The smell of coffee is one you're all too familiar with.

Alastor is a coffee addict lover, and drinks it every morning. Sometimes he'll have a cup or two after dinner.

You don't have any problems with it, having been surrounded by others in your living life with the same love for coffee.

So you'll buy coffee beans often just for him to enjoy. With the extra, you'll use it in your baking, making sure not to make his treats beyond his sweetness intake.

Tiramisu, crispy coffee cookies, mocha truffle cheesecake, and coffee 'n cream brownies. Alastor helps you with taste testing and thoroughly enjoys your coffee treats. Often kissing you between bites.

You don't mind having the taste off coffee on your lips. It may be a bit bitter but its something you've grown accustomed to with him.

One night you were craving for some coffee.

Alastor was sitting near the lit fireplace with a book in hand, coffee and coffee crisp cookies on the small table nearby.

You had just finished making more of his cookies to take to the hotel so he could enjoy during work when you felt in the mood for some caffeine. Looking over at the man in red, you saw he took a sip of his drink.

"Love.", you called out, walking over to stand before him. "Can I get some coffee?"

Looking up from his book, he gave a happy smile and set the hardcover down on the little table. "Why of course my darling! I'll get you a cup, have a seat-", he went to stand, pushing himself up with the armrests.

"No.", you placed a hand on his chest.

The deer demon was confused but let you push him back into his seat.

"I don't want a cup.", you said as you went to straddle his lap. "I want my coffee.", you cupped his chin and lifted his head up to meet your gaze.

Now Alastor was a man hard to fluster, but somehow you manage to make his cheeks redden.

"And where is your coffee?", he asked after taking a noticeable gulp.

You smiled and leaned in closer.

"Why, it's you hun.", you slid the hand on his chest up until you held his face with both of your hands. "Can I get some coffee?"

Moving his hands off the armrests, he held you close and nodded.

"Yes."

Starting off with a gentle kiss, you lean more onto him until you're chest to chest as you wrap your arms around his neck, getting a taste of the coffee not long after a few more kisses.

"Je serai ton café.", he said breathlessly against your lips. (I'll gladly be your coffee.)

"Look, it's not my fault you're gonna lose," Eddie said slyly, his chin rested on the palm of his hand.

Steve narrowed his eyes, very much ignoring Eddie's own brown eyes as they practically danced with mischief, freaking glittered with a challenge. Or maybe that was just the reflection of Christmas lights that Robin had hung up along each door frame in the Harrington house.

One of the many things that Steve had come to learn about Eddie was that he was competitive. Being a dungeon master should've been enough of an indicator, but as Eddie had become more a part of the crew, his competitiveness had become more evident. Unfortunately for Steve, the younger guy found them all -- from the shopping cart races to the surprise water gun fight -- really fucking endearing.

Even now -- especially now, as Eddie smirked up at him, smelling the proverbial blood in the water.

Or maybe "cream in the coco" would be more fitting, because the two of them were about to go head to head in the next installment of the most fearsome, epic, insane competition of the season: the Hot Chocolate War.

Many a competitor had been eliminated, thanks to the swift but fair judgment of one Nancy Wheeler. Dustin had lost to Lucas because the cinnamon had been too strong. Max had triumphed over Robin because of the peanut butter pretzel stirrer. But Steve had beaten Max because of a chocolate-covered strawberry, and Eddie had managed to barely scrape by El (who had beaten Will) with a dollop of cheesecake cream and crushed snickerdoodle.

This competition was fierce and elaborate. Steve's kitchen was covered in candies, different types of chocolate, milks, fruits, cookies -- anything and everything that could possibly pair well with chocolate was available.

This was war, and it just happened to be the final battle: Eddie vs Steve.

"It's not gonna be your fault, huh?" Steve asked, leading to Eddie shaking his head, eyes still glittering in a way that made Steve's stomach swoop. "Did you bribe the judge or something?"

"Might've tried to," he shrugged without a shred of remorse.

"I'm unshakeable," Nancy said proudly as she got resituated on her chair with the kids milling around behind her.

"But I have a plan," Eddie winked. "You'll see."

Steve hummed like a skeptic, unable to keep a smile from forming, which made Eddie's grow even larger. But Steve was competitive, too, and he had the advantage of having dated the judge once upon a time. He had a plan, too.

