Valentine’s Day Headcanon/Drabbles
I’m very slow with requests but I’m currently working on them! I just wanted to write something for Valentine’s Day. Also I don’t usually write Date Mark but since it’s Valentine’s Day I think it fits
Characters in Order: Darkiplier, Damien, Googleplier, Date Mark, Illinois, Eric Derekson, Jameson Jackson
Category: Fluff
Pronouns: They/Them, not used directly
Warnings: Writer’s favorites are obvious, swearing, somewhat spicy reference in Illinois’s but it’s not much
Darkiplier
- This is one of the only holidays he actually plans for and looks forward to
- He actually takes the day off for once to spend time with you
- Would wake you up with your favorite breakfast in bed
- After you’re done eating he cuddles you for a while
- Then he takes you shopping. He’ll buy you pretty much anything you want
- (He’d think it’s really sweet if you got him something too though, so you should do that. It doesn’t have to be expensive)
- Takes you to your favorite restaurant for lunch
- Y’all go for a walk and go to the library/zoo/aquarium (or whatever you prefer)
- He takes you to a fancy restaurant for dinner
- Y’all cuddle and watch movies when you get home <3
Damien
- Y’all stay in for the most part
- Cuddling and movies all day
- He got you flowers and a small gift
- He’d be happy with anything you got him <3
- Makes breakfast and lunch for you
- (Though he will love it if you both cooked together)
- Took you to a nice restaurant for dinner
Googleplier
- He didn’t really understand Valentine’s Day?
- He does his research though
- Goes probably too hard with it
- Ends up planning way too much
- When he wakes you up, he excitedly tells you about everything he planned
- …you very gently let him know that all of his plans would be incredibly stressful
- He’s a little sad at first, but he doesn’t want to stress you out, so he changes his plans to be a couple things
- You get each other some gifts
- You go out to your favorite restaurant for lunch
- Y’all spend the rest of the day cuddling
- Takeout for dinner
- He’s honestly really flustered the whole time
- Even if it isn’t exactly as he planned, he’s still really happy with how everything went <3
Date Mark
- This fucker lives for Valentine’s Day
- The whole speech he gave during ISWM about all the things he planned for the date?
- Yeah, since that didn’t happen, he saved it for today
- He’s actually a real sweetheart when Actor isn’t using him as a character
- Gets you a bouquet of roses, a teddy bear, a box of your favorite kind of chocolate, one of those heart lockets with a picture of both of you in it, and a little heart that he knitted for you
- He sobs of joy and appreciation when you get him something, no matter how small it is
- He takes you to dinner, the fair, and a movie
- And you both hold hands <33
- Y’all binge watch shows and cuddle for the rest of the night
Illinois
- He may be a flirty bastard
- That’s it that’s the sentence
- He does plan an adventure for the day!
- …y’all don’t really leave bed for a while though
- Most of it is cuddling!
- He ends up just taking you to the zoo or aquarium
- He almost cries in public when you get him a gift at the gift shop
- Dinner at the zoo/aquarium food court isn’t the most glamorous, but it was perfect for both of you
- Afterwards you watch cheesy romantic movies until you fall asleep
Eric Derekson
- He made plans! He’s just incredibly nervous to tell you!
- For this reason, you made sure he knew that you’d prioritize any plans he had, but you still had your own ideas
- He shyly brought up that he wanted to have a picnic
- You loved the idea, and your lunch was spent on a blanket in the park <3
- You got him a gift and it made him feel so loved it was great
- He got you some flowers and something you’d had on a gift wishlist
- He was so afraid you wouldn’t like it but he was reassured when you hugged him
- The rest of the day was just the two of you being sweet and romantic with each other
Jameson Jackson
- Gentleman of the year, honestly
- He crocheted some hearts and a little plushie for you
- Turned on some music and danced with you for a while <3
- He made you breakfast, and you make him lunch
- Y’all watched some of yours and his favorite movies for a while
- You gave him some flowers and chocolates
- He loves the classic gifts <3
- You order from y’all’s favorite restaurant for dinner
- The rest of the night is spent chatting and watching movies

May Queen
Pelle x reader
Word Count: 3.7k
Warnings: being indoctored into a cult, murder, suicide, basically the plot of midsommar
Author’s Note: This can be seen as a sequel to ‘Hug’ or it can be read on it’s own!
yeah i was a little excited that you guys wanted this one lol I don’t know if you can tell. I’ve seen this movie enough, it was about time I did something within the events of the film. I also referred to the script so some of the lines will be familiar! I hope you all enjoy!
Requested: by anon, omg your pelle fic wow; would you consider doing a sequel to it that either takes place during the events of the film or just before they arrive at Pelle's commune?
Requested: by anon, I would LOVEEE to see a sequel with pelle cause that was a pretty good fix and I think he deserves a bit more attention, I personally would like to see something happen during the events of the movie just because I think it would be interesting to see but that's just me
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director/creator
(not my gif)
Tumblr media
“You think that Pelle asked you to go just because I’m going?” Dani asked, messing with her fingers. You were standing beside your bed, packing your suitcase slowly. Dani had already packed; she didn’t like to be unprepared.
“I don’t know...maybe he thought you would enjoy yourself more.”
“You’re acting like I’m the one who’s been dating him for these couple of months,” she told you. She was sitting on the bed, looking up at you. You nodded a bit, putting another pile of clothes inside.
“I know. I guess I’m just nervous. Meeting his whole group, going to where he grew up. I mean. I really like him. What if I fuck it up?” She shook her head and reached over to grab your arm. You looked her in the eyes.
“He really likes you. I can’t remember the last time Christian looked at me the way that Pelle looks at you.” Her eyes were honest. It made you feel bad. You should have gotten her to break up with Christian when you got the chance. But it was too late now; you were all going to Sweden.
“I suppose you’re right. Per usual.” She smiled weakly.
“Finish packing.”
=======
Pelle almost wanted to tell you about the whole thing. When he was on the plane, it crossed his mind to let you in on the whole scheme of things. The May Queen, the festival, all of it.
But he bit his tongue. That was tradition.
You arrived in Sweden well and took the trek up to where the first stop was. It was beautiful. Truly, it was stunning.
Pelle held your hand the whole way until you arrived at the first spot. There were people around the grassy hills, scattered around. Pelle got out of the car.
“These are other people from America that my friends have brought!” he exclaimed. He gestured to the many people around. You looked around, gazing at the nice afternoon. He grabbed your arm and started to drag you along.
“Hey, don’t rip it off!” you joked and he eased up.
“Sorry, I’m quite excited!” You smiled sweetly at his happiness.
“Me too!” He approached some people and started to introduce them when a man behind you started to yell. You turned around quickly, surprised at the loud noise. Pelle turned around too and his smile only grew.
“If you’ll excuse me,” he said and then ran over to the approaching man. They embraced each other, hugging tightly.
“Everyone, this is my brother Ingemar. Ingemar this is Christian, Dani, Mark, Josh and my girlfriend, Y/N,” Pelle said. Ingemar followed where Pelle pointed, shaking hands with everyone. He paid special attention to you, his smile getting wider. You could tell that he and Pelle were related.
“Nice to meet you all. This is Simon and Connie from London,” he said, gesturing to the others behind him. “Simon and Connie this is Pelle and...all the names I just remembered two seconds ago,” Ingemar said laughing. Simon and Connie said hello. “Perfect timing by the way.”
Ingemar pulled out a bag of mushrooms from his pocket. Your eyes went wide.
“We just took these five minutes ago. Haven’t even started feeling the effects yet,” he explained.
“Oh shit!” Mark said, happily.
“Do you all want to take it now or should we get settled in?” Pelle asked.
“Fuck it, let’s take it now!” Mark said. You weren’t too sure about that. You trusted Pelle and everyone of course but in the new environment...it rubbed you the wrong way. Thankfully, Dani turned to speak to Christian about it.
“I think I want to get settled in first.” Christian was about to speak but you cut him off.
“Me too. You guys go and have fun, we’ll keep each other company,” you said. Pelle turned to you.
“Are you sure? I assure you it’s safe,” he said in a soft voice. You smiled kindly and put a gentle hand on his arm.
“I know! I just wanna get settled. Dani and I can handle ourselves, I promise.” He gave you a longer look, just to check that you were alright and then nodded. You turned back to Dani who grabbed your arm desperately.
“Thank you,” she whispered. You nodded.
“No thank you.”
=====
It wasn’t until the next day, Dani’s birthday, that you were able to get on further. You and Dani played some card games that you had brought with you while you waited for the effects to wear off for everyone else.
Christian came over to sleep beside Dani, still high. Pelle came over to you and braided your hair and then unbraided your hair, making very long sentences that didn’t make sense to whisper in your ear.
But when you arrived at the commune it was bright and sunny. Pelle rushed around, hugging people and introducing you and the group to everyone. You were able to get some blankets to sit on the grass, while everyone got their things together.
There was a group of girls dancing around in circles, wearing all white.
“You should go join,” Pelle suggested, gesturing to you and Dani. She shook her head a bit.
“Oh no, I’m too scared,” Dani said sheepishly. You nodded in agreement.
“Maybe another time.” Christian stood up.
“Hey can I join…” he started turning to Pelle.
“You’re American. Just jam yourself in,” he said. Christian nodded and walked away. “I think I’ll join him,” Simon said and was quickly followed by the rest of the group except you, Pelle and Dani. There was a moment of silence as you watched them go.
“Hey, just real quick,” Pelle said, digging for something in his pocket. He took out two pieces of paper and handed them to you and Dani. You both opened them to reveal gorgeously drawn pictures of yourselves wearing flower crowns. “For you Dani, think of it as a birthday present. For you Y/N, I imagine it’s a thank you present.”
“Oh Pelle,” Dani said. “It’s beautiful, thank you.”
“Thank you for what?” you asked, brushing your finger over it. He smiled and shrugged.
“Just a thank you.”
“Well thank you for it,” you said. “I got Dani a new sweater. Christian forgot.” Pelle raised his eyebrow and you shared a look.
“I forgot to tell him...it’s my fault,” Dani explained. You shook your head.
“I tend to disagree,” you muttered. You folded the picture back up and put it in your pocket. You put your head on Pelle’s shoulders “But I think Christian is rude.”
“Perhaps you are too judgemental,” Pelle mused. “But I tend to agree with you regardless.” You and Dani laughed a bit. “We should probably go and catch up with them in case they get lost.”
=====
You got settled in in one of the large buildings, plenty of beds against the walls. Pelle was on the bed to your right while Dani slept on the one to your left.
