transcript:
Aurora: I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, but I promise I will get to each and every one of you. And to thank you for your patience, I have a gift for all of you. Who would like a cow?
For the first review this month, I’m looking at the last dying bit of relevance of the Disney Direct-to-Video movies, Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams, and there is a reason you have probably never heard of this one.
Disney Parks Animatronic Tournament: Bracket A/Tier 1 Round 1
Belle and Prince Adam: Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast(2020-current) - Tokyo Disneyland
Propaganda:
"That entire ride has so many incredible and impressive animatronics but these two (which are joined so I’m counting as one) are dancing and lifting feet and wow"
"The animatronics from the ride are so incredibly expressive and life-like, and the dance and transformation are my two favorite moments from the ride. How the dance works in particular, making it look like the beast is really was really walking through the steps, is just incredible.
(Video is already set to start at the point of the animatronic! If it doesn't, go to 7:29)
youtube
Tiana: Tiana's Bayou Adventure (2024. Note, this ride has not opened yet, but we do have a little preview of one of the Tiana animatronics) - Magic Kingdom Disney World and Disneyland
Propaganda:
"Princess and the frog is such an unsung gem of a movie!!"
"Super expressive and fluid movements"
240th edit and this is for @little-bloodied-angel as a huge thank you for being a friend I can go to with recent very emotionally intense things in my personal life. As well this to offer your comfort in how things been in your own life too. I hope this gift helps you smile and show my thanks.
This is the first page of a comic I've been working on lately. It's inspired from the cartoon "Disney enchanted tales: follow your dreams". This is the moment when Abu told Jasmine (and Iago) how he influenced the princess's mother's horse to escape (horse name - Sahara). But I changed Iago to Al just because I really missed him in this cartoon!
I've been thinking a lot about fairy tales and princesses and magic and sovereignty, and then the other day I finally sat down and watched "Enchanted" (2007) and 18k words of fic just came pouring out of me.
It's not even finished. This is the first half, and the only reason I'm putting this on pause is because I have something I'm working on for NaNo.
Anyway, this is what happens when the career woman from New York marries the manic pixie dream prince and starts taking the business of ruling a magical kingdom seriously.
