Everything You Need to Know About Crystals: Chrysoprase

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Requested by @acovenoftwo
Chemical Formula:  SiO2
Color: Apple green, lemon
Rarity: Easy to obtain as a tumble stone, finer quality is expensive
Hardiness: 7
Type: Chalcedony
Chakra Association: Heart and Solar Plexus
Deities: Venus
Birthstone: May
Astrological Signs: Gemini, Taurus
Element: Water

Origin: Formerly Poland, Now Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, Russia, Tanzania, USA
Powers: Encouraging development, Compassion, Tolerance, Growth, Forgiveness, Connection to Nature
Crystals It Works Well With: Mountain “jade”, Tourmaline, Smokey Quartz
How It is Created: Chrysoprase is a type of chalcedony quartz with a microcrystalline structure. Its color comes from nickel deposits, and it can be found in pale shades through to brighter green. Raw pieces have a granular appearance, similar to pieces of coconut, and a waxy sheen when polished.
History: Chrysoprase, called Stone of Venus because in antiquity it represented the goddess of divine love, the famous Venus, is a magnificent apple-green nickeliferous chalcedony belonging to the family of microcrystalline quartz. The ancient Egyptians also used chrysoprase for practical purposes such as sealing letters, but they would also wear pendants, amulets and other jewelry made of chrysoprase. For hundreds of years, the only major source of chrysoprase was a region of southwestern Poland between the Czech Republic and Germany, formerly known as Lower Silesia. This area has a complex geology and is extremely rich in all kinds of mineral deposits, including gold, silver, serpentine, quartz, marble, granite, alabaster—and chrysoprase. Stone artifacts from as far back as the Iron Age show the long history of Silesian carving and masonry. In the eighteenth century, Frederick II, King of Prussia (now part of Germany), conquered Lower Silesia. In particular, he wanted its deposits of green chrysoprase, which he used to decorate the halls of his favorite palace at Potsdam near Berlin.
What It Can Do:
Known as the healer of the heart space and helps connect you with infinite supply of compassion and love
Supports cardiac health and provides a centered peace
Helps people suffering from melancholy and manifests optimism and joy
Can be placed by homegrown herbs and vegetables to boost production
Perfect to artist as it increases creativity and talent
Encourages fidelity, forgiveness, compassion, and nonjudgmental thinking in relationships, while banishing greed and selfishness
Helps with inducing deep meditative states and promotes the love of truth
Calming and nonegotistical, creating openness in new situations
Stimulates fluent speech and mental dexterity, preventing you from speaking out unthinkingly in anger
Lifts oppressive and recurrent images, preventing nightmares, especially in children
Is said to detoxify heavy metals in one’s body and stimulate liver function
Is said to enhance fertility, reverse effects of infertility that are caused by infection and guard against STIs
Increases the absorption of Vitamin C
How to Get the Best Out Of: Wear as a necklace, bracelet, earrings or even use it in an elixir. Carrying chrysoprase for long periods attunes to the devic realm, a band of frequency found present on Earth which can connect you to nature and the planet directly
How to Cleanse and Charge: Can be cleansed briefly under running water then recharged overnight among a host of rock crystals for a few weeks. Cleanse during a rain shower for optimized cleansing,
Crystal Grid:
Healing for Children (Nightmares)

• 6 “issue” or calming stones
• 4 grounding crystals
• 2 light-bringing crystals

Planetary Correspondences for the Sun The planetary energy of the Sun is stimulating and warm. It encourages growth and expansion as well as general good feelings all around. It may be used for magick related to the growth of anything; career, family, public influence, wealth, the garden, friendships, love, general abundance, employment opportunities, business. Because the Sun shines down on the whole world, and thus sees everything that happens, the Sun’s planetary energy is occasionally used to find objects as well as to protect us from deception or being “kept in the dark”. Looking at the Sun’s universality in a different way, this energy can be used to find a common thread (we’re all warmed by the same Sun) to encourage new friendships and partnerships and reconciliation where existing ones are threatened, especially in political arenas. Many things that correspond to the planetary energy of the Sun also correspond to the elemental energy of Fire. Healing The sun is associated with the heart, circulatory system, the spinal cord, and the thymus gland. Solar Minerals Metal Gold Crystals/Stones Yellow, red and particularly bright, shiny crystals and stones tend to correspond to the energy of the Sun. Diamond, ruby, chrysolite, yellow topaz, citrine, red garnet, chrysoprase, and amber- fossilized tree sap said to contain the energy of the Sun as metabolized by the tree. Corundum and yellow Tiger’s Eye show sparkling designs that remind one of the sun and of course, there is sunstone. Crystals and metals that correspond to the planetary energy of the Sun can be worn, carried or placed on the body to encourage healing or to draw planetary energies ruled by the sun, such as abundance to the individual. They may also be used to create a gem elixir and ingested, assuming they do not contain toxic materials. Crystals can be placed in a location to draw the desired energies to your home, place of business or vehicle as desired, placed on the altar, held or gazed upon to enhance energies being raised during spellwork or other focusing and manifesting exercises. Solar Plants and herbs Plants that resemble the sun in shape or color, that open during the day and close at night, that follow the sun’s movements during the day, and those plants that are traditionally associated with the winter solstice as well as those that provide winter nourishment when fresh plants are unavailable, such as grains and nuts. Physically, edible Sun plants tend to encourage a feeling of warm satisfaction and medicinal plants affect the heart. Galactic Sun Center Talon Abraxas

FAE COURTS
This is only a small portion of known Fae courts, so please acknowledge that there’s far more than just this. Be careful with the Fae, and stay educated on them.
