Yoooo, I finished a project! Our neighbor/friend's kid is turning 3 and requested dress up things, so my kids and I made her a princess apron for her birthday. My 5yo embroidered the snowflake and I sewed it all together. Pattern is adapted from here, although I added a pocket because girls need pockets. (My 3yo helped decorate a fabric crown that I'm sewing together tomorrow night).

Soooo the only thing I've ever quilted in my life was a Christmas stocking for Child #1....
....buuuuuut I found one of those "quilt this thing in a weekend" projects and I can't stop thinking about it...
....I also downloaded an app that lets you design quilt blocks and layout quilts....
....but I'm also halfway through reupholstering an armchair, I have to sew a dress up apron for a 3yo's birthday party this weekend, and I have a backlog of projects longer than Sy Snootles' legs...
Why do I do this to myself??

So, I am ridiculously excited about Sally Hawkins in "The Lost King" for a couple of reasons. First, I absolutely adore her and would happily sit on a splinter just to watch her read the phone book.
Second of all, I've been writing an extensive Wars-Of-The-Roses-but-with-Magic Richard III D&D campaign since 2018 (apologies to all the Ricardians out there but he's the villain in my story). Desperately need some playtesters who are historically inclined. Anyone interested?

now I'm curious
this isn't about where you think your continuous memories start, but rather what you think is the earliest thing you can remember (even if it's only a few seconds or a quick image)
