Buck: *banging a pen on the table out of frustration*
Eddie: Stop that. How would YOU feel if I banged you on the table?
Buck: I—
Buck: I don’t know the correct answer to that question.

So, has the Bi Buck explosion completely fucked over anyone else's hyperfixation or is it just me?
I litteraly do not have enough content to satisfy my ADHD right now, no other fandom content gives me the good brain feel right now. All of my app games on my phone are useless. YouTube, TV and even rewatchin 911 doesn't work.
I just keep refreshing the AO3 Evan "Buck" Buckley tag and latching onto anything that fits the very specific need that my brain has as soon as it's posted and checking 911 spoiler/speculation accounts on TikTok.
I am litteraly going to go insane before Friday (when I can watch 911 in my time zone).

TOMMY KINARD THEY COULD
NEVER MAKE ME HATE YOU !!!
Tumblr media
ya'll just hate him for no reason besides the fact he isn't Eddie. "he calls buck by his first name!!" That's literally explained when he says the 118 wasn't a family to him when he worked with them. You all need to get a grip. BUCK CAN LIKE SOMEONE BESIDES EDDIE YA'LL.

Clean/(Filthy)
Just wanted to do a warm up scene before I started working on my next project. Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Eddie had returned from the airport, Buck’s jeep was still in the driveway and the shower was running. He smiled and tossed the keys on the couch, stripping off his shirt, belt, and hopping on each leg to get out of his boots.
“Hey!” Buck laughed as Eddie pulled the curtain aside and stepped in like a man possessed. A small “mmph” escaped as Eddie crashed into him, teeth and lips and roaming hands. Buck devoured back, kissing Eddie with reckless abandon. Eddie pulled against the wet hair at the nape of Buck’s neck, dragging the desperate, needing moan from his lips.
Eddie devoured the sound, letting it fuel him. He ground his hips against Buck’s hard body and roughly kissed him again. This was one of the few times he could feed this fire, this burning core befitting his desire.
He scraped soft lips and rough stubble across Buck’s cheek, carving a path to the other man’s neck, which he nipped and sucked against. He shouldn't leave a mark. He was going to leave a mark. He loved leaving marks, even if he knew that Buck had to lie about them to the rest of the 118. He loved the pink that would bloom against Buck’s cheeks when pressed on the matter. He would sit in smug satisfaction and watch Buck squirm through a story about a date gone awry or some fling, and then when Buck got to his house that night, he would kiss him again, but gentler, lapping at the bruised flesh and the corner of Buck’s small smile.
“Did…” Buck panted, gripping and dragging his fingertips against the slick skin of Eddie’s shoulder blade.
Eddie nipped at Buck’s tenderized neck and the other man yelped. “I swear to god, Buck, if you bring up my son’s name when I’m about to fuck you…”
“Okay,” Buck whispered, breath hitching in anticipation. Fuck, he loved when Eddie said the word fuck. He loved it even more when he made good on the promise, drilling him down against the bed or over the couch or, in this case, against the shower tiles.
It’s everything that Buck’s ever wanted, he now realizes as Eddie’s roughly pressed against him, forceful in a way that drives it home that it’s real, that he’s alive. And Eddie’s promised that he has six years to make up for.
Buck can’t fucking wait.