Spring Court
Very cheerful faeries who celebrate life in all its forms. They are the most inclined to pull pranks, though these could potentially turn dangerous when they fail to realize how fragile non-fae are. They love flowers and spread happiness and joy. They enjoy dancing and prefer not to think about death at all, and the other courts often see them as naive. Polite, seductive and curious.
Summer Court
Well-mannered and polite, though not as cheerful as the spring court. Not afraid of death, but wishes to enjoy life anyways. Smart, but not conceited. Will punish those who harm and insult them, but are not prone to kill or torture unless they’re absolutely furious. They prefer to respect life rather than take it away.
Autumn Court
Mysterious and strange yet very beautiful. They view death as a natural part of life, and do not understand the hate and fear surrounding it. They are not conceded, but do hold grudges when wronged. When disrespected, they become very cruel, often cursing or torturing those who fail to respect them for their own amusement. The autumn court, however, does give the best gifts and boons out of all the courts. When respected, they will show that courtesy right back. Those on their good side are very fortunate.
Winter Court
Hearts of ice, both figuratively and literally. Expect death when dealing with them, as they do not care for life and only focus on decay. They are cruel, and proud of it. Threatening, dark and eerie. Hates mortal creatures, and thinks other courts are weak. They gain amusement from their own cruelty.
Seelie and Unseelie
The general idea is that Seelie are good, holy and pure. Unseelie are considered unholy, tainted and evil. Spring and Summer could be considered Seelie, while Autumn and Winter could be considered Unseelie. While these definitions seem blunt, the reality is not as clear-cut. Unseelie can be kind and take in mortals to provide for them (though they probably consider them “pets” more than anything), while Seelie can play evil pranks without realizing how harmful they can be, and they definitely won’t apologize for it. These terms are complicated, and every Fae is as unique as a snowflake. However, these definitions still might be useful for getting a general idea of how to interact with the Fair Folk.
Tumblr media
FAERIE CONDUCT
Whatever you do, don’t be rude to them. Fae are old and powerful creatures, and will take revenge if hurt or insulted. Avoid being nosey when it comes to faerie business, be gracious when accepting gifts or blessings they give you, and never approach them with iron on your person.
Do not lie, as fae can sense truth and will punish liars. Also remember to always keep your promises to them, they expect diligence in others.
Do not say sorry, thank you, or accept any gifts from them. This means you become in debt to the fae, and that is a very bad thing to be. Say “I appreciate this” or something like it instead.
Do not give them your real name. That gives them power over you. You should give them a nickname, alias or title instead.
Do not mention any children, infants or loved ones to them. The Fae love kids, but they have a tendency to steal them and put one of their own in their place. They will also cause misfortune upon your loved ones if mistreated, so it’s best not to mention them at all.
Do not provoke them or invade their space
Don’t call them “the fae” or “fairies” to their face. Say “fair folk” or “good neighbors” instead
Ask if something is a gift or a contract. If it’s a gift, it may be considered rude to not take it
Do not dance with them or accept food or drink from them. This usually ends with you dancing until you die, or being forever tied and abducted into the fae realm.
Mind your words. The Fae are masters of trickery, they’re naturally mischievous in nature. They take things very literally, and even if you don’t break any of these rules explicitly, they could misconstrue your words and mess up a request. Choose your words VERY carefully, especially when asking for help.
