Hii! Have you seen the post on twitter about the ratings!! It says DVS, meaning sexual language/sexual scenes and violence! Maybe us Chenfords are getting our WISH 🤞🏽
Hi there- I don’t think that’s right. DVS is not a rating. Ratings are separated by commas or spelled out. Most likely this DVS relates to the accessibility of the show for people with disabilities. Thanks to whenever else posted this. I’d tag you if I remembered! See below:

It seems ignorance is a muscle that has been flexed for the time being. And those whom fight against such ignorance and maintain to educate others, hope to make the muscle move eccentrically, away from the concentric force, which amplifies the structure and fabric of ignorance itself.

An alternate angle on the Francis Scott Key Bridge shows what appears to be a large explosion, which you can see 👀 from the other angles I posted. Something reeks like a possible Black Swan Event?
Does it seem like a barge bumping into a pillar would cause the whole bridge to collapse? 🤔

According to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), around the world, there are 129 million girls who are out of school. UNICEF reaffirms that “girls who receive an education are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decisions that most affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families.”
On the International Day of the Girl Child, be sure to visit the website of the following three nonprofit organizations: Girl Rising, New Light, and Pratham  & find out how you can get involved in helping to ensure the access to quality education for girls.

Man there is a particular feeling of rage I feel forwards people— especially younger generations— who find it acceptable to shame gen alpha
Bc like where’s the empathy? “Ohh they only watch coco melon and can’t spell” and whose Fucking fault is that. WHOSE FAULT IS THAT.
Genuinely WHY are y’all surprised when kids who had to spend their developmental years in a pandemic are struggling socially and intellectually like?? They didn’t just suddenly appear out of thin air, they lived through the same damn stuff everyone else did and are suffering for it
Damn man. Whatever happened to ‘let kids be kids?’ Why is there this immense pressure for kids to be self-aware of the problems that are pushed onto them? Why is the social expectation by peers to be nihilistic? And I’m not talking about high school kids, I’m talking middle school, literal 10yos and stuff.
I love my younger cousins to death, but it’s lowkey heartbreaking seeing them constantly act older than they are. So why are we pressuring gen alpha to be the same? To shame other children under, quite frankly, ableist rhetoric, and to grow up?
Seriously. The kids will be fine. They won’t cause ‘societal collapse.’ All they need is a bit of support, we all do.
Also skibidi toilets funny. Maybe not my type of humor but still funny. And kids still watch kid shows too: Eddsworld? TMNT? MLP? Pokémon? All still popular and relevant. Don’t act like y’all didn’t laugh at some weird shit too as a kid, get over yourselves

I have just finished Chapter 10 of Northanger Abbey. Some thoughts:
I kind of wish I had read this book first out of Jane Austen’s works, if only because I would have related to Catherine more
since I’m mostly familiar with Pride and Prejudice and Emma and Persuasion, and a little knowledgeable of Sense and Sensibility, (I have yet to even touch Mansfield yet, I am so sorry) I was immediately like what the heck do you mean Catherine’s got a brother
who is this man?? what is he doing here???
I’ve read too many P&P fics,,, the state of being brotherless is just so ingrained into the story conflicts and character dynamics in my head, whoops
Mr Thorpe was annoying from the first, and he has only gotten on my nerves even more (and do I smell a fortune hunter??)
Isabella is also hmm
at first I was leery of her and Catherine’s friendship because of how she’s older and more polished; I was sceptical of the sincerity of how quickly they seemed to get attached
also I get the vibe that she’s hiding something from Catherine (has she met Tilney before…?)
but if she’s really James’s love interest, then I see her as more harmless; more of a disappointment, less of a threat, I guess?
still absolutely relieved Catherine’s not overly attached to her now though
Miss Tilney intrigues me
I like her so far
might be my favourite character but we’ll see we’ll see
Mr Tilney also intrigues me but less decisively of a favourable bent
I’m kinda suspicious but idrk why
tryna withhold judgement since he hasn’t actually done anything sus yet (that I can think of)
plus I genuinely enjoy his and Catherine’s tête-à-têtes
so mostly on the fence
I am most curious about General Tilney, idk why but he is piquing my interest
the exposition about the late Mrs Tilney seems very deliberate
the whole family is just intriguing I s’pose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
loving the writing, unsurprisingly
I put off Northanger for a long time because I hadn’t expected it to be as lighthearted as it is due to some reviews I’d read but
there do be plenty of funny parts
and of course Miss Austen’s characteristic wit is ubiquitous <3
Please forgive me for any egregious mistakes, I am no literary academic and cannot spot themes or symbols or meta details for my life. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Actually sent my application to the school I want to go to, today. If it goes well, I'll get an entry interview for the end of April, which is very selective (1/4 gets in), but fuck it, I decided I have my chances.
Look at me rocking going back to school in my late 30s.
