics is hard, but now I truly understand why. Sketching was fast, but then I realised I need to find room for the dialogue before rendering the panels, and that alone took a huge chunk of time, not fun, eugh. I fiddled with the lines way too long too, hunting stray pixels. I ended up giving the comic my all so I was absolutely drained when I finally posted this on the fourth night right before collapsing on my bed.

The next morning... whoa. I was so taken aback of all the positive feedback I was instantly energised and started planning the next comic haha!! The effort was totally worth it!!

I always thought I would not be able to draw full comics because of my attention disorder and lack of time and skills so I never even attempted it, I was so sure I just couldn't do it. But then submas happened, and I got over that mental block just like that! Now I really want to get good at this stuff!!

Expect many more comics in the future! Of course they take a ton of time to make ahah, but they will make it here eventually! Until then,

It will help (Not me panicking because Constantine come sooner and I always plan a VERY slow burn romance between him and Lolicia. Ahhh. So excited. Anyway) The more important is that Lucifer and Serenity coming later. Heaven arc last. I get it !

And yes, they are on bad terms right now, generally because Lucifer can't put his pride aside and admitted his mistake, or because he thinks knew what was best for Charlie and saying her plan is Unreasonable and far from reality .He doesn't even let Charlie explain herself and is upset about the fight they had the last time they met. Charlie thinks,

"He won't listen to me anyway, why am I trying any harder?"

Lucifer, on the other hand, cannot go to his daughter and admit that she is wrong, again because of his pride.

(This idea is seriously a wip, I didn't think of that arc in detail ) but when Lucifer comes to the hotel, Alastor criticizes him as a father.(Because by this time, Alastor has been spending a lot of time with Charlie, and they even fight back to back at one point. He can understand Charlie's relationship with Lucifer from her behavior.)

Extra: (Their current reaction is not the same as in this post, I drew this post before I started writing my AU, Alastor does not try to make fun of Constantine in any way (he knows what will happen if he does, he logically does not want to push his luck).)

And after this encounter and some events in between And after a long and touching conversation between Lucifer and Charlie, Their relationship is getting better. In my mind, this scene reminds me of the scene between Joel and Ellie in Last of Us 2.

But they still love each other sincerely. Lucifer was in a bad mood due to Lilith's disappearance and this widened the gap between them.But if they sit down and talk, they won't have much of a problem with time.

OH MY GOD REALLY?? I'm seriously already excited about how you're going to write their interactions! And I have full confidence that you will write a great slow burn romance. I can't wait to see their dynamics.

And yes, Constantine arrives at a time similar to when Lucifer arrives in the series.

Yes!, but it's not too early, I don't have an exact timeline, but seriously important events are happening at the hotel, maybe Angel is getting rid of Val.After the people in the hotel really start to trust each other and show their character development.

The reason I think this is because Charlie invited her brother over to show him her progress.For this, there was a need for arcs in which the team would experience character development.

Yes, Serenity comes to the hotel after the hotel's case with the Vees and after a while, at the right time, she reveals her identity to Alastor .Lucifer arrives shortly after this event.After this there is a heaven arc and the planning is this after this event it's completely blank page, I really don't know what will happen next.

And believe me, I love your drawing style, I think you draw very well.

By the way, I read the latest episodes. It was very nice to read Husk and Lolicia's interactions and I find Charlie's activity very creative!

Hello Ghoap Community! And CODMW as well!

I am currently working on something HOT for the community! As in something you'll be able to use on tumblr, in discord, on telegram etc !

I was thinking of selling the bundle on my Ko-Fi at first but then everyone would just save and use them from those who would've spent money.

SO. It will be free! Ill only charge a little fee for extra characters (I currently have 7) as it will be extra time for research if I dont know that particular one and to try drawing them correctly.

I'll even accept OCs and characters from other games/movies/etc for a small fee.

And by small fee I mean 5$ or less. Still thinking about it. Once I reveal the project (Just need to colour the bois!), Ill add the commission info for other characters on my Ko-Fi page!

