Cursed is a movie made of baffling choices where Ricci is typically wasted and Bowling For Soup is there. Digital werewolves look okay but digital werewolf transformations do not. You can almost pinpoint the MONTH this came out.

I Love Your Work (2003)
In today's review, I deal with obsession in early 2000s Hollywood. As I attempt a #positive review of Adam Goldberg's directorial debut I Love Your Work #GiovanniRibisi #FrankaPotente #JoshuaJackson #MarisaCoughlan #ChristinaRicci #JasonLee #VinceVaughn
It used to be the case that the image that public-facing celebrities present, may indeed be far from reality. That’s becoming less and less certain with the rise of social media, and the supposed openness of the idols, yet the facts still reminded us that they are as human as the rest of us, with all warts included. In 2003, decided to take his debut in the directing chair to new heights, by…

Greer Blitzer Apologizes For Defending Blackface Photo: ABC As Season 27 played out, Bachelor Nation uncovered old social media posts from Blitzer that showed her defending a fellow classmate who posed in Blackface. During “Women Tell All,” she addressed the controversy with Palmer, who said “The truth is as a franchise we’ve done a very poor job in the past of addressing serious topics head on,…

'Cursed' Movie and Blu-ray Review
‘Cursed’ Movie and Blu-ray Review
The following review was written by Ultimate Rabbit correspondent, Tony Farinella. From reading up on “Cursed” through the IMDB trivia section, the story behind the scenes of this film might be more interesting than the film itself.  I say this as a huge fan of the film.  I think it’s a really, really good Wes Craven/Kevin Williamson collaboration.  Is it as good as their work on the “Scream”…

Jupiter & Rahu : Ditziness & Weird Girl Humor
This post is inspired by an ask I received a while ago
Jupiter & Rahu girls in comedy cinema/television often play airheaded characters who are a bit ditzy and zany. Another feature is that all these characters are mostly harmless, good natured people. They can be mean/blunt but its because of their ditzy, airheaded nature and not out of malice.
All 3 Jupiter naks belong mostly to air signs (Punarvasu- Gemini, Vishaka-Libra, Purvabhadrapada- Aquarius) and same goes for all 3 Rahu naks (Ardra-Gemini, Swati-Libra, Shatabhisha-Aquarius) in fact all Rahu naks come right before a Jupiter nak. I have always personally believed that Rahu & Jupiter are similar in many ways but obviously different as well. Rahu is limitless expansion. Jupiter is boundless expansion within principles.
But all that aside, Jupiter & Rahu are literally air influenced and I do think its the presence of an excess of Air that makes someone come across as "airheaded".
The etymology of the word "airhead" is that one's head is filled with air and is thus empty. I have talked about Jupiter & even Rahu's limitless nature feeling "empty" for the natives themselves. Out of all the elements, air is the only one that can really said to be boundless, its not measurable or calculable, its just there, unlike water or earth or fire. but air has no physical form and while that is liberating, it also makes one feel empty and untethered and these are all emotional issues that a lot of Jupiter/Rahu people deal with.
But anyyywayys,
youtube
Cat Valentine on Victorious played by Ariana Grande is a really good example of an airheaded, zany comic character.
Ari has Ardra Sun & Mercury in Punarvasu (Rahu + Jupiter influence)
I will include Mercury placements because Mercury is literally how we communicate with others??
youtube
Phoebe Buffay from Friends is another good example of this type of comedy. She is played by Lisa Kudrow's who has Rahu conjunct Ascendant in Punarvasu
youtube
Kelly Kapoor from The Office is the ditzy zany delusional gal played by Mindy Kaling who is Ardra Sun & Moon, with Mercury in Punarvasu
youtube
Jackie Burkhart on The 70s Show played by Mila Kunis, Swati Moon is a meaner version of this archetype
youtube
Meryl Streep- Ardra Sun often speaks and talks this way. Just watch any of her interviews and you can sense that Rahu/Jupiter airy nature/demeanour/comic sense
youtube
Janhvi Kapoor, Purvabhadrapada Sun, Mercury in Shatabhisha is known for her "dumb girl persona" that most people think is fake but tbh I just think she's a little slow due to all that Air influence lol
youtube
Gracie Allen, Mercury in Punarvasu conjunct Jupiter is an early example of this type of humour and comedy
youtube
Cheryl Tunt on Archer voiced by Judy Greer, Mercury in Punarvasu (Saturn in Punarvasu atmakaraka)
youtube
Chrissy Snow from Three's Company played by Suzane Somers, Punarvasu Moon & Mercury in Vishaka is a classic example of a ditz
There are notable male ditzy characters as well
youtube
Andy from Parks & Rec played by Chris Pratt, Mercury in Punarvasu & Swati Rising
(there's a 10 video limit per post so I cant attach more vids)
Tumblr media
Joey Tribbiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, Purvabhadrapada Moon, Mercury in Ardra & Punarvasu Rising is a great example of a male ditz
Tumblr media
Harpo Marx- Punarvasu Moon, Mercury in Vishaka he was a silent comedian known for his highly exaggerated physical comedy that was very pantomime/clown-like. This is another aspect of the airhead/ditz, they don't just say dumb things, they do dumb things. Physical comedy is a big part of it.
Tumblr media
London Tipton played by Brenda Song, Mercury conjunct Rahu in Purvabhadrapada
Tumblr media
Christina Applegate, Shatabhisha Moon played a very ditzy character on Married With Children
These are all the examples off the top of my head. I feel like many Disney princesses will also fit this bill lol
lmk if you have other examples
hope this was interesting xx

