Can you tell I've been obsessively watching this on repeat for the last few hours? Can you tell how little I care and how I'm gonna keep doing it until it's burned onto my brain?
Credits to @ultima on YouTube
I decided to re-upload it as a video, instead of a link.

My prediction for the next episodes. People are yelling on Armand in the Wakfu tags while my boi is going through it. Real talk tho, it's a fucking miracle this guy hasn't turned in a full blown villain yet. I suspect it's a matter of time.

How is Coqueline older than Dathura?
In the first episode of the fourth season, the brotherhood of the Tofu, accompanied by The Siblings, venture into the library of the Gods. It is revealed by Dathura that this place is where every recorded life of every being that has ever existed is kept. During their visit, Dathura picks up Coqueline's life book, which appears significantly thicker than the others, and presents it to her.
What’s absurd about this moment is that Dathura tells her that the book looks bigger than any other in here because she’s the oldest among them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn’t it odd how a demigoddess osamodas is OLDER than one of Sadida’s divine dolls?
I say this because it sounds very strange based on the existing knowledge we have about the creation of the world.
According to the lore of the World of Twelve, when the gods first discovered this world, it was entirely uninhabited. There was no trace of any living beings or natural elements.
The gods decided to use their divine power to create a world that is suitable for their subjects to live in. The gods Osamodas and Sadida played a significant role in creating the wildlife and plant life respectively. (it is worth noting that Xelor also played a crucial role in the creation of time itself, though this is not directly related to the topic at hand)
When it was time to bring balance to the world, Sadida crafted ten Sadida dolls with the intention of seducing Osamodas' ten dragons. However, only six of the dolls were successful in their mission, which resulted in the creation of the six primordial Dofus that we know today.
This is where Coqueline's initial appearance seems to be somewhat disorganized.
During the period when Osamodas and Sadida collaborated to create the Dofus, their subjects could not have been created because the world lacked balance which made it difficult for their people to live in it. This underscores the importance of the Dofus in maintaining equilibrium in their world.
So here is where the question comes in.
If Coqueline is older than Dathura, how was Coqueline conceived?
Coqueline is a demigoddess so her mother must’ve been a mortal who had once lived before the creation of the dofus, a time when Dathura did not exist.
The Ogrest manga does not explain nor mention Coqueline’s past or her mother.
I also tried to look into the Dofus game and see what it can tell us about Coqueline’s background and yet again, I have nothing. There is a chance I might have missed information regarding her though since I do not play Dofus.
Regardless of whether or not I played the game, Coqueline is only seen wanting to take revenge on her father in Dofus.
It is clear now that Coqueline could not have come from a time when mortals could live properly in the world. Therefore, her mother could not have been a mortal. It can be deduced that Coqueline must have been conceived by a dragon.
And here are the reasons for this assumption.
Coqueline, who is considered to be the oldest member of The Siblings, appears to be significantly younger than her peers. Her youthful appearance is so striking that it could easily lead one to mistake her for a child no older than Elely and Flopin.
The young-looking appearance of a person within a group can sometimes be deceiving, as it may not accurately reflect their actual age. This phenomenon is reminiscent of Yugo, who despite having a childlike appearance, was actually an adult.
Yugo's physical appearance is distinctively child-like due to the presence of dragon blood in his veins. This unique biological makeup inhibits his normal growth process, resulting in him being unable to mature at a rate comparable to his friends.
There is only one known instance where an individual was observed to age slowly due to the presence of dragon blood in their system. And this exceptional case was Yugo.
So when we look at Coqueline, it appears that she is also affected by the aging issue similar to Yugo. Since her father is the god of beasts, which encompasses dragons among other creatures, it is worth noting that this correlation may not be a mere coincidence.
It's possible that Coqueline's irregular growth compared to the other demigods could be explained by her being a product of Osamodas and a dragon. This would not only suggest that her genetic composition is different from the others, but it would also explain why she still looks and sounds like a child despite being the oldest.