So considering all this and the time Im putting into it, it would make me very happy if some of you would consider tipping me/become a member and sharing my Ko-Fi (and this post) within the community!

Im a small disabled artist who cannot work so this would help me a lot. Especially since I need a new tablet to keep working on nice art! (My current one is borrowed, and completely full, making programs crash quite often, loosing progress whenever it happens)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

F1rpf, although I have a fic for The Sandman and one for Our Flag Means Death (let's forget about my works for spn lol)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

So the first one is Odd ducks, the fic I wrote for The Sandman, which is pretty normal since the fandom is bigger. After that, only F1, with Let's try something else (sewis fake dating feat Seb and gay panic), A Change of Habits (my lonnnnnnng chewis fic following the 2022 season), Your Crush is Showing (Brocedes, the first long fic I completed. Lots of smut.) and finally, Remember to forget (me), brocedes lewis!amnesia fic. I am very proud of the last one, mostly because it's super angsty and I torture Nico so much in it lmao

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do, actually, but usually I procrastinate on it, and I took ages. It's just, like, I feel it important to thank everyone for the comments, but it can feel a little repetitive and so I just tend to... Push it back to the next day, again and again. When it's on a multi-chapter fic, I reply before publishing the new chapter usually, but if it's a one-shot or the last chapter... Well. You'll get an answer but god knows when ahah

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oof, that's between Losing it all, a really dark fic about Nico, and Too Late, a bad ending 3344 fic based on Monza 2021 :)

Damn, that's a difficult question, I love writting sappy endings... But actually I think it's the ending of Welcome in the family!

It's a cute fic about Kimi/Tonio/Minttu, and the ending is definitely what I consider one of the happiest, mostly because of a little time-jump that allows to see the future ^^

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I did once, actually, on the 3344 fic I mentionned earlier. I think the person was just a max fan and didn't appreciate the way I make him suffer... I had put the write tags and all, so idk why they clicked on it. Anyway, it was scary and upsetting and I'm glad it only happened once ^^"

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Hell yeah. Go have a look, honestly, there's no way I can summarise it. I write way too much of it, I think (and most of it hasn't been published yet I think)

Nope, but I should, it could be fun! Actually, I'd like to write a Lewis/Lil Nas X one day, so who knows. That's not at the top of my list, though.

Definitely this BDSM seb/charles/mick and lewis/pierre I have started. I didn't publish it and it's like 20k long but I'm completely stuck and haven't worked on it in a long time. Not totally happy with it either ^^"

Uh, good question? I don't know, I get compliments about the characterisation... But other than that, I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humour and I'm able to make people laugh (or like, I hope. I make myself laugh, which is a good begining)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

The fucking dialogues.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I like to use petnames in other languages cause petnames always feel more personnal when you use it in your own language. So with the F1 drivers, it's nice cause not all of them are english! I tend to put some German or some French sometimes in my fics for full sentences, but I try not to do it too much. If you don't understand the language, it can be very frustrating.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Time to dig up my old ff.net account lmao

Nah, actually, I remember very well of my first fic. I was 15, it was two pages long, I was feeling bad about writing a fic in the first place although it didn't involve any romance. I deleted it a few hours after posting it, ahah. It was for the fandom of a french youtube show called Aventures. It's like, people playing a dnd style game, it's pretty cool and I was really into it for a long time.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

The fic I love the most of is definitely Up or Down. It's one of my favourite fic I've wrote. It's one of my early work, so it's a little clumsy and far from perfect, but I have good memories of myself writing it. I was in vacation in Rome at the time, alone, and I spent my time wandering in the city and thinking about my fic, it was amazing. And well, the content of the fic is also nice I guess XDDD