youtube
Hi Friends. In this episode Christina and I will be chatting about the Little Women adaptation from 1978. Starring Susan Dey as Jo, Greer Garson as Aunt March, Richard Gilliland as Laurie and William Shatner as Professor Bhaer.
It is sometimes obscure but I actually really like it.

One of the basic problems people have when talking about organized transphobia is assuming that Mumsnet posters are basically the same thing as Valerie Solanas or the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival, and they're much more like Christina Hoff Sommers. They're right-wingers taking bits of feminist language and theory to reassemble into a reactionary political vision.
Now you've got your Germaine Greers, but I think, candidly, that Greer went right-wing because she sensed the emergence of pedocons in the breeze and knew this would be her home.
More relevantly, the "GC" thought pattern is so strongly built on the inevitability of men as a factor in women's lives- in their view, it is men who will do the work of brutalizing the transness out of trans people, and for transphobic radfems generally, this was not the case. It's a key difference and it makes grand theories of why TERFism inevitably leads to total bigotry appealing emotionally but factually questionable.

{ MANU RIOS, 20, CIS MALE, HE/HIM } Is that MILO NAVARRO? A JUNIOR originally from KEY WEST FL., they decided to come to Ogden College to study ARCHITECTURE. They’re THE JERK JOCK on campus, but even they could get blamed for Greer’s disappearance.
THE STATS
FULL NAME: Milo Navarro NICKNAME: None BIRTHDAY: April 7th AGE: 21 ZODIAC: Aries sun, Libra moon, Scorpio rising, Aries mercury, Aries venus, Sagittarius Mars GENDER: Cis Male PRONOUNS: He/Him ORIENTATION: Bisexual ETHNICITY: As European as they come TROPE: The Jerk Jock MAJOR: Architecture SPORTS TEAMS: Tennis Singles/Doubles & Captain, Swimming and Diving Team, Soccer Team EXTRACURRICULARS: Running team, Fencing Club, Triathlon Club, SAE Member
IN DEPTH
ABOUT THE TROPE: He was a Jerk he was a Jock can I make it any more obvious. No, I’m kidding. Milo is not an easy person to get along with. He’s rude, he’s outspoken, he’s extremely critical when people are not up to his standards which are way to high to ever meet. He calls it passion, some people call it being an asshole. Both is true. He’s not afraid of being a bit of a bully, he’s not ashamed to intimidate another person if he needs to. Or even sometimes just because he can be. Because he gets away with it. They’re in college, what is someone going to do cry to a professor about it? Grow up. You’ll never get anywhere in life if you can’t stand up for yourself - that’s the lesson Milo goes by, because that’s the lesson his own father attempted to drill into his head from when he was old enough to learn anything. That’s likely unsurprising for anyone to hear if they ever do, but not everyone’s problems are all that unique. Sometimes it stems from a father who disguised his abuse and constant pressure to be perfect as making sure his son would achieve as much as he could possibly achieve. Milo was able to do just that. Going pro in tennis at the age of 16, and getting into a school as good as Ogden (likely only due to his skills in tennis and other sports). It’s not so out of the ordinary for a person who didn’t grow up with anything else, to turn around and do the exact same to everyone around him.
