Out this week: New Talent Showcase: The Milestone Initiative #1 (DC, $3.99):
You might remember the Milestone Initiative, which DC kicked off in 2021 “to identify, support and elevate emerging diverse writers and artists within the comic book industry.” The program brought in 12 writers and 12 artists to hone their skills with some of DC’s best, and this anthology features their work.

Who is the writer you think captures Zee's personality the best
Paul Dini.
I think Zee works best when she is depicted as a performer with a flair for showmanship.
Also I think Ryan Cady (writer) and Isaac Goodhart (artist) who wrote her story in DC New Talemt Showcase 2018 also did a great job of capturing this aspect of her character.

Danny gets invited into a robotics/mechanics club after he mumbled out the basic idea of his parent's latest invention just by looking at it, the name did help.
He doesn't have much of a choice to recognize what an invention can do based off of its look for his safety.
So mechanics and engineering he just starts picking up from his parents through association.
At some point, he has to modify one because it hurts both humans and ghosts.
His parents are so caught up on the fact that it hurts ghosts as intended that they completely miss that it hurts humans too, severely.
Danny, and Tucker when needed, start modifying the weapons for people's safety. Which Danny gets really good at and starts taking his parent's blueprints and building safer, and mostly better, inventions.
So, when this new classmate overhears the trio discussing on how to fix it. They think Danny would be a great addition to the club, and when they bring it up at their next meeting, everyone else either doesn't believe them or is joking.
Due to gossip and high school hierarchy (by Casper standards), Danny is a freak, loser, and stupid.
This classmate brings Danny's intelligence to himself and tries to urge this kid to come to the club one day after school.
Danny downgrades his own intelligence on engineering that the classmate is befuddled, until being at Casper for longer they understand on why this is.
A school event has this classmate trying to strike high praise on Danny, but even his parents kind of bat him aside to talk about ghosts.
People start gossiping that this classmate has a crush on Danny.
Eventually, they do get Danny to a club and the rest of the members kind of call him out on his crush, in front of Danny. However, he does prove himself and the club agrees to invite him to some kind of multi-school engineering showcase, and they do need one other person to make a full team.
He really doesn’t want to go. Somehow his parents are pushing him to go. At some point, somehow, he's being required to go.
Maybe Tucker and Sam urge him to go, who already noticed Danny's talent. He still doesn't want to leave Amity, but with his friends pushing him to have fun he's more willing to think about it.
Maybe the trip becomes a 50/50 extra credit opportunity on his math and science grades, which he needs.
Marvel: Tony, Peter, and/or Banner are at this event to find future employees or award scholarships.
DC: Bruce and/or Tim are at this event (maybe another as well), to also find future employees or award scholarships.
Maybe there's some kind of lead revealed during this event that helps a case.
They find Danny being isolated by the club except for the classmate and they're curious on why.
The classmate is giving high praises, gifting information that Danny doesn't want revealed, to these people who will actually listen.
This team gets challenged to build something different.
The classmate turns to Danny to help out and he gets invited by the rest, but he doesn't get a say...
Danny sees something wrong and tries to say something, but no one let's him get a word in..
When the build gets judged, it doesn't work. Danny with random parts in hand, fixes it on the spot adding a little touch that makes it work and then some.
He gets high compliments from these very smart people, but he brushes them aside. Not realizing what he did, he'd just really wants to get back to Amity.
While the event is still going on, he gets pulled aside to look over a project or design and he can tell what needs fixed or how to reroute power better (purposeful mistakes meant to challenge him).
Here he is, at an event for school, being given complements and not really noticing.
These people very curious on who this kid is goes searching. Maybe the club kids tell the not-paying-attention-club-advisor that he did nothing.
Maybe the one doing the complimenting calls the school and, petty tattles on the club, gives full praise and offers a scholarship.
Someone can be so focused on either working on what they want to do or what they have to do (in Danny's case), that talent found isn't recognized even if highly complimented by an expert.
The mental image of Tim inviting Danny to the manor to help out with a WE project, and Tim is trying to get him to recognize his own talent. Bonus points if its vigilante associated (like Nightwing's eskrima sticks malfunctioning and sleep deprived Tim can't figure it out). Bonus points if the rest of the family are there over seeing.
Maybe he can't be an astronaut anymore cause he doesn’t fit certain requirements. Maybe he can still work for NASA despite his grades, he fixes a missed problem that would've made the rocket launch unsuccessful, and it was a last-minute change.

I just want to add the following: I cannot guarantee that this is 100% accurate or up to date. I will do my best to update when we get new Jason content. I have not had any help with this and got the information from multiple other sources. Because I've had no help, no one has proof checked this so there might be some errors.
If you notice any errors or know of anything I've missed please let me know and I will fix the error as soon as I can!

