8th House Synastry ✨

eight house rules sex, transformations, merged energies, deep attachments & bonding at the deepest level. this is a a highly intense, fated, addictive, intoxicating, sexual & sometimes frightening rxship. expect obsession, control, friendly competition & high physical attraction. the potency of this aspect can be felt the moment partners meet one another & will intensify the more partners get to know one another. but if partners can handle it, this connection can lead to a beautiful & long lasting rxship, with great learning & genuine devotion. the concept of soul mates being found in eighth house synastry can be true.

within this synastry, everything is felt too much & seems more intense; even a simple glance can send shivers down one’s spine, even small disputes will be hard to forgive & forget. partners will have the highest of highs together & the lowest of lows together. platonic or sexual, interactions with one another will have a very intense undertone. it can even be an enemies to lovers dynamic or a love/hate rxship that hurts so good. the connection becomes much deeper than partner’s anticipated. they planned to have a noncommittal & fun arrangement. but they suddenly want to have an official rxship & hate when that cant be fulfilled. it’s hard for partners to just be “cool” or “superficial” with each other.

one subconsciously sees the other as a blessing delivery or redirection to their life, even if they’re being mistreated & the rxship is toxic. this aspect almost always involves blessings disguised in suffering, so it’s not best placement for synastry, unless its backed up by stronger & more grounded placements

it's in the darkness that we find the light & it's in the intensity of these rxships that we find our true selves. romantic or platonic, these rxships are often fated & transformative. their involvement with each other will drastically change both of them. they meet each other to teach each other a lesson they’ll never forget. even though the transformation process can be utterly harsh & traumatic, it produces a new & improved version them. similar to a major surgery, it fixes the problem within but definitely leaves a scar, so you remember the pain of the recovery process.

if second house is our self esteem, eight house is our weak spot. this is where our secrets reside so partners unknowingly uncover each others rawest layers. forget small talk & superfical relations. expect to unveil each-others deepest wounds, fears & desires. even if one is too scared of revealing themself, the other can read them like a book regardless. even if one is typically not the type to disclose their business, they will naturally share their whole life story with the other. partners will be able to open up completely & be understood in a way they never have before. partners bond by delving beneath the tip of the iceberg. but this can become their only point of attraction to one another, whilst their other basic needs for a rxship are not met. many people can't handle this synastry bc its so invasive & overwhelming. eight house governs the deep parts of ourselves that we want to keep hidden. when those parts are seen we feel vulnerable. partners know exactly what to say to either bring up or take down each other. this is an all or nothing rxship which flows deep enough to hurt or heal both partners. it will either cause everlasting love or everlasting trauma.

eight house governs our inner power. planet is able to easily see everything house is capable of. this breeds a rose coloured glasses effect. planet perceives house as more attractive, scary, important etc than house actually is. but this may cause planet to feel intimidated, threatened & jealous. planet’s envy of house provokes planet to gossip or betray house. on the other hand, planet may feel fascination & admiration for house. this causes planet to talk abt house a lot & this is where the infamous obsession comes from. planet may become obsessed with houses hidden side which prompts planet to cross a lot of houses boundaries. for example, planet going through houses phone or diary. when healthy, planet could have a desire to empower house or planet could feel more empowered around house. when unhealthy, planet feels powerless around house & wants to prove themselves to house. what the power struggle is abt depends on the planet. for example, venus causes a power struggle over who’s the most popular, beautiful, wealthy etc.

if second house is the sugar daddy, eight house is the sugar baby. partners may feel urged to give or gain from one another. it's advised to connect with someone you have this synastry with if they have a higher position than you professionally or materially so you can learn from them & gain from the rxship.

"Don't," she said. "Don't make cryptic comments about my - my mother. You don't know the first thing about her, or me, and it's just going to piss me off. When I'm pissed off, I walk out. Are we clear?"

"As crystal," said the necromancer of the Eighth. "But you misunderstand. This isn't an interrogation. I was more interested in the story of your mother than I was in you, when we questioned Glaurica. You were an accidental inclusion. Glaurica confused the erroneous with the useful. But ghosts always do."

