Neck pain update!
Okay so last time I wrote about this, was when I got the MRI results for my neck, which was blank, zero issues found. However the pain in my neck was still so bad I can't walk without pain, can't jump or run at all, and can't carry anything over 2kg. I was too scared to try and fix it on my own, because messing with an injured neck without training is dangerous, and can do damage, so I didn't want to risk making it worse. However, if the scans say the neck is fine, then I can't really ruin it, right, so I've started looking for exercises that don't hurt.
As I was looking for neck-related exercises on youtube (they all hurt too much), youtube was starting to recommend me back exercises as well, some of them specifically for Rhomboid pain. Now, I didn't know what this rhomboid was, but it so happened that I had pain in that exact spot, between shoulder blades, but that pain came and went, so I thought it must be psychosomatic (when you have chronic pain you assume most of what hurts is psychosomatic).
Anyway, I decided to do those exercises because it's much less scary to work on back pain, and they didn't hurt as much. Then I found, in the same source, some neck exercises that seemed a bit dangerous; they instructed me to lay down with my neck hanging over the bed, then hold my own head with my arms, and move it, like I'm fixing it in place. I was shocked to find out that this didn't hurt me, so I did that exercise twice. And then the shocking thing happened.
That exercise immediately changed how the pain felt while I was walking. Before, I used to feel every step as a punch to the back of my neck; now it was to the back of my head. This made me dizzy, nauseous and want to vomit, the first time it happened, and I was very scared that I made it worse. Pressure and pain where my brain is, felt even more serious than neck pain, and I didn't repeat that exercise ever again, in hope the pressure and pain in my head would go away. It didn't, however, go away, but I learned to deal with it, and it became somewhat bearable. I am due in few months for a brain MRI so if there's something actually wrong with my brain, I will find out then. I am suspicious though that maybe there's some muscle in my back that is extending up to the head causing issues. But I don't know if there is such a thing.
I kept doing the exercise for the back pain, but the back pain did not go away from it, the exercise just keeps getting more painful as I keep doing it, unsure whether I should just stop.
After that I fell depressed for a while, and just played stardew valley laying down using my touchpad, and this is where the pain got worse in my left arm. Before that, my arm hurt a little, if I was bending it backwards or extending it too far or carrying anything, but now, it hurt a lot, at all times, whenever I was trying to do anything at all. I thought I made it worse with my irresponsible video gaming, my wrist was now hurting badly too, and I couldn't bend my arm to use the laptop anymore. I tried with my right hand and then my right hand started hurting too.
I was trying various wrist exercises thinking it was the video game problem, that made no difference whatsoever, so today I finally looked up all possible causes of pain in the arm, and found something that was close to the pain I felt - coracobrachialis muscle pain. I've never heard of that muscle, but it's under the arm and connects the back and arm, and can get damaged from overuse. I found instructions on how to locate it, and upon pressing on it, I felt such intense pain I was crying and curled into a ball for a while, it's clear to me that this muscle is in bad condition.
Now, all the pain relief instructions for this were to give this muscle a massage, but I absolutely cannot do that, I can't touch that muscle, I can't press on it, the pain of just the smallest pressure is insane, while I'm happy to have found the source of my arm pain, I am absolutely lost as to what to do with this. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this specific muscle? I can't force myself to massage it until I find a way to somehow relax it, or relax the area around it, so that it would be this painful to touch.
Also, the neck itself has shown some tiny improvements. It feels like it got a little stronger, because now I can lift my head while lying down, which I couldn't do before. I can sometimes sit for a bit more than I could do before, I was limited to 20min of sitting before I had to lie down, now I can sit for an hour (with discomfort, but not pain). It still hurts while I walk but now it's more like pressure than being hit with pain, my head instead takes the hit. If I try to run, I get intense pain and pressure in my head, and it extends to my neck as well.