9-1-1 Buddie Thoughts
I'm going to say something controversial. I don't want Buck and Eddie to get together. I know, it's weird coming from me. I've been a fan of Buddie since Ryan/Eddie joined the show. But thing is, I've been thinking about it, and I don't want it anymore. If it happens, fine. But I'm not going to actively hope for it any longer. I don't want it to be a repeat of Michael's story from earlier in the show. A man who has been gay all of his life, has been hiding it from himself and everyone he loves. He's married and has two kids, and suddenly meets a man that he likes, gets to know and falls in love with, and suddenly he isn't as scared to come out and be who he's meant to be. I'm all for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and any other kind of (legal) sexuality the shows want to make characters. But I feel like it wouldn't have as much impact if they simply re-did Michael's story through Eddie. I want 9-1-1 to keep Eddie as a straight character. I want Buck to have a wonderful relationship with Tommy, however long it lasts. I want Buck to have plenty of time to explore his thoughts and feelings and attraction, and do it with someone he likes and trusts, and in a safe environment. I want Buck and Eddie to be happy. Whether or not they remain as friends, or become more, I'm fine with either. I want Buck to have someone finally see him and love him the way he deserves to be loved. I also don't want someone else's issues weighing the relationship down. Buck deserves to have a fun, happy, and amazing time dating a man and exploring how that feels.
I'm sure that plenty of Buddie fans aren't going to agree with my thoughts, but there it is. If Buddie becomes canon, I'll happily enjoy it. But if not, I hope the writer's keep Buck as bi, or gay. I don't know if Oliver said that Buck's officially bi or not, or just that he thinks Buck is. Either way, Buck deserves to be happy. And Oliver deserves to not get trashed or harassed if Buddie never become more than friends.

Soooo now that we've got a canon bi character nicknamed Buck in that gay firefighter show, can we perhaps do it again for another Buck in that gay superhero cinematic universe??

Tynged (A Buck & Shannon Friendship Fic)
What if Buck has been present for and helping Chris even before he was born? What if Buck's spring break trip aligned perfectly with Shannon's attempt to confirm her pregnancy at an out-of-town clinic? What if Shannon's car stalled on the way?
Shannon thinks she might be pregnant. Her period is three weeks late now and she's been feeling weird in a way she can't really explain. Her mom would say she was just making up grimalkins to jump at, but Shannon needs to know for sure. For sure means a clinic, not just a pee stick test.
(She did try pregnancy tests first. Shannon never thought of El Paso as small, but now she knows it is tiny. Her classmates and friends of her parents are everywhere.)
Hence the car.
The car now steaming from its hood not even an hour to Odessa.
Shannon sits in the scant shade of her car and contemplates who to call. She'd wanted answers first, but it seems God really does laugh at plans. Maybe she should just cancel the appointment. It's not like she's going to make it now, anyway, not even with the buffer of time she built in.
A car stops and Shannon refuses to look up because, with her luck, it'll be someone she knows.
"Hey, do you need help?"
That isn't a voice she recognizes. She looks up and sees a guy about her age with tight blond curls and a shark on his shirt.
The shark on his shirt isn't relevant, but it is a cartoon shark advertising a dentist. It says Teeth Time. And the utter absurdity of the shirt disarms her. She waves a hand toward the hood of her car. "As you can see."
"I've got some cables. I could give you a tow back into the city?" He's rocking on his feet like a nervous first grader, like she's going to be mad at an offer of help.
She shades her eyes and tilts her head, thinking. "What about Odessa?"
He shrugs. "I can do Odessa."

Oh I'm definitely gonna lose some more braincells thinking about tonight's newest episode of 9-1-1. I'm gonna end up just doubling down on my obsession. I just. Like y'all saw that right?? Something is changing. The wheels are turning and coming to a head for a few people. I hope it works out. Or at least we get some spark of hope by the finale