"Ghosts?"

"Revenants, to be explicit," said Silas. "Those rare and determined spirits who search out the living before the pass, unbidden, by clinging to scraps of their former lives. I was surprised that a woman like Glaurica made the transition. She did not last long."

Uhh did we ever get an answer for why Silas is nosing around about Commander Wake? He knows enough about her to know she's interesting, but he doesn't know where she's from. Is it just him trying to get dirt on the Ninth, or is there something else here?

how love flows through the houses

first house - in the first house, love flows through us from the first breath. we aren’t always loved by those around us, or by ourselves, but i believe we are at our best when love is in all that we do, and all that we are. the first house rules selfhood; our identity, instincts and reactions, our outward expression. from birth, we naturally seek out attachment and love, and this need never really leaves us, simply changing shape over the years. the first house asks us to be the loving adult we needed as children. to treat ourselves with the love we deserve as humans. it asks us to be ourselves, radically and relentlessly, and not to shrink or hide ourselves from the world. it asks us to be.

second house - the second house is where we find love in our immediate surroundings. it’s how we value ourselves, how we value those around us. the security and comfort we feel in the womb, and later, when we find our true home. it’s feeling safe in our own skin, nourishing and embracing ourselves, letting down an anchor within that we can always return to when times are hard and chaos rules our lives. the love of the second house is found through seeing the inherent worth we have as human beings. it’s love that comes from enough; have enough, feel enough, good enough.

third house - in the third house, love is expressed through curiosity, communication, connections. the questioning eyes of an eager child, the first time you met your childhood best friend, staying up all night to finish a new book. it isn’t a romantic kind of love, but the love that we have for our siblings, our friends, our hometown. there’s a sense of nostalgia to it; it’s pure and sweet and a little silly at times. life can often shame and sweep this type of love away as we get older and have to conform to ever-shifting goalposts. the love of the third house comes from a deep desire to understand, and a keenness to connect with the world - and people - around us. we feel it most when we communicate honestly with ourselves and others, and allow ourselves to be beginners.

fourth house - love in the fourth house feels like sitting under a blanket while a storm blares outside. it’s safety, warmth, a soft, sleepy embrace. it’s the faultless environment of the womb. the fourth house is associated with family, and its love is unconditional, like a family’s should be. we aren’t always blessed with good relatives, but i believe we find our true families throughout life, and that they will love us truly and simply, with no airings attached. we feel the love of the fourth house when we nurture the small, soft parts of ourselves and treat them with the love they missed out on earlier; when we are with our family, whoever they may be; when we are curled up in a corner and everything is okay for now.

fifth house - in the fifth house, it’s easy to see love; it’s all about what we create, what we adore and admire, what we breathe life into. it’s a light, sparkling kind of love, that fills us with a glow and a sense of belonging. it is a love to be shared freely and enthusiastically, to show off a little. when we create a work of art, when we connect with a person for the first time, when we make someone’s day, when we hold a newborn for the first time and see how fragile and beautiful they are, we are embodying the spirit of love in the fifth house. we can honour it by showing ourselves respect, kindness, and pride, by being generous and passionate, by having firsts and by having fun along the way.

sixth house - now we plant our feet back on the ground and find ourselves in the sixth house. love here is much more subtle, but we see it through service; what we do for ourselves, our loved ones, our environment. i would say the theme is devotion, not necessarily in the religious sense, though religion is a divine kind of love in and of itself; but we devote ourselves through selfless, timeless love, and that is exactly the spirit of the sixth house. why do we tend a garden? why do we take in animals? why do we kiss a scraped knee? it all comes from love. when we dedicate ourselves to living at a kinder pace, to taking the time to breathe, to finding the ritualistic in the mundane and to creating a sustainable way of living for ourselves and our loved ones, we are full of love.

