I don’t think people realize how Eddie’s death would deeply affect Steve especially since Eddie was probably the only older male in the entire show that liked Steve. He finally had someone he could relate to and bond with until it was taken away from him in a second. All the things that he hasn’t opened up to Robin about maybe Eddie could’ve helped him open up more, it kills me that we’ll never know what their relationship platonic or not could’ve been.
