summary: spencer had a hard choice to make, but when you're a variable in the decision, it's not much of a choice.

blood was dripping down your head. you were taking hit after hit to your entire body from the man standing in front of you. no noise was registering, meaning you didn't hear the door infront of you break open.

nothing was going through your head. that is aside from the pain surging through you. your wrists were tied above your head and your feet barely reached the ground.

your vision was blurry, but it wasn't too blurry to see spencer infront of you. no matter how bad something was, it was never too bad that it got to the point where you couldn't register spencers face.

seeing him was like it brought you back to life. "y/n," he spoke in a calming tone, "morgan can you-" before he could even finish his sentence, derek was undoing the cuffs above your head.

spencers hands were placed firmly on your waist, and when you were finally released he picked you up bridal style. your arms instinctively wrapped around his neck. small whimpers leaving your mouth. "shh, shh. y/n, its alright. i've got you." he did have you. he always had you.

you woke up to pain in your abdomen, and a pounding headache. more importantly, you woke up to spencer reid by your side. "hey, hey. you feeling alright?"

"i've been better." you tried to laugh, but it became more of a cough halfway through.

"right."

"what happened?" you questioned. you remembered some of it.

"well, uhm. the unsub got you, and he took you to a warehouse. we found you, i shot him. he died. that's it." your heart sunk. spencer reid didn't kill unless it was a last resort.

"spence im so-"

"shush. it's okay. anyone would've done it, including you." he took a deep breath. "i did what i had to do."

you felt like shit. "i didn't mean to put you in a position where you had to make that choice."

"y/n/n, listen to me." he whispered moving to sit next to you. "he had you, and he was gonna kill you. there was never a choice to make."

You noticed early on how much effect it had on Spencer when you'd take over control and playfully call him good boy in the bedroom. When he finally opens up about his desires, you make sure that he feels safe enough to tell you about everything he yearns for.

He wants nothing more than to be able to stop thinking and just be there to please you. More than once has he fallen down to his knees to practically beg you to let him forget everything but you.

He is very good at listening and following your demands. You reward him with endless praise, telling him how amazing he does and how pretty he looks with his widened eyes and his cheeks all rosy.

He loves when you take control over his pleasure, edging him for what feels like hours until he begs you to allow him to finish. In those moment when he seems so pitiful and pathetic and all his moans have turned into whimpers and sobs, you truly know how much Spencer trusts you to always take care of him.

He loves to be good for you, to do everything you ask him to. The only thing his struggles with is patience, he's always a little bit too eager (or desperate). But he knows that you'd only ever punish him in ways that are very pleasurable for the both of you.

When you have him at the point where any coherent thought has long left his brain, you like to tease him about it. It amazes you how it only takes a few moments to turn him from a boy wonder to your personal good boy.

After making him fall apart all night you love nothing more but to carefully put him back together again. You like to hold him inside your arms, his head on your chest, while you whisper sweet nothings into his soft curls. In those moments he craves your touch more than anything else in the world.

Even when he's all spent and exhausted his will to please doesn't stop, so he doesn't question it when you tell him to have a glass of water and some snacks or to get into the shower with you.

He can also be stubborn at times, insisting that it's his job to provide aftercare, too. So more often than not you end up taking care of one another, making each other feel loved and safe.

You let out a sigh as you tossed your bag on the table when you got home. You made your way to the living room before your attention was drawn to the dishwasher— more specially the fact that it wasn’t unloaded. You cursed quietly as you plopped down on the couch, annoyed at JJ since this wasn’t the first time he forgot to do his chores at your shared house. Just as you were about to text him, you heard JJ rushing down the stairs like an excited puppy, happy to hear that you had arrived home.

“There’s my girl!” he said with excitement, coming up to hug you but you swiftly pushed him away. He gazed at you confusedly before his facial expression shifted to one of realisation as he looked over your shoulder and noticed the dishwasher.

“Shit, I’m sorry, I-“ “So what’s the excuse gonna be this time, JJ? I’m so fucking sick of it” you spat out with more annoyance than you normally would. It had been a very long day and you simply couldn’t deal with anything right now.