seventh house - the seventh house is all about partnership. it’s one of the houses that is almost always associated with love, because it traditionally rules our marriage partner and is ruled by venus and libra. but there’s more to love than marriage, and that’s why i like to say partnership instead. you could say that love is expressed in the seventh house through one-on-one connections; both romantically and otherwise, this is where we love the individuals we journey through life with. it’s all about that red thread that runs between you and them. there’s an intimacy and uniqueness to each relationship here, where you and they are reflected at each other. the love of the seventh house is most clearly felt in those moments when there is nothing else in the world but the two of you.

eighth house - the eighth house is another one that’s often associated with love, though of a less cerebral type than its predecessor. we generally think of the physical here, and that’s not wrong, but perhaps misses an important piece of the puzzle; the eighth house rules shared resources. our bodies are a resource when it comes to love, but really, what we are sharing is trust, vulnerability, the binding of two souls as one. when we meet in the middle with love at the forefront, we give a piece of ourselves, and receive a piece of our lover. we each become the missing piece of the other, transforming ourselves on a level we may or may not feel. love here can be murky, but it runs deep and wild.

ninth house - in the ninth house, we find a subtle, cool love. it isn’t fiery or romantic, but it is ageless and transcendent. the ninth house is all about wisdom, exploration, religion, travel. love here is best felt when we do what we love; when we are learning, growing, moving. stagnation is no good here, and the ninth house shows us we need to be challenged a little in order to become our best selves. it doesn’t mean we need to suffer, but when everything is easy, we stop learning and we stop really living. being honest, explorative, open-minded and passionate is the way to embody this patient, unorthodox kind of love.

tenth house - here, we find love through legacy. what have we built? what have we become? the fire within that helped us grow through our challenges, that helped us find our place and master it, and allowed us to build something worth keeping, is where love resides. it’s that little voice inside that urges us forward when everything is dark. it’s ambition, courage, patience and diligence. we see it in good leaders, in kind parents. love here isn’t always pretty, but it is real. it asks us to create something to leave behind, to pass our love down. it asks us to take control of our destiny and then to relinquish it to our descendants.

eleventh house - in the eleventh house, love is felt and expressed through ideas. the nurturing and sharing of ideas and ideals is what helps us build community; it’s what allows us to better the lives of who and what we love. love is fostered through collaboration, and the eleventh house, ruling friends, community and the widest of our social connections, is all about collaborative effort. i believe that the eleventh house teaches us that love isn’t always easy. it’s work, it involves a lot of slowing down and showing up, a lot of listening, it can be slow and tedious. but love is about wanting to be our best selves, and share our best with the ones we love.

twelfth house - pure, infinite, unconditional love. it's unspoken, untouched, but ever-present. it follows us from the first to the last breath, and wraps itself around us like a silken shroud as we step into the next life. we often don't feel this universal love, not consciously; it's a part of everything. do we feel the oxygen in the air we breathe? well, we feel the lack of it. but here in the twelfth house, there is no lack of love. like its ruling sign of pisces, it’s deep, far beyond our consciousness, and draws from infinite pools of unconditional, true love. we embody it by being vulnerable, kind, and finding the lyricism in the everyday.

There's something deeply Frollo-y about the way Silas says "We will waste no truth on liars." Very Spanish Inquisition-esque. Something about his insistence that if you're a member of the out-group -- imperfect in your holiness according to his group's standards -- then it's totally fine and dandy, and even a good thing, to abandon your supposed values (truth, honor, etc). Something very ... reminiscent of Christian colonialism. "It's ok to treat 'savage' or 'heathen' people with abject cruelty and violence; they're not 'real people' unless they convert to our beliefs; and even then we'll look on them with suspicion because they used to be from an out-group". "Oh, do you feel bad about the cognitive dissonance here? I'll absolve you later, and this absolution should make you feel totally fine about whatever fucked-up action I'm telling you to take, in the name of our deity. It totally neutralizes any moral fallout or real-world consequences of your actions, so don't worry."

