(afab) Demigirl Culture is wondering if you are just a cis girl looking for attention.
(general) Demigirl Culture is feeling gender envy at femboys (inspired)
(outed) Demigirl Culture is trying to explain your label because it isn't very well known.(I'm still closeted though)
(closeted) Demigirl culture is being fine with she but wanting to be called they too (afab only part) and wondering if because you are fine with she you are just a cis girl
Anything else I missed?

I've always been a demigirl, I just didn't know there was a label for it till now, I'm not really sure how to express how I feel, but I'll try.
I relate and identify with womanhood and girlhood, but I also feel so...disconnected from it? I don't really accept being in the gender binary/spectrum, but I do feel slightly connected to my AGAB. It's like, my experiences and the way I feel makes me fall under the gender social label of a girl, but personally I reject being part of the gender system, I'm not sure how to say it.
Eitherway, this is my experience, and I'm glad I'm not alone.
Thank you for sharing!! <3

"can I be [x gender] if I..." "can I still call myself [x term] if..." yes. yes. if you like the term then use it. do whatever you want forever. labels are just little words we use to categorize our infinitely complex existential experiences on this floating rock !! no two people who use the same label are going to experience it the same way and that's the beauty of it !! use "contradictory" labels, use labels that don't make sense to anyone, change your label every day or not at all, explore anything and everything, use no labels at all or every label under the sun, confuse people or correct them or let them assume things rather than explaining, I promise nothing other people think about your identity is worth your happiness !!

I thought it was a feminine day and then someone referred to me as a girl and I switched flipped and I realized it was a androgynous day.

I literally do not understand how most people perfer punk as just the aesthetic after knowing about the culture.Sickest music ever, learning to make your own shit,UNlearning internalized bigotry, helping people, being weird as fuck, breaking the law, sense of community and solidarity, kids looking up to you and getting them join in.What is the downside compared to looking cool with piercings and dyed hair but not even being willing to be rude to people who actually deserve it instead of trying to be Mcu quip-adjacent,it's like we're an entirely different species. Are you guys afraid to develop personalities? Is that why you kin Mcu characters?

Paragirl culture is occasionally telling people you identify as a demigirl because trying to explain paragender can be exhausting sometimes to do multiple times.

difference between demigirl, girlflux, and genderfae (masc versions: demiboy, boyflux, and genderfaun)
welllll , lemme give a little explanation for you !
a demigirl (by my understanding) is someone who doesn’t fully identify as a girl/woman . that womanly/femininity of a woman/girl feeling is there , but not entirely if that makes sense .
being girlflux (by my understanding) means that you fluctuate from feeling agender/genderless to feeling some range of femininity . basically , the intensity on how fem you feel fluctuates (hence the flux at the end there) . and you don’t have to fluctuate just between feeling agender/genderless and feeling more feminine ! other genders can be involved too from what ik !
a genderfae person (by my understanding) is kinda like being genderfluid , but you don’t fluctuate between masc-aligning genders , you’re kinda closer with those fem-aligning genders if that makes sense ? basically , you don’t really feel those male/masc-aligning genders when you’re genderfae .
^ it’s a bit like girlflux , i know , but girlflux is more about how fem you feel, rather than genderfae which is more about feeling fem itself . but then how are those different from being a demigirl ? well , being a demigirl is just that partial feeling of being a woman/girl along with whatever else you feel along w/ that , instead of being abt the amount of femininity you feel on a given day (girlflux) , or not really encountering any masculine gender identities as your gender fluctuates (genderfae)
just to make this clear : I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON EVERY LABEL . I MAY NOT BE FULLY RIGHT ON SOME OF THESE OR IM MISSING SOMETHING . MY ANSWERS HERE ARE JUST BASED ON WHAT I KNOW AS I DON’T IDENTIFY WITH THESE LABELS PERSONALLY . (which is why i put “from my understanding before explaining each label !!)
anyways , yea there u go ! i dont really feel like i need to explain their inverses (because literally just plug demiboy , boyflux , and genderfaun in with their similar counterparts and replace words like “feminine” and “woman” with “masculine” and “man” , and bam you have their basic outlines from what ik)
if you wanna learn more abt those labels , i’d def recommend looking at other culture is blogs that are centered around them , because they most likely give a better definition of their labels than i do ! and if you wanna add on to this , feel free to !!

(Afab) Demi-girl culture is wondering if you’re considered trans or cis or not a binary gender and just generally being confused as to where you stand because you feel like a girl and you don’t get bothered with girly things but at the same time you don’t and you don’t want to be girly. Demi-girl culture is so confusing

GNC genderfluid demigirl wlw culture is sometimes thinking about my wife (gf actually) and being like: "Heck, I wish I could be a husband for you. Like, husband in a female way."
And planning to ask her about calling me masc terms next day. And then feeling femme again :(
Anon. Just do it. Talk to your wife and tell her about this. You’re allowed to mix and match terms however you please and are part of a long tradition of being someone’s femme husband ( on your days where you are femme ). Good luck and godspeed.

#Demigirl describes someone who partially, but not fully, identifies as a woman or girl. Demigirl's may also identify as another gender in addition to identifying as a woman/girl, such as #nonbinary, #trans, or #genderqueer.
