Genre defying or idea salad? I suppose how you describe things that end up being a wide mix depends on how much you liked the story itself, or if you found the characters or world building endearing. Fantasy with modern elements? Romance action comedy? I don't think there's a lot of ways for me to properly explain what this manhwa IS, but I sure as heck liked it.

Erden Halstead is the fearsome, masked, lord of a territory rife with monsters and strange phenomena. Leticia, sent in place of her sister to marry this cursed lord, doesn't quite find what she expects. While a great warrior, Erden's personality is downright innocent. There is rather more to Leticia than meets the eye as well, and they use her unique skillset across the empire as they take on increasingly powerful demon lords in order to find a way to break Erden's curse. Every adventure they had together was either funnier or more surreal than the last, and every moment of the way I was cheering for them to get together. Yes, even though they were already married.

I could do with less pining sometimes. Two young people, married, who both like one another, who have no real barrier to expressing affection with one another... for how long we had to wait for them to get on with things I was having a hard time. To be so ardent with one another and never try a single saucy thing, or even tease that something happened out of the sight of the reader did make me tear out my hair a bit. But the journey was still a good one with them.