I think I did something okay along the way, maybe few mistakes. There's probably more than one problem with my muscles, I suspect, and I hope I will find ways to resolve them one by one. I even thought for a second that I maybe lack collagen because I'm vegan but then when I looked it up, it's something body produces by itself and doesn't need a supplement. So it's just a big mystery at this point. I still blame that tree-falling accident because this wasn't going on beforehand.

It feels good to draw Numskull & Pele after such a long stint of not drawing much of anything last year due to ongoing shoulder problems. Still dealing with said issues (not sure what is wrong still, but my Physical Therapist and I have narrowed it down to the problem area), so you get a simple doodle to not tax my arm too much. And yes I am HELLA rusty with drawing these two, so I may try to do simple doodles of them for a while when I feel up to it. Btw I don't think I can handle much more than doodles right now, which is better than last year this time when I couldn't even draw for like 6+ months.

I’m taking my first anatomy class and losing my mind a little. Any study tips for learning names of things, and/or how does anyone tell shit apart during dissections, cause I feel like it all looks like meat 😭
ok so like when i was maybe 11 years old I got really obsessed with this book called Hatchet, where a boy ends up stranded in the woods after a plane crash and has to survive on his own. there's a scene in the book where he's trying to hunt these birds because he's starving and has run out of the plane's emergency provisions, and he can't see them!! he knows the birds are somewhere out there but they camouflage pretty well so he's just failing over and over again.
and then there's one moment where he watches one of these birds take flight silhouetted against the sky and he SEES it. and he realizes that he was looking in all the wrong ways. he was just stumbling around looking for "bird" when what he needed to do was relearn how to see. and in order to relearn how to see he needed to understand the shape. and then he goes back into the forest and blinks and suddenly, there are a millions birds just sitting there.
and i think this is really true of how to succeed in anatomy lab. the brachial plexus looks like a mess because you are looking for the brachial plexus but you don't understand its shape. you don't understand how it connects to everything else and how it exists within the body, so you're just kinda lost in there poking around. of course it just looks like meat, you haven't learned how to see it yet.
so like, tips: can you draw it from memory? can you explain it's three dimensional relationship to the structures it surrounds and that surround it? have you gone in and practiced, explained it to a classmate and had them teach it back to you? can you start at one end of the structure and follow it all the way down? anatomy is often taught in disparate parts, either systemically or limb-by-limb, but it's one system. I can pull on a tendon in the forearm and the finger moves. I can pull on a nerve at the shoulder and see that same nerve move down by the wrist. and it isn't easy!! it takes time and practice and failure but once you learn to See it's like you blink and suddenly there are a million birds
for terminology I recomend learning what the word means (i.e. brachial means arm, ante means "before", logically then it follows that antebrachial means forearm. proximal to distal, the muscles of coracobrachialis -> brachialis -> brachioradialis make logical sense in their order) and then just practicing. flashcards, writing it out by hand, drilling your friends and getting quizzed in turn.
good luck!!!

What is a Real Frozen Shoulder?
Many clients have come in over the years with a diagnosis of ‘frozen shoulder’. A REAL Frozen Shoulder occurs when the joint capsule develops ‘Adhesive Capsulitis’.
Most shoulders are not really frozen but immobilized by co-contractions of external and internal rotators.What can be done when the shoulder is not really frozen; when palpation and passive ROM reveal that the capsule itself is not involved but movement without pain and restriction is not possible.
THE EMOTIONAL COMPONENT
I have heard that frozen shoulder can follow an emotional trauma. A former student came in to see me as a client. She had recently gone through two losses of people dear to her. She developed frozen shoulder. I’ve also heard that frozen shoulder will go away on its own after a couple of years. Can that process be speeded up? Yes, it can.
Any condition with an emotional component as history requires checking for Contralateral Coordination Dysfunction. Muscle testing reveals ALL shoulder muscles are weak. Brain Buttons turned on some of the muscles, but the shoulder is still dramatically dysfunctional.
Many external rotation functions are inhibiting the internal rotator of the Subscapularis.**
Once internal rotators were working, we worked adhered and rigid shoulder tissues.
