I (think I) know everyone knows about the 2008 episode of the BBC Radio 4 show Chain Reaction...the one where Catherine Tate interviews David. Right? You know that one? Folks, there can be several winners. Several groups can be at the top of the k-pop pyramid.

127's path wasn't easy (nor Dream's or WayV's for the matter). Some members spent a long time waiting to debut, others had to go through scandals, injuries, hiatuses. When the unit finally found real fame, they couldn't go on tours and had to sit back home for years. When the covid ended, the company went into feudal war. The constant gain and loss of NCT members. Long periods between unit comebacks. Fights among members.

Which long-lasting k-pop group's path was smooth though? BigBang? BTS? EXO?

There is no happiness without sadness. It's when the human struggles, he cherishes the good moments and feels fullfilled and alive. The hardships made neos individually stronger, their bond as a group more wholesome, their achievements more deserved and golden.

7,5 years is a long time, but it also close to the time (5-9 years) a commoner spends at the university just to get a degree to be able to "start a career". While neos lived their lives to the fullest instead. And achieved the dream they started to pursue when they debuted.