“All right, beauty rest! Tomorrow’s a big day!” Pelle announced. You had one of the books you had brought open on your lap but you looked up at him.
“What’s tomorrow?” you asked.
“First of the big cerinomines,” he said mysteriously.
“So you’re just going to be weird and cryptic?” Josh asked, laughing a bit. Pelle pauses and then took Josh's notebook, writing something inside. You made an attempt to look but it was not a word that you recognized.
“What’s that?” Christian questioned. Pelle shrugged and laid down in his bed. You faced him, on the bed beside him.
“What is it?” you whispered to him. He gave you a teasing smile.
“It’s hard to explain.”
“I will come over there and tickle it out of you,” you threatened. He chuckled and turned around so he wasn’t facing you. But he put his arm back behind him, reaching across the space between your two beds.
You grabbed it and rubbed his knuckles anxiously.
=====
There was a very odd breakfast the next day but you tried not to judge. You wanted to really appreciate Pelle’s culture and understand it. He had admired you for your understanding and he knew you would make an effort.
That’s why he chose to love you.
You were the obvious choice.
After that you walked out to a cliffside where most of the people were already out and lined up. You were curious to find complete silence. Everyone was silent as it happened and you were able to do nothing but watch as these two elderly people stood up on top of the cliff.
When the first person, a woman, jumped, you grabbed Pelle, putting your hand in front of your mouth. He grabbed you and wrapped his arms around you but it didn’t change the look of serenity on his face.
Simon was standing next to Ingemar yelling as the man approached the cliffside.
You had your face in Pelle’s arms. You were shaking.
“It is the way of life,” he whispered to you. Simon was still screaming. Another elder was talking to him and you could feel Pelle want to move toward them but he stayed beside you. “It is our way of recycling them and their gifts.”
You pulled away from him and shook your head a bit. You met Dani’s eyes. She wasn’t showing much emotion other than shock. You didn’t blame her.
“They’re dead,” you whispered. He nodded and put his hands on your upper arms.
“And it is an honor to have died that way.” You weren’t sure how to feel. You wanted to be understanding, to try and understand him and his ways. You would want that from him. But he should have prepared you more for that.
You walked over to Dani and walked beside her on the way back to the houses.
=====
“I’m leaving,” Dani said.
“I don’t blame you.” She was already packing a bag. You sat down on your bed, head in your hands. You took a deep breath and leaned back on the bed.
“Are you coming with me?” she asked. Her voice was shaking. She was clearly shaken up by all of this.
“No,” you muttered. “I’m not leaving Pelle yet.”
“Not even after that?” Her voice was quiet but it was urgent. You shook your head a bit.
“I just have to talk to him. He should have warned us more, of course but....it’s what he’s been raised to believe is normal. I don’t think I should think of it as a bad thing.”
“We just watched people die!” You stood up off the bed and put your hands on your upper arms, steading her.
“You can go home and I will not blame you. In the slightest. I just think I should stay longer,” you told her. She nodded solemnly. She took a deep breath in through her nostrils and nodded again.
=====
Before bed that night Pelle approached you. You were standing outside of the bed house, leaning against it to try and clear your thoughts. You almost completely ignored him but in the end you locked eyes with him as he approached.
“I’m sorry I didn’t give you adequate warning,” he said sympathetically. He grabbed your hand and held it. “I thought you would understand but I know now that it was wrong of me to assume.” You shook your head quickly.
“I understand it was just...a shock,” you muttered. He nodded and kissed your forehead softly.
“You are completely safe here. I want you to know that.” He looked you in the eyes when he said it. You believed him. You nodded back and gestured to the house.
“Let’s get some shut eye huh? And maybe warn me if we see another person...you know.” You made a slicing gesture across your neck. He laughed gently and nodded, placing a hand on the small of your back and leading you inside.
=====
Dani walked up to you, still distraught but less so. You were standing beside Pelle the next day as he kneeled in front of the ground picking some vegetables. You turned to her as she walked up, ready to handle whatever she was about to throw at you.
“Hey,” you said, taking the step away from Pelle and toward her.
“Hi. Did you see Simon left without Connie?” she asked. You raised an eyebrow and shook your head.
“Seriously? What a dick.” She clearly felt a little bit off put by it so you lowered your voice. “You think it’s weird?” Dani nodded a bit.
“I don’t know...it’s a little weird. They seemed so close.” You nodded. They did seem close.
“I don’t know...something to keep in mind I suppose.” She nodded quickly in agreement.
======
Dinner that night was simple pastries. You were pleased. The last food they had given you wasn’t your kind of taste. You sat between Pelle and Dani again.
“Have you seen Connie?” Dani asked you quietly. You shook your head.
“Excuse me but I know what happened,” a man sitting beside Mark said. “Her boyfriend called the landline from the train station. She begged us to drive her so we took her down to the station.” You nodded slowly, glancing at Pelle. He shrugged, seemingly in agreement.
“Why would Simon leave without her?” you asked quietly.
“I can see you doing that,” Dani muttered at Christian. You wanted to laugh so you turned to Pelle, sneaking a smile. He shrugged with a smile on his face also.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Christian asked.
“Nevermind.”
“You wouldn’t do that,” Pelle said quietly, so only you could hear. You ate a bite of the pastry proudly.
“You’re damn right.”
======
One of the important books was stolen that night. They announced it at breakfast.
“Where is your friend Josh?” one of the elders asked, after breakfast. You, Christian, Dani and Pelle all stood in front of the two elders, caught like a deer in headlights.
“I know. We have no idea,” Christian said.
“He and your other friend disappear in the same day. You understand how that looks.”
“Yes obviously, but we swear to you we are not a part of this,” Christian said. Dani shuffled a bit.
“We did see Mark go off with one of the girls last night,” she said.
“Which girl?”
“Inga,” Pelle said.
“But Mark wouldn’t have done this. Josh, though, he came to bed with us, and when we woke up, he was gone. And if he did take that book, I just pray you understand we do not identify as friends of his, or collaborators, or anything. I certainly don't vouch for him and we'd be so embarrassed to be connected to this in any way,” Christian explained.
“I feel responsible,” Pelle said. The elders nodded a bit.
“Well you and Odd can go looking. Perhaps you can redeem them,” one of the elders said. You didn’t want Pelle to leave. You didn’t like it when you were separated here. You believed him when he said you were safe but...it was still a little odd. “You two will be going with the women for the day’s activity,” he said to you and Dani. “And Siv asks to see you in her house,” she said to Christian.
You glanced at Pelle as he left. He grabbed your hand and squeezed it, almost saying ‘do well!’.
=====
You and Dani got dressed in white shirts with flower crowns. It made you a tad bit nervous but at least you had her.
She gestured to the drink they were handing out. Cups had been given to both of you to drink it.
“Can I ask what’s in this?” Dani asked one of the girls.
“It’s...tea for the dancing competition.” You raised an eyebrow but took a glass anyway. Dani looked back at you and you shrugged.
“I’ll beat you,” you muttered.
“Try me.”
You both took drinks of the tea.
Your head became fuzzy the second it hit your throat. You hadn’t taken those drugs before hand and you almost didn’t want to do it now but it was already done. Your feet were moving along with the girls, tossing bodies left and right it felt like.
You lost sight of Dani very quickly.
You were running and jumping and laughing until the elder lady yelled to stop then you kept dancing.
Dancing, dancing, dancing, dancing.
Dancing.
It seemed to go on forever. Your mind was hazed, your head hurt, your glances were so quick they gave you whiplash. You were smiling brightly when they announced they were down to the final eight. You finally saw Dani again, in the eight with you.
All of the fallen dancers had sat off on the side. You saw Christian, looking hilariously out of place. And Pelle.
Your heart swelled with love for Pelle. You could barely know anything else for a moment as you stared at him.
You couldn’t see it but in that moment, Dani believed she learned how much she hated Christian.
Then more dancing.
People were speaking and then it was just you and Dani, holding hands, dancing around in a circle, tired and out of breath. She stared at you and a smile went over her face as she held your hand.
And then she tripped. You stopped dancing and someone ran up to you, putting their hands on your shoulder.
“It’s over?” you asked.
“You are our May Queen!” they yelled. You were still hazzed. Each face looked the same. The people running up to you were strangers but you felt nothing but warmth for them. They placed a different flower crown atop your head.
Pelle ran up to you smiling brightly.
“Wow! May Queen, my love!” he said, giving you a strong kiss, both his hands resting on your cheeks. You were smiling brightly and then he was gone. You didn’t want him to go.
They carried you on a platform to a dinner table where you sat at the head, Dani beside you and Pelle on the other side as usual.
One of the elders stood at the end of the dinner.
“Now it is traditional for the May Queen to bless our crops and livestock. And after the luck you just inherited from that salt herring, we should all be doubly encouraged.” You looked around nervously.
“Can Pelle come with me?”
“No. The Queen must ride alone.”
You were starting to come to your own and realize how crazy this all was. How did you get here? How would you get out of here? You found yourself hoping you didn’t get out of here though. This felt like home. Some form of home. As you walked to the carriage you saw a glimpse of the pride on Pelle’s face.
It made you immensely happy.
======
They made you do a ritual in Swedish and you did your best with the limited knowledge of the language you knew. You went to Siv’s house, where she blessed you. You wondered where Dani was. You hoped she was alright. You should have let her become the May Queen. You should have let her win, just so you knew she was alright.
The women left you alone for only a moment where they ushered Pelle into the house with all of the beds where you were. He was still smiling that bright smile as he rushed up to you, hugging you tightly to him.
“You have no idea the amount of honor and pride you have brought to me. I am so very proud of you,” he said, cupping your cheeks. You tried not to get too flustered with your smile in return.
“So I get my picture up on that wall?” you questioned. He nodded pleasantly.
“Yes you will!” He kissed you passionately and you let him, allowing him to dip you a bit. “And you will be allowed to stay here, with the family.”
You didn’t even react. You didn’t feel the need to.
“With you?”
“Yes of course. You will be mine and I will be yours.”
You nodded happily.
“Where is Dani?” you asked.
“She is alright, she’s with the other women preparing. She is also going to stay.” You wanted to laugh of joy with that. “It is time for the final of the ceremonies,” he told you. “You will finally be able to give Christian what you think he deserves, if you wish it.”
He placed an even larger flower crown atop your head.
“And a dress as well, to fit a Queen.”
He gestured to the large flower dress in the room you hadn’t even noticed. He kissed you once more.
