also I had a neat bounce house obstacle course thing advertised to me on fb (the big bounce america) and I did click it, it says it’s for “all abilities” which is patently untrue but still a nice sentiment in terms of not being tailored only towards the hardcore and being allowed to just go at your own pace or skip whatever, but also in the covid information page (which is at least linked in the bar at the top of the site) it says “Our event will adhere to the prevailing restrictions, mandates and health advice in each location we visit” which just means they’re bitch babies who won’t set their own standards and basically want to do whatever is legally permissible. which is pretty weak.
it still looks really fun tho, maybe they’ll still be touring once things are safer. I’ll show it to the partner group chat, they’re always looking for fun stuff to include me in.
edit: actually, I’m reading through the rest of their faq and their accessibility really isn’t bad aside from their weenie hut covid policy. tickets are for 3 hour sessions and they sanitize in between, there’s seating and shade and food vendors (none of which require a ticket to access, only the bounce houses themselves), outside food is entirely allowed “in case nothing takes your fancy on the day, or in case you have dietary restrictions” (this one is actually pretty fuckin big all things considered these days), they’re upfront about what they can and cannot be certain of ahead of time, there’s a wide variety of energy/activity levels accommodated for, they warn you that there’s a hype man circling, overall pretty reassuring level of detail as an autistic person tbh.

RULES ARE ONLY THERE FOR LOSERS
>>Follow @lavishleaders >>Follow @lavishleaders >>Follow @lavishleaders
It is a colloquial statement suggesting that following rules or adhering to societal norms is a sign of weakness or a lack of individuality. It implies that those who break or disregard rules are somehow superior or more free-thinking. However, it is important to remember that rules and laws exist for a reason, such as maintaining order and promoting safety in society. Disregarding rules can lead to negative consequences for oneself and others. It is important to strike a balance between standing up for one's beliefs and also respecting the rules that are in place to ensure a functioning society.