RELATIONSHIP WITH GREER: Milo met Greer the summer before their first year at Ogden at a retreat the Tennis team held for the new players to the team. They were paired as doubles a few times, and worked better with each other than they did with anyone else. From then on whenever there was an option to pick partners the two of them picked each other. Their relationship grew from there, both working well together while not exactly getting along. There is a saying that you should always surround yourself with people who challenge you, and won’t agree with everything you say or do. That was Greer and Milo. He valued their relationship more than almost anyone else, but that did not mean they weren’t at each other’s throats constantly. Both of them being strong willed, forceful personalities it was like a tornado meeting a forest fire, that could explode at any moment. The passion they both brought to the court made for a great partnership, but Milo was never sure if he would ever call them ‘friends’. That doesn’t mean they weren’t close. Most of Milo’s closest relationships are antagonistic in some way or another, after all.
CHARACTER INSPO: Christina Yang ( Greys Anatomy), Li Shang ( Mulan ), Henry Spencer ( Psyche ), Paris Geller ( Gilmore Girls ), Sue Sylvester ( Glee ), Rosa Diaz ( Brooklyn Nine-Nine ), Taissa ( Yellowjackets )
OTHER TROPES: coming soon …
OUTTER CHARACTERISTICS
EYE COLOR: Green HAIR COLOR: Brown HEIGHT: 5'10 BUILD: Athletic PIERCINGS: His ear MARKS AND SCARS: He has a very faint scar across his cheek you can really only see in certain light TATTOOS: He has an abstract graphic design tattooed on his forearm CLOTHING STYLE: Mens athleasure street wear that costs much more than it looks like it should. But he goes pretty hard on dressing up for parties. HEALTH: So physically healthy and active he will live forever DRINKS: Yes SMOKES: Yes DRUGS: No
INNER CHARACTERISTICS
POSITIVE TRAITS: Passionate, Self Reliant, Strong willed NEGATIVE TRAITS: Insensitive, Stubborn, Very (self) Critical MBTI TYPE: INTJ ENNEAGRAM TYPE: 8w7 MORAL ALIGNMENT: True Neutral/Neutral Evil TEMPRAMENT: Choleric ELEMENT: Fire
FUN FACTS
He was born in Madrid Spain and lived there until he was 8 when his mother died. His father moved them to Key West after that.
He has been a professional tennis player since he was 16 years old.
He has a turtle named Nicki Minaj and she’s everything.
He’s not G.
QUICK CATCH UP
He was dared by G at Greer’s Birthday Pool Party to confess if he had ever … coveted another’s girlfriend. He was going to do it but chickened out.
Because of that G framed him for being … G. He’s not.
He found a weird redacted clue during the Halloween Haunted House.
His name was vaguely cleared in the gossip blog.
He was locked in a closet with [ THE ERUDITE STONER ] during the ski trip black out, feet away from where Penny was (possibly) killed.
G then outted that he had been sleeping with Greer behind the back of his best friend [ THE BIG MAN ON CAMPUS ] the entire time they were friends.