4 NEUROMUSCULAR REPROGRAMMING NMR® TREATMENTS
4 neuromuscular reprogramming treatments one month apart has almost completely removed the restriction and pain.
Now that the emotional factors have been addressed, in session 2 we were able to deal with some of the peripheral dysfunctions created by the main restrictions in the shoulder. We also began to work with the support and function of the neck muscles and how they contributed to the shoulder dysfunction.
In frozen shoulder, the muscles of shoulder depression dominate those of elevation.
The client cannot lift their arm. Neither can they internally or externally rotate to a full potential ROM.
External rotators are usually inhibiting internal rotators to begin with…RESOLVING SCAPULAR ADHESIONS IN THIS CASE OF FROZEN SHOULDER:
First, I addressed Scapular Adhesions, specifically… Lt Rhomboid AND Lt Coracobrachialis inhibited Lt Teres Maj, Subscapularis
PMC inhibits Post Delt; Traps; Supraspinatus
THE NEXT LAYER OF DYSFUNCTION:
Lt Subscap inhibits Lt Infraspinatus AND Supraspinatus (int rot’n inhibits ext rot’n) This was revealed after decompressing the shoulder with traction and tissue manipulation to reduce tissue rigidity.
More neck work resolved Lt Scalenes inhibit Rt Scalenes. Lt OCI inhibits Rt OCI Rt OCS inhibits Lt OCS Lt Rec Cap inhibits Rt Rec Cap
(Yet another seeming reversal in dysfunction is now apparent as the neck compression issues of rotation and counter rotation are resolved.)
(Next session we need to connect the low back to Lt neck and shoulder.)
THE FINAL SESSION: PAIN ON MOVEMENT IS GONE, BUT DETAILS REMAIN
Lt Sterno-Clavicular Joint is stuck (immobilized). Infraspinatus inhibits Subclavius; Serratus Posterior Superior (SPS); Subscapularis Ant Serratus inhibits Ant Deltoid. (Remember that Infraspinatus and long head of Tricep inhibited Lt Lat and Infraspinatus was the most fixated muscle in the superficial shoulder area.)
The synergist of Subclavius, PMC is likewise inhibiting Subclavius; also P. Delt and Bicep.
Now we begin to see the layer of dysfunction under the layer we’ve been able to work with.  Subscapularis inhibiting Teres Major; Teres Major inhibiting Subscapularis (how can this be?
An increase in the ROM in the joint reveals YET ANOTHER layer of dysfunctional synergistic muscle relationships.)
Teres Minor inhibits PMC AND Subclavius (once again we are looking at reciprocal inhibitions).
Rt Obliquus Capitis Superior (OCS) inhibits OC inferior (OCI); Lt eye tracking. Rt Eye tracking inhibits Lt OCI. Needs more work.
Did extensive tissue mobilization throughout the structure of upper chest and all through the arm muscles.
Client is quite satisfied with her progress but still can’t ‘lift’ her hand behind her back to the range it was before. These details will continue to progress with more work, but 4 sessions is extraordinarily fast to accomplish freedom from pain on movement.
NOTES: *In the case of True Frozen Shoulder, the medical approach of forced manipulation under anesthesia is called for.**(PT approaches given for frozen shoulder begin with exercising the external rotator functions of the shoulder. Since external rotation is usually dominant in frozen shoulder this would seem counter indicated.)

7 Best Resistance Band Bicep Exercises For Bigger Arm
Tumblr media
When it comes to working out at home, resistance band bicep exercises are a great way to build strength and tone your arms. But where do you start?The great news is that you can perform an effective bicep workout in the comfort of your own home with a band. Resistance band exercises like bicep curls and hammer curls work the bicep muscles to make them stronger and more toned.You will not only get toned arms, but you will also get stronger, which will help you do better pulling and curling motions.In this blog post, we’ll explore the best band bicep exercises you can do at home, as well as a sample workout routine and tips for effective bicep training So, let’s dive in.