“It is time for the final ceremony. I’ll help you put on the dress. Are you ready?” he asked. He looked at you patiently. You nodded.
“Yes, I am.”

MLQC Boys Forgetting  Their S/o’s Birthday
Thank you @domena151 for another request! Sorry it took me so long, but I hope it is to your liking!!  Possibly really small spoilers!
----
Kiro
You were invited to one of Kiro’s shoots to gather research for an upcoming show. The two of you would talk in between takes as you normally did, when Kiro asked if you wanted to try out a new restaurant that just opened up.
You smiled brightly accepting his invitation and casually said “My coworkers took me there for my birthday! The food there is really good!”
Kiro stared at you blankly. Birthday?! You couldn’t have meant this year, right?! Maybe you were referring to a different restaurant!
When he finally puts two and two together he’ll start throwing out questions.
“How did I forget?!”
“Why didn’t you say anything?”
“Wait..no…WHY DIDN’T I SAY ANYTHING?!”
The boy will start spiraling!
He vowed to celebrate your birthday with you every year and to think he had actually forgotten will destroy him.
He never wanted you to spend such an important day alone. He knew that feeling of loneliness too well…
You cupped his face in your hands and smiled reassuringly. You didn’t have the heart to tell him you had been throwing hints out for weeks.
While not having him acknowledge your birthday did put a damper on things, you were understanding when it came to his demanding schedule.
“It’s okay! You were so busy with the press release for your new album, I figured you needed to focus on that more.”
He’ll be so offended. Like excuse you?! That press release could’ve gone to shit for all he cared. You were his top priority always. You are his girlfriend and he’ll be damned if he didn’t celebrate the day you came into this world.
Of course, he isn’t going to take this lightly and promises to make it up to you. And he definitely does! Takes you out to eat at your favorite restaurant and to prevent your evening from being ruined by his fans, he’ll take you to places that are a not as crowded.
Expect lots of hugs and kisses!!
Gavin
Gavin had been away on a mission for a few days, so when he returned he offered to take you out to eat to makeup for his absence. You wanted to look cute so decided to wear a new dress you had gotten.
The ever observant Gavin will notice immediately.
“Is that a new dress?”
“Yeah, Minor bought it for my birthday! Who knew he had such great taste!”
HOLD UP! WHUT?!
Gavin was not the forgetful type, so how could he have forgotten?! HOW COULD MINOR NOT HAVE SAID ANYTHING AND GOT YOU A GIFT TOO?! Definitely about to beat that boy’s ass later.
You did everything you could to try and reassure your precious bird baby, but he’s going to feel like the worst boyfriend ever no matter what you do.
Forgetting anything involving you is like forgetting how to breathe. (YOU KNOW THIS MAN WORSHIPS YOUR VERY SOUL)
Will do his best to make if up to you for about a month.
Takes you stargazing, to all your favorite places and restaurants. Movies, picnics the park, flying, and so much more!
You just want to spend time with him? You’ll get that along with him waiting on you hand and foot.
Might try to call out of work to make sure he tends to your needs, which you’ll scold him for.
He will make it up to you if its the last thing he does, so don’t try to stop him. (Actually, please stop him before he works himself to death.)
Gavin just wants to make you happy for the rest of your life, so the thought of you being alone or sad on such a special day because of him will kill him.
Let that man love you!
#PrayForMinor
Victor
You were in Victor’s office to talk about your upcoming report. You had forgotten your notes back at your office causing Victor to take a jab at your mistake.
“How can you be so forgetful?”
Forgetful?!
You huffed and puffed out your cheeks. You loved this man more than anything, but that didn’t mean you didn’t find his scolding insufferable.
“You’re one to talk, Mr. I Forget My Girlfriend’s Birthday!”
You weren’t going to bring up the fact that he had forgotten even though you did everything in your power to drop hints. You even offered to go out to dinner with him on your actual birthday without stating what day it was, which he declined saying he had to work late.
He looked at you for a moment and you looked right back at him with a glare. The silence in the room brought on a tension so thick, a knife wouldn’t be able to cut it.
Victor’s eyebrows furrowed and he slowly picked up the phone without taking his eyes off you and dialed a number you were quite familiar with.
“Goldman, what’s today’s date?” He’ll quickly look up at you with wide eyes signifying he got his answer.
Victor was known for keeping a level head in times of crisis, but that man was internally screaming.
How could he have forgotten your birthday?! He could have sworn he marked it down on his calendar just to be safe!
He’ll cancel all his meetings for the next week and take you out of the country.
Wherever you want to go, he’ll bend over backwards to make sure you get there.
You’ll be in a luxurious hotel, taken to romantic dinners in a restaurant that would be conveniently empty and so much more.
Want something? Victor’s black card is all yours!
If he sees you looking at something in a shop window, he’ll buy the shop if that’s what it takes to make up for his mistake.
You honestly don’t want much, just to spend time with him before he gets thrown into his work again, but you better let that man spoil you!
He’ll pamper the hell out of you and show as much affection as he can.
Lucien
You made it a habit to visit the orphanage with Lucien whenever you had the chance. It was always nice to talk with the children!
Today’s topic was: Birthday Parties
One of the children asked when your birthday ways, which you happily told them.
Hearing your response Lucien looked at you without saying a word and was pretty quiet for most of your visit after that.
Like Victor he’ll be internally screaming at himself for forgetting, but will handle this news calmly.
On your way home, you confronted the man on his sudden change in attitude.
Normally he’d strategically change the subject when he didn’t want you to worry, but this time he couldn’t help himself.
The master of hiding his emotions not being able to help himself?!
“Why didn’t you tell me I forgot your birthday”
You would sheepishly admit that you had forgotten too since you’ve been so swamped with work.
This simply cannot do!
There wasn’t a lot of things he treasured in this world, but you were definitely one of those things.
He always wants to make you feel special!
Will surprise you with gifts that leave you with more questions than answers. (I mean this is Lucien we are talking about! He likes to rattle your brain and is a major tease!)
Notes with riddles leading you to your next gift attached to things like a diamond necklace with matching earrings and a new dress.
You’ll soon realize he created a whole scavenger hunt that will lead to your final gift!
You will be lead to a candle lit dinner filled with all of your favorite foods.
He pulled out all the stops! Rose petals everywhere, adorable stuffed animals and the best wine already poured out.
You will be speechless!
This goes without saying, but that belated birthday sex about to be lit.
------
I hope this one was entertaining! Still accepting requests so hit me with your best shot!

“... fuck,” Eisuke said, scrunching up the note left by a certain someone on his bedside table before vanishing away into the early hours of the morning. ‘Let us forget what happened last night’, was what the note said. Glancing at the table clock to see it read 6:45 A.M., Eisuke got up to get started on the new day, trying his best to shake off the image of his secretary writhing under him in pleasure.
It had all started three days ago, when he had seen Elena, his then girlfriend, cheat on him. He had returned from his business trip two days early, hoping to surprise his girlfriend, spending time with her on the day he was born, 29 years ago. What he wasn’t prepared was the gift Elena gave him; a sight that broke him more than he thought he was capable of. There she was, the one he proudly called his, on his bed; naked, writhing in pleasure as some guy rammed himself into her like a hungry beast.
Elena, upon seeing Eisuke, had begged on her knees for forgiveness, promising to never cheat again. Eisuke had only pushed her away violently, having his trust broken... yet again. His body had turned cold and rigid, imitating his heart, and as he had turned around and walked away from Elena, he had lifted up a hand to wipe away the single tear that had managed to slip out.
Eisuke shook his head as he turned the shower on, wanting to get rid of the bitter taste the memory had left in his mouth. He flinched in pain as hot water came rushing down on his body, making his skin burn. He did nothing to stop the pain, for it made him feel alive. It made his dead soul realise that he was still capable of feeling emotions. He closed his eyes, remembering the face of his secretary, how her biting remarks turned into moans of pleasure as his fingers worked their magic on her last night.
After giving himself a day to calm down after facing Elena’s betrayal on his birthday, it was nearly eleven-thirty at night when Eisuke took out his mobile, wanting to ask Soryu to join him for a drink, venting out to him in the process. What he didn’t know was that he had accidentally sent that text to his secretary, (Y/N). It was when she had texted him back, agreeing to come up to the penthouse, had Eisuke realised who the text had gone to.
Fine. Give me 10 minutes. Eisuke kept looking at the text time and again, not believing that his generally closed-off secretary was actually willing to join him for a drink after work hours. Much to his shock and unexpected relief, she had come, that too in record time. Dressed in a hoodie and loose trousers, (Y/N) looked much more casual and approachable than she had ever looked in the 6 years he had known her.
Raising her eyebrows in amusement, she had said, “Are you planning to keep me out here the whole time or what?” Smirking, she had pushed him aside by his shoulder, making herself at home in his living room. Eisuke wasn’t the least bit bothered though, for they had gotten pretty close in the six years she had served him as his secretary. He could probably even say that after Soryu, she was the most trusted person on his list.
“You sure do seem comfortable, Ms. Secretary,” Eisuke flashed his usual smirk, feeling better already for some reason. Grabbing two glasses of champagne from the table, he passed one over to (Y/N) before sitting down on the couch, some distance away from her.
“What’s wrong, Ichinomiya? You’re not the one to just text anyone so late at night, asking them to have a drink with you ‘cause you want to talk,” She said, taking a sip from her glass. After bantering with her for a while about knowing him, he took a deep breath, finally deciding to let it out.
“So, Elena and I broke up,” He said, looking up to see (Y/N)’s eyes go wide with shock. Before she could ask why, he answered it, “She cheated on me. I found her fucking some stranger, in my goddamn bed.”
“THE FUCK?!” (Y/N) had screamed, not believing her ears. Eisuke seemed shocked too, for he had never heard (Y/N) curse in all these years. “But... she was the one who hinted at marrying you, right? For god’s sake, you even brought her a ring to surprise her!”
Eisuke and Elena had been dating for five long years, and just as (Y/N) had said, Eisuke had wanted to marry Elena. She had been his everything, his support, his rock, his companion, his best friend, everything. But this was before she cheated on him.
After telling (Y/N) everything that had happened two days ago, he took a deep breath, waiting for his secretary to say something. As he looked over to his (Y/N)’s face processing everything, realisation of him trusting her enough to tell her everything struck him down hard. Just a few hours ago he had thought about everyone betraying him, but here he was, looking across at a face showing genuine anger for something that had happened to him, not (Y/N).