Coruscant Bound: A Barghest's Adventure

In all honesty, she hadn't understood what was wrong or why Mum had been so angry at their mate. The man looked terribly startled when they'd come at him, teeth bared and tongue sharpened with rapid barks so very full of hostility. Beau had been quite shocked. So had Mum's mate, who'd gone from looking surprised to looking just about ready to cower with his tail between his legs! Since then they hadn't gone to see him. Their walks had never lead them to cross paths with him either. Not even when she could smell the delicious scent of the treats he carried with him in the distance. If anything the smell made Mum walk more briskly and as far away as possible. It confused Beau further. It also concerned her greatly. Her Mum was happiest when they were with their mate. Ever since they'd gotten upset with him, they hadn't been happy at all. Beautiful missed seeing them happy and at ease. She really hoped today's 'Flimsywork' wouldn't take long. Mum needed to see their mate soon, or else they might never be happy ever again. And that was not acceptable.

Rex had checked the cups and the bottle's seal. Had made it look like he was worrying for her health and safety. Mostly he was just worried she might have been trying to slip him something while he wasn't looking. And it turns out he'd been right to be paranoid. He just never considered that the Titanians would be so bold as to pre-poison their own wine in the vineyards. A rookie's mistake on his part. So constant were the quarrels and antagonistic sentiments, that acts of warfare and instances of social struggle were heavily ingrained in the culture and practices of Titania itself. So much so that the arts, literature and fashion trends were heavily stylized around these very topics. You quickly grew accustomed to the prevalent shades of red and depictions of senseless and domineering violence plastered everywhere. From theater posters with obscene names, to paintings in museums full of gory imagery, to the splatter patterns and sharp shapes on a youngling's finely crafted clothing. How could he have never considered the very idea of poisoned wine opened for special occasions? Alpha-17 surely would have smacked him on the back of the head if he could see him now.

2. What’s your total word count?

Uhhhhh 1,905,572. Ahah.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Recently and actively, Stranger Things and The Lost Boys. I've also been reasonably prolific for Gravity Falls and Rise of the Guardians.

4. Top 5 fics by kudos

This actually surprised me! Duskfall (a Bella/Tanya Twilight AU) is top of this list. And then the rest are more in line with what I expected: Raising Stakes (Gravity Falls vampire!Stan AU), Return, Rewind, Rewrite (Gravity Falls Transcendence AU), Reincarnation Blues (also Gravity Falls Transcendence AU), and A Semi-Normal Life (ditto).

5. Do you respond to comments?

Most of 'em, eventually.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think that's gotta go to this one, where everybody's dead but the main character, who thinks it's his fault. I don't write a lot of angsty non-ambiguous endings, but this one's pretty explicit that things Do Not Improve from here.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Uhhhhhhh. Hm.

Actually, it might be Hive! Which is a weird thing to say about a horror story, and yet.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully I haven't! Although I did once get a tumblr ask trying to gotcha me for writing Jack Frost/Pitch Black, which was extremely funny, because 1) that ship is between two several-hundred-year-old immortals who tried very hard to kill each other for the entire movie and this person was concerned because they thought there might be an age gap between them, and 2) I had written that ship exactly once, at least five years prior to receiving the ask, as a favour for a friend.

9. Do you write smut?

Verrrrrrry occasionally.

10. Do you write crossovers?

There's a reason my profile on AO3 includes the line "I was born with the gift of crossover femslash and I intend to make it everyone's problem."

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Only, as far as I know, by the usual AO3-scraping suspects. Although someone did once rewrite a fairly unique AU of mine from a different character's perspective, using almost all the same plot points, and didn't breathe a word that it had been inspired by my fic or that my fic even existed, which, like. Man, I'm glad you wrote that thing and felt good enough about it to share it, but also a little bit what the fuck.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

A few times! It's always an honour.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Exactly once. Wouldn't do it again unless the stars aligned absolutely perfectly.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

That's a trick question and one that I will not be answering at this time.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

I am going to finish Something Borrowed, Something Blues, so I guess that doesn't count. Uhhhh it would have been nice to finish Imbalance, but I just didn't have as much of a plan for it as I thought I had, and the more time passes the poorer taste the plan I did have seems to be in.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Personally, I think that characterisation is the big one. I can pull together a plot that makes sense and has an emotionally satisfying conclusion. I'm very happy with the way I write suspense/tension. And I've had a couple people now tell me that I do a good job of being descriptive without the description getting in the way, which I'm very proud about.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pacing! Action scenes! The Dreaded Middle! Not overusing italics!