The Ninth is secretive, for sure, but the Eighth embodies some really fucked up colonial dynamics that don't seem to be present in the Ninth culture. Or at least, if they're there, they're really deemphasized/downplayed. The two Houses sort of mirror each other -- the white and black feels a bit like yin and yang; as @madtomedgar points out, it's likely not a coincidence that Cristabel is a nun (and Silas and Colum are monks), and Harrow is also a nun, but no other House seems to really embrace the structure and titles of monastic orders; and there are clear narrative parallels between Silas/Colum and Harrow/Ortus, her erstwhile cavalier. But this particular manifestation of Christian and/or Catholic violence is almost contained to the Eighth House, where the heir and cavalier primary are called Templars. A clear nod to the extreme, racist, colonial violence of the Crusades. And they're called the Forgiving House; which is perhaps about their tendency to forgive themselves their own sins? Or possibly a play on Mercy's name?

To be clear, I am not/would never claim that any particular House is free of the legacy of racist, colonial, Christian/Catholic violence; the whole system is literally an empire trying to colonize everything outside itself; but in terms of the way the Houses are characterized, it does seem like a lot of this historical/cultural baggage is really concentrated in one spot. And I just think that's interesting, but I don't really know what to make of it.

Theory: The Eighth House, the Stoma & Nona the Ninth

"Don't you dare ask me what I thought of Colum Asht. I will weep."

Thanks for the reminder, Ianthe. I can't imagine Tamsyn brought in Colum for no reason other than 'he's a forgettable guy'. Now I have a loose theory to share!

Soul Siphoning & the Stoma

Colum Asht is specifically named by Ianthe because he's still a loose end. He wasn't in Harrow's dream bubble because his soul wasn't in the River. Something took over his body in the process of Silas vacating it for soul siphoning.

When Colum Asht's body is taken over, it's described as [...] Colum's eyeballs were gone — and now the sockets were mouths ringed with teeth, with little tongues slithering out of them. The tongue in his original mouth extended out, down, wrapping itself around her neck—

When the stoma opens, as Augustine tries to push John into it, it's described as [...] the tongues emerged. [...] Streamlike lingual tentacles emerged — the unassuming pink you got on normal, non-Hell-bound tongues. Generally, the tentacles are described as wrapping around Augustine and John, and pulling them towards the stoma.

There's a similar theme of tentacle-tongues grasping at people here. I'd hazard a guess that when Silas is sending Colum's soul away, it isn't just sent to the River, the soul is sent to the stoma, the mouth of Hell.

And this is corroborated by Augustine's dig at Mercymorn, the founder of the 8th: You never did take the stoma seriously, which is why your whole damned House sucks at it like a grotesque teat--

So it's probably not just that Colum's soul just happened to get swapped out with something from the stoma, but they intentionally send their battery-cav souls there.

Cristabel Oct

Now let's talk about the origin of soul siphoning. Mercymorn seems to have inspired this form of necromancy, given Augustine's comment.

If she practiced this with Cristabel during her time at Canaan House (which is likely, given that soul siphoning was one of the theorems Gideon and Harrow faced in GtN) — she must have sent Cristabel towards the stoma many times as her cav.

Something about Cristabel's description in the words of Augustine strikes interesting: A total delight. Effervescent. Kind to animals and children. A master of the sword. Did not have the intellect you'd ordinarily find in a sandwich or an orange, and was a sickening twerp into the bargain.

Cristabel Oct sounds a lot like Nona.

Nona the Ninth & Alecto

But aren't we fairly certain at this point that Alecto was the person inhabiting Nona this entire time? The ending of Nona the Ninth seems to pretty much confirm this, so I don't think that Nona is necessarily Cristabel full stop.

So I wonder if Alecto was really in the body that entire time. After all, when John describes putting down A.L., he says: Annabel Lee... was not the dying kind [...] It might be more accurate to say that I switched her off.

What better way to displace Alecto's soul without outright killing her than sending it to the stoma, the same way Eighth House necromancers do? He'd have a great, vacuous cavalier from which to draw power... all the while still maintaining his lyctorhood, unlike other lyctors who don't have an empty body to siphon from.

