Random Danny Phantom thought.
Danny and them are sitting around somewhere and Dani's there, and Tucker warns Dani to never search for ghost stuff online because the Guys In White monitor that type of thing. And Sam mentions how, a few years before Danny got his powers, she'd done a search for something about spirits and then had to prove to them that she wasn't a ghost or had ties to any ghosts.
And Danny's like, "Wait, they do what? Because every time I get frustrated with my powers, I start searching the web for help with them. ...Never find anything useful, though."
So everyone stares at Danny for a moment, and Tucker asks how he's not in a lab right now.
(A week earlier at GIW headquarters, an agent at a computer mentions to his co-worker that someone just searched for 'how to ghost' from a certain IP address. His co-worker says it'll be coming from Fenton Works. One of the Fenton's kids does that exact same search every so often. It sounds like they're following in their parents' footsteps and searching for how to hunt ghosts. The Fenton kids and Valerie Gray are both on a list for possible recruits.)
When Danny's eighteen (and still has his secret), a Guys In White agent approaches him, and Danny blurts out that no, he's not a ghost.
The agent says he didn't ask if he was...? And then goes on to invite Danny to join the GIW.
So then... Danny might end up deciding to join the GIW. With them never realizing they have a ghost working under them.

Men having kids through surrogacy to fulfill selfish wants without thinking of the impact on the kids would be reduced if surrogacy agencies has a screening process
Wife returns from work one day, sees strange woman at home holding infant
Husband hires surrogate to have longed-for child, furious wife threatens divorce
By Alice Yan in Shanghai Published: 9:00am, 29 Mar 2024
A woman in China has told how her husband resorted to secret surrogacy to acquire a baby because the couple’s 29-year-old daughter refused to give him a grandchild.
The 53-year-old woman, surnamed Guo, said when she returned from work one day in September 2022, she saw a strange woman in her home holding an infant, according to Henan Television.
The stranger told Guo the child belonged to her and her husband, and she had been hired as a maid.
A shocked Guo later learned that the baby was born via surrogacy after her husband paid an agency.
The child was carried by a university student, the report said.
Guo and her husband, who live in Yiyang, Hunan province in central China, have one daughter – their only child, who told them she does not want to marry or have children.
“My husband said, ‘Your choice means I will never be a grandfather. What’s the point of raising you? Not having a baby means you are not filial, according to Chinese traditional culture’,” Guo said.
The man, whose age was not included in the report, said because the infant girl was so cute and healthy, he might ask the surrogacy institute for a boy next time.
“I flared up into a fury. I am going to divorce him,” said Guo.
The husband stole his wife’s identity card to apply for the infant’s birth certificate which states that he is her father and Guo is her mother.

The husband stole his wife’s identity card to apply for the infant’s birth certificate which states that he is her father and Guo is her mother.
The news report told the story of another man, aged 62, from Henan province in central China who also hired a surrogacy company without telling his family, so he could have a baby boy.
The man’s daughter said her father had wanted a son for a long time.
“After the one-child policy was abandoned, my father asked my mother to have another child for him. But my mother was nearly 50 and she did not want to have another child,” said the daughter.
She said the surrogacy company charged her father 540,000 yuan (US$75,000) and guaranteed the baby would be a boy.
Surrogacy is illegal in China. In 2023, the authorities issued a directive to crack down on the activity.
The story caused a heated discussion on mainland social media.
“I support surrogacy being illegal. Otherwise, women will just be used for their wombs,” one online observer said on Douyin.
“Maybe in the future, dating couples will need to check their DNA to see if they are siblings,” wrote another.

also a Dirk Gently WIP whenever just for kicks. from the ongoing Forces Unseen sequel
-
“Holy shit,” Todd said, hearing Dirk come in through the door he’d left propped open. “Did you know we can see the Washington Monument from here?”
Dirk joined him at the window and wrapped an arm around his middle from behind. He was suddenly feeling a bit clingy, like he was going to need to front load all the cuddles he could get, which was abjectly ridiculous. Todd had never shied away from that, if anything it was Dirk who’d been jumpy lately about tender little moments like this. Still, Dirk couldn’t shake the feeling that he’d be wanting more of this later but might not be able to get it. He hooked his chin over Todd’s shoulder and squinted out the window, not sure what Todd was referring to.
“The bloke on the penny’s house?” he asked, not seeing it. “I don’t think he lives in DC anymore, Todd.”
“What?” Todd asked, pulling back a little to look at him before pointing at a large lit-up obelisk surrounded by illuminated American flags. “No, that. I’ve only ever seen it in movies, National Treasure didn’t prepare me for the real thing.”
“Ohhh,” Dirk said, comprehension dawning as he held Todd close to his front. “You mean the giant pencil statue.”
“The giant—Dirk, that’s the Washington Monument. As in George Washington? It doesn’t even look like a pencil.”
“Doesn’t look much like George Washington either,” Dirk mused, and whatever retort Todd had been about to fire back was interrupted by the sharp trill of Dirk’s phone.

The fact is, every time Devi has an active choice, based on what she wants, not on distracting herself from her pain or grief, she chooses Ben. Season 1, SHE kisses HIM at the end of the season. Season 2, she wants to choose him and then wants him back almost the whole season. But at the end, she doesn’t consider him a choice anymore because he’s with Aneesa now and she thinks he’s over her. Even so, at the dance when they have their convo and he almost asks her to dance, she perks up at it. Season 3, she chooses to have sex with Ben. Doesn’t even change her clothes or care what she’s wearing she just goes there. SHE goes to HIM. And season 4, again she wants to be with him but doesn’t consider him a choice because he is with Margot, but she doesn’t choose anyone else as a result. She has her fun with Ethan and kisses Paxton, but she was going to end up alone and thinks Ben just sees her as a friend (showing that she would choose him if she thought he was an option). And then he goes to her, confesses his feelings and the rest my friends is history.
