I have been obsessed with Trigun Stampede I would love to hear more about you and Knives. Do you have an idea of how exactly Malachi and Knives meet and like how does their relationship progress? Also, with Malachi's ideologies and experiences, how do you think he interacts with Vash?

HIHIHIHIHIHIHI LOVE YOU FOREVER ANYWAY im literalllyyyyy working on exactly that first meeting as a fic :3 knives shows up to steal the town's plant only to find out wait. the facility is just... someones home? (malachi's home lol). they end up clashing because wtf, thats my home, why are you attacking the people who live here. bitch. malachi chases knives away, and mostly bristles when the topic is brought up again... until vash comes along. on the run, as always. strangers are always directed to malachi's home if they have any questions at all, so naturally the two end up interacting. i have a dialogue idea for this as well lol.

because vash was spotted again, knives makes his way back, especially since it's that town, the one with the living god. if he can get both of them on his side, all the better. but once again malachi puts his foot down, says that he stays here because otherwise these people would die without him.

"alright. i'll make the deaths swifter then."

cue massacre. both vash and malachi try to stop him but only like one or two people survive (it was a very small town to begin with, only like 50 people. close knit community.). malachi enters a blind rage and vows to kill millions knives personally. vash is like "thats my brother ??!??!?" and malachi looks at vash. and sees real, genuine concern and emotion. so malachi says he's still going to track knives down. cue cat and mouse game that leads to the hatemance of a lifetime. doesnt get more kismesis than that.

as for how malachi and vash interact: while both he and vash value humanity and want them to survive, vash approaches it from an angle of atonement and malachi approaches it from an angle of attachment, ykwim? malachi still sees himself as superior to humans due to his status as an independant. he has water generation powers, and water has always meant life. he was never hated for being different, never attacked for who he was, he was put on a pedestal and damn near worshipped.

nobody gets through either experience and ends up normal

canonically in sdv there is a bouquet that symbolizes romantic love so that would def be involved in any flower exchange between the two! for specifics tho (and not following canon of gift likes & dislikes in the game) i think seb would like poppies. meg loves sunflowers so seb gets her those!

🏖️ - what would a beach date with your f/o look like?

well there’s the beach in pelican town and the beach resort on ginger island; either way seb isn’t a big fan of the beach, but is willing to go if it makes meg happy. the two may wade in the water and look for fish or shells, or just sit on the beach and enjoy the weather. also if sam and abigail are there, they may try a game of volleyball!

🎉 - how would your f/o plan your birthday? do they set up a party or take you out on a casual date to your favorite place?

seb is not the partying type and meg isn’t always either — so he’d probably surprise her in the morning by waking her up with a gift or some of her fav food, then take her out to dinner in the evening. during the day he’d probably try and have her relax and take a break from farming, and play video games together instead! maybe even buy her a new game of her choice

🌺 - What first caught your eye when it came to Carly?

Probably just how tiny she is. She's a scrawny little thing, and not very tall either. She's like a doll!

🌷 - What is your favorite thing to do with Carly?

Probably just curl up in front of the fire with a warm meal. She gets all cuddly with me and dozes off more often than not.

🍁 - What’s your favorite outfit your Carly has worn?

Probably that dress she wore to the wedding we went to a couple years back. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen her in a dress. It's certainly not her favorite thing to wear, but I think she looks heavenly.

🌊 - How do you handle being separated from Carly for any amount of time?

As long as I know she's safe, I honestly don't mind too much. I know we'll be reunited again eventually, even if our duties keep us apart for a while. It does tug at my heartstrings knowing she misses me as much as she does when I'm away, though.

🌻 - How would you describe Carly physically?

Petite, adorable, sweet lil smattering of freckles, gorgeous brown curls, biggest doe eyes you've ever seen.

🌼 - How would you describe Carly's personality?

Tenderhearted, hilarious, generous, loyal... You've got me rambling now.

💐 - What have you learned from Carly?

It took me a while to figure out how to answer this one, to be honest. I'll be 419 this winter. Inherently, there ain't a lot about the world that I don't know yet. But I think one thing she's definitely taught me is what it feels like to love, and be loved.

🌸 - How did you meet Carly?

Uhg. I ain't proud of this, but if you must know...

"Ani?" Soldagand called, standing in the doorway of the kitchen that led to the den.

"Hmm?" Ani replied from his spot at the sink. He was finishing up a few chores before he and Soldagand left for a trip into town.

"What is that?" He indicated towards the being who was curled up in front of the fire, seemingly fast asleep next to a raccoon.

"Oh, did I not mention that I have a guest?" Ani asked. "A mage was lost and injured in the woods. I have opened my home to her."

"Hmm." Soldagand eyed her curiously. "She human?"

"Yes. As far as I can tell, anyway. I suppose I haven't asked, but I have no reason to suspect otherwise."

"She's adorable."

Aniketos chuckled. "Yes, you do have a soft spot for little things, don't you?"

Soldagand rolled his eyes. "I'm not soft, I just— she's cute. What's her name?"

"Carly."

"Carly..." Soldagand was silent for a moment. "Think she'd mind if I picked her up and gave her a lil cuddle?"

"Shouldn't you introduce yourself before manhandling her?" Aniketos reminded him with a laugh.

"I guess."

"She's a human, Soldagand, not a kitten. And please, at least wait until the poor thing has woken up."

"As if there's a difference. But fine, if you insist."

Much to Soldagand's excitement, Aniketos's human guest was awake when they returned from town. She was standing in front of the fireplace, admiring the squirrels that sat on the mantle. She hadn't seemed to notice the dryads' arrival. Sol glanced to Ani for approval, and upon receiving a nod, strode into the den. "What have we here?" came Sol's booming voice.

The young woman jumped slightly, startled out of her thoughts. She was a timid little thing, gawking at him like that.

"Carly, right? The name's Soldagand. Ani's been tellin' me all about you." He offered his hand.

She quickly collected herself. "It's nice to meet you," Carly said once she found her voice, shaking his hand and offering him a warm smile. His dwarfed hers, so much that it was almost comical.

"Likewise. Now, let me get a good look at ya..." Without another word, he lifted the poor girl into the air from under her arms. She let out an embarrassed squeak and completely froze. "Well, well, well! You've got yourself a cute one!" he praised Ani as he looked her over. She was even lighter than he anticipated — she couldn't have weighed much more than one hundred pounds. He was easily two feet taller than her. "And so tiny, too!" Her freckled cheeks started turning red and he chuckled. "Do all humans change color like this when you pick 'em up?" he asked Aniketos with a sly grin. "Or is it just yours?"

"Soldagand," Ani warned his guest with a sigh.

Sol finally set her down and sent her a playful wink. The poor girl looked ready to faint. It took all his resolve not to laugh. It was clear the girl was frazzled. Intimidated, certainly. It was adorable. Satisfied, he ruffled her hair and strode back over to his friend.

Aniketos seemed unamused. "Must you tease my guest like that?"

"C'mon, I was just messin' with her! Besides, she liked it — you saw how red she was gettin'."