Then they set off.

The competition was simple, the winner determined by presentation and taste.

They both used the stove, opting to do it from scratch. Steve used whole milk, whereas Eddie used regular with half n half. The space was cramped as they both stirred a blend of chocolates into the simmering liquid.

"White chocolate with dark?" Eddie asked as he added semisweet and milk chocolates to his.

"Little bit of creamy sweet to counter the bitter," Steve said as he stirred.

"Oh, yes. Quite right. Of course," Eddie muttered with feigned impress before he playfully bumped into Steve's hip.

"You ass," Steve laughed, bumping him back before pulling his pot off the stove to whisk it vigorously.

They then set to work on assembly, their creations blocked from the other's view behind leftover pizza boxes, and then a handful of minutes later, the two presented their entries one at a time.

Steve's was gloriously rich with the whole milk, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate combo, and the half-melted candycane sticking out of it gave it a minty kick. The whipped cream was fresh and also minty, and the green sugar sprinkles on top made it all glitter like an ornament. He was confident. Mint was Nancy's favorite chocolate combination, as were the York peppermint patties straddling the rim of the mug. Nancy smiled brightly at it, bolstering Steve's confidence. He caught the knowing look Robin shot him, then smiled at the dreamy look her face melted back into when her gaze settled back onto Nancy.

And then Eddie revealed his, and Steve's stomach sank. "Oh, come on!" he whined as Nancy started to say, "Oh--"

...made her and everybody else cackle.

A layer of peanut butter and cheesecake mixture supported vertical pretzel sticks topped with more of the mixture, to which coconut pieces clung, creating an edible forest. The mug held a molten helping of milk and semi-sweet hot chocolate, adorned by a piece of broken chocolate chip cookie that had a dot of cheesecake and snowy whipped cream on it to anchor a red gummy bear wearing a caramel chip for a hat. Caramel drizzle crisscrossed the cookieless part of the mug, and more gummy bears were stuck to the side, too, as if they were climbing.

Eddie twisted happily with his hands clasped behind him as he drank in the laughter and calls of it being "sick" and "awesome" and "bitchin."

"Did you top that with salt?" Nancy asked him after she took a sip.

"Sure did," Eddie grinned directly at Steve.

"That's amazing," she praised, using a spoon to eat a piece of the cookie with the hot chocolate.

Eddie mouthed "amazing" at Steve, then winked. Steve just shook his head with a grin, wanting nothing more than to tackle the idiot and squeeze him until he popped.

"Sorry, Steve," Nancy said with big apologetic blue eyes. "You know how much I love mint and chocolate, but Eddie wo--"

Eddie didn't even wait for her to completely say it before he whooped loudly and pressed a loud "MWAH" to Nancy's hair.

"Now you get to make it for everybody," she continued.

Eddie's face fell, his eyes big and pleading and pointed right at Steve.

"Them's the rules," Steve and a Robin said at the same time as the kids dug into the pretzel trees.

"I'll help you out, though," Steve winked, bringing the glitter back to Eddie's eyes.

“Welcome to another come dine with me, todays chef will be the one and only Y/n Willows!” Chip did his voice over as clips of the video played. So today was the day you were cooking for the boys. You were excited yet nervous, you had critics who would minus a point for the smallest thing (he being Theo) but he wasn’t gonna stop you today!

You spoke to the camera “right so today is the day, I’m gonna kick everyone’s arses.” You added “with the help of Harry.” The camera zoomed out to reveal Harry standing next to you. You looked at Harry as he said “we are gonna win I know it!” You agreed. You looked at the camera “so todays menu!” The clip cuts you off revealing Calfreezy saying “the starter is some small wings and some garlic bread, sounds nice!” Cuts to Chip “yeah, sounds nice although will the garlic bread be homemade? Knowing Y/n it probably is.”

You looked towards Harry and spoke “right, so, Harry go grab the sauces and wings.” Harry walked over to the fridge and cupboards and did what he was told. You spoke “So right know I’m going to be making the garlic butter as I’ve made the dough yesterday.” You filmed yourself making garlic butter as the camera man filmed Harry smothering the sauces on the wings. Once he placed them into the oven, you heard a knock on your shears apartment’s door.

You looked at Harry “babe, can you get that and grab the drinks.” He smiled and nodded. As you placed the garlic bread into the oven more of the boys started to arrive.