You got up from the couch and made your way to your shared bedroom as JJ stood motionless, unsure of what do to. You were well aware this wasn’t the right moment to argue, given your state of exhaustion and your desire to avoid letting your emotions get the better of you.

From your peripheral view, you could see JJ following you upstairs, causing you to let out a deep sigh as you tried your hardest not to snap at him— but you lost all control when he grabbed your arm.

“I swear to god JJ! I’ve already asked you, what, five times to do the chores this week? Can’t you do anything in this house?” you snapped at him. You felt your anger intensifying when he gazed at you with a slight smirk on his face as he bit his lip.

“Seriously? Are you enjoying this?” you asked, your brows furrowed while he eyed you up and down. “No. But you look hot when you’re angry. Kinda scary, yes. But very, very hot” before you had the chance to react he abruptly lifted you by grabbing your thighs and encircling your legs around his muscular torso. Your breathing quickened as he kissed your neck and pushed your back against the wall.

“There is one thing I can do, baby.” he whispered, sucking on your earlobe as his hot breath on your skin sent shivers down your spine. “How many times did you say you had to ask me, sweetheart?” “Uh-uhm… 5 times, J” you stammered, feeling yourself lose control as he continued nibbling on your neck and marking you with hickeys.

“I see, I see… I’ll make it up to you, pretty girl.” with each kiss on your neck, you felt the anger inside you subside. “I’ll give you an orgasm for each time you had to ask me” he whispered in your ear as his hands squeezed your ass.

“B-but-“ “No buts. Gonna make you feel so good, baby. From now on I’m only gonna make you scream my name in pleasure”

"Not a fan of flying?" The voice of Spencer Reid made the girl jump, as if she wasn't shaky enough due to the ongoing turbulence. "Uh, just a bit." She tried to laugh to hide how scared she was, but who was she kidding? She was in an enclosed space, 30,000 feet in the air with a bunch of profilers.

There was no hiding her undeniable fear of flying.

"You know, it's not bad. There's less to worry about flying than there is driving." The girl looked up at him in curiosity, urging him to continue. "I mean, what we really need to worry about are microbursts - a sudden downburst of air associated with thunderstorm. But a small aircraft like this, if we hit one of those at the wrong altitude," he stops, mimicking an explosion with his fist and mouth, making Y/N tighten her seatbelt more than it already was, practically squeezing her stomach against her ribs.

"Alright, I think she gets it." Derek pats Spencer on the back, and Reid moves his eye contact from Derek to Y/N, now noticing how scared she looked.

"Oh, gosh, uh, I'm so sorry. Usually my facts don't scare you that bad." He joked. "Spence, it's okay. Usually your facts aren't about things I'm deathly afraid of." She jokes back, cracking a light smile. "Why don't you tell me something else?" Spencer lights up at this, thanking the universe he finally got a chance to spew some random fact that had been stored up in his genius brain for who knows how long.

"The praying mantis can kill and eat a multitude of creatures but the most interesting fact is that oftentimes the female mantis engages in sexual cannibalism, meaning she’ll bite off the head of her mate once copulation is complete, sometimes even during intercourse, actually."

Y/N looked at the man in disbelief. "Huh. I had no idea, that's... strangely interesting." She laughs softly. "I guess I know I can always count on you for weird facts, huh?" Spencer nodded excitedly, thankful someone actually wanted to hear him talk about the random things his brain stores.

So, that's what he did. He spent the rest of the flight from Virginia to California telling Y/N random facts to keep her distracted from her surroundings.