Slowly as the night progressed, one glass had turned into one too many, and before either of them could do anything, they both were drunk. Looking across at (Y/N), Eisuke felt some sort of heat in his chest. She had stuck by his side like glue even when shit had gone down, never once backing away from trusting him.
Once I trust someone, it’s hard to break it, Mr. Ichinomiya, she had said. As Eisuke kept looking at her slightly flushed face, probably matching his own, he could only think of the deep sense of security and safety she had silently offered him in all the long years, ever since the day he had gained her trust. Had anything ever gone wrong, somewhere in his heart, Eisuke had felt assured that he’d have (Y/N) by his side every time. She had not broken that faith even that night.
Feeling unexplained emotions, Eisuke had suddenly felt the urge to kiss (Y/N) thin lips, the ones that always had a sarcastic retort at ready. He suddenly felt the urgent need to kiss her neck, mark her as his, and his only. He wanted to run his fingers down her sides, he wanted to watch (Y/N), who always looked so poised and composed, come undone.
His eyes widened as the word came to his mind for what he was feeling - desire. Strong, unguarded desire. Little did he know, (Y/N) wanted him just as badly as he wanted her. She had never dared to utter a word, but even (Y/N) felt attraction towards her boss, but not because of those riches he loved to show off. She liked him because he had showed his vulnerable moments. He had proven that he was a human too, and he had his fair share of anxiety and breakdowns too. But the day Eisuke had introduced her to his then girlfriend, Elena, was the day when she had decided to bury her emotions within her forever. Now, though, as she sat there on the couch of Eisuke’s penthouse suite’s living room, she could feel the lid to her raw affection for him slowly come undone.
While she was busy wondering all this, she had failed to notice Eisuke close in on her, tugging on her wrist to pull her towards him, and before she could get her wits about her and stop her emotions from running amok, Eisuke had tugged her in by the waist, planting his soft lips firmly on her thin ones. Her eyes widened in surprise, before they closed on their own, her lips moving to kiss him back.
As Eisuke’s hands traveled along her sides, her eyes opened wide once again, her hands pushing Eisuke away, “Eisuke, no--”
“Shh already,” Eisuke said, grabbing her wrists and returning his lips to the place they were at before; her lips. Eisuke’s passionate kisses turned gentle, as if coaxing (Y/N) to relax into him, his tongue prodding at her mouth, aching to meet her own.
Eisuke’s kiss did it’s magic on (Y/N), as she closed her eyes, relaxing into him, trusting him to handle everything. Just once. Even if he can be mine for one night, please, let him, she thought, parting her lips and allowing Eisuke’s tongue to entwine with her own, rubbing against each other, their lips in perfect harmony.
Things gradually turned from gentle to heated as they made their way to his bedroom, discarding their inhibitions in the process. Once they were standing near the bed, Eisuke slowly took off (Y/N)’s hoodie, taking his time to let the picture of (Y/N), nearly half naked, with the water from the aquarium reflecting off of her toned abdomen in the dark of the room. As soon as he had taken her hoodie off, she pulled him close, kissing his lips, trying to quench her desires.
The sight of (Y/N) in her black sports bra, matching trousers, and messy open hair turned Eisuke on more than any female had ever done. He went on his knees, looking up at her, in her eyes, smirking as he kissed just below her belly button, his fingers tugging at her trousers, slowly pulling them down, his lips following the path.
(Y/N) whimpered, her fingers finding Eisuke’s hair, pulling him up as soon as her trousers hit her ankles, her fingers busy undoing the buttons on Eisuke’s shirt, kissing his collarbones, chest and abs and more of his skin peeked out. Eisuke was now more turned on than ever, for this woman did something to him. Her kisses made him feel not only heated, but also in some sense, safe. He felt he could be himself with (Y/N), in a sense that he didn’t even feel with Elena.
Grabbing (Y/N)’s face, he kissed the daylights out of her in an attempt to get rid of the overly emotional thoughts. He smiled when he found her lips kissing him back with the same fervor. Her fingers went down to lightly stoke along the outline of Eisuke’s crotch, making him groan from the sudden touch. She smirked, her touch becoming a little more firm as Eisuke’s hands traveled down to her abdomen, his fingers stoking her sides, making her whimper.
Her fingers took their time in undoing his pants, increasing his frustration at the lack of her touch. As soon as she had gotten his pants out of the way, he pushed her on the bed, his lips finding themselves at her ankles, slowly kissing their way up her smooth skin. His underwear felt tighter as he looked down at the beauty under him, in her black bra and matching panties, her hands gripping the sheets tighter with each touch of Eisuke’s lips. He got up, and freed the sheets from her grasp, placing her wrists on his shoulders. Eisuke kissed under her earlobe, nearly coming undone just from the mewl (Y/N) let out.
Going back to her knees, Eisuke continued to kiss her legs as his fingers played with her sides; one of her soft spots. Kissing his way up to her inner thighs, he took his time, smelling her oh-so-inviting core. Looking down, he saw a small dark patch already forming on her panties. Smirking, he gave the spot a light peck, internally shivering at (Y/N)’s responsive groan.
His lips went back to hers and his fingers worked to take off her bra, leaving her top half bare for him to etch into his memory. Bending down to kiss her right nipple, he whispered, loud enough for her to hear, “Spread your legs.”
As soon as she had followed his command, his right hand went down to stroke the wet area over her panties, making a shiver run up her spine. His fingers continued to massage her folds while his mouth was busy kissing her neck, his other hand focusing on pleasuring her left breast. (Y/N) whimpered from the amount of pleasure she was receiving, when she felt Eisuke’s fingers slip inside her panties.
A moan left her lips and Eisuke’s middle finger entered her folds, his thumb finding her clit. He rubbed circles around her clit, making her arch her back in absolute ecstasy. before Eisuke could go on though, (Y/N) flipped them over, making him lie under her, her hands slowly moving down to his. Eisuke closed his eyes, enjoying the sensation of (Y/N)’s fingers massaging his balls, the friction caused by the fabric of his underwear adding to the pleasure. Her hands slipped inside his boxers, gripping his already hard member, as she slowly began to stroke him. She increased her pace as she felt his release coming, but then slowed down.
Eisuke, frustrated, flipped the over once again, removing his boxers and her panties completely in the process. The both of them were way too turned on and frustrated for any more games now, and he entered her with one stroke, making her moan out loud. He groaned, enjoying the tightness and warmth (Y/N)’s core offered him, his fingers toying with her clit.
(Y/N) screamed, her body not used to so much stimulation, and her fingers gripped Eisuke’s hair, holding onto him. Her hips rose up to match his rhythm, the both of them losing their hold on reason when faced with desire.
Eisuke rocked into her, getting even more turned on when her fingers started plying with his nipples, twisting and rubbing them, and he rammed himself into her harder with each passing second. The both of them melted into each other as their orgasms rocked through their bodies, making them see white.
Eisuke fell on top of (Y/N), enjoying the feeling of her heated body against his own. Taking a moment to come down from his high, he laid down beside (Y/N), wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her to him, finally drifting off to sleep after two long, sleepless nights.
This morning, (Y/N) woke up to find herself in a certain someone’s embrace, the events of the previous night flooding her mind as her eyes widened in horror: she had slept with THE Eisuke Ichinomiya. Quickly getting out and dressing up, she left a not by his bedside asking him to forget that night ever happened, wanting to die in a hole of embarrassment. As soon as she had written the note, she rushed back to her place to get ready for another official day.
Dressed in a grey shirt, black trousers and black suit jacket, (Y/N) was busy typing away at her laptop when she heard the door to the office open. Getting up to greet her boss, she tried her best to not let the memories of the previous night affect her.
As she turned to walk out of his cabin, Eisuke grasped her wrist and pulled her back, much to her surprise. Turning around, she was about to push him away when he pulled her close by the waist, whispering something in her ear that made her eyes widen with shock as she felt a chill run down her spine.
“You are now my girlfriend.”

➳ Pairing: Gang Member!Mark Lee x Superhero!Reader (female OC)
➳ Genre(s): Superhero!AU, Superpowers!AU, Gang!AU, MCU, Humor, Fluff, Action, & Slight-Angst
➳ Words: 5.7K
➳ Summary: Having yet another date night ruined, you, your brother, and the gang, NCT 127, are called once again to protect the city of Seoul. After discovering that you and brother possess two stones that can enhance the ability of the six infinity stones, Thanos sends Ebony Maw to retrieve them. The two of you continue to battle until Haechan causes an explosion that causes the deformed octopus to retreat. Now, in the rainy city of London, both you and Mark are on a mission to find him. What can possibly go wrong?
Cars zoom by. Screaming, panicking bystanders run as if their lives depend on it. A new threat has come out to play with the beautiful city of Seoul as its backyard.
A menacing laughter fills the atmosphere while a fiery blaze colors the blank night sky. With his army of minions by his side, Ebony Maw, destroys everything and kills everyone in sight. He is given the greatest of privileges by Thanos. He is tasked with retrieving two of the most powerful stones, outside of the six infinity stones. Legends say that the universe has created these stones to enhance the abilities of the other six. Like a supporting system one can say.
Many people, both outside and inside the Milky Way galaxy, have tried to find these stones and claim it for their own but alas, many have failed.
That is…
Until a certain enhanced pair of siblings received them as a last gift from their mother.
Now, they have sworn to protect their beloved country from any invaders that have a sudden lapse in judgement and want to attack anything and anyone under their jurisdiction. Of course, they are times where the dynamic duo has done enough damage to the buildings to the point that their structural integrity has come into question. However, they always brought their president results, and that is more than enough for the government.
At the end of the day, if their city is safe, then it is quite alright with them.
Currently, on a black and white street bike, you are zooming by hundreds of cars, who are going in the opposite direction, with the adrenaline pumping throughout your veins. You rev up your bike, adding more speed, and continue to maneuver through the debris that the Squidward wannabe is hauling at you.
Damn. To think all you’ve asked for was some quality time with your boyfriend, and you get this. What a great date night!
“Yuta, his buddies are heading towards Hongdae,” You begin, speaking through the shared audio device, “Do you and WinWin want to take care of that?” You ask, activating one of your many abilities. Not even a moment later, you hear Yuta say that he and WinWin will head over there ASAP. You utter a quick thank you as you begin the process of another ability that you possess.
Speaking of which…
The abilities that you possess is based off moon and its lunar cycle. Depending on where it is at, you can either go full defense, offense, or a combination of both. Lucky for you, the lunar cycle is heading towards a full moon, so that means you get to go all out and have a bit of fun. It’s always fun time when you possess the ability of lunar manipulation. You have access to everything and anything associated with the beloved moon.