♋ - Is there something that makes them particularly defensive?
Dathura opens her mouth as if to speak, but seems to reconsider. She shakes her head, eventually settling on a simple answer.
"Let's not get into anything serious, shall we?"

In very much love with @geekgirles fic “The Doll and The Dragon”
I want to marry it
I took inspiration for her doll like qualities from what we saw of Dathura in s3 (I alos may have taken some artistic liberties cause I just love this idea so much and wanted to play with it)
I also had to change the skirt cause I made the fatal error of drawing the pose before rechecking the description of the outfit. Whoops

Lady Echo: A Character Analysis
Before we dive in, there's something about me you should know. I'm a TV Tropes truther. That site is my Bible. If a piece of media interests me, then you'd better believe I have visited its TV Tropes page.
And because of that, Echo in particular is a character I've been meaning to talk about for a while now, because I get the feeling people tend to overlook what I feel is the true core of her character at the end of season 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see, while other tropes go more into detail about her true motivations behind betraying Oropo, that part of her character ends up being reduced to being a Woman Scorned, and while that certainly applies here, I really don't think that's the trope that best encapsulates her character and her decisions at the end of the season.
A Woman Scorned is essentially any woman who has been wronged by the person she loves and seeks revenge or has at least expressed great anger. And it can go from being cheated on by a partner, or simply being rejected by their love interest and not taking it well. And both heroic and villainous characters can be the ones to break her heart. In fact, Arpagone too would be an example of this trope, as even if her feelings for Ruel are still there, most of her actions are motivated by the pain she feels for his decision to choose money over her.
Tumblr media
As you can see, this all fits with Echo's actions and feelings at the end of season 3, but it's very general overall. Which is why, in my humble opinion, Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.
This trope is essentially a deconstruction of tropes centred around the appeal bad boys have for women. The thing about women falling for bad boys is that those women tend to know they're bad news, and beyond a desire to be the ones to change them, the real reason that interest is born is because they're attracted to the idea of the bad boy being a jerk to everyone, but them. Love Forgives All but Lust is what happens when the woman is rudely awakened from that delusion.
In other words, when they realise not even they are safe from their partner's worst actions. And what is the best way to have a woman feel betrayed to the point of seeking revenge? Unfaithfulness.
Sure, they will forgive their partner if it turns out he's a serial killer, but if he cheats? Then he's the one who's dead.
And example of Love Forgives All but Lust is when the police is trying to get a mafioso's wife/girlfriend to testify against her lover, but she refuses to cooperate... until she discovers her husband/boyfriend has a lover, then she'll do everything to bring him down.
If you think about it, this is essentially what happened between Echo and Oropo after he revealed he only ever "loved" Amalia. Even if Echo is a much more active player in Oropo's machinations than simply being aware of them, having helped him carry over his plans for centuries as his second-in-command.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After he kissed Amalia and claimed Echo never meant anything to him compared to her, that's when Echo totally lost it. And her subsequent actions are a direct result of his betrayal. It never had anything to do with Echo seeing the error of her ways, as we all know.
Think about it, it wasn't until Oropo chose Amalia over her, after everything they had ever been through, that Echo truly struck. Once it became apparent her lover didn't care for her nearly as much as she cared for him, that's when Echo revealed his true plans: to destroy the gods, he must destroy the World of Twelve and deprive them of followers. In other words, he was willing to commit mass genocide for the sake of his dream.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moreoever, the fact that she got to reveal the true extent of his plans at all already highlights that only she knew about them. All along, Echo knew what Oropo was planning, the consequences of his dreams, and she never once stopped believing in his cause. Their conversation in episode 6 even going as far as explaining Echo already believed in him and supported his dreams before ever falling for him, meaning she can't even excuse her actions by saying her feelings blinded her. Because she was perfectly aware of Oropo's plans all along.
And yet, that didn't stop her from loving him. If anything, it was only another reason she fell in love with him.
