Fun Headcanon Time 3!

Sunset Shimmer and Sunburst are siblings (if not twins)!

Why do I think this? Well…

Both ponies are very gifted. Maybe after she saw how much of a prodigy Sunbrust was, she wanted to do the same thing and surpass him?

People say “if they were siblings, we would’ve known”, but remember Sunset DID say that she wasn’t close with her family at all? Well, sunbrust WAS a prodigy, maybe their parents gave him all the attention, leaving Sunset to be the black sheep?

They’re color palettes are VERY similar, and Sunset looks a lot like Stellar Flare and Sunspot. Again, I know not EVERYONE’S related because of their color palette’s, but still.

It’s just SO fun to think about! 🤭

If either show continued, we could’ve had a side story/plot about it.

It feels REALLY wrong to ship them together…for some reason.

“EQG Headcanon: I can see basically all the main characters of EQG as teenagers (because...they are), but I don't see the Dazzlings as "teenagers" at all. I mean, if the theory about them living in the human world for years is true, then I see them as only eternally/physically 16. They're really (mentally) thousands of years old, so they are technically also classified as adults. I also see this as the case with Sunset Shimmer too, but a little differently. She could be in her 20's in Equestria, but aged down in the human world. However, she still has the mentality of a 20-something-year-old. Just some thoughts cause I'm bored lol”

thank you for asking !! :D i’m not too deep into MLP or EQG but here are some hcs (mostly regarding human rarijack):

rarity always dresses applejack up wherever they go, doing her make-up, picking out her outfit, and for special occasions even making her outfit from scratch

on that same note, applejack always laughs at rarity because she does her make-up regardless of where they go. one time she put make-up for when they went to a pool party and dash splashed her in the face, immediately ruining it

they have incredibly different music tastes, AJ is into country and indie while rarity likes pop, but still make playlists for each other. AJ also plays the guitar for rarity, and has even composed a few songs for her (i could also see her singing simple by florida georgia line to her because it reminds her of their relationship!!)

they are literally glued to each other. they pair up whenever they are with their friends, they share food, they constantly talk and accidentally tune out anyone else - overall they are that one annoying couple in the school hallways you’re always trying to avoid /j

applejack is an early waker and rarity a late one. by the time rarity is up at 11 am, applejack has already done all her chores around the farm, cleaned the house, went grocery shopping, and made breakfast

last but not least, my queer hcs for them are that applejack is a cisgender (she/her) lesbian, and that rarity is a transgender (mtf, she/her) bisexual :3

Both Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze are very very lactose intolerant (Fluttershy is vegan but before then she was still extremely lactose intolerant)

Rarity and Sweetie Belle are also lactose intolerant, but not as much as Fluttershy and Zephyr
