Practiced striking and sparring today with @miroweart . Trying to remember a lot of details that I can do with my punching bag but not as easily against a partner, having trouble pulling back into guard right after striking in these more applied/adrenaline situations.

Hi! Good Lord, I was eager to write you a message (too long and too emotional) with words of gratefulness and a request, but it doesn't fit in the ask box which is actually such a disappointment for me. And I simply don't know what to do. Anyway let me just thank you then for all your GJ posts: gifsets, theories and analysis and all of that, especially the SRF tag. It literally gives me life and purpose to my ridiculous existence.

FEEL FREE to send me a long and emotional message anytime @dontletyourguarddown, esp if it has anything to do with SRF!! I am having such fun engaging with people in the ann(e)dom and having interesting and thoughtful discussions about how they’ve interpreted certain things, what moments struck them, and/or how and why this show has resonated with them so meaningfully.  And everyone is always welcome to come shout at me about Sophie Rundle’s Face or Sophie Rundle’s EVERYTHING. Like for instance Sophie Rundle’s ability to convey A FUCKING MULTITUDE OF EMOTIONS in this like two seconds where Ann’s overwhelmed because she finally sees her and also incredulous because she kind of can’t believe it and awed because it’s her Anne and terrified because she knows and her heart is full but she’s also still healing and she’s emotionally exhausted and she’s physically exhausted and, and, and … and I was SHOOK by just her one exhale.
