the trend of recent historical girls not coming with dolls of their own makes me sad not just because that was one of my absolute Favorite things that historical girl collections had, but because it feels like theres less of an emphasis of the historical girls being little girls. like im no big fan of courtney but there was something SO refreshing about her pajamas being a care bear nightgown and her coming with a care bear and a little ag doll of her own. a little girl doesnt always wear these stylish matching pjs: hell, i had a care bear nightgown when i was courtney's age!! little kids like toys!! even the characters in more serious stories like addy had toys that they loved and were just as special as anything else in their lives. like please just let these characters be little girls and enjoy things for children

i saw that people have been complaining about Sari’s upgraded design,, and so I decided to make my own version. I kept her a kid, and mixed a bit of the og upgrade outfit with her normal one, adding a few extra elements such as more bits of black to kind of reference Bee, cause i thought that would be cute. Not sure what the belt is for yet, but i imagine it being some sort of storage unit thingie?? 

i tried to keep it subtle but added joints to show more of her cybertronian side. I tried not to change her TOO much but make it almost a perfect mix, because i like the idea of it symbolizing her accepting herself and all she is. alfjdslfa cheesy but like 💀... but yeah!! so it’s relatively small changes, but just enough, i think. I’m not sure if i should redesign her bot form aswell.

'A Brighton family have literally stopped traffic with a new mural inspired by a sari pattern on their new home.

Poppy Jaman and Jaan Madan moved to Southampton Street in Hanover in January, and immediately knew they wanted to make a splash when decorating the outside.

She said: “One of the reasons we wanted to move to the centre of Brighton is that it’s so colourful.

“We were inspired by murals in Washington where there’s a whole area where there’s murals which have been created out of adversity.

“That inspired the idea of making a statement with our home. I wanted to not just paint something that I love. If you just love something that’s enough, but I also wanted to say here’s a bit of my identity.

“I collect saris and Jamdani is a signature saris of Bangladesh. It’s got a colonial past to it.

The mural is inspired by the Jamdani weave saree, the signature saree of Dhaka, Bangladesh, which dates back at least as far back as 300BC.

Between the 16th and 19th centuries, Jamdani fabric – so fine it was known as ‘woven air’ – was one of the most highly coveted commodities in Mughal courts and further afield. However, by the mid-19th century, Jamdani had become almost extinct.

a sari is megatron's daughter au but shattered glass, sg sari has always know shes not fully human but after the autobots escape and kidnap Isaac she teams up with the decepticons to hunt them down(and kill issac) and becomes friends with black arachnia who she lets scan her to understand more about techno organics when she realizes sari's cybertronian half lines up with megatron's robot equivalent of dna.

this ends up with sari getting a fusion cannon and a good dad.

Ooo?? That's got to have interesting results, and I've thought before about the sg tfa mecha having a different order of things

i really wish that tfa kept Sari as an 8 year old even after her upgrade. like she was funny and could still hold her own without physically fighting because she was clever. she really got sidelined and lost a lot of personality

YEAH like they were movong focus off the humans and more on cybertron in season 3 but like. sari would be the perfect audience proxy to exposit stuff about cybertron too. i don’t think she needed an upgrade at all either if they needed to drain the key they couldve used it to overload the space bridge rather than starscreams head for example, or like the combo of starscreams allspark shard and the key