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I've done it, like, twice and I had to use Google Translate because I didn't speak the language and I felt so dirty. For anything more than a word or two, I'd personally either describe the character talking without actually writing out what they're saying (if the POV character doesn't understand what they're saying) or write out/paraphrase the dialogue in English (if the POV character is the speaker/if the POV character does understand what the speaking character is saying).

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Wrote for was probably Pokemon, wayyyyyyyyy back in elementary school. Posted was the Hugh Jackman-Kate Beckinsale fever dream Van Helsing. Thankfully I think that one is lost amongst the ruins of ff.net.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

It's still the road goes ever on. It's gonna be the road goes ever on for, like, a while.

It was a miracle Marc could attend F1 weekend with Carlos – with both of their schedules packed full, almost always on the opposite side of the other. However, Carlos was very glad they've synced it all in the end.

Especially now, when he has Marc sitting on his cock, squirming and humming at Carlos' every slight shift.

Marc has his face tucked in the crook of Carlos' neck, hot air hitting his skin with his every breath. Carlos loves the proximity and heat from Marc’s body so close to his. After so long of not seeing each other, this is the best way to spend the time.

He feels Marc drop a small kiss on his neck and then move away to face him. His cheeks are flushed pink and there is a smirk playing on his mouth and oh no. Marc rolls his hips, excruciatingly slow and Carlos moans so loud he feels bad for people next door.

Anyways, I'm alright! Although alittle stumped on drawings. But I do have various ideas and WIP's... that is far from completion-

Slight rant under the cut

All in all.. in more details,

Motivation wise, it's been a constant up and down. One moment I gain a idea to work on, then the next, when I attempt picking up the stylus. My hand ends up, feeling so heavy.

Of course I'm not gonna give up, drawing is my favourite thing to do plus it's fun.

But other than motivation, there's also worries. Specifically on whether or not my art is even.. quote on quote, 'good'. My friends say it's nice, but I'm mildly doubtful. Not implying they're liars though, it's really just the fact that I can't personally see much of a improvement in my own artwork.

Perhaps I need to give myself more time and confidence?

Alternatively, I could try to focus more on a artstyle or shading style that I might like more? Not that it's been stable, considering I've been constantly changing it (The brush I use and such)

Or maybe a small break to drabble in story writing.. short stories? Or lore-drop text wise, for my current existing characters?- Albeit temporarily to get my mind off the insecurities in regards to drawing

Who knows.

Chances are, I'll still draw once the flow of motivation hits, ahah!

I will still answer Asks though, even silly ones. So feel free to mess around, just, don't take jokes too far

@izuchant Here, just for you :3 Here's a sneak peak of my wip involving whole 'date' section of my fanfic, including the event that prompted it. (Decided to tentatively add in the fry thing, courtesy of the anon :P) (Also, for context: this takes place after the Black arc, and Trunks ends up staying in the main timeline, and Trunks calls Gohan from the main timeline 'Chibi'.) (And, uhh, minor 'spoil' warning if anybody on here follows my fic, Nexus of Time, the alternate ending xD)

Trunks shook his head and laughed before he looked back over at Gohan. “You know— why don’t you take me out sometime? Show me a few places that you like to eat at—”

At the suggestion, Gohan blue-screened.

Of course, he knew Trunks didn’t know just what he had said, and Gohan also knew that his mind was just hearing what it wanted to hear, but it did not change just what he had heard, and it took him a moment to reset— “Ah – ahah— yeah.” Awkward, awkward laughter left him. “You know, your mother has been doing something similar with Bearus and Whis, although less going out and more treating them when they arrive – or, calling them with the temptation of good food.”

“Oh, is that why Bearus was snacking here when I arrived…?” Trunks said and blinked curiously.