No, it wasn't until Oropo broke her heart that she ever went against him.
If you ask me, this all reads as Echo not minding Oropo's most questionable tendencies because she was convinced she was exempt from ever being at the receiving end of his worst actions. After all, she had been by his side the longest, witnessing how he got rid of demigods that failed to meet his standards or were no longer useful (going with what the show claims, I haven't read Ogrest's manga). It wasn't until he kissed Amalia and shoved her aside that Echo realised not even she was safe from him.
And it was because Oropo had had no qualms to screw her over that Echo decided it was her turn to screw him over. And hence, she revealed his plans to the Brotherhood of the Forgotten, not because she'd seen the error of her ways, but because Oropo had hurt her and she wanted to make him bleed in turn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end, Echo's actions weren't fuelled solely by revenge or even jealousy, they were fuelled by the bitter realisation that she never meant as much to Oropo as he meant to her. It was about realising he had no qualms hurting her, not about how he had no qualms hurting anyone else.
It was about Echo not being enough for Oropo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And for me, that's why Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.

I wrote a lot, and not everything at the same time, but like brain got too full of Wakfu so yeah, thoughts time. I tried organizing it chonologically.
I wonder if Ruel will end up going back to Arpagone eventually, to me it seems like he decided he was done with her for good. That seems crazy but at the same time I'm pretty sure she did the most toxic thing you can do to an Enutrof. I mean, they haven't been together for a long time, I kind of wish they did talk to each other, set the records straight and left it there, but I'm okay with what happened too. Also good for Arapgone on finding something that makes her feel worthwhile by helping others.
Ruel really said the real treasure was the son we got along the way in the end, and he was so right for that.
Yugo getting the shit kicked out of him because Iops seem to have face blindness is some real comedy, the lightness in the whole scene really helped me feel that Yugo was still very much him. And given how heavy anything about the antagonists is that felt warranted, that made me feel very good. He's very chill though. Retrospectively I think it confirms what a lot of people like me may have been thinking, that Yugo was generally very tense due to body dysmorphia on top of everything else. Good for him.
I'm going to be real, Pin calling for Flopin got me so hard. I said "oh no" out loud.
Eva went full big sister mode upon seeing Yugo ;-;. I always loved their bond, it's at the center of one of, if not the best solo episode of the whole show, s2 ep 16, so the fact that it never weakens has me in a chokehold. I see the little gestures and I think "oh, they're family", with them it's all in the little gestures.
Yugo recieveing a big iop group hug and going :> was so cute. Kind of surprised Goultard also was part of it but Yugo deserves all the hugs so I absolutely am taking it.
Yugo telling Eliatrope to do something or fuck off and being the only one to manage to get her to do something has to be one of the biggest nat 20 on persuasion of all time. She's coming back to deliver the kids once things are safe though, right? And without the eye thingies right? Right?
No more Brakmar? Damn, that feels weird.
King Osamodas can take my fists, the way he just refuses to listen to Amalia and is barely willing to do the same to Armand given the nature of the invasion is really irritating.
The joy of Ad upon seeing Yugo still alive ;v;
Little interesting parallel of Yugo and Eliatrope both using the same force field technique. Not sure if it means anything, but I know it felt relevant to me.
Amalia going "are we about to kiss rn" and Yugo going "nah babe there's a war that'll leave a bad taste. Promise I'm hyping up my game for later though" was perfect. I got scared that they would kiss at that moment because it didn't feel right, but at the same time you cannot tell me they wouldn't want to soo damn bad.
Ad and Armand's eyes turning purple upon using the Eliasphere, huh...
Oh so Dathura is still there and places herself as a last defense for the Tree of Life, interesting but like, she just disappeared in the meantime? Well it's not her story I guess we didn't need to know, but still.
Joris asking Yugo if he knows what he's doing. Joris, he knows about as much as usual, he's just doing his best but thanks for making sure.