Bruce’s was so fucking annoying in BvR #4.
Ever since Rebirth started he has been a horrible and neglectful father toward Damian for no reason and not once has DC made him acknowledge his mistakes or apologize for them (at least not in a half-assed way), even in this event about Damian being possessed by a demon, he hasn’t shown any genuine concern toward Damian in the past 3 issues, yet here he is acting like a father-of-the-year and claiming that he’s here to save his son, which includes a corny ass scene where Bruce jumps in-front of Damian to shield him from a blast to show off how good of a father he is.
It has to ALWAYS be about him, it doesn’t matter how horrible he is, DC will simply never portray their precious Batman as being in the wrong and instead will go out of their way to create new stories and narratives to gaslight us into thinking that all this time he was actually being a good father (which includes making up a fake memory of Bruce taking Damian to an amusement park, even though he has never taken Damian to any nice place like that before in canon)
And this will results in not only Damian not receiving any compensation, but also having everything good about him, from his talents and skills to his morals and compassion, attributed to his father who in canon has nothing to do with those positives traits, but since he’s Batman™ then it okay for him to steal all the credit for that and this sucks big time because Talia was still vilified in this story and they portrayed her as a horrible parent just to contrasts with Bruce’s (imaginary) good parenting skills, so why do his flaws get swept under the rug while her flaws (that are the result of racist writing) get highlighted?
In short, being heavily associated with Bruce/Batman is a curse, because DC’s first priority will always be to showcase him a positive light, hence why Damian is still being portrayed as his bratty problem child and Talia as his crazy evil ex-wife after all of these years.

It may have been Tomorrow X Together's first time performing in Washington D.C., but it's safe to say the group left a lasting impact on the nation's capital after their concert on May 16, leaving fans eagerly waiting for their return. The five-member K-pop boy group made its fourth stop on the U.S. leg of the "Act: Sweet Mirage" world tour at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
Before Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai even made their way on stage, the fans – lovingly referred to as "MOA" – were already full of high energy and spirit. Lightsticks, pickets and signs adorned the practically full arena, and cheers and chants immediately broke out when the boys finally hit the stage.
Tomorrow X Together is no stranger to lively and passionate performances, having countless since the group's debut in 2019. And the "Act: Sweet Mirage" tour furthers cements Tomorrow X Together's spot as leaders in South Korea's music scene.
From energetic and dazzling sets to entertaining interactions between Tomorrow X Together and MOA, here are some highlights from the group's first show in Washington D.C.
A journey through TXT's discography
The "Act: Sweet Mirage" tour setlist showcases the vastness of Tomorrow X Together's musical concepts. Youthfulness remains at the group's core with each of its songs showcasing the nuances of what it means to grow up.
"Blue Hour" served as the perfect start. Dressed in princely attire, it felt like the members were inviting MOA into their kingdom (a castle in the background included). Once the boys took on the fan-favorite dance break and confetti rung throughout the arena, the night's journey truly had begun.
Each section of songs had its own feel – a different atmosphere and tone, but still quintessentially Tomorrow X Together. "Drama" and "No Rules" brought a youthful energy with the members changing into jerseys and playfully tossing around a basketball.
From the whimsy and fun of "Magic" to the angsty, rock-style of "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" and "LO$ER=LO♡ER," Tomorrow X Together transitioned from song to song with different emotions and new outfits.
The group fit 25 songs into the night and never slowed the momentum. Even during the performances without choreography, like "Anti-Romantic," the members' voices carried to emotional heights, highlighting their seemingly unshakable talents.
And no Tomorrow X Together show would be complete without the fan- and group-favorite "Cat & Dog," which had the arena erupt in barks with the outro: "Let's play forever, I just wanna be your dog."

An outpour of love from TXT to MOA and back
The connection between Tomorrow X Together and MOA (which stands for "moments of alwaysness") was so palpable that anyone in the arena's vicinity could just feel the love and support in the air.
"We are finally together," said Soobin during the show. "Thank you so much for making our dream a reality." Yeonjun echoed those sentiments, "I think MOA is the whole reason we keep going."
At one point, the group brought out lightsticks, and each member took a section and showed off different movements, all which exemplified the respective member's personalities.
Yeonjun got the crowd moving even more by teaching the "Happy Fools" dance. The members then went to different sections to watch MOA perform, highlighting some audience members on a big screen.
“I will cherish every moment I spent together with MOA in my heart,” said Hueningkai toward the concert's end.
“As always, our MOAs did not disappoint from start to finish,” said Beomgyu. “You’re the best.”