It’s me again 😇, i said i was doing one every month and i meant it. (Hopefully this will spark some of you to make a post like this too). Hi! It’s me again, i’ve done this for about five months now i think (can’t really remember) Basically i’m here to remind you how much you writing means to all of us. Writing is fun to do and it should always be something you do because you love it, and we love it too!! I read very often it’s probably what i do all day most days. I truly truly do appreciate all you guys do for us readers! You don’t have to write but you do and it means a lot. It’s really wonderful that you all work to expand on what we were all originally given. You all do such good work at making us feel through your fics. I’ve laughed and cried and felt like i’ve lived through hundreds of lives through your work. You are all super amazing ♥️♥️♥️

Most of us write for fun because it’s honestly amazing to put out fanfics for us and you all and it means so much when you show your support by commenting or re-blogging or doing both just so we all know you like our work!!!

summary: you call peter, peter, and he spirals.

you were lying down on the couch reading a book you had just picked up from the library when peter walked in. it was perfect timing because your phone was in the kitchen, and you hadn't wanted to get up yet. so when he walked past the kitchen counter, you requested softly, "hey, peter! can you grab me my phone?"

the boy could have sworn his heart was in his throat, "what?" he mumbled out, his voice shaky.

you were confused at his confusion, but repeated yourself anyway, "my phone? it's right there. could you grab it?" you pointed to the counter to guide him.

"uh, yeah, sure." he spoke slightly louder this time, but not much. he walked over to your spot on the couch and handed it to you, still confused. you finally made eye contact with him, and before you could say anything, he spoke up, "everything alright, sweetheart?"

you nodded, tilting your head. "yes, handsome. i was just about to ask you the same thing."

peter was still looking at you as if you had torn out his heart. "are we alright?" he asked, sitting at the end of the couch next to your feet. he gently placed his hand on your knee and used his thumb to rub back and forth.

squinting at him, you closed your book and sat up. "why wouldn't we be?" you asked, your heart speeding up.

"did i do something wrong?" peter asked, worried.

you were more confused now than you ever have been in your life. "what are you going on about?" you questioned.

the boy shook his head, like he was about to say the most stupid thing in the whole world, "you just called me peter."

"what? that's what has you all freaked out? i called you by your name?" you asked adorningly. he only nodded in response. "my poor baby. i said your name. it won't happen again, i swear."

your boyfriend knew you were mocking him, "okay, okay. i get it, it's dumb." he mumbled.

"it's not dumb, pete- oh sorry," you kissed your teeth, teasing him some more. "it's cute.."

his face was red as a tomato, "im glad you think so. now, i demand to be called baby right this second."

you moved to sit on his lap, placing a million chaste kisses along his jaw, whispering a ’baby’ in between each one.

Spencer taking care of his partner on their period

Spencer is the absolute sweetest when it comes to taking care of you. The first time he notices you being uncomfortable on your period he makes it very clear that there is nothing to be embarrassed about. He encourages you to tell him about all your symptoms - it won't freak him out.

He makes it his priority to be there for you and plan activities accordingly. All you want to do is watch Disney movies and eat snacks? He's right by your side.

Of course he did all the research about what is proven to help with cramps. He offers you things like a heating pad, tea and nuts.

He's always affectionate but especially so when you're on your period (because he knows you crave it). He loves to cuddle up with you and just hold you when you're feeling down. With a little back rub or just stroking your hair he makes everything better.

He would never judge you or make snarky remarks about you being moody. Even when you're not sure if you'd rather laugh or cry (or do both at the same time) he is always so patient.

In case you stain your clothes or the sheets he insists on taking care of it.

Spencer makes sure he has tampons and pads at his place too so he's prepared when you sleep over and get your period.

He would never admit it but he does track your cycle so he knows when to stock up on your favorite snacks.

It's also important to him to encourage you to do some light exercise like taking a walk together.

He's happy to run you a warm bath or get into the shower with you. Just keeping you as close as possible at all times.