The way Eva and Tristepin react to their family being put in danger is interesting to me. Pinpin will jump to their rescue, but he's the one moving, that makes sense to him. Eva is, and has always been, the type to stay in place at the face of danger, whether out of fear or stubborness, so she asks for Pinpin to be the one to move away from the danger, but she won't move. Their dynamic is precious.
I'm curious about Pinpin's hair... burning? What's going on there?
Armand's sacrifice was powerful, he wasn’t a great prince, but he was an amazing King.
Joris! Joris! Joris! Joris! Imma hype that little man. Him and Yugo making the Team Blue Shorties (well, not so much anymore) was great. Team Demigods was also pretty damn cool.
Aurora is building a very bad rep for the Osamodas Kingdom by flying away, but I undertand the pain she must have felt at the moment. Her father still was treating their countries' alliance as something purely strategic, but she loved him. To her that meant something, and Amalia's simple movement of rejection while under intense distress and grief was enough for her to decide to listen to her father and not to fight by everyone's side.
Actually Eva IS very much the one to get people to move. She gets Amalia back up too.
Yugo turning Oropo's words against Toross is interesting. Wonder if it has any weird implications for the future. Maybe not though, maybe Yugo has been warned enough, he's not the type to enjoy the feeling that comes with being extremely powerful too much after all. The Eliacube freaked him out, the 6 Dofus made him scared the whole time and the consequences sucked, and the Eliasphere can litteraly cause his death. I think if anyone can hold that much power, that would be him (or Joris, Joris looks like he can be trusted with pretty much anything)
Big nope on Toross for trying to make Nora his bride. Nopenopenopenopenope go away. I'm surprised Yugo managed to keep a straight face, because I think I would have just gone for the throat.
Also imagine being a walking talking pan flag and people still assume you're straight.
There are definetly implications that Toross is the one being responsible for the disappearance of the gods. If he can tell the difference between the strengh of a god and that of a demi-god, that means he fought both, and won.
Nora going from forcing herself to be distrustful of Yugo to believing him fully did warm my heart. The short time they spent together doesn't mean they aren’t family.
What do you mean Pinpin never told Eva he loved her??? What??? Really?!?!
Efrim's pain and Nora's love are such a beautiful contrast I feel so much for them I'm not sure I have the words for it.
Flopin is developing his hearing, glad that in a way he didn't miss the wedding.
Btw totally unrelated but Yugo carrying Goultard bridal style during the final fight was NOT on my bingo list.
In the end, Toross' pain and loneliness are eternal, and there litteraly no saving him from his own personal hell. In a lot of ways his story is similar to Qilby's, but the one thing that separates them is the choice: Qilby could still choose to stop hurting his own in service of himself, Toross condemned everyone, including himself, and he can do nothing about it anymore.
Are Nora and Efrim stuck wherever they are together for all of eternity or are their Wakfu going back to their Dofus?
Omg. A wedding. My dude it all happened too fast, the worldwide political chaos that's going to ensue, I'm here for it.
I feel like they did originally want to show us the transition from the Era of Wakfu to Waven but they ended up focusing more on the characters, and that's a very good thing, that allows for Yugo to have a truly, undeniable win thanks not just to being overpowered, due to the main antagonist somehow being worse, but also thanks to the power of friendship and plus if affinity.
Overall those last 3 episodes I was hyped the whole way, and it's crazy because I don't think I felt a feeling that strong so regularly for an entire hour. I write that part about an hour after having watched everything and I still haven't come down, but now I'm having a bit of a feeling like I'm about to cry in the back. That means season 4 of Wakfu was even more amazing than everything I hoped for, because when I'm hoped for something there typically always is that empty feeling. Not here. I'm very, very happy.
The ending really feels like there's more, so I'm happy to know that there will be a manga.

Ogrest’s love for Dathura DID NOT save her.
(THEORY)
Yeah, I went there.
I’m gonna have to explain this so please be aware that there will be major spoilers for the special Ogrest episode.