Holding out your right hand; your palm visible to everyone, you gather enough energy for form this ball of energy. Aligning up your hand, you release a thick beam of lunar energy at the minions, who think it's wise to block your path.
“Okay…question!” You hear Doyoung through the intercoms, “Why did you have me design a weapon specific for your abilities, and you don’t use it!” He complains, causing you, your brother and the rest of NCT 127 to laugh.
“I’m sorry Doyoung but given the fact that I’m on a street bike and being chased by Squidward on crack, I think using your specialized weapon is the last thing on my mind right now.” You explain, continuing to attack anything that has gotten in your way.
While with Doyoung, he simply sighs, flopping back in his chair. The joys of being the technology expert for his little gang. He then sits up straight and rolls his chair to a different monitor. He quickly types in some codes and is instantly granted access to your brother's camera feed.
“How's it going on your end?” He inquires noticing him, Mark, Johnny, and Taeyong struggling a bit.
“Do I have to answer?!” He hears your brother shout as he sets a few enemies ablaze. Don’t you love having abilities based off the sun?
As if he’s physically there, Doyoung holds up his hands in defense, not wanting to deal with your brother’s infamous temper.
“Hey now. I am just checking in, especially with your sister sending away Yuta and WinWin to protect Hongdae.” Doyoung states, which instantly alarms Mark.
Mark stops fighting briefly; his pulse pauses as he worries for the woman he loves.
Johnny and Taeyong stop in their actions as well. Not because they worry for Mark’s mindset but because they know how ruthless their chameleon can be when anyone threatens his woman.
This can’t be good…
Taeyong throws his fist back, landing a clean punch on one of the alien invaders. Then, he whips out his favorite gun and fires a few rounds into its skull, hoping that it kills it. It does.
He then rushes over to the second youngest, placing a friendly hand on the boy’s shoulder.
“Mark…” Taeyong begins, “Y/N is fine. Remember, she has enhanced abilities that —” However before he can finish his sentence, Mark runs towards his street bike, hops on it, and starts it up. Not bothered to wear his helmet, he revs it up and drives to wherever his girlfriend is at.
Your safety is his utmost priority. He knows that his members can take care of themselves. Plus, they have your brother, so they have an extra layer of protection.
Johnny watches his retreating body, letting out a long sigh.
“You know…” He pauses, taking a moment to fire his weapon one of the few alien invaders that linger around the area, “I kind of envy him and Y/N.” He confesses.
Y/B/N perks up his brow, finding his statement both odd and amusing.
           “Why’s that?” He asks.
“Because, Mark has time to love his woman amidst this chaos while I barely have time to tinker with our weapons and make them even better.” Johnny answers, reloading his favorite semi-automatic just in case there’s another swarm.
Both Taeyong and Y/B/N laugh at his statement before agreeing with them. In their line of work, it is quite difficult to maintain a relationship. There are days where they are lonely for companionship. On the other hand, with a few of them loving the idea of playing the field, a simple one-night stand will satisfy their manly urges…
Currently fighting as if your life depends on it, you hide behind a cracked pillar, catching your breath and replenishing your energy. This Ebony Maw fella really wants both yours and your brother’s stone.
“Come out. Come out. You should think of this as an honor. Only a select few can say that they have died at the hands of the children of Thanos.” You hear that creeper’s voice state, further irking you.
An almost animalistic growl emerges from your lips. This asshole has done an excellent job at annoying you to no end, and the weekend isn’t even over yet!
Channeling all of your energy into the palms of your hand, moisture from the air begins to attract to them.
Slowly, it begins to take the shape of your favorite weapon—a Korean style katana. You always do love shedding the blood of your enemies with it.
With one deep breath, you slowly exhale, allowing the nerves to exit your precious body. For this fight, you can’t afford to lose focus. If you do, then everyone you have come to love and cherish will die. It will be a cold day in Hell if someone you love dies on your watch.
Not again. Not ever again.
You open your eyes, taking a step behind the pillar. You swing your katana, hearing this whishing sound from the blade as it cuts through the air.
A smug smirk graces his face as Ebony Maw holds up two fingers, summoning all of the debris from the ground and shaping them into sharp points. Sharp enough to penetrate your body over and over until you bleed to your death. A painfully slow death that you’ll never wish to experience.
You draw back your sword before letting out this battle cry filled with your pent-up rage as you rush him.
Ebony Maw flings the sharpened debris at you, desperately wanting to please his master.
You swing your sword in every direction, deflecting every single one of them, as you close the gap between you and the pain in the ass that has overstayed his welcome.
Using one of the destroyed cars as leverage, you jump on the hood, adding more momentum, before flinging yourself at him. However, that’s a foolish decision on your part.
With just a flick of his wrist, he forces your body to the side. He has hoped to capture you and your brother alive, but one out of two isn’t so bad. Like how he’s a rock in your boots, you’re annoying thorn on his side and quite frankly, he wants you dead more than alive.
“Shit!” You curse, knowing that your defensive abilities are nonexistent at the moment.
You slam your eyes shut, bracing for impact; however, instead of landing on the cold hard ground, you feel a pair of arms around your body, securing themselves on your waist.
“Looks like I’m saving you this time, huh baby girl?” You hear a familiar arrogant voice say.
You pry one eye open before opening the other. A breath of relief escapes your lips as a warm smile begins to take shape. Though, you soon pause as you realize that your amazing boyfriend has put himself in harm’s way—again.
Realizing that he has picked the wrong time to play hero, you scramble off of him and punch him square in the shoulder.
“What are you doing here, Mark?!” You question loudly as you protect both you and him from Ebony Maw’s attack.
Mark yelps, rubbing his now injured shoulder, “Okay…! Ow!” He gives you a look of disbelief, “I’m here rescuing my woman from the drugged-up octopus!” He replies in an obvious tone of voice.
You can’t help but gawk at his words. While you do appreciate that he has come to your rescue, you want to choke him for failing in realizing that Ebony Maw can easily kill him without lifting more than two fingers.
“I appreciate the thought, babe. I do, but as you can see, his threat level—” You suddenly stop mid-sentence as you throw your body over Mark, shielding him from one of the cars that Ebony Maw has graciously given you two.
Without a second a thought, you press your earpiece, activating the link between you and the rest of the team.
“Guys…a little help here!” You request loudly as both you and Mark scramble to your feet and rush to cover.
“Haechan is on his way!” The two of you hear Doyoung announce and just as he says that you hear Haechan’s cheery voice tell you and Mark to get away from the zone of impact.
A look of confusion washes over your faces but instead of verbally questioning, the two of you do as your told.
“I always wanted to test out my new invention, cherry bomb!” Haechan shouts happily as he grabs a few interestingly designed explosives from his pockets and fling them around the perimeter.
“Cherry bomb?” Mark asks, observing an almost maniacal smile on his closest friend’s face.
Instead of answering, Haechan simply holds out the trigger presses the red button, activating the explosives one by one. As each bomb goes off, the explosives produce different colors of smoke; a smoke that is toxic to anyone who inhales it. Originally, Haechan has hoped to use his beautiful creation on enemy gangs throughout South Korea but considering their predicament, he might as well test it out now.
Your eyes widen at the rather colorful sight that the explosives are producing. While with Mark, he slowly nods, finally understanding why Haechan calls it, “Cherry Bomb”
“Isn’t this a tad overboard?” You asks, turning your attention towards the explosive expert.
Haechan gasps, feeling a bit insulted by your words.
“Nonsense! While, I don’t think it’s enough to kill him, I do think it’s enough to distract him enough for us to get away.” He answers as the toxic clouds begin to disperse.
Just as you are about to answer, you notice that Ebony Maw’s silhouette is not seen.
Odd…
Feeling a bit anxious, you quickly tell Mark and Haechan to ready up just in case he comes for a surprise attack.
Your eyes scan the area; your breath a bit shaky. There’s no way that something simple as toxic cloud can make him retreat so easily.
The three of you continue to wait, feeling the cool breeze brush by your bodies. It’s as if the wind is warning you of what’s to come next. Yet, that moment never came.
“Doyoung, scan for his whereabouts.” You quickly instruct as you hear the collected roar from a few engines. You instantly snap towards the direction of the noise; your guard at an all time high and ready to fight once more.
Thankfully, your mind registers that it’s only Taeyong, Johnny, and your brother. When you quickly ask about Yuta, WinWin, Jungwoo, and Taeil’s location, Johnny informs you that they have gone back to headquarters. You quickly thank the stars that everyone is alive with only a few injuries.
“No sign of the Squidward on crack or any of his creepy Resident Evil like minions.” You hear Doyoung announce, lifting a huge weight off your shoulders. Though, deep down, you know he’s going to come back for you and your brother soon.
Honestly, you want to take the fight to him instead of allowing him to wreak havoc on your beloved country. Your home has suffered enough because of him.
Now, it’s time to put a stop to him once and for all.
“Let’s head back to base. We have some things to sort out. I want him dead once and for all…”
A few days later, you and Mark are currently on a plane heading towards England. Why? Well, it’s because of Doyoung’s brilliant plan. He believes that Ebony Maw has retreated to a different country in order to find the other stones. When you’ve asked him why, Doyoung told you that it’s more than likely because his master ordered him too.
Not knowing who his master is can be unsettling for anyone, but for you and your brother, it’s quite the opposite. If anything, this is like an arousing game of who’s the true puppet master, and the two of you are ready to play.
Staring out the window, you absentmindedly run your fingers through Mark’s hair as you take in the different color hues that paint the sky. You admire the tranquility that radiates from the empty sky as the plane continues to penetrate the puffs of clouds. Fluffy clouds that remind you of pillows on your childhood bed.
Oh, how you miss the simple life. Before you and your brother have discovered the “blessing” that is your gifts. Blessing? More like curse. It is because of them that your parents are no longer on this Earth. It is because of them that your aunt and uncle are being protected by the agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D.
Honestly, you just want it all to end.
Yet…
At the same time, you know that it can’t end.
So as long as you and your brother live and breathe, the two of you will continue to protect the people since you know that they can’t protect themselves.
You both have taken an oath to protect the country of South Korea, and that’s what you will do…
Slowly, a soft sigh escapes your lips as you pry your eyes away from the window and pull down the shutter. You trail your eyes down and notice Mark’s peaceful sleeping face. A warm smile appears on your face as you can’t help but look at him with complete love and adoration.