Know About Your Bicep Muscles
The biceps brachii muscle (biceps) is a large, thick muscle of the upper arm.The Biceps Brachii is attached to the forearm bone called the radius and originates at the scapula in two heads (the bicep gets its name from the two heads).Your biceps brachii has two heads: short (inner) and long (outer) - The short head is located along the inner side of the anterior upper arm. It contributes to the biceps’ width. - The long head is located along the outer side of the anterior upper arm. It comprises the majority of the biceps’ peak The biceps is one of four muscles alongside the brachialis, brachioradialis, and coracobrachialis muscles that make up the upper arm. Best Bicep Exercises With Resistance Band
Resistance bands are a versatile and effective tool for bicep workouts. They offer unique advantages that you can’t get from dumbbells, barbells, or cable machines alone.
1. Standing Resistance Band Curls
If you’re looking for straightforward bicep band exercises to add to your routine, bicep curls are a great staple exercise to get you started.Resistance bands bicep curl keep the muscles in tension throughout the entire movement, which leads to more bicep muscle activation. This means that you will get more out of each repetition of the bicep exercise.
2. Seated Row With Resistance Bands
Seated Row with Resistance Bands primarily target the traps, latissimus dorsi, rhomboids, rear delts and biceps. It will also work your erector spinae, as you need your lower back to stabilize your movement. Resistance bands are easy to carry and use, so you can do seated rows almost anywhere.

Looking Respectfully
Asahi, Iwaizumi, Ushijima with a s/o with an appreciation for their arms/back. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Azumane Asahi x Reader
Iwaizumi Hajime x Reader
Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader
For @sweet-sweet-strawberry ,, here you go!!! I will def sit here and looking at their beautiful muscles with you. I think my favorites on each of these sweethearts would be Asahi’s back, Iwaizumi’s arms, and Ushijima’s thighs, respectfully. Anyway,, sorry this took so long I was really busy today!!!
SMUT // NSFW
WC- 1,976
~~~
Azumane Asahi
I was conducting my research for this…. Asahi speech. I was looking at pics of him and rechecking his sign and now my big brain is connecting the dots,,,, he is a Capricorn.... like his personality totally makes sense now knowing that,,, right?
Anyway,,,, I am currently looking respectfully at this tall gorgeous hottie!! He 6’0? He passed the I’ll be his housewife check
He is so big like his back and shoulders are so broad like lemme take a little swing daddy,,, sorry
Asahi is so polite and bashful that he would get really blush when he catches you staring at him,,, like running your eyes all over his body
I feel like he would thank you a lot whenever you compliment him, he would say thank you like fifty times…. Why is he so cute?
His self-confidence would go through the roof when he finds out how attracted you are to his arms/back,,, he would try to tease you about it but you could always tease him back really well so his methods doesn’t work like he wants it to
Telling him how much you like his muscles will probably fuel his ego, it would make him feel so good and internally he would get so cocky,,,, he would never let the power go to his head though….
It does come in handy, your appreciation for his arms because Asahi has the opportunity to make you so weak
Literally one flex of his biceps or even a glance of his bare back would have you on your knees in front of him, pulling your hair back
Asahi is one of the softest sweetest mf and he definitely knows how to treat you,, he knows what he is doing. Also I want to add that Asahi is the blueprints for what all men should strive to be like, quiet.
“A-Asahi!” You hiccup, tears pooling in your eyes as you dig your nails into his back.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” Asahi stares down at you, his face etched with concern as he looks at your pained expression. “Are you okay?”
You can’t answer and simply nod your head, hoping he gets the hint. He feels so thick inside of you, you feel so full.
“Keep going,” You push through grit teeth and Asahi wants to slow his movements, but judging from the way your nails keep piercing his back, he knows he shouldn’t. “it feels so good.”
Asahi blinks as he connects the dots all together in his head, the way you’re mewling and the way you’re holding onto his back so tightly, it should’ve made sense earlier. Asahi spreads your legs further apart, making an obvious point as he thrusts deeper inside of you. He takes advantage of how easy it is to bottom out, letting you grind against him as he stills against that one spot along your walls.
