Mistakes were made. During the highs of a good story, I made a book purchase with reckless abandon. Not wanting to be bested by a novella, I’ve paid the price.

The description said it plain as day in black and white, “a classic of pornographic literature.” ALWAYS read the description (and maybe some reviews too).

It’s not that I’m a prude; it’s just that this book wasn’t good. I was hopeful at points, but those parts get ruined with unnecessary kink.

Also, the author overused the “C” word. Like, a lot. Get a thesaurus, my dude, and thanks for ruining one of my favorite vulgarities.

In short, don’t waste your time.

When you post on ao3 do you also post on your other platforms at the same time? I am asking because I actually have an account on FanFiction so it’s easier for me to get to -Kitty

I do also have a fanfiction.net account where I crosspost all my stuff (same username). I do this more out of habit (I used to be a ff.net kid lol) and as a backup just in case. FF.net is inherently the worse site for dsmp/techno fic - and fic in general - because I'm forced to post everything under the Minecraft tag and there are no character tags - or ANY tags! And the summary has a super small character limit. Hate that.

I also have a habit of going onto my AO3 fic and editing them after having posted them (mainly stuff like fixing grammar or wonky sentence structure). And I'm often too lazy to add A/N on ff.net. For those reasons I would highly recommend reading my fics on AO3 rather than ff.net if you can. But like, if you really want to read them there I can't stop you :kekw: /lh