Once your starter was done you played everything up and handed out the plates to everyone who was sat on the table.

You stood there as everyone took a bite and to see their faces be delighted by the flavours. Theo trying to be a proper critic asked “what sauces did you use?” You answered “I made them all last night, you have bbq, chilli and some tzatziki sauce on the side.” He nodded as the boys continued to dig in.

Once you had collected everyone’s plates you then went back into the kitchen to finish making the main course.

The video cuts to Randolph speaking “for dinner we’ll be having a 8oz steak with home cooked chips with steamed vegetables and garlic butter. Sounds fucking wonderful!” Clip cuts to Theo “yes I like the sound of this! Hopefully and most likely it will be better than Chip’s that’s for sure.” Clip cuts to Cal “I’ve lived with Y/n for years and I know full well she can cook a good steak. Like she’s toot tier steak cooker! If that makes any sense…”

As you and Harry were working away Harry decided to grab the flour for the dessert and throw a handful towards you. Leaving you covered in flour, you both burst out laughing. You said “Gosh Harry! That’s for desert, you dick!” He laughed and replied “made you laugh though didn’t it?” You smirked and playfully smacked his arm.

The main course didn’t take long as you prepared it before filming, as you walked into the dinning room Cal laughed “what the fuck happened in there?!” You rolled your eyes jokingly “Harry get his hands on the flour for the desert didn’t he.” The boys laughed as they watched as dinner was placed onto the table. Everyone was digging in and enjoying it, you and the boys were joking around and having conversations.

As everyone was finishing up their food you asked “is everyone still up for desert?” Everyone was nodding and replying with a “yes.” So you went to the kitchen and you walked into the kitchen and prepared to make the last dish of the night.

Clip cuts to Callux “for desert Y/n’s making cookies and cheese cake, it has and/or so I’m guessing we get to pick?” Clip cuts to Chip “I’ve had good cheesecake in my time so I’m hoping that Y/n can live up to those very expectations!”

You quickly walked back into the dinning room and asked “who wants cookies with ice cream and who wants cheesecake?” Theo asked “could I get cookies and ice cream please?” You nodded as Randy asks for the same. Everyone else wanted cheesecake, thankfully you had made the cheesecake earlier as it was now perfectly set. You quickly placed the homemade dough into the oven so the cookies were nice and warm for Theo and Randy.

You asked “Harry can you ask the boys if they want another drink?” He nodded and went back out to shortly return to the fridge and grab a few bottles and cans. As the cookies and such were in the making the boys had entertainment of a magician who was actually really good. You smiled as you could hear the boys laughing and enjoying themselves; the smell of cookies filled the kitchen as the timer went off. You placed the pan onto the counter. You scooped the ice cream onto the plate, then placing the nicely warmed cookies onto the plate. Now that desert was done and so was the entertainment, you walked out with the deserts in hand. Everyone seems happy to see the final dish to the evening.

Everyone was praising your good desert as you and Harry high-fived. You and Harry were proud of what you made.

The clip cuts to the boys giving you a score, Chip gives a 9, Randy gives a 8, Calfreezy gives a 8 so does Theo gave a 7 and Callux gave a 7.

when you first came abord the Merry, you escaped from a traumatic past with the Marines and since your mother was a pirate, you felt more safe with them then anyone. It took some time and a lot of patience to be back to your happy self again but you managed. The straw hats grew to be your family, and in Luffy, you found the comfort and happiness you have seem to lost so long ago.

Now, 2 years later after and in the new world, it was finally a calm day to relax. "Hello, Sanji", you said with a smile as you entered the kitchen. "MELLORINE!!!", sanji swooned to you, making you chuckle at his antics, as you were never mad at that. "what can I get you, my honorable Goddess~" "I just wanted to ask if I can make some dessert for later? I can cover you so you can go bathing", you smiled softly at him, your hands behind your back as Sanji froze. "Sanji?", you asked him as he came back from his trance. "why did this stupid rubber captain landed an literal Goddess?!" He looked so broken and hurt and she touched his shoulder. "Don´t worry, sanji. Somewhere is a woman who waits just for you, her shining prince!" "Do you mean it?", he looked at her with big eyes, lip almost quivering. "Yes! Believe me, ok? And if someone breaks your heart, she get her ass whoopin for a lifetime!", you said, determinated, as Sanji was so touched before he left the kitchen.

