Running gags are so funny and if you disagree with me then I have comments, questions, and concerns. Like, it just gets funnier the more it’s brought up, especially when someone new doesn’t get it. Feel free to explain it to them, it’s not like a “oh you had to be there” type of thing, don’t be a prick, let them in on the joke, but watching someone get steamrolled by not understanding the first half dozen times, then telling them and seeing their face light up is a thing of beauty. When they say that it’ll be different this time and you say they should watch out for crocodiles and they realize “ohhhhhhhhhh, cause I’m in denial”. Like that’s heartwarming AND comedy gold, babes that’s a twofer right there, a BOGO if you will.