And every time Cristabel was sent to the stoma during her and Mercymorn's lyctorhood research, while Alecto was 'switched off', Cristabel's soul could have mingled with Alecto's, in the same way that Naberius's soul touches Palamedes' when they occupy the same space as bodiless entities.

Cristabel's soul could've given Alecto all the traits with see in Nona that shouldn't reasonably be present in someone who has only been described as monstrous — Cristabel's love for animals and children, her delightful silliness.

As for how Alecto came to inhabit Nona, here we see the brilliance in Colum Asht's example. While his body was vacant, it gave opportunity for something else from the stoma to take his body over. That empty vessel was a house for a stoma-thing to move in.

There is a point between Harrow the Ninth and Nona the Ninth where Gideon is returned to her original body, but Harrow is not inhabiting her own body. At this point in time, Harrow's body is an empty vessel for something from the stoma to take over, and that's where Alecto comes in. It's not just a simple body-swap where Alecto and Harrow have swapped places.

In summary: Alecto, like the stoma-creature that took over Colum Asht's vacated body, took over Harrow's vacated body — and with Cristabel's virtuous traits having touched her soul, became Nona.

Why am i just now finding out about the word “limerence?”

I was reading about my 8th house Venus on Reddit and someone mentioned the word and how people with this placement can often confuse love with limerence. I never heard of the word before so i had to google it and boy….. this explains a lot lmao.

I just watched a video on how limerence can be a way that you subconsciously self regulate. Especially when you’re going through something traumatic or going through a big change in life. In the video, the woman talks about how during these life upheavals, we be needing emotional connection and to basically feel like we have someone to talk to during these times and when we feel like we don’t have that outlet, the limerence comes in and we create a fantasy surrounding a particular person that borders on obsession.

I have Venus in the 8th house in both system. In tropical i have 7th house ruler in the 8th house + Venus in Scorpio. and in sidereal i have 8h Venus + 8h ruler in its own house.

Whenever i do research on these placements i see a lot of things about obsession but no one ever mentions the root of said problem.

Anyways, after watching that video i was thinking back to the 2 times i experienced limerence and its like a lightbulb went off.

8th house rules death, transformations, misfortune, and extreme ups and downs.

My 3rd house (transportation) ruler is in the 8th house and I remember my first time acting like a crazy obsessed stalker was after i got into an accident and destroyed my first car. I was in high school and i had JUST got that car a few months before the accident and that shit devastated me. My moon is in the 3rd house and i have an emotional connection to my cars. Having a car to me is freedom and i felt like my freedom was taken away. I was also suddenly going through a bunch of other shit around that time. but a month before it happened, i had just semi-ended a situation-ship with the person who took my virginity after he basically dropped me for someone else. It’s so crazy cause i remember being fine and chill about the whole situation with that person but then i got into that accident and it’s like something switched in my brain lmao. It took me almost 2 years to recover from that obsession.

I don’t think i wanna get into the story of The 2nd time i experienced limerence because it’s way too personal but i do know that it was another situationship that i knew wasn’t going anywhere. And again, initially when things ended i was really cool and chill about it. Even got into a relationship with someone who treated me good until something unrelated *happened* almost a year of being no contact with the other person. and the situation cause that switch in my brain to activate my nutty side😭

I’m happy that i know this now so that i can stop it from happening in the future. But it also makes me sad because those were some dark dark times that i always promise myself that i would never go back to. No one, and i mean literally no one, knows the extent of how bad life was for me from 18-22. Everyday I wish i could go back in time and talk to my younger self. I’m literally crying now as i type this cause i remember feeling soso lost and i feel so bad for younger me. I feel like i failed her.

okay so. out of all the coffins (and this may be me being stupid) but out of all the coffins. why do we go from first to seventh. the ninth not being present i kind of get (if we’re taking coffins as representing The Folks Who Died) and first being either Lyctors or ‘sweet Gubbins’, but where is the eighth??