Standing behind the counter, you started to make a passion fruit cheesecake, when the door was burst open. "SANJI!!!", Luffy yelled loudly, arms outstretched. "Sanji is bathing, I´m making dessert, Lu" "Dessert?!", he began to shine and joined your side in a sec, arms wrapped tightly around your waist, his head resting on your shoulder while peeking at the cake with a soft drool. "It´s not ready yet", she said and turned your head to kiss his temple, making him whine. "But it looks so good! when is it done?" "In a couple of hours. The cream cheese must get more solid" "HOURS?! Je", he began to whine, making you laugh as you scooped a big portion with a fresh spoon, holding it out for him. His eyes began to shine before opening his mouth and you feed him, making him sparkle. "So good!!!" "Yeah?" "mmh! More!" "When I have something over, ok?" "buh...", he pouted, burried his nose into your neck, making you laugh. "Je, pls...mmh~ for me" "No. Later" "But you´re always weak to me!" "Yes, I know nut I need to stand my ground", you admitted and looked everywhere besides your boyfriend, who used his stretching to an unfair advantage. "Your devil Fruit won´t work on me" "What if I pay you with kisses?" "Lu", you began to whine, knowing how much you loved to kiss his cheek and vice versa.

In that moment, the door opened and Robin came in. "Oh? Am I interrupting you two?", she chuckled. "Robin, tell Je she should give me her cake now" "No. The cream has to sit, like I said" "Je!", Luffy began to protest as Robin chuckled again. "Luffy? Franky said he has to show you something that you´d like" "really?!", he beamed and dashed out, as you quickly finished the cake and stored it away. "Robin, you´re a lifesaver! What would you like? Tea, Coffee?" "Oh, the coffee you make from the passion beans I´d like" "It would be my pleasure", you smiled and went to work, as Robin watched you. "Right, Nami asked for a cup of fennel tea and some of your cookies for a break" "I got it covered", you smiled and presented Robin her coffee.

It was later after you gave Nami her tea, and Sanji being back in the kitchen, you strolled on deck as "NO-JE!", you turned around but too slow, causing Luffy to crash fully into you, sending you flying over the deck, almost hitting the wall before you began to laugh loudly, since his hands were on your tickleish spots, making him grin and abuse you to the point you wheezed with laughter and he finally stopped. "Oh...hah...you...he...get revenge" "If you catch me!", he laughed and jumped up, running away as you heard him laughing, and you running behind it. It was an endless game of chase until you sneaked around and tackled him down the slide into the grass. Both of you laughing as you made him room to sit up, causing you to cup his cheeks and kiss him. He went directly silent and you pulled away, your thumb gliding over his cheek in a gentle movement. "Je" "Yes?" "Why do you never stretch my skin?" "Why? Well, because I fell for you and not your devil fruit", you simply said and looked at him with so much love, you swore his cheeks went slightly pink. Taking one of your hands, he placed it over his heart as you could feel the beat. "Is this normal? Whenever you kiss me, and especially look at me like I am some kind of tasty meat, my hearts beats like crazy!" "It´s normal, yes. Nothing is wrong with your heart" "Is yours beating also like this?" "yes. But don´t touch me. If Nami or Sanji sees that-" In one swift movement, you were trapped in his arms, face burried in your hair. "Mine! You´re mine!" "Luffy, until we draw our last breath, I´ll always be yours", you looked into his eyes before sealing your lips in a gentle kiss, almost like a breeze so fleeting did your lips touch. "Sometimes you´re sweet as candy" "You mean like the one time to tried to bite my cheek after you said I smell good?", you chuckled at him, brushing your nose against his. "No...like when we kiss, it feels right! Like so sweet you can´t get enough. Or when you hug me. It feels so safe! Like I´m wrapped in a soft blanket, knowing no one can hurt me...NOW I GET IT!", he looked straight at you, "Chopper and the rest said you´re like an angel! are you one?! Can you fly?!", he beamed and you simply laughed, standing up. "Who knows~" "Je! Come on, tell me!" "hmm~ a mystery should be a mystery", you only hummed and walked away, as Luffy walked behind you, demanding an answer, which only made you smile