Calendar (Buddie Week 2024 - Day 2)
prompt - Coparenting
Hope you all enjoy!
=================
“Honey, we’re home!”
At the sound of Buck’s voice, Eddie lifts his head from the study guide that has long since shifted into some indecipherable script. A warmth filters through him from the words. Buck’s said those words hundreds of times over the years as a comfortable tease to those around him. He says them when he goes to the firehouse. He says them when he gets back to his loft, even though the both of them know it’s empty.
It’s the first time he’s said them since their kiss.
He listens to his boys in the other room. By the sounds, Christopher’s in a mood. He can hear the rapid staccato of the boy’s crutches on the floor as he stalks away from the front door. It’s probably nothing. Hormones. He’ll ask if Buck knows anything when the other man makes his way to the kitchen.
“Christopher? Backpack in your room before video games. You know the rules.” Buck’s voice is kind, but firm, and Eddie’s stomach does a small flip.
Eddie listens for the groaning huff that he’s come to learn is part of raising a thirteen year old. Christopher does not disappoint, but the click of his crutches matches the beating in Eddie’s heart and he’s just so.
Happy.
“Someone’s in a mood,” he observes when Buck enters the kitchen. The other man nods and peeks down the hall to make sure the coast is clear before planting a small kiss at the crown of Eddie’s head.
“Apparently Stacey told Darcy told Francine told Erika that Chris said he would take her to their upcoming dance.”
Eddie looks up. “Which one’s Erika?”
“The new interest.” Buck pulls open the fridge and grabs a beer. “You want one?”
Eddie shakes his head. “I’m studying. Thanks though.”
“How’s that going?” Buck turns the chair next to Eddie so he can straddle it. His left foot idly toes at Eddie’s feet under the table.
Eddie sighs. “It’s a lot. There’s a lot to learn, but Tommy’s been a great help, and everyone over there has been so welcoming.”
“Everyone at the 118 misses you,” Buck says before he spins the lid off of the beer and takes a drink. “The new guy is working out though… mostly.” When they had decided to give this a go, Buck and Eddie together instead of Buck and Eddie as friends, it had come with some sacrifices. Because of regulations, they couldn’t be on the same team anymore, so it was either split all of their shifts, or have one of them transfer so they could maintain at least a semblance of a matching shift.
They had opted for the latter, and Tommy had pulled strings to get Eddie to LAFD Air Ops. And while Buck misses seeing Eddie at work, he loves seeing him here after work. Some sacrifices are worth it.
Eddie looks up from his notes, a teasing fire in his brown eyes. “Be nice to him, Buck.” After a brief bit of silence, he laughs and adds, “But not too nice. I’m not interested in sharing.”
Buck laughs, cheeks pink with warm embarrassment. Eddie wants to kiss along the rosy hue. But that would involve telling Christopher. And of everyone knowing, him being the last, Eddie’s scared of Christopher’s approval most of all.
“Speaking of Tommy, I invited him over to watch the fight the weekend after next. That okay?
“I think so,” Buck says. And Eddie already knows what’s coming before the next sentence exits the other man’s mouth. “Let me check the calendar.”
Buck pulls the upgraded calendar from its spot beneath the takeout menus to Eddie’s favorite places and sets it on the table. From the drawer next to the fridge, he grabs a series of pens, color coded to each of them. Eddie was blue, like Buck’s eyes. Buck was purple, one of his favorite colors, and Carla was a lovely shade of red.
Eddie loves calendar Buck almost as much as he loves clipboard Buck. Not that he’s going to admit that to the other man. But watching Buck make notes and annotations, block out their shifts with color coordinated bars along the top of the days, and sort who was taking Christopher to what activity was probably the sexiest thing he’s ever seen.
Buck’s even kept some of the old terminology. Eddie’s eyes dance over every other Thursday. BBPUG w/Tommy Kinard. Circled. Buck hasn’t gone since that fateful day. But he still marks it so that it’s accounted for in their daily lives.
“So what’s the verdict?” Eddie asks.
“I have a shift that day, so you’ll have to deal with scowly and moody.”
“A chore I think I can manage,” Eddie laughs. He looks over the calendar again before Buck picks it up, and his eyes fall on a particular date in both Blue and Purple. The text read simply the talk. “What’s that?”
Buck follows Eddie’s eyes. “Oh. That. I figured we could take Christopher out and bribe him with ice cream and dinner before telling him that ‘his Buck’ has also become ‘your Buck’.”
“My Buck, huh?” He reaches under the table to circle his thumb against Buck’s knee. It’s such a simple gesture, but the absurdity of hiding and planning on bribing a thirteen year old kid to be okay with your new boyfriend makes Eddie laugh. But he loves how much Buck loves Christopher.
And over time, with pens in Red and Purple and Blue, the Diaz household slowly shifts into the Diaz-Buckley household.

Yeah...I went there.
Okay, so I did something. I have no Photoshop skills...only manage to do what I can using Paint. Which, let's be honest, is not great. But, I did something and decided to share it.