i just. i may be coping but there is something going on with the eighth house. Silas’ disappearance from Harrow’s play isn’t something id expect tazmuir to drop in for no reason, and even ianthe mentioning Colum is just!! this follows on from Pal asking about Gideon, so either Ianthe thinks that Pal has something interesting to gain from her thoughts on Colum (and by extension the Eighth) or he is simply more present in her thoughts but anyway. it’s just. ianthe, known Ultra Freak, calls the eighth freaks. i mean this Is their reputation but what would she find freaky about them?

furthermore, the whole concept in tug is the fact that souls blend together. the eighth’s primary Thing that they are known for is soul siphoning. chewing off little bits of the soul rather than eating it all in one huge bite, but surely the principle of soul melding stays the same, right? all im saying is. i am very tired, and i think in Alecto (or at least i hope) the eighth house will have a certain role to play

So I looked at my Singer persona chart out of curiosity and I'm not actually that shocked by what I found:

🧍🏿‍♀I have always been nervous to sing in front of others because... Like what if they judge me. And looking at this chart, it just made since why. My moon is in my 12th house. So those anxieties I felt were completely based on the fear of being judged for sounding bad.

🧍🏿‍♀Speaking of the 12th house my Mercury is chilling there too. I had a choir teacher go off on me for not singing loud enough, he said I sounded amazing my voice was just incredibly soft and hard to hear.

🧍🏿‍♀My sun being in Virgo didn't really help with the anxiety either. I manage to remember lyrics and then freeze up in public. I've had friends (its in the 11th house) try to push me to sing more/loud just for me to start crying.

🧍🏿‍♀A prominent degree I noticed was 24. That could tie into how soft my voice sounds despite a Capricorn 3rd house and Scorpio stellium 1st. It also could explain why I like singers with softer or lighter voices.

🧍🏿‍♀Another note about that Scorpio rising, I'm an Alto (in both talking and singing) however I've always been placed with the Soprano 1 (higher Sopranos) because they way I end up sounding to others. And yes.. It did hurt..

🧍🏿‍♀Last note, I also noticed a lot of Taurus degrees. Overall people have liked my voice (talking and singing) despite me not personally liking it much and having constant anxiety over how I sound.

🧍🏿‍♀Some of y'all will be upset. And I've already stated how I don't care. That being said... Gen V actually started the psychology revolution. If you look at history books (and psychology text), you'll see that during that time many psychology terms used today (and often wrong), were coined and added to the DSM/ICD. Virgo is the sign of health and also being linked to mental health should come to literally no surprise to anyone. Neptune was also in Scorpio so we see an increase on how the psyche effects everyday life.

Long story short: The psychology practices we have access to today wouldn't exist without this generation both pushing to be able to get higher education AND coming up with new ways of treating psychological conditions.

🧍🏿‍♀To build off of that point and further twist panties. Millennials are to thank for the normalizing (I hate that word), of going to seek out help AND talking about emotions in a mainstream way. It should come to no surprise that the generation with Pluto in Scorpio thought it was so important to (healthily) express yourself and even talk about taboo things. Such as sex work and how sex workers should be paid and matter as members of society. Also Neptune was stationed in nice ole Capricorn meaning they wanted to no only think these things up but bring them into reality for all.

Long story short: Thank this generation for all the ways people can openly speak about emotions and how its more common to see it talked about in media. Also that sex and sex work are normal.

🧍🏿‍♀Because I enjoy being a menace I wanted to let everyone know all the open minded signs are the complete opposite. We just all fear getting hurt for telling them they sound like an ass with an ego complex.