“Yes,” You lean up to kiss his neck, running your tongue along the front of his throat, nipping at any spot you can reach. “right there.” Asahi moans softly as you suck a deep bruise in the crook of his neck, the vibrations from your muffled moan go straight down to his aching cock.
He doesn’t want to be gentle anymore.
Suddenly his hips begin to move again, snapping into yours at a pace you can barely keep up with. The motion makes you fall back against the bed, unwrapping your hands from his shoulders to drag down his front instead. You watch with needy eyes as his abs ripple under your touch and you take pride in the light red scratches going down his chest.
“Babe,” Asahi warns and you pretend not to notice, he lowers onto his forearms and brings his face real close to yours and utters a single warning. “Play nice or you’re really going to get it.”
Iwaizumi Hajime
Now… now my baby boy,,,, ugh my gorgeous Hajime~~ Arms. ARMS.
Iwaizumi Hajime has them biceps, triceps, brachialis, coracobrachialis, bicep brachii, tricep brachii, thank you. Now, I know what you’re thinking ‘bitch everyone has those muscles’ and you would be right but they aren’t Iwaizumi Hajime
You guys know that photo of him with the sash that says ‘champion’ on it? Yeah,,, that’s what I AM thinking about. Please he is so damn fine, my arm wrestling KING. Next
Iwaizumi is such a shy sweet little baby BUT at the same time he is an attention-seeking gemini, therefore…. Very early on I think he would be shy whenever you compliment his looks but then later in the relationship he’d be like ‘oh you like what you see bbyg?’
He’d get really red and flustered under your stare like if you are just looking respectfully then he will seriously get soooooooo shy,,, Hanamaki will make fun of him for ages because of it LOL
When he gets more comfortable and confident with you then Iwaizumi would most definitely do things on purpose to rile you up
He’d carry heavy boxes or just stretch in front of you so that his biceps POP and you just have to sit there like…. :) thank you for the view, Hajime
Let’s sidebar for a second and IMAGINE how amazing his hugs would be,,, even though my short kind isn’t the tallest his arms would make you feel so safe and warm
Can I also add that Iwaizumi’s resting bitch face is so hot? Like he looks so unapproachable and like such an ass but he is the sweetest person EVER,,, gawd I love himmmmm m>>>>>>
Damn I really,,, what else do I add… I am just sitting here staring at photos of Iwaizumi and I am genuinely rendered speechless… he is a very handsome person
Your pitiful whimpers slip out of your mouth one after another. You try to muffle the noises by burying your face into the crook of Iwaizumi’s neck but it doesn’t work, not when he is thrusting into you like this.
“Relax, babe.” Iwaizumi drags his lips against your ear, his voice lowering uncharacteristically deep and it makes your head spin. His strong arms are wrapped around your waist as he cradles you into his chest as you rest in his lap. Your thighs are starting to grow tired from lifting yourself up and down to meet his thrusts, but the stretch is too delicious to quit. One of Iwaizumi’s hands rubs along your back soothingly, gently caressing your skin.
“Does that feel good?” He asks and slows down his thrusts, making sure you feel everything. The teasing pace, as much as you’d rather him pound into you, feels so good. Iwaizumi always makes it a point to fuck you slow and sensual, when he isn’t fucking all his frustrations out.
You love the feeling of him against you like this, holding you so close as if you’ll slip away from him. It nearly drives you crazy, he keeps thrusting into your soaked core and his groans make it harder and harder to focus on anything.
The noises that Iwaizumi Hajime produces are not to be taken lightly, his grunts and groans are so deep. So full of need that it almost sounds animalistic, yet he also makes breathy little whines. Noises that make you wonder just how he would react if he wasn’t in control. His whimpers are your favorite, the sounds he makes when he gets close, it is almost like he is begging for more.
“Hajime,” You need to hear him, you grind down against him, successfully ripping a hiss from his teeth.