Gohan laughed again, glad to have averted the subject for now. “Yeah. Thankfully, your mother at least knows how to satisfy a Saiyajin appetite, so the transition over to the God of Destruction isn’t much different!” Trunks responded with more laughter and Gohan continued. “Say, why don’t we start with her pantry?”

Trunks laughed and the two of them wandered off in that direction, their laughter echoing down the halls.

…..

Much to Gohan’s chagrin, Trunks was very insistent upon going out to eat at a place Gohan enjoyed.

Which meant that Gohan would have to—

Have to—

Take Trunks out for dinner—

Of course, all of this was in Gohan’s head. This was not a date. Not a— No. This was Gohan showing Trunks the stuff he had missed, the stuff that had been taken away from him—

Thus, to try and make things as informal as possible, to make it seem as less date-night as could be, Gohan decided that he could make it a day. A tour guide, that’s what he’d be.

Thus the two of them started the day out with coffee at one of the cafes that Gohan liked to go to.

“Coffee? I know what coffee is, Chibi.”

Gohan grinned. “Yeah, but you haven’t had fancy coffee.”

Now that got Trunks intrigued.

“I won’t lie and say I know all the ins and outs of it.” Gohan explained. “But it’s a different way of making it called espresso. It’s usually put into steamed milk and flavoured.”

Gohan also ensured to order some pastries while they were there, picking out a few things that weren’t in Bulma’s pantry.

From there they walked around town, and Gohan showed him some of the places that he hung out at while going to school, picking up some ice cream as they walked about. Gohan brought up some of his school days as they walked, trying – once more – to convince himself that, no, this was not a date—

For lunch they went out for, well, fast food. Something definitely not available in the war-torn future.

“This stuff doesn’t look, exactly, healthy.” Trunks commented on the burger.

Gohan laughed. “I’m not gonna lie, it probably isn’t. But I also don’t make it a habit to eat here.”

Trunks took a bite of the burger and blinked, chewing on the food. “It does taste good, though.”

Gohan grinned at him, enjoying seeing as Trunks enjoyed himself. Without even thinking about it, his hand had grabbed a fry and he was holding it out for Trunks to eat—

“Oh, thank you Chibi—” Trunks laughed, his hands still busy holding the burger and he leaned forward and took the fry with his mouth.

Did he just— fuckfuckfuckfuck—

Thankfully, Trunks didn’t seem to think much of it—

When they finished having lunch, they went to a park to relax. Gohan watched Trunks who watched the people mill about, the children playing and Gohan could see the smile the sight brought Trunks. Of course would enjoy seeing peace, enjoy seeing people going about their lives without the apocalypse looming over their heads. That was what Trunks had been striving for for so long—

The ultimate fate of Trunks’ world weighed heavily on Gohan’s bleeding heart, but he pushed it away for later. They were here to enjoy themselves, to show Trunks the possibilities of the past— To give him back some of those missed opportunities— Gohan’s hands itched to wander over and grasp Trunks’ fingers, to smile at him with love and adoration— But, Gohan stomped that urge downdowndown because Trunks wasn’t his, Trunks didn’t love him, Trunks—

“So, where are we going for supper?”

Gohan swallowed his emotions and grinned weakly. “It’s a surprise.”

The two of them wandered around a little more until it was closer to the time for supper, and Gohan led them to the outskirts of town before gesturing for Trunks to fly and follow him. Then he led them over to the town at the foot of the mountain his grandfather’s castle resided on.

“Hey, isn’t this…?”

Gohan grinned and looked behind him. “Yeah, I thought I’d treat you to the food from where my mom’s from.” He then led them to the restaurant the town was famous for, stating his name and the reservation his Grandfather made for them, and the two of them were led to a table with a lot of food—

Even though his grandfather said he’d take care of it, Gohan could only worry about just what this cost his grandfather—

“For the Ox King’s grandson.”

Gohan laughed softly.