You can’t help but shake your head as you recall the first day you’ve met this young man. Under a fake alias, you and Y/B/N have enrolled at the School of Performing Arts even though you’re currently “preparing” to make your big debut. There, you’ve had your first run in with Mark and his little gang of delinquents. Little did you know that day, him and the rest of NCT 127 would be the backing force that your team has been missing.
“Okay, why are staring at me like that?” You hear Mark say in a sleepy tone of voice.
You immediately snap out of your thoughts and kiss him sweetly on the nose.
“Nothing. I was just admiring how different you become when you’re not talking.” You tease with a playful smile on your lips.
Mark rolls his eyes as he sits up and stretches out his neck muscles. Instead of retaliating, Mark asks how much longer they have on the plane. He’s starting to get a bit anxious as he shakes his leg. He never does like being in one place for more than thirty minutes.
One of the downsides to being the group’s chameleon man. He always has to blend in with the crowd and make sure that no one can retrace his steps.
To calm his nerves, you lean over your seat and place a loving yet soft kiss on his lips. As you are about to pull away, you feel his hand rest against the back of your neck, keeping you in place. You can’t help but laugh into the kiss because of his sudden courageous action. Where’s your shy boyfriend?
The two of you finally pull away and as you do, you hear the one announcement that anyone on a ten hour plus flights longs to hear.
“This is your captain speaking. Please buckle up your seat belts as we are about to descend onto the runway.” Announces the flight captain.
Mark shouts a quick, “Finally!”, as he swiftly buckles his seat belt, grinning from ear-to-ear.
You shake your head, chuckling at your other half’s sudden childish behavior.
You really can’t take him anywhere…
After what seemed like forever doing the whole airport check in procedure, both you and Mark now stand out in the pouring rain, not caring that you guys are becoming soaked.
Before executing your plan, you quickly establish a connection between you and Doyoung. You see his face pop up on the projector and proceed to ask him about any intel he has gathered while you were up in the air.
“Nothing new since you left, boss.” He says as he types away on his mini laptop.
Your lips purse as you nod. You then tell him to keep an eye on your brother and provide him with whatever support he needs.
Doyoung laughs at how overprotective you are when it comes to your sibling, but he understands why. You two have been inseparable since you were children, so it’s
kind of weird to be on this mission, and you two aren’t together.
He’s in Spain while you’re in London. Two different parts of the world yet so close in a way.
Oh well…
“Don’t worry, Y/N. I’ll make sure that Y/B/N is safe from harm, though, you and I both know that he can take care of himself. Especially, since he has Jungwoo, Yuta, and Taeil with him. Doyoung out!” He says before terminating the connection.
While Doyoung’s words have this feeling of reassurance, you don’t feel it. You’ll always worry for your younger brother.
Noticing the worried expression painted on your face, Mark wraps a loving arm around your shoulders as he places a sweet kiss on your drenched hair. He then sweetly whispers words of comfort, hoping that he can wash away your concerns away.
“Now, let’s go find this asshole. I’m already kind of sick of this rain.” Mark says, causing you to giggle.
You nod and lead the two of you to the warehouse that Doyoung has graciously found for you guys.
What?
You can’t do your fighting in simple street clothes…
Now standing in front of what it seems to be an abandoned building, you look at your watch, courtesy of Jungwoo, and press a combination of buttons; thus, activating a tiny drone. You then command the small device to scan the building for any signs of foreign life. If it comes up positive, then that means some sort of alien invader is in there. Hopefully, it means that Ebony Maw is being coward and is hiding inside.
What a bitch…
Seconds later, your watch beeps, telling you that there’s no sign of foreign life inhabiting the building.
Okay. Odd.
With a short sigh, you command the drone to return to your headquarters and then tell Mark that it looks like you have to do it the old fashion way.
You unhook a few explosives that looks like an ordinary clock and hand them to Mark. Before fully handing them over, you quickly ask if he knows how to handle Haechan’s rather special inventions.
Mark’s body tenses at your question. Shit. Should he tell the truth or tell a white lie? Well, he did pay attention to Haechan when he explained what they did before they all went their separate ways—sort of.
“Of course. I know how to use these.” He lies flawlessly, flashing a bright smile.
You raise your brow briefly. Your gut tells you that Mark’s lying, however, you choose to believe him since it’s just the two of you, and you definitely do not know how to use Haechan’s explosives.
Without a moment to spare, you hand over the time bombs before breaking down the door. You signal Mark to follow closely behind and have his firearm ready to use.
As soon as you step inside, you are instantly blinded by this luminescence light. It also doesn’t help that the entire walls are painted white, so the lights are reflecting off it.
And you thought that your brother’s solar flare attack were blinding. Nope. This takes the cake.
The two of you continue down the empty, quiet corridor. Both of you on high alert as you inspected every single room throughout the first floor.
After seeing yet another empty room, you and Mark stand up straight; this feeling of confusion washes over you.
What is going on here?
“I’m not sensing any forms of life at all in this building, babe…” says Mark as he’s reading some sort of date from his phone.
You make a noise as your lips thin. You refuse to believe that there’s no one in this building.
Slowly, you inhale and exhale deeply. That tiny action always calms down your nerves before they go into a frenzy.
“Okay. I think we should split up,” You begin, summoning a katana in your right hand, “I’m going to check the rest of the floors while you go check out the basement. If you find any suspicious activity, I want you to plant those explosives in those said areas. Got it?” You finish relaying your plan.
Mark stares at you, secretly hating the idea of the two of you splitting up; however, he knows that you’ll be safe, and your plan seems flawless.
In a reluctant tone, he says okay before running off towards the basement area.
You remain in your place, silently summoning this gravitational barrier around Mark.
You pray to the Gods that your shield will protect him from harm’s way before taking off towards the second and third floor. You kick open the door leading to the stairwell. A loud bang echoes throughout the building. You practically fly up the stairs and in a blink of an eye, you are already on the second floor.
You remain in place as you take a moment to listen for any suspicious sounds. Your eyes scan every detail of the hallway. Taking note of, again, how clean it looks. A little too clean for your liking.
Once you are greeted with silence, you make the executive decision to not check the rooms. Maybe you’ll have some sort of luck on the third floor.
You dash down the hallway; only the sound of your boots meeting the tile floor is heard. You feel the air slowly leave your lungs as you exert every ounce of stamina you have left.
With the adrenaline fueling your desire—your need—to put an end to this, you sprint up the next flight of stairs leading to the third floor…
You push open the door and instead of being greeted with the usual bright, clean scenery, you take note of the flickering lights. The cracks on the wall as if someone or something landed a nice clean hit on it. Your eyes trail up and you see that a few bulbs on the “EXIT” sign is blown out.
Okay…
Why the sudden change in appearance?
Then, it hits you. Maybe this is just a distraction, and both you and Mark have fallen right for it.
Shit…
You frantically survey the area, focusing all your energy in your hearing. You wait a few moments as you hear nothing but dripping sounds echo throughout the corridor.
A cold gush of air brushes past you causing you to lose focus for a split moment.
Then, sounds of lively chatters surface. You direct your attention towards the area where it originates before running towards it.
Now standing in front of a door, you lean close enough to confirm your suspicion.
Yup…
There it is…
Something or someone is on the other side, and they are definitely not alone.
You slowly exhale before gathering enough energy to activate both an offense and defensive ability. You feel this surge of power flow through your veins as it spreads to your hands. This white, holy aura surrounds your body as you become prepared to handle anything and everything that comes your way.
Just as you are about to use your gravity manipulation ability to force the door open, the floor suddenly shakes. You feel this gigantic tremor beneath your feet as if an earthquake just happened.
Then, this loud explosion sounds throughout the building.
Your eyes immediately widen as you conclude that without a doubt, Mark has activated Haechan’s “0 MILE” explosive.
As you are about to rush to Mark’s aid, you hear the door open, causing you to get into a fighting stance.
You ball up one of your hands into a fist while the other is gathering any debris in the building.
“What are you doing breaking and entering in a federal government building?” asks an older gentleman with in a posh accent.
Wait…did he just say government building?
You and Mark are currently in a government building?!
Not wanting to humiliate your country, especially the president, you come out of your fighting stance.
A nervous chuckle escapes your lips before you sprint off to find Mark and leave this burning building.
“I already phoned the police!” You hear the man shout as you exit to the stairwell and continue your journey.
Oh…
You are going to kill Doyoung when you get home…
Meanwhile, with Mark, he’s currently planting yet another explosive. Totally unaware that he’s destroying the building structure of a government owned facility.
Whistling a little tune, he winds the clock until it says, “1:27”, and places it on another pillar. He then creates enough distance between him and the bomb and just as he’s about to set it off, he hears you shouting, screaming at him to stop.
Before Mark can ask you why, he feels your hand around his wrist, and he’s now forced away from the area.
With Mark now in tow, the two of you flee the scene of the crime, running with no specific distance in mind, as the sounds of sirens grow near.
You two continue to run away from the soon-to-be crumbling building. Your eyes light up when you see an abandoned alleyway. You roughly pull Mark into it before basically exploding on him for ruining the mission.
The mission where little to no destruction will occur while in a foreign country.
“This is all your  fault! If you haven’t gotten a little trigger happy, then we wouldn’t be in this position!” You take a deep breath, “I told you to stick to the plan! Remember?! Little to no destruction to this country!” You practically scream at him, ignoring the fact that the loudness of your voice will alert the police to your location.
You honestly don’t care. You are just incredibly pissed off. Not only at him, but Doyoung as well for feeding you false intel.
Mark gasps, feeling a tad offended by your statement.
“Hey now. If we’re assigning blame, then this is your fault for leaving me alone with explosives in the first place! Especially, after you told me to plant explosives in areas that I thought were strange!” He then starts talking with his hands, “News flash! That entire building screams enemy activity, so it is not my fault!” He argues back, matching the anger in your tone.
An almost animalistic growl leaves your lips. You narrow your eyes; a harsh glare ever so visible. You honestly can’t believe what you are hearing right now.
Is he seriously putting the blame on you?
Seriously, the urge to choke your “incredible” boyfriend is strong within you.
You throw up your hands as an exasperated sigh exits your mouth.
“Ugh! Why did you volunteer to come with me, knowing that you don’t know how and what Haechan’s fun little gadgets do?” You question, pinching the bridge of your nose as you hope to understand your boyfriend’s random surge of stupidity.
Mark scoffs before puffing out his cheeks, unsure if he wants to confess the truth. The truth of him missing you…
He wants to tell you his reasoning but at the same time, he doesn’t. The last thing he wants is to hear his members teasing him for being open about his feelings towards you.