“What, baby?” He asks, his strong hands grip your backside to control the movement of your bodies. Iwaizumi always makes it so obvious who is in control. From his angle, he can see everything, the way his hard cock disappears into your warm entrance, the way your face tenses up whenever it feels too good. When he gets no response, he has to ask again. “What is it?”
“I need to hear you.”
Ushijima Wakatoshi
MOTHERFCKING USHIJIMA WAKATOSHIIIII...iiiiiiii...iiii.....i. his stupid beautiful gorgeous stoic face and his thick muscular back that would tense under your touch or his abdomen that would flex every time he breathes or his biceps that would strain every time he moves it,,,, yeah I know how muscles work I took anatomy
Let’s start off with saying that Ushijima would not notice your staring, I think it would take him a while to figure out how much you appreciate his back and arms
He’d just be like ‘why do you keep staring at me?’ And be really confused
Even if you told him that you love the way his muscles flex whenever he simply moves, Ushijima would still be like ‘. . . and?’
He probably wouldn’t get the reasoning and wouldn’t think him moving is anything special... it is special Wakatoshi, you are special,
I don’t think he would purposely do stuff to turn you on,,,, he hasn’t unleashed that power yet even if he KNOWS he has it
However that doesn’t mean he won’t hold back,, he is still going to play volleyball like he always has and exercise like Ushijima always does without a care in his mind
Let’s simply take a moment to think about how gorgeous he looks in that stupid ass shiratorizawa uniform, ugh with his large ass biceps that are literally bigger than my big ass head or how tight the uniform looks on his BACK,,, something about me thirsting over him like this doesn’t feel right. I apologize Ushijima, I am looking respectfully
Probably after the first two times you jump his bones solely because of his gorgeous arms then Ushijima will finally get it,,, the light bulb would click in his head
I think Ushijima would be a really cute tease like the way he would taunt you would be so adorable,,,, he’d subtly move his arms in front of you so you can stare happily and let your mouth water in peace and act like he doesn’t know what he is doing when he damn well knows
“(Y/N), are you even listening?” Ushijima slightly tilts his head, his olive eyes are hard as he stares at you. You don’t meet his eyes, you simply nod while continuing to stare at his forearms. They are crossed over his chest and you can’t help but follow the veins that wrap around his arms. “What did I say?” Ushijima waits silently for your answer, noticing how you barely even blink and instead run your eyes all over his body and up to his strong shoulders.
“Mmm, something about volleyball?” You hum and Ushijima continues to stare at you. He heaves a sigh and stands up from his seat, placing his palms flat on the table in front of you. You can’t help the appreciate smile that comes onto your face at the sight of his arms flexing so close to you, the stupid love-sick expression on your face doesn’t go away even as you slowly bring your eyes up to his. “Is that not what you said?"
You sound so innocent that it makes Ushijima bite back a groan, instead he wraps one of his hands around your wrist and drags you toward his bedroom. As soon as you close his door behind you, you turn back around to catch the large shirt that was once on his body now on the floor. With an excited squeal you instantly place your palms on his back, running your hands all around to feel the hardness beneath his warm skin.
“Am I getting a special treat~” You ask suggestively, knowing damn well Ushijima can never say no. He doesn’t give you an answer and instead turns around to face you. One of his hands grabs your chin while the other cups the back of your neck so he can instantly press his lips to yours.
His lips mold and fit with your own, eagerly prying them apart so he can swipe his tongue against your own. It’s always a ploy to get your tongue into his own mouth, from there Ushijima can gently suck on the muscle and hear that sweet whine escape from your lips.
When he finally pulls away, only letting a few centimeters of space rest between your lips, does he answer your question.
“Yes. Only for my good girl.”