Tumblr media
How to tell if Faeries are nearby:
Feeling warm tingles across your skin
Things go missing and reappear elsewhere in your home
You see things out the corner of your eyes
You find yourself wanting to participate in childish activities like swinging and skipping
Random floral scented breezes
You have a habit of bringing nature inside
You find yourself wanting to save insects instead of killing them when you find them inside
Faerie circles
You are followed by crows and ravens
Increased animal activity
Shimmers in the air
You hear mysterious giggling
You find large patches of clovers
Tumblr media
Faerie Garden Ideas
Thyme is often used for Faerie communication
Heather marks the resting place of faeries
Alyssum is useful in faerie gardens
Buttercups, Columbines, Dianthus/Sweet William, Hollyhock, Jasmine, Peony, Primrose and Rosemary are associated with faeries and are known to invite them
Hawthorn is sacred to faeries, so don’t mess with Hawthorn trees
Hummingbirds and Rabbits are associated with Faeries, so having them in your garden is a good thing
Tumblr media
NOTES
Many fae are not humanoid or traditionally “cute”. Do not be alarmed if you see one and it’s not what you expected
Most fae are much larger than you think too
If fae are in your house, they probably won’t hurt you. They likely believe it’s just as much their house as it is yours
Appliances will randomly stop working. Don’t worry about it
Do NOT hurt the spiders and bugs
They will interact with your pets and animals
Do not accept any items from Fae unless it’s explicitly stated to be a gift
If you write about your experiences with them, they may try and stop you. In which case you should stop, since you’re sharing too much about them
When it’s 3AM and you randomly feel bursts of energy, the desire to dance and be productive, you’ve been faeriestruck. This is normal
Play music with constant rhythms for them
Always thank plants when plucking flowers and leaves
Your fae will eventually learn things about you, especially if they live in your house. Do not panic
Befriend your fae or they will never stop bothering you. Just be careful

Tumblr media
Ball/Sphere: Crystal that is shaped into a ball from a larger piece of crystal…quartz crystals rarely occurs naturally as a sphere. The Sphere is associated with Harmony, scrying, even energy all around.
Crystal Pyramid: Manifestation, intently focused energy. prosperity.
A crystal shaped like a pyramid, it has four equal triangular sides that meet to a point with a flat square base. It’s effective for amplifying energy. *Egyptian used the pyramids to send the pharaoh's soul straight to the gods. Crystal Generators and Obelisks are 2 shapes that are often confused with one another, just count the number of sides. A generator has six equal sides and an Obelisk has four. Generators, Obelisks and Pyramids are great shapes to direct/amplify energy. Better used in crystal grids, as it will amplify/boost energy.
Crystal Wands: Healing and rituals, moving/directing energy.
Crystal wands have many uses, they can be used for massage therapy (eg a massage wand), acupressure and reflexology. They can also be used to direct energy in a certain direction, draw negative energy away from you and to activate crystal grids. Crystal wands can be used for chakra healing.
Crystal Eggs: Balance, Fertility, healing
The pointed end of an egg shaped crystal is often used by practitioners of acupressure, reflexology and massage. Similar to spheres, crystal eggs are a great shape to hold whilst meditating. Crystal eggs represent fertility, birth and new beginnings.
Cluster: A group of crystals growing together having many points and sharing the same base clusters rapidly radiate energy in all directions. The cluster radiates energy, meditation and unity.
Crystal Cube: consolidates energy, grounding and meditation, connects to the energy of the earth.
Tumbled: Gentle, constant energyRaw: Strong, Sporadic, pure energy.Double Terminated/Twin: Receives and emits energy transmits informationPalm: Grounding, healing, “Worry stone.”
Isis: Feminine energy, healing emotional, hurt and distress.Geode: Amplifies, conserves and releases energy, internal healing.
Crystal Heart: Sends love across time and space.Crystal Points, Generators and Obelisks: Energy amplifier, six facets
There are 219 Crystals [And I do not have the time or energy to go over ALL of them when we Wiccans can’t use/afford that many, and so we’ll only cover the basics/most used Crystals.
So other than Shapes that signify the ‘power’ of the crystal, what about a specific use? So here is a list of most common crystals that I have seen, that was recommended by other witches or popped up in my readings.