If you don’t happen to remember how the story went, I’ll summarize the whole thing for you real quick:
We start off with a flashback of Yugo’s childhood where he got sick one rainy day. He was on his bed as he listened to Alibert’s story. Alibert chose to tell Ogrest’s story, how this little creature came to be and how he got raised by Otomaï, his adoptive father.
When I first watched this special episode, I didn’t find anything wrong with it. It was a simple cute one-sided love story between Ogrest and Dathura and how Ogrest had lived his first adventure to remake Dathura’s heart.
But keep in mind that I watched Ogrest last year.
So this time, I wanted to watch it again just to refresh my mind because why not?
Tumblr media
And then it hit me.
This whole innocent love story between Ogrest and Dathura was manufactured from the start. Ogrest never truly loved Dathura.
And here’s where the theory comes into place.
Before Ogrest was ‘born’, Otomaï was taking care of one of Sadida’s dolls named Dathura.
He was taking care of her at the time because her heart was damaged and she needed a special rare ingredient called an Ogrine to repair her heart.
Ogrines are rare particles that can fix Dathura’s heart. They have the form and color of a diamond when you closely examine them.
Tumblr media
During the process of Otomaï preparing the formula, he put lots of ogrines to fix her heart but a small nut had accidentally been put into the mix.
It then created Ogrest to which Otomaï named him after the ogrines that got mixed with the nut.
Tumblr media
After quite some time of Ogrest growing a bit and bonding with his father Otomaï, he comes to find out that he’s different from other people and is saddened to find out how lonely he is because he has no friends no matter how hard he tries to make some. But when he meets Dathura who is also alone and her sleeping body is in one of Otomaï’s rooms, he becomes infatuated with her and fell in love head first for her.
Tumblr media
When he learns that her heart has been broken and needs to be repaired with some ogrines, he promised on his life that he would find some to fix her.
However, when we fast forward into the story and Ogrest manages to go on his first adventure to seek what he needs for her, her heart eventually completely shatters (literally). Due to this tragic event and the fact that Ogrest hasn’t found any ogrines for her, he tried to replace it with a sapphire-shaped heart replica but to no avail.
Tumblr media
Ogrest could do nothing but cry at the hopeless sight and promised her that he will still try to find some ogrines no matter how long it would take.
But suddenly, as if a miracle had happened, some of Ogrest’s magic tears got on Dathura which completely saved her from her deep slumber and she awoke to Ogrest’s joy.
Near the ending, Alibert said that the answer to how Ogrest saved her was because a simple tear of love was enough to wake up a lover.
.............
Tumblr media
BOI LET ME TELL YOU WHY THAT IS SOME BULLSHIT.
When I watched this same scene for the second time, I instantly knew that love did NOT in fact save her.
(Or rather I strongly theorize that love did not work since this still stands as a theory lol)
Ogrest was born with a lot of ogrine that was supposed to be for Dathura, not him. His body was mainly composed of the material that Dathura needed to revive herself.
In other words, Ogrest was basically THE object to use to heal her. He had been the item needed for her all this time.
(This scene also made me think of Rapunzel since she did the same thing. They both had what they needed to heal their loved ones: THEMSELVES)
So the only reason why it even worked in the first place was because Ogrest is made out of ogrine which Dathura needed.
I also believe that the ogrines that made him were responsible for making him have strong feelings for her.
A part of himself was going to BE a part of Dathura after all. Which is why he unconditionally fell in love with Dathura at first sight.
Tumblr media
In the end, we can now clearly suspect that Ogrest loves Dathura by default and not because he genuinely developed feelings for her.
(btw sry for anyone who likes Ogrest with Dathura, don’t mind me I’m just theorizing over here lol.)
(also I just realized that if it wasn’t for these two little rock buffoons accidentally dropping the jar of nuts on Otomaï cuz that pink one got stuck on the jar’s cord, then there wouldn’t have been a giant green ogre flooding the World of Twelve right now 💀)