“I– woah Chibi this is—” Trunks was blinking at the amount of food on the table. “Isn’t this a bit… much—”

Gohan laughed softly. “I know that food was scarce in the future, so you never got to fully satiate yourself.” Of course, he hadn’t been expecting this much food when he had asked— For Gohan was not oblivious to the way that Trunks was hesitant to keep eating during his time in the past. And, he supposed he couldn’t blame Trunks for it when he came to fight the androids with them. After all – once they had defeated the androids, Trunks would be returning to the future where he could not gorge himself on food, so it was better not to get into the habit. That way Trunks wouldn’t know what he was missing. But now Trunks was here to stay. Now Trunks could enjoy himself— “But, you don’t have to hold yourself back anymore. Go on, enjoy yourself and eat to your heart’s content.”

Trunks swallowed audibly before he sat down and filled his plate.

Gohan smiled and watched Trunks as he finally satisfied the usually insatiable Saiyajin appetite.

1] What's the lie your character says most often?

Most consistently: how they lost their eye (they wear an eyepatch and get asked about it a lot) and loves to change the story up on everyone.

Bonus: Zjinn is multiclassing bard who has adventure and chaos woven into their fucked up DNA. In their case, embellishment and lying is in their kit 😂

10] What fact do they excitedly tell everyone about at every opportunity?

When feeling ornery, Zjinn takes something one of their companions told them and repeats it...but, like, shreds the fact up and sprinkles it into a Salad of Lies. See the above answer for context lol. Gale is victim of this a lot because they like to argue (affectionate) and he makes it too easy. Wizard vs Sorcerer💜🧙‍♂️ (Also I doodled this for you below) :D

12] What's something that makes them laugh every single time? Be specific!

Before the Urge really starts taking a toll on Zjinn, I'd say wrestling (or dancing, if she can get him to) with Wyll - it always ends up silly. "Stupid" drinking games with Karlach...non-serious bickering with Gale (or coming up with absurd twists on incantations to the point one or both of them accidentally take it into battle). When Astarion really gets going on anyone (Zjinn included), she finds a rhythm in his words/voice and turns it into a song, which pisses him off (affectionate) but makes everyone else laugh. Those are the more wholesome things - excluding the dark edgy stuff lol

29] How do they respond when someone doesn’t believe them?

They just keep telling the story, making it even more ludicrous/gross and insert the non-believer into the story as a character where they end up in a compromising/humiliating position until someone (Gale, Wyll, etc) decides to step in or physically removes her😂 She likes to antagonise people.

46] Are they a listener or a talker? If they’re a listener, what makes them talk? If they’re a talker, what makes them listen?

I'd say both! As a bard, Zjinn loves stories and telling them. If it's someone Zjinn respects and has deemed worthy, she tends to listen. Those that fall into category of "utter bellend" she tends to start shit talking them with Astarion until they take notice. :>

51] What’s a phrase they say a lot?

I feel like Zjinn is the type to latch onto something a companion might accidentally say in a funny (unfortunate) way and repeat it in battle or while doing mundane activities, so I don't have anything specific? But I have a HC that Karlach and Wyll would love this and join in on it lol

I wrote for so many fandoms over the years, but from now on I mainly focus and write for Game of Thrones, only Jaime and Cersei, tho I would love to write a full Jonsa fic.

I would say "grieving for the living", because even if there is hope at end, Jaime is still dead so...

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? 

Hmmm, maybe "all of us, intertwined"? It's not the kind of fic that get an ending, but Jaime and Cersei are def happy and thriving here.

Strangely no? That's what I was worried about when I started posting because *incest*, but I never got hate.

LOL Yes, even if it's a struggle to write it 😭

Gosh, the descriptions. I feel like it lacks poetry when it comes to the descriptions, and it's too bland.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? 

Hell yeah, I'm all for it! I'm French and I headcanon Modern!Cersei being fluent in it (and also in Italian).

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (for Spuffy)

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Either "give you my wild, give you a child" or "grieving for the living", I always rotate between those two, and I think I'll never top the work I put in those fics.