Amethyst | Azurite  | Ametrine  | Aquamarine  |  Agate  |  Amazonite  | Bloodstone  |  Beta  |  Black Obsidian  |   Bismuth  | Chinese writing rock, chrysoprase, Chrysoprase, Citrine, Clear Quartz,  Dream Quartz, Danburite, diamond, Dalmation Stone Fluorite. | Garnet. @hana-akari | Sakura — Closed starter
Time was a cruel mistress. As the years advanced, Sasuke hardly paid her any mind. The foray of youth felt like an eternity while the dull routine of adulthood passed with little greeting. It was this way since the start of the century when he had turned 30 human years old. His inhuman mind started to separate itself from the normalcy of this human world with the realization that he will sit in this stagnant phase for the next several centuries, should the devil help it.
It was by all means a perfect, natural system for the unnatural and that all changed when Sasuke became shackled by his pity. Enraptured by the silk strands of orchid-colored hair and pure chrysoprase eyes like a sinner at the foot of the altar. Time halted in its tracks and did not move an inch, forcing this Uchiha astray without instinct nor impulse to guide him.
“Here” was all he said in the bright hours of early morning. A sizeable, rounded case laid flat against his chest. One that made a hollow sound whenever his hands tapped over it as he lowered it to the floor.
On the account of the several physical notes he had taken of the woman, he surmised she would be awake by now. It was the first thing he would check every morning; eyes seeking the rise and fall of her chest and ears keen for the wet thump of her heart. Sasuke was never too sure how well concealed he had kept her from the rest, loathing the day his family were to come across his guilty secret and punish her for it.
Pushing terrific thoughts away, he focused back on this warm-bodied adult trapped in his room (for the mean time). “Good morning,” he said after a pause, remembering the small spat they had earlier about his... undignified nature and lack of proper greetings.

How Beautiful Heaven Must Be
:: By Dennis Huebshman   Published on:  August 20, 2022
John 14:1-3; “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; also believe in Me. In My Father’s house there are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also” (ESV – all emphasis mine).
If we could see every beautiful sight this earth contains, we would most likely see ornate cities; lavish castles; beautiful majestic mountains; beautiful wooded areas; rivers; lakes; streams and oceans; and all could be very breathtaking. However, even the most beautiful sight on this earth will pale when compared to what our eternal Home in Heaven will be like.
How the apostles John and Paul could get a glimpse of this magnificent beauty and then come back to this earth to live out the balance of their lives is beyond me. It is my firm belief that when we finally experience the glory of our Heavenly Home, nothing could convince us to return here except to serve our Lord in the Millennial Reign.
The last two chapters of Revelation try to give descriptions that we can attempt to understand. Even so, no matter how descriptive John is, I don’t believe there are adequate adjectives available for us to truly visualize the majesty, splendor, glory, and beauty of what true believers will witness.
First and foremost, we will finally get to see our Heavenly Father on His throne and our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, seated at His right hand. There will be no evil of any kind in our new Home. The old heavens and earth will have passed away. John spoke of a “New Jerusalem” coming down from Heaven for us to dwell in. What the exact location will be, we are not given, but just the size of the City will be more than adequate for all to live there who were saved while on this earth.
The measurements given are in “furlongs” or “stadia” and cubits, but it breaks down that the City is approximately 1,500 miles long, 1,500 miles wide, and 1,500 miles high, with walls approximately 12 feet thick (Revelation 21:16).
As for splendor, the walls are built of pure jasper, and the City is pure gold like clear glass. The wall foundations are adorned with twelve different jewels; jasper, sapphire, agate, emerald, onyx, carnelian, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth, and amethyst. I have to admit, there are a couple of these I am anxious to see what they actually look like (Revelation 21:18-20).
There are twelve gates to the City, and each is made up of a single pearl with streets of gold that are so pure that they appear to be transparent like glass (Revelation 21:21).
We must remember that time as we know it was created at the beginning of earth’s history by God for our purposes (Genesis 1:3-5). He created the seasons and days and years (Genesis 1:14-15). At Home, our Jesus will be our light, and there will be no more night (Revelation 22:5).
There will be a river of the Water of Life flowing from the Throne of God and the Lamb. There will be on either side of it the Tree of Life with different fruits for each month. How we will partake of this remains to be seen, but no matter what, it will excel far above any food and drink we have ever had here (Revelation 22:1-2).