And if you're comfortable with it, he also finds more creative ways to relieve your cramps (after all, he did his research).

hey guys!! it's been a long few months that i've been gone (i can’t remember when exactly i started being inactive but that’s not the point) and i've been missing this hellsite so much in the time that i’ve been gone. there wasn’t ever really a reason for me going ia all of the sudden but what i do know is that my mental state definitely needed a longer break from here, and while i'm still not in the best place mentally i still wanted to hop back on here and give a bit of an update on my life and my blog and try to be a bit more active like i used to be.

writing and the future of this blog —

as i mentioned before, i haven't been in the best mental state lately but i’ve decided i want to try and come back here and start writing again! i love writing and i think getting back into it and getting into the groove of things here would help me out some. now with that being said, i’ll be going through who i write for and updating things, unfortunately this also means a new taglist most likely but if you’d rather i have a writing sideblog where i reblog all of my fics so if that’s more your thing go ahead and follow it @rodrickhefley !! i’ll still be writing for and posting about hockey so don’t worry about that, but i also want to try writing for other things (such as ted lasso, star wars, scream, avatar, hotd, etc.)  i have a few things up my sleeve at the moment but none are quite ready to see the light of day unfortunately. i’m hoping to gain some new, active mutuals from this as well :). i’m gonna be trying out some different formats for my fics so when there’s inconsistencies please ignore that! i’ll also be doing some social media aus / insta posts again!! with all of this being said, i've decided to either post all of the requests that are currently sitting in my inbox so that another writer can take over and write it or delete them all. i may or may not keep a few depending on if i feel inspired by them or not but we’ll see what i decide:) (poll maybe??)

personal life — 

my life has been an absolute rollercoaster of events since about mid april i’d say? ever since then i’ve been so incredibly busy and haven’t had a moment of peace honestly but now that i’ve got more time i’m back!!! i turned eighteen back in july, woohoo!! so i’ve been trying to figure out how to navigate life as a real adult now. it’s been going somewhat okay, i’m not in college at the moment (won’t dive too deep into this bc it’s so scary but i’ll have plenty of time to write fics so ;) ). part of my absence here was caused by the fact that i started getting really active on twitter, where i went through so much shit but also made a pretty good friend group!! a few days back i took a trip and saw arctic monkeys in concert (i had tickets for over a year and it was well worth it) . it was such a fantastic show!!! i’ve not got much of an update other than that so if you enjoyed my rambling and made it this far thank you sm. i’ve missed it here <3. 

also, not sure when this happened but thank you all sm for 1.8k followers?? that’s so crazy to me but it means so much <33

can i make a request for remus lupin where him and reader are dating but she doesnt know that hes a werewolf, and so she thinks hes cheating. she then asks the boys (sirius and james) and they dont tell her and so she’s properly convinced hes cheating, then the day before the full moon she confronts him and it causes a huge argument and then the next day (fullmoon) she goes for a midnight stroll to clear her head and remus attacks her. can u make the whole thing really angsty but fluffy and happy ending at the end? if u need any more info or anything just dm me! thank you!!

all of it was becoming too much. normally, you didn't care when your boyfriend had friends over. it wasn't usual, though. he kept to himself most of the time. so, when you came home from an already bad day and peter had friends over, you were upset. not at him, never at him.

peter immediately noticed your presence, standing up from the chair he was sitting in to greet you. he placed a kiss on your hairline, "hey, baby."

you smiled, trying to cover the exhausted look on your face. "hi," short and flat, "im gonna go shower, see you in a bit." you walked away, and his face twisted in confusion.

your shower didn't wash off the bad day whatsoever. if anything, it made it worse. when you stepped out of the shower and put on your clothes, there was a knock on the door, "can i come in?" it was peters voice. you couldn't find your voice, so you only unlocked the door as a response. he opened it gently, "you alright?" the boy questioned.

you nodded, but you knew there was no chance he would believe you, so you corrected yourself quickly, "just a long day."

his features were still laced with concern, "okay, well, everyone left. i figured we could just watch a movie if you want to," peter suggested but saw the hesitation in your eyes, "we don't have to, i was just thinking about watching tangled or something."

your eyes lit up, "really?"

"of course." he grabbed your hand, "want some hot chocolate? i got some more whipped cream earlier."

"yes, please." you nodded, "im sorry i was being rude earlier."

he looked shocked, "you weren't being rude. you just had a bad day. i made everyone leave after you got in the shower, even reheated your chinese from last night."

you felt like you could cry. "i love you."

"i love you so much more, pretty."