CORACOID TENSEGRITY [FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY & BIOMECHANICS] The coracoid process of the scapula is an anchor point for a number of muscles and ligaments. These soft tissues all provide a certain amount of tension in their own specific vector to balance the forces on the coracoid process. These structures also have a role in stabilizing the forces on their other attachments. The tissues include muscles: 1. Biceps brachii short head 2. Coracobrachialis 3. Pectoralis Minor Ligaments: 4. Conoid ligament 5. Trapezoid ligament 6. Coraco-glenoid ligament (posterior to coracoid, not visible) 7. Coraco-acromial ligament posterior 8. Coraco-acromial ligament anterior 9. Coraco-humeral ligament anterior band 10. Coraco-humeral ligament posterior band The coraco-clavicular ligaments (conoid, trapezoid) resist superior translation of the clavicle with the conoid also resisting anterior translation and the trapezoid resisting posterior translation of the clavicle. The coraco-acromial ligaments manage the space between the coracoid and the acromion which houses the subacromial bursa (star). The bursa is cradled inferiority by the coraco-humeral ligament. If the tensional balance on all of these tissues is disturbed from injury, fibrosis or spasm, the net result is a disturbed position of the clavicle, scapula and humerus along with alteration of all spaces between the bones. This will also lead to common biomechanical dysfunctions such as “subacromial impingement” of the subacromial bursa and supraspinatus tendon. While most focus on the rotator cuff in rehabilitating impingement syndromes, one can’t forget the coracoid complex and it’s role in shoulder girdle function. Conceptualizing where the structures are located and then precisely palpating them will be the only way to effectively treat these important tissues. How is your neck?
hey thanks for asking!
My neck got a little better since I found a certain exercise that helped me decentralize the pain, but the pain shifted to my head instead, and the pain in my left shoulder and left arm got worse, so I'm trying to find some exercises/positions to deal with that!
I am very relieved that the neck is no longer in such grave state, I was even able to use a pillow at night for the last few nights and I couldn't do that in a year. No clue how to deal with the whole head and shoulder pain issue, I'm just starting to look up exercises and they all hurt sooo badly to do, I definitely have some deep issues in it. But it's kind of, better to have shoulder and arm pain than neck pain, neck pain felt much more dangerous! I still can't walk because now it hurts my head xD but I will get a brain MRI in a month or so, so that's comforting.
After Action Report 457AF-12
{Submitted by Tez’sara of Fireteam Baroque.}
We responded to the distress call of Fireteam Jerrus in the Plaguelands, they were under heavy fire by corrupted Eliksni Forces, we were only a few kilometers away and could travel quickly.
Kraken-8, Veroksis (register under Helios-12), and myself came in onto Fireteam Jerrus south of what the Vanguard would designate as the Archon’s Forge. Preliminary recon, as well as the reports from Jerrus, made it clear that Jerrus had in some manner agitated the Splicer forces within the Forge, as multiple hostiles were surrounding the entrenched ship wreckage as well as two SIVA infested Spider Walker heavy mechanical vehicle.
Veroksis was first onto the ground, and quickly re-positioned to a higher elevation, and sets up his rifle to pick off any high value targets within the mixed mass of Splicer forces.
Kraken and myself were shortly after on the scene, and quickly began making our way to the exposed flank of the enemy forces. Kraken was the first to spot Fireteam Jerrus, hunkered behind the torn wing of a Golden Age spacecraft, doing their best to avoid the heavy fire and the cannons from the Walkers.
Veroksis started firing upon the Vandal snipers perched around the crash site, while Kraken threw her two incendiary grenades into the mass of Splicer Dregs and Vandals. I set about to disrupt the Walkers with a Storm Grenade, our combined attack disorienting and forcing the Splicers to focus their attention on us, giving Jerrus some time to recuperate.
[Action report continues for some time, before reaching a warning.]
*WARNING. REDACTED INFORMATION AT THE BEHEST OF VANGUARD COMMAND.*
Kraken-8 had suffered multiple injuries during the engagement, Veroksis had lost one of his secondary arms, myself having suffered a Wire burn from a Splicer Vandal in my upper Biceps Brachii and Coracobrachialis muscles, rendering my left arm inoperable till Horus could reattach the muscle groups and nerves once the firefight would end.