😐I know y'all love examples so here ya go: Starting with Sags (because I love to bully them 😜)- Have you told a Sag something just for them to question you to the point you wonder why you talk to them. You may be entitled to an apology. Have you asked an Aquarius their beliefs just to have them talk down to you for "questioning their intelligence". You probably won't get any apology. Have you ever told a Pisces how you were feeling just for them to talk about themselves. You definitely won't get any apology because in fact you are wrong. Everything you know is wrong. You've never been right-. Have you asked a Gemini why they did what they did just for them to deflect and bring some random thing you told them up? At this point if you thought an apology was coming, sorry to inform you it ain't. Have you watched a Libra do the opposite of what they said, why? Because they felt it was necessary. As a Neptune ruled person... I've had my fair share of life experiences.

One experience I want to talk about is being high.

Now before I continue I would like to say a couple of things: I don't condone drug addiction (or overuse). I also don't judge those with drug problems (as its a mental illness or the result of one, and the focus should be helping not dismissing those who struggle). This shouldnt be used to diagnosis or belittle anyone. All the astro observations are simply things I've seen, not a reflection of individuals or the signs themselves.

This is also the only trigger warning you'll get for the mentions of drugs, alcohol and addiction.

With that being said on to the highlights:

🧍🏿‍♀Taurus placements might lean heavily into alcoholism/ overall heavy alcohol consumption

🧍🏿‍♀Another note is that Venusians (Venus doms, Libra and/or Taurus placements) might use alcohol or drugs (that includes caffeine) to socialize better. It can help them tap more into their more loose and flowy behaviors.

🧍🏿‍♀Geminis like to try everything once, they don't do it because their friends did, more to just learn the limits of their bodies.

🧍🏿‍♀That being said they might struggle with peer pressure (also Venusians and Neptunians) in terms of "social drugs"

🧍🏿‍♀Geminis might've have also grown up in a house with some type of prominent addiction (alcohol, caffeine, party drugs)

🧍🏿‍♀ Venusians (mostly Taureans) might've grown up in a household with lots of alcohol use and even come from a family of alcoholics

😐And if anyone knows anything about addiction its something that is a unhealthy (typically) daily activity.

😐Thats probably why we find so many Virgos with various addictions and habits. Its not because they just randomly started its something that was already part of their routine in a way. Or even enhances their routine

🤔Ie people who have to take pain medicine have a higher chance of opium/pain medication addiction than those who don't.

People who typically take it a lot have chronic pain.

🤔People with ADHD have a higher chance of being addicted to something than those who don't (that's biologically and psychologically proven, argue with science)

😶This might seem like a reach to some but in many ways ADHD can be tied to Virgo. There's the hyperfixations, which for those who don't know is the need to constantly be extremely focused on one thing (as it becomes your target focus for a period of time), and incorporate it into your daily life. There's routines, even if someone with ADHD seems completely unfocused they might just be that way (to others) for a certain time period before moving on with their life.

Building off that last point, routines themselves are actually very helpful for those with ADHD. Even if its not a lot the act of doing something (especially with no reminders), is extremely rewarding. Lastly there's medication to help with daily chores/life. Obviously that's the other health aspect besides the disorder itself.

🧍🏿‍♀Aquarians like drugs because they are counter culture. They can be fully aware of what a drug does to them or others and still do it because why the fuck not.

🧍🏿‍♀I also don't find it surprising that the hippy generation helped legalize/decriminalize mass amounts of drugs.

🧍🏿‍♀The last time drugs were really big/a common thing was the greatest generation (1900-1927). And because this is astrology related here are the Plutos for those generations:

🧍🏿‍♀Hippies/Gen V- Born during Pluto in Virgo, thrived during Pluto in Libra.

😐As stated before Virgo rules daily life, health, and all that jazz. So a generation being born when the Civil Rights Era was taking off going to need something to break and easily socialize with. Also might be why Libra Pluto celebrities are so okay with weed, heroin and all that being used so often.

🧍🏿‍♀Greatest Generation- Born during Pluto in Gemini, thrived during Pluto in Cancer.

😐The greatest generation being linked to drugs, alcohol and all that brings you physical comfort makes so much sense as Gemini is highly social and especially with those close/ friendly with them. While Cancer is about all that nurtures and brings emotional comfort.