Though, what he doesn’t realize is that the rest of NCT 127 already know. They aren’t stupid. They observe everything when it comes to their chameleon man.
As time passes, a blanket of awkward tensions covers the two of you as you hear the sirens become closer.
Great. Now, you’re more than likely going to get arrested, and you haven’t resolved your little couple’s spat.
“Mark, please just talk to me. Why did you lie?” You try again, hoping the animosity in your voice is gone. Raising your voice at him isn’t going to make him talk to you. You have learned that after your first argument, which lasted more than a week.
Mark sighs, hearing the softness in your tone, as he remembers that an open communication is key to any relationship.
“Okay…I lied about knowing how to work Haechan’s explosives. I just wanted to spend some quality time with you,” He meets your gaze, “It’s been three months since we had an actual date night. Just the two of us. No threats coming at us. No stakeouts. Nothing,” He takes a step towards you, closing the gap between your chests, “Just you and me in our normal civilian clothes and enjoying the night life that Seoul has to offer,” He takes your hands into his, “Remember, that was on your list of things to experience as a normal teenager?” He says, finishing his explanation.
You simply nod, smiling sweetly and softly at him. There’s no need for words.
Mark kisses your knuckles, “I honestly had planned for us to get through this mission with no bumps whatsoever…” He adds, letting out an airy chuckle.
His statement causes you let out an airy chuckle as well.
“Well, the plan was going great until we got arrested,” You say in a light playful tone as you notice a few officers enter the alleyway, “Ha. Think of our pending jail time as our date night.” You add as you break the loving hold and hold up your hands in surrender.
Mark chuckles at your comment, mimicking your action, “True, though, it would be rather strange that they have arrested a member of the Avengers. Just throwing that out there.”
“Don’t remind me. Cap’ and Uncle Stark will never let me live this down,” You direct your gaze on Mark, “You do know that they like to treat me as if I’m their own daughter, right?” You tell him as the officers slowly decrease the distance between you guys.
Mark grimaces, “Don’t I know it. I believe Ironman threatened me a few times…” He states, shuddering at the not-so-fond memory of his first meeting with the legend.
You laugh at his remark as you hold out your wrists for the police officers to handcuff you.
“Wait…aren’t you Y/S/N?” inquires one of the officers, finding it odd that she’s indeed arresting a member of the Avengers.
You only nod, making sure to weaken the gravitational field around Mark. You don’t feel like adding, “assault on an officer” to your pending list of arrests.
“I’m sorry miss, but not even superheroes are exempted from the law.” The other officer says apologetically as he and the female officer escorts the two of you to their police car.
You tell them that you understand. The law is the law.
“I’m going to call Doyoung and see if he can get in touch with the president. Maybe he can get us out of this predicament.” Mark whispers to you as you slide into the backseat.
You mumble, “Okay”, before asking,
“I have a question for you guys,” You begin, waiting to get the okay from the officers.
“What is it?” the female officer inquires, perking her brow up.
“Why do you guys call your bars, “pubs”, here?” You question, smiling.
Mark, on the other hand, shakes his head. He would’ve face palmed, but his hands are currently restrained.
“Why am I with you again?” He asks, though, it’s a rhetorical question.
“Because you approached me first and kept asking me out until I said yes.” You answer him, failing to realize that it’s a rhetorical question.
“And I do not regret that decision whatsoever!”
“But I do…”            “That hurts baby girl. That really hurts.”
A/N: Hi everyone! You are probably surprised to see another one shot! Me too! I think looking at my work (school work + studying) schedule, I have only have time to write on the weekends, unless I have prior engagements to attend. Also, I added a rough estimate to the stories that I have planned out, so that helps me keep accountable/on track. Anyway, this is a response to KPOPWONDERLAND’s 13 days of Horror! I based this story off prompt no.32 (“If we’re assigning blame then this is your fault for leaving me alone with explosives in the first place.”) & no.33  (“The plan was going great until we got arrested.”). As I am the queen of comedy and have a been wanting a Superhero!AU (especially for the Marvel universe), what a better way to write it than during the month of Halloween! :)
Don’t forget to leave a like/reblog/comment/a message in my inbox! I love hearing your thoughts! :)

Worst Kept Secrets (three times Sid and Geno are very careful and one time they wonder what for)
Sid and Geno are very good at hiding. No really. They are. Nobody will ever suspect a thing.
This is a fluffy birthday gift for @sheepassisted because she deserves fluffy things on her birthday. People who share a birthday with Geno always deserve fluffy things. I don't make the rules. Happy birthday! ♥♥
AO3
I.
“I can come up with an excuse,” Sid says for what feels like the tenth time. “He wouldn't mind. I'm sure he would just -”
“Can't always make excuse,” Geno reminds him, softly kissing him on the lips, their limbs still tangled together under the sheets. It's warm and comfortable here and Sid never wants to get out of bed. They slept late. There won't even be enough time for morning sex if he doesn't call Tanger right this second and tell him he can't go play mini golf with him and Alex today. But then, it's probably already too late. It's 8:45 and Tanger said he'd pick him up at 9. He doesn't even have time for breakfast anymore.
“I guess you're right.” Sid sighs. “But I want to stay here with you!”
Geno smiles and pulls him in closer. “I come back tonight, if you want.”
Sid laughs and bumps their noses together. “Of course I want that, I always want -” He breaks off, interrupted by the doorbell ringing downstairs, and he curses, shooting out of bed so quickly he gets his legs tangled in the sheets and almost falls flat on his face. “Shit. He's early.”
Geno's eyes are wide. “My car, what if he see -”
“You parked it in the garage last night, remember?” Geno's shoulders sag in relief while Sid struggles into last night's clothes, too pressed for time to pick out clean ones from the closet. “I gotta go, be quiet up here until we're gone, and be back in time for dinner? Love you, see you tonight!” He barely waits for Geno's response before he's jumping down the stairs three steps at a time. “Be right there,” he yells, stepping into one shoe, hopping on one foot to get the second one on as he reaches for the door.
“Hi,” Tanger says, smiling brightly.
“Hey,” Sid says, hoping he doesn't sound out of breath, that is face isn't as flushed as it feels.
Tanger slowly looks him up and down, frowning. “Are you okay?” he asks, and Sid blinks back at him.
“Yeah, sure, why?”
“Because,” Tanger gestures at his feet. “You're wearing two different shoes.”
Geno chooses that exact moment to sneeze upstairs, and Sid does his best to cover the noise with a cough, swearing loudly in his head. Fucking shit. Fucking shit. If Tanger find out... “I overslept,” he says. “Must have grabbed one wrong one in a hurry.”
“Ohh...kay.” Tanger doesn't really look like he believes him, but thankfully lets it go anyway.
Sid manages to find matching shoes without Geno making any further noises upstairs. His heart is still pounding as he closes the door behind himself making a mental note to be more careful from now on. Way, way more careful.
II.
“Come on, Geno,” Sid says, weakly pushing at his chest even though he really doesn't want Geno to stop. He never wants him to stop. He never knew he had a thing for having his neck kissed, but either it's a thing for him, or Geno is just that good at it.
“Few more minutes,” Geno mumbles, and gently bites at the skin where Sid's neck meets his shoulder.
“We've been in here for, like, ten minutes already,” Sid points out. “Someone's gonna notice we've both disappeared at the same time eventually.”
It's not really a party, just a few of the guys and their wives and girlfriends hanging out at Geno's for a good meal and a couple of beers. And Sid knew it was a stupid idea to follow Geno upstairs when he went to get a cardigan, and an even stupider idea to shove the bedroom door closed and let Geno kiss him silly against it. Someone's gonna notice. Eventually.
“Okay.” Geno sighs, resting his forehead against Sid's. “Probably right. But...you can stay? Tonight?”
Sid kisses him, slow and soft. “Of course,” he says. “That was always the plan.”
“Love you,” Geno says, and Sid kisses him again before they join their friends back downstairs.
For another blissful half hour he thinks they got away with it, until Olli looks at him, tilts his head, and says, “That's a really impressive hickey.”
Of course, everybody hears. And everybody turns their heads to look. Tanger even pokes him in the neck, right where the mark has to be. Sid claps a hand over it quickly, even though he knows there's no use hiding it anymore. His mind is racing.
“Has that been there all night and we didn't see?” Rusty says, and Sid jumps when Geno speaks up right behind him.
“I see earlier,” he says. “You don't? Been there all night. I'm only wait for Sid telling us about hot date last night. Is not nice, letting friends wait, Sid!”
Sid almost sighs with relief. “I don't kiss and tell,” he says, with what he hopes is a smug smile.
“That thing is huge,” Jake points out. “It's so weird we all missed that. How could we miss that? It's the size of Canada.”
“You just busy drinking too much,” Geno says, and waves an arm toward the kitchen. “Sid can get us more snack to soak up alcohol, if he refuse to tell about hot date.”
Sid gives him a grateful smile as he does his best to walk from the room at a normal pace. Geno deserves a thank-you blowjob for that one later for sure. Right after a stern lecture about where he can put his mouth and what he can do with it when they have company.
III.
They brought their suits because they're going to hit the road right after this optional morning skate, but neither of them felt like dressing up that early in the morning. Sid hadn't even really wanted to go to morning skate in the first place, but they'd been up and Geno had said maybe they should because they hadn't gone to the last few in favour of staying in bed together, and Sid had agreed.
Now they're showered and getting dressed, joking with the other guys who are there, and Sid doesn't notice anything different as he grabs his shirt and sticks his arm through one sleeve. His laughter at a joke Tommy told fades as he tries to get his other arm through the other sleeve, and the fabric stretches unusually tight across his shoulders. He looks down at himself, seeing the shirt fall down all the way to his thighs.
He stops laughing all together and suddenly feels cold. Oh no. He knows exactly what happened.
“G, what the fuck are you wearing?” Tanger asks, sounding horrified, and Sid swallows, not daring to turn around. But he does anyway.
Geno stands there, shirt unbuttoned – a shirt that sits way too loose across his shoulders but ends way too high on his hips.
“Um,” Geno says, looking a little freaked out, and Sid tries to tug at his own shirt sleeve, struggling to get out of it before anybody sees -
“Dude,” Tommy laughs. “Did you and Geno switch shirts?”
“No,” Sid says, probably too quickly. “Uh, I – don't know -”
“This is -” Geno tries, then breaks off.
“Same dry cleaner,” Sid says quickly, and Geno nods vigorously.