Fireteam Jerrus had been able to recuperate and cause significant disruption and damage to the Splicer forces. However the intense conflict had attracted the more elite forces within Archon's Forge, and the heavily augmented reinforcements sallied out and started to close in on our positions, not allowing either Fireteam to garner an advantage.
Kraken-8 had begun to show signs of either psychological duress, or her EXO frame had started (for lack of better terms) to glitch. Byte, Kraken's Ghost, was attempting to focus her back to the present but seemed unable to establish any connection with her. Without warning, Kraken froze up and her bio-metrics flat lined, before suddenly returning to the present as if nothing occurred. However her mannerism and voice had now,, changed.
[Attached here was a short series of still images, captured via the armor cams of Tez'sara as well as stills granted by Byte. They reveal a battered Kraken, her plate armor rent and torn in various points, parts of her under armor plus her mechanical skeleton. In the first images, Kraken is seen clutching at her head, her helm no where to be seen, and showing her usual amber and blue lighting. The after moments, revealed her lights now a deep bloodied red, her eyes distant and irises blown out to the max.]
The entity that was Kraken-8 seemed to have taken over by another sentience or programming, as Kraken now spoke in a purely synthetic tone, additionally lacked any emotional or instinctual thought process.
[An audio recording is attached here, only a few seconds, but enough to sink home to point Tez'sara attempts to make.]
// "W.A.R Program active. Gathering battlefield intel, topographical data, available assets, ammunition and ordinance counted. Processing. Processing. Completed. Assessment complete, objectives set. Unit 003, designation KRAKEN, tasked with fulfillment of Primary Objective, elimination of hostile entities. Commencing." //
Kraken, or whatever was in command of her chassis, proceeded to leave her cover and advance onto the Splicer forces, moving at a pace I had not witness her capable of in the past few decades. The agility and force required for what she accomplished that day,, I am assured in my assumption that she is unaware of what lays within her.
[The report has numerous record logs, both from Baroque and Jerrus, along with dozens of stills and cam recordings, displaying the ruthless mechanical tearing into the Splicer forces. The reports goes on to say that once the Eliksni were dealt with, the entity in control of Kraken had then attempted to attack Fireteam Jerrus, before being knocked out by Veroksis and restrained. A few notes had been appended to the report, by Zavala, Ikora,, and Shaxx.]
// Z: I want regular check-ups with Kraken-8 from now on, and no longer will she be sent onto high-risk zones until we can ascertain as to what we saw. This report will be classified until I give the clear. //
// I: I have not heard anything of this WAR Program before,, nor has any other Exo Guardian or Warlord displayed this manner of ability nor upgrade. I have sent my Hidden and Agents to scour for any information or clues to this,, however we are dealing with Clovis Bray technology, much of which has been lost to time. //
// S: This, is not the Kraken I know. Whether it is some Golden Age program or Vex manipulation,, I will personally tan their hide and atomize their twisted husk into oblivion. To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man. //
Many fitness enthusiasts don't know that the bicep muscle has two heads: a short head and a long head. Doing exercises for your long head bicep gives you that perfect bicep size. Getting deeper into exercises for the long head can improve your arm looks and increase your upper body strength. It's time to develop some huge bicep peaks!
Anatomy of the Bicep
To build the bigger and impressive biceps first, we needed to understand the anatomy and functionality of the biceps muscle. The biceps is one of four muscles alongside the brachialis, brachioradialis, and coracobrachialis muscles that make up the upper arm. The biceps brachii muscle (biceps) is a large, thick muscle of the upper arm. The Biceps Brachii is attached to the forearm bone called the radius and originates at the scapula in two heads. "Heads" simply means the muscle has different attachment points. In the case of the biceps, it is two, hence the 'bi' in bicep. Your biceps brachii has two heads: short (inner) and long (outer). - The long head is located along the outer side of the anterior upper arm. The long head comprises the majority of the biceps’ peak, - The short head is located along the inner side of the anterior upper arm. Whereas the short head sits on the inner side and contributes to the biceps’ width.