The main point to all of this is our Jesus paid for us to be with Him in this Beautiful Holy City, and our “cost” is to believe in Him and accept His wonderful gift. There is no deity other than our Heavenly Trinity who would ever love us such as this. Man-made gods are created in human minds with human limitations to rule with strict regulations, many works and donations, and whatever. For us to believe we could “earn” one second of time in our eternal Home by our own means would be a great insult to our Creator and especially His Son.
A song by Mrs. A. S. Bridgewater (1873-1957) of North Carolina, published in 1920, is called “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be.”
1.) We read of a place called Heaven; it’s made for the pure and the free. These truths in God’s Word He has given; how beautiful Heaven must be.
Ref) How beautiful Heaven must be; sweet home of the happy and free; fair haven of rest for the weary; how beautiful Heaven must be.
2.) In Heaven no drooping nor pining; no wishing for elsewhere to be. God’s light is forever there shining; how beautiful Heaven must be. (ref)
3.) Pure waters of life there are flowing; all who will drink may be free. Rare jewels of splendor are glowing; how beautiful Heaven must be. (ref)
4.) The angels so sweetly are singing, up there by the beautiful sea. Sweet chords from their gold harps are ringing; how beautiful Heaven must be. (ref)
Now for the downside. This will only be for those who have truly called out and asked to be forgiven by Jesus, and for Him to be our eternal Savior. We realize we have all sinned, and only the pure sinless blood shed by our Jesus at Calvary can cleanse us. There is no other way to have an eternal Home with our Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; John 3:18; and 1 John 5:12 as examples).
To pass from this earth without Jesus as your Savior is the unforgivable sin. The cost will be an appearance in that long line at the Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. No member of the flock of our Shepherd will be at this judgment.
There is no pardon, no forgiveness available there, and no suspended sentences. All in that line will be assigned eternal punishment in the lake of fire prepared especially for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).
Even though our messages about being saved, being born again, and having an eternal Home with Jesus are foolishness to the unsaved (1 Corinthians 1:18), we are giving them an opportunity to repent and change their eternal address once and for all. No one will be forced, as some religions try to do to their members, but each person has the ability to choose for themselves who they will worship. Jesus or Satan.
Satan and his demons are working overtime these days. False prophets and antichrists are getting more active daily. Many evangelical churches have turned away from preaching God’s word and are giving ear-tickling, feel-good, and totally unbiblical messages to their members. Everyone is told just how “good” they are, that there are many ways to Heaven, and any “love” lifestyle a person desires is perfectly all right. Sin is conveniently overlooked.
The condition of today’s world is right on schedule with the end of this age’s prophecy. The Father is “setting the hooks,” as given in Ezekiel 38:4. The coalition is primed, and before long, they will try to take out Israel for their abundant wealth. Then, the man with the peace plan will appear, and it will be 7 years of tribulation here.
With that so close, our being called up to meet Jesus in the air is even closer. The Rapture will take place as promised by the Father to keep us from the wrath that is coming (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53).
The only question remaining is, which will you choose? Time is rapidly slipping away, and today would not be too soon to follow Romans 10:9-13. Verse 13 is key for all believers; “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Just think of the beautiful Home waiting if you are part of the Shepherd’s flock. Don’t hesitate, or you may just be too late.
Maranatha – Come, Lord Jesus!

Creativity Magick
Tumblr media
Creativity is a topic that's very near and dear to my heart. When I don't have time or energy to take on creative projects, I get really grouchy and unpleasant to be around. So I try to make time to feed my creative spirit as often as possible. There are a lot of little things you can do to invite more creativity into your life. - Make a creativity altar. Include stones and herbs from the lists below, and perhaps a piece of art of poetry that inspires you in your creative work. This is a great place to add a small offering bowl to make offerings to your muses or creative spirits. - Make a creativity herbal bath. Use some of the herbs below to make a nice soak that you use to prepare yourself for creative time. Use some of the stones too, just make sure they can be submerged in water first. If not, place them on the counter of your bathroom and burn some nice incense to set the mood. - Immerse yourself in things that inspire you. This could mean going to an art museum or listening to inspiring music. You could browse poetry at the library or take in a play. Try to see if you can get inspired by immersing yourself in a different creative field from what you usually participate in. For example, if you create music, read some short stories to see if you can get inspired. If you paint, look at some sculptures to be inspired. It all fills your creative well! - Write a prayer to creativity deities. Think about The Muses, Sarasvati, Brigid, Isis, or any other deities that are associated with creativity. Let your prayer flatter and invoke them to be with you as you create.