“Yes! I pick up yesterday, bring Sid his too.”
“They must have switched the tags out accidentally,” Sid says. He finally gets the fucking shirt off and practically throws it at Geno, a litany of 'shit shit shit shit shit' repeating in his head. This is exactly the kind of thing they didn't need to happen right now. Not again.
Fortunately, Tanger is the only one still staring at them, squinting his eyes and looking thoughtful. Everyone else seems to have moved on to teasing Dumo about something Sid doesn't have the energy to listen to right now.
They couldn't have gotten their T-shirts mixed up in the closet? Nobody notices if a T-shirt fits weird, right? He sighs, doing his best to look calm as he buttons up his own shirt, careful not to look over at Geno. Sharing clothes is kind of hot, actually. Hoodies, sweatpants...totally hot. In private. But maybe not dress shirts. And not in a locker room full of their friends.
+I.
“So,” Sid says, rubbing his sweaty palms over his jeans, taking a breath.
“Yes?” Flower says, patiently. His new house is nice. Sid thinks his old one in Pittsburgh was nicer, but he's glad he got to visit him in his new home on this road trip.
“We, um,” Geno says, but apparently he doesn't know any better how to do this either.
“You can talk to us,” Tanger says.
Sid nods. “We know. That's why we're here.”
“You don't have to though,” Flower assures them. “If you can't.”
“No,” Sid says. “It's important. We -”
“We want get married,” Geno says quickly, a little too loud, a little too fast, but Sid exhales. There it is. It's out. Two of their best friends know and the world didn't end.
“Yeah,” Tanger says.
“Finally,” Flower says.
Sid exchanges a look with Geno. “Uh, what?”
Flower sighs. “You've been dating for two years and in love for, I don't know, twelve? It's about time.”
Geno's mouth is hanging open as he stares at them. “You...know?”
Tanger laughs. “You didn't hide it very well.”
“I'd been hoping you'd get married before I moved away,” Flower admits.
Sid swallows. “Well, we're getting married now,” he says. “This summer. Does, um. Do all the guys know?”
Tanger shakes his head. “Me, Flower, Olli, Cully...I think that's it.”
“Oh thank god,” Sid says, as Geno takes his hand and squeezes.
“We want you to come,” Geno says. “To wedding. Olli and Cully too now, I guess.”
“You can't tell anyone,” Sid says. “Not yet. We'll tell them. We'll have a party for all of them. But we want to do this just for us first.”
Flower nods. “You can count on us,” he says. “We've kept your secret better than you have for all these years. You really are not good at hiding.”
Sid laughs and hides his face against Geno's shoulder as he does. It feels good, being able to do that in front of people now.
* * *
“I can't believe they all knew,” he says to Geno after sneaking into his hotel room that night.
“Of course they know, with way you look at me,” Geno teases. “Very obvious, Sid.”
Sid laughs and elbows him in the side. “Oh yeah? It took you a decade to figure it out.”
Geno pulls him in for a kiss and sticks his hand down his boxers, cupping Sid's ass. “Took you same time,” he points out.
Sid rolls on top of him and kisses him. “We're gonna make up for all that time a hundred times over,” he promises, and slides down to pull Geno's underwear off to get to work on that right away.

Ho-kay so I dunno if you're still accepting dialogue prompts but I read your stuff on AO3 and it's so cute and I was wondering pretty please if you could write a sickfic for Cassian based on #17 okay byeeeeee (hides. but waits anxiously because everything u post is a gift.)
17. “This is all your fault!”
I apologize for how long it took me to finish this prompt! (I have no good excuse, it just takes me forever to write, really.) This is the last of the dialogue prompt requests I have, so I hope you all enjoyed these!
I hope you all aren’t getting sick of Modern AUs, yet, because here’s another...
AO3
Cassian’s phonebuzzed at 8:30, waking him with a groan. When he’d fallen asleep last night, he’dhoped whatever stomach bug he’d caught would have passed, but with how much hisbody protested sitting up, he realized his hopes with all for naught.
Ideally, Cassianwould flop back onto his pillows and sleep the rest of the Saturday away, ignoring all buzzing from his phone. But today was a date he’d had marked in hiscalendar for months and he needed to get up.
Jyn was graduatingfrom law school today and he’d be damned if he missed it.
Using one hand tosteady his swimming head, Cassian headed towards his closet, where he’d atleast been smart enough to lay out his suit. He dressed without much difficulty(he only needed to grab the wall once to prevent himself from falling over) exceptfor his tie. His shaking fingers couldn’t seem to form the knot. With a gruntof frustration, Cassian stomped to the bathroom and flicked on the light, hoping he’d have better luck staring the tie down in the mirror.
“Why, exactly, areyou turning the light on?” Kay complained from the couch where he’d passed outthe night before. He flung a pillow over his eyes in an attempt to block outsome of the light. His muffled voice continued: “What do you not understandabout ‘headache-border-lining-on-migraine’?”
“I turned the light on because this isall your fault and I need to get ready. And, trust me, I understand theheadache, since I’m suffering from the samething,” Cassian said as he undid his tie for the fourth time. His brain, fuzzy from illness and spending most of the last 24 hours passed out on thecouch or folded over the toilet losing whatever food he’d managed to swallow, madehis fingers clumsy and the simple task of knotting his tie impossible. “If you weren’tconvinced you were some kind of droid that doesn’t get sick under anycircumstances, then you wouldn’t have brought this-this whatever kind ofdisease this is home from work and I wouldn’t be resisting the urge to pukeduring Jyn’s graduation!”
His roommate rolledhis eyes in response (though his immediate flinch seemed to remind him that wasa bad idea), flopping back to the couch. “Jyn won’t exactly appreciate it ifyou’re snapping at her today.”
“I won’t be snappingat her,” Cassian insisted, tightening his tie slightly before sighing, accepting tonight would not be his night to appear his best. Though, with hisbloodshot eyes and skin paler than he’d ever seen it, he should have acceptedthat hours ago. “I won’t be snapping at her,” Cassian repeated, this time in acalmer voice, “because she, unlike you,has done absolutely nothing wrong.”
“Honestly, Cassian,I have no idea how you could be blaming me for this.”
“Maybe because youcame home with some kind of stomach bug two days ago and gave the germs to me.”
“I in no way decidedto do that.”
“Don’t care, Kay. I’mblaming you anyway.” Cassian straightened his suit jacket and pushed his hairback, desperate to appear somewhat pulled together. “Shit, I’m sitting with her parents.”
Kay snorted but didn’tmove the pillow. “Ah, yes, her parents. Her very traditional parents who are deeplyappalled by the fact that you signed a lease with their daughter before puttinga ring on her finger and now you’re showing up to her law school graduationlooking entirely hungover. They’re going to love you.”
“For my best friend,”Cassian said, throwing his comb towards Kay (it missed by several feet, so Kaydidn’t even notice), “you’re terrible at being encouraging. Besides,” Cassiancontinued, his voice edging into babbling, “I’m not hungover, and Jyn doesn’t wantto get married. I’m sure the Ersos understand that.”
“Or they think you’restealing their only daughter’s innocence. One of the two.”
Exhausted bystanding to get ready – it had only been five minutes since he’d gotten up; howwas he going to survive tonight? – and by this conversation, Cassian fell intothe nearest chair with a groan. No matter what Kay said – and what he said waslikely correct, considering the way Jyn would rant about the traditional expectationsher parents had for her – Cassian knew the Ersos wouldn’t bring those issues uptoday. Today’s ceremony was the culmination of what Jyn had been working onsince Cassian had met her, when they were second year undergrads.
Which broughtCassian back to his original problem: Of all the weekends in the year when hecould have gotten ill, Cassian had to catch a stomach virus on the mostimportant weekend of Jyn’s life. He’d already bailed on getting breakfast withher family in the hopes that a couple extra hours of sleep would give him theenergy he needed to survive the ceremony. Jyn had been perfectly understanding,of course, had even graciously offered that, if he needed to skip graduation, she wouldn’t mind, but Cassian knew better than that.
With Jyn’s triumphantface in mind, Cassian renewed his incentive, saying goodbye to Kay and headingout the door.
“Cassian! What apleasure to see you!”
Lyra Erso, Jyn’smother, was the first of the group to notice him. At her greeting, Galen, Jyn’sfather and Bodhi, her adopted brother, turned to greet him too, sending theirown smiles his way. Cassian leaned back as Lyra moved to hug him, explainingquickly, “I caught a stomach virus from my roommate a few days ago, and I don’twant to get you sick.”
“Yes, Jyn told usthis morning,” Galen said, clapping his shoulder. “We’re sorry to hear you’renot feeling well. I’m impressed that you made it to the ceremony.”
“Anything for Jyn,right?” Cassian said sincerely, but glad to see a smile in response from herparents.
“Between you and me,”Bodhi whispered to him and they made their way to the auditorium, “when Jyntold us that this morning, I thought that was just a good excuse to give yourgirlfriend’s parents when you were incredibly hungover.”
“I wish I washungover,” Cassian muttered. “At least I have a remedy for that.”
“If you startnodding off during the speeches, I’ll nudge you awake,” Bodhi promised, andCassian took a moment to be thankful how well he and Bodhi got along.
Jyn had given herfamily instructions on the best seating, so Cassian followed them. The crowd ofpeople – did everyone need to be so loud?– made Cassian’s head pound and he squinted his eyes against the bright lights. The biggest reprieve was that no food or drink was allowed in the auditorium,so no harsh smells assaulted Cassian’s sensitive stomach.
Despite his best intentionsotherwise, Bodhi did nudge him multiple times throughout the ceremony to centerhim, and Cassian knew he’d fail any quiz about the speeches since their wordsmorphed into something more akin to the voices of the adults in the Peanutcartoons than English. He kept this eyes propped open for the most importantpart of the ceremony, however. As the graduates lined up to receive theirdiplomas, Cassian scanned the line to find Jyn, beating both Galen and Bodhi infinding her among the sea of black gowns.
As the name “JynErso” was read, he ignored the protesting of his hoarse throat to cheer withher family. The swell of pride he felt as Jyn smiled up at them reminded himsuffering through his aching head and stomach was worth it just to see Jyn’ssmile.
He broke his ownwarning by sweeping Jyn into his arms upon finding her in the lobby, though hedid make an effort to stop her from kissing him.
“I don’t care if Iget sick,” Jyn assured him over his protests, “I don’t care.”
So she kissed him, her hands – one still holding her new diploma– tight around his neck.
